They spend about 45 minutes which I appreciate (Annie does a wonderful job too!) I can't comment on the color selection (hahaha) but I do know what I like and appreciate. Called at 10 am for an 11 am appointment. I walked in at 11:00 and I still had to wait 30 minute before they attended to me. Pedicure was nice, but they didn't do any salt scrub or anything described in the menu. I got a regular pedicure and a shellac mani. Literally got my manicure done yesterday morning and the woman put too many layers that literally a day later the paint peeled off. (See pictures) Disappointed because if I had time this weekend I would have gone back for them to fix... I paid 52$ total to only have my nails last one night. Really disappointed. I went to do my nails and I came with glitter powder. When I asked to do a light pink color the manicurist recommended a little bit darker pink to cover over the glitter. I chose a different color which she said would cover the glitter, and so I trusted her to do her job. After she had applied two coats, the glitter was still visible. I pointed this out to the woman and she assured me that a third layer would finish the job. Again I trusted her because she is supposed to be a professional. After the third layer on one nail, the glitter was still not covered. I pointed this out to her and she said I needed to pick another color. Together we picked another color, same tone, a little darker. After she had applied two more layers of the new color, she declared the judge b finished. The result was thick, poorly shaped nails, lumpy polish, and the glitter was still visible! I spoke with the supervisor to express my dissatisfaction and she informed me that I should have picked a very dark color. I told her that I had chosen my color with the help of the manicurist, but she refused to listen to me. I asked to have the nails redone and she told me I would be charged. I don't think I should be charged for the fault of the manicurist. I tried to compromise with her because the nails definitely had to be redone, either by her or at another salon. After discussing for several minutes she refused to accept either of the options so I paid the money and left disappointed. They clearly don't understand customer service. read more

Zero customer service don't ask how you are doing nothing! Then I started with the nails every time I get my nails done it's always one nail that breaks and the paint job is poor. Pedicures is great and eyebrows on point but full set is not worth it plus they charge 15 to have gel polish that crazy. I won't go back for nails just feet and eyebrows. I went to Hi Tech nails for the first time due to my usual nail technician being completely booked and unavailable until the following day. I walked in and was instantly greeted by Helen. She told me it would be about a five minute wait so I left to complete a couple of errands. As I was on my way back, I saw Lynn coming out of the shop to see if I was close by because another customer had come in. She took me right away, which I appreciated, because she could have taken the customer who came in after I left. Lynn did such a beautiful job. She was very friendly (as well as everyone else) and was very meticulous about her work. I was very pleased with the shape of my nails and Lynn was a huge help in assisting me with choosing a color pattern that would be complimentary to the design I wanted. She looked at a picture of the design I desired and told me it would be similar. Turns out I liked her design better than the one in the picture! I have been going to this place off and on for pedicures and waxing. I went to get me lip waxed yesterday and it felt different this time around.when I got back to work my upper lip was burned. Before I left she kept putting gel on it and didn't say a word. I went back and told them this is what happen. There was one other woman there getting hers done. After my pedicure I was really surprised to fine it was only 20 dollars, I then saw that a manicure was 10 dollars and asked if they had time to do one, they were more than happy to help me. Since then I have gotten my cousin and 3 of my aunts to become regulars. Being in Todos Santos it makes it really easy to have a "girls" day out and start it all off with amazing mani pedies (which inclue a message chair as well as a message for your hands and/or feet). Worst Pedicure EVER!!!!! Not only did this lady give me the toughest abrasive hard and uncomfortable pedicure ever... She put red on my toes ( too bright) and I asked for a darker red ... She kept slamming my feet around! Where my ankles are hurting... She was so rough that her fingers are red from too much pressure... She was too lazy too use a hand file on and soles of my feet that she used an electric file and I told her I'm way too ticklish for that it was miserable and she said sorry it's ok stay still... Like WTF lady!!! I'm paying you to do this the right way! Oh and the lady next to me started her pedicure 20 minutes before me and I finished first how is that even possible!!! Massage sucked! She threw all the trash on the floor on top of the magazines we are suppose to read instead of putting them in her trash... Her tools were labeled wrong...she dipped her brush in an open container twice without sanitizing it from using it on my feet! Like are you serious!!!!! I made a New Years resolution to get my nails done regularly and my friend goes to this place all the time. I decided to try them out and fell in love. First off, they are a LATEX-FREE environment. Ya, that's pretty important to someone like me who has to carry an epi-pen because I'm that allergic. I have sensitive skin too and they use skin products made for people like me. So far, I get my acrylic nails done bi-weekly with Helen. Sometimes I get busy and that turns into three weeks later. My nails last pretty long. Just note: I'm not easy on my hands to the point I can't wear rings because I've dented jewelry.... price of manual labor but my nails survive. I got a pedicure here which happens rarely for me. My feet are hella sensitive but Maria was very good with me. They perform waxing services here too! I got my eyebrows waxed to my perfection. I got my armpits waxed for the first time and Jenny was super cool. She checked in with me to make sure my first experience was a pleasant one (despite it still hurts because my armpit hair was thick). This place can be off the hook busy in the afternoons and weekends. They're really good with fitting you in or you can just make an appointment. I went to get my acrylic done at this place worst experience ever I'm a noobie at acrylic so I asked many questions before committing. First of all before even the process started they did not clean or sanitize my hands just started working on it straight from street. Once the process started I told my tech I did not like it and what were my removal option she rudely laughed in my face and said it was impossible And proceed to talking to co workers frowning towards me,the job was done poorly my nails were crooked From my original Nail, filed awkwardly to match the acrylics in very unflattering manner 3 days went by and my right indicator tip fell off I called in and then went in she fixed it for free but blamed me for it. REALLY.... Have a a job that requires being very gentle hand, I work with infants. After a week my left indicator tip fell as well irritated and mad I did not call back. Next day I'm laying in bed and All my nail beginning to falls by end of that day my four nails on left hand were all gone and only thumb left now to give U am idea I'm Predominantly right handed and.
