This is my new go-to nail salon! After moving from Oakland I knew I had limited time to find a new place to get my nails done - my gel manicure was starting to get really horrifyingly grown out. After reading a bunch of reviews I decided to try out Mirage Nails and I'm so glad I did! I called ahead to make an appointment and I was scheduled for a Sunday. When I got to the salon it was fairly busy and I was early, but I didn't have to wait too long to be seen. I picked my color and my old manicure was off in a blink of an eye. The manicure itself went well too. I waited to write a review to see how the manicure stood the test of time (which is the real hallmark of a good manicure in my humble opinion) and two weeks later it's still looking great! And prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be coming back when I decide to switch up the colors!
Mikki & Kim are the best! Been coming here for a little less than a year & they always do a great job & most importantly, they always make sure to do what I want & make sure I like my nails before I leave. If anything happens to my nails, they are happy to fix them, usually at no cost to me. They are busy often so best to call & make an appointment. Highly recommend!
Kim and Mikki are the best! I come to them every 3-4 weeks and they never disappoint. They take their time to make sure your nails are done right. They remember every person they meet and care about their customers. I like to support local and they are so kind and genuine, they always put me in the best mood.
Absolutely LOVE this salon. I've been a regular since 2022, and have ventured out to maybe two or three other nail salons since -- but can NEVER find anywhere else that has such high quality nail polishes, with such consistent service (I almost always ask for Kim or Kimmy*), that can easily color match the Pinterest photos I walk in with. I typically ask for either a natural pink or nude or French tip with an almond or squared shape. Before I started coming here, I actually used to be incredibly insecure about my hands because I had very wide nail beds with outgrown cuticles. However, with time, I've grown incredibly confident with my hands & try to photograph my manicures every time I get them done!
I got a French gel mani with Kim. She was very nice and friendly but I am disappointed by my mani. After getting back in my car from the service, I could already tell there were issues. The white tip had bled into the rest of the nail probably because it wasn't dry all the way before she put on the topcoat. The white tips also were not done super well. They were messy. Also, within a day or two, The gel was already lifting from some of the corners of my nails. Six days after the manicure, and the gel completely lifted from my thumb nail! At least this means they will come off easily? I paid $35 for the mani + $5 for the French. I tipped $10.
I've been a regular at Mirage Nails for around 6 months now and I refuse to get my nails done anywhere else - I absolutely love this place! Kim does an amazing job with my dip manicures and they always turn out beautifully. I've had bad experiences at other salons before: expensive manicures barely lasting 5 days, sloppy/bad work, nail techs being too rough with my hands, etc. but I'm happy to say that has never been the case here. Kim is always very gentle and has a great eye for detail. My dip manicures typically last around 3-4 weeks. Highly recommend checking this salon out!
Since finding them in October, Ive made it a point to come back every month for a new gel set. Micki, Rose, and Kim are amazing. So much fun to be around and always remember people that come in. They do a great job every time and I'm always so excited about my new sets. They also choose really great colors! They always have trendy, fun colors to pick from. I never review places a second time but honestly I'm obsessed. Mirage nails or nothing :)
I would honestly give this place a five star if I got a massage since I got a spa gel pedicure and manicure. I love how they are open on holiday and accommodating they are especially Kim and her daughter. But I didn't get any massage nor a good foot scrub. I was disappointed with that. I got a V French tip. It was good when you are looking on top but the sides aren't. They charged me $90 and I paid $90 + $30 since they accommodate me on such a short notice.

This is the best experience I've ever had getting my nails done. Kim and her daughter are skilled and lovely professionals and gave me an excellent mani/pedi. They are temporarily at a new address so definitely double check the address when calling for your appointment. It was Kim's first time doing a marble/jade design and she was happy to try it. She even encouraged me to let her redo it if I wasn't satisfied with it. I'm totally happy with it! It reminds me of Jade and matcha lattes. Exactly what I was going for. Will def be back! read more

Kim and Mikki are amazing! Kim has been doing my nails for two years now and she always captures exactly what I ask for. They are so sweet, very quick to respond to appointment requests via text, and the prices are very fair, especially considering the quality of work and care they take in getting my nails exactly how I like them. Kim and Mikki are wonderful! I brought in a photo of some fun nail art and Mikki studied it carefully and then did an amazing job of recreating it for me. She was so sweet and patient. Any time I get a manicure here it lasts for a solid 3 weeks. Great people and excellent service. read more

I've been going to this salon for years. The staff is always so nice and funny! A mom and daughter run the place and they're terrific! I let them have their way with my nails (I'll pick a general color and let them go!) and I always love it. This week I showed Kim (mom) a photo I liked and she did it better. read more

My first time at Mirage Nails last week on Wednesday for Gel-X nails. The salon is in a very small shopping center that I have driven by many times, but it's easy to miss the shopping center so I have overlooked it. I'm so happy I found Mirage Nails through Yelp. I got my nails done by Mikki. She did such a fantastic job! Four days ago today from Wednesday of last week, and I'm still so impressed with how my nails turned out. Mikki made my experience at Mirage very memorable. She was really sweet, funny, and the most talented person that's done my Gel-X. I will definitely be back to get my nails done. read more

A friend referred me to Kim at Mirage Nails and I am so pleased with my manicure! Kim is a perfectionist and has such a fun personality. She sculpted my former thick acrylic nails into a more natural, thinner almond shape and I will be slowly transitioning over to using builder gel to grow & strengthen my natural nails. Kim is the best nail tech I've come across in Pleasant Hill I highly recommend Mirage Nails! read more

I have been coming to Kim and her family for over a year now. I enjoy the small conversations we have and that they remember their clients and what they like and dislike. I work in the medical field and I am unable to have long acrylics. She builds me a nail every time. If I have ever messed my nails up before me return time she always makes it right. Hands down the BEST family owned nail shop around. read more

I've been here twice and both times I had a great experience. This time I came in with a broken nail and she fixed it to match the rest, now you can't even tell. Plus best foot massage of all of the places I've tried around here hands down! read more

I have had really positive experiences here. Kim is so talented, pays so much attention to detail, and truly wants to give you the nails you are asking for. Not to mention, shes very kind. I have gone to so many different nail spas and stopped going due to bad costumer service, chipped nails after a week, and overall not feeling cared for. I don't feel that way with Mirage. Came to mirage nails for the first time today and loved it! Kim was able to fit me in after much back and forth in scheduling which I really appreciated. I showed her a design I liked on the spot and she was able to do something similar. I even had a broken nail that she was able to fix with ease. Can't even tell which was broken anymore. Loving my nails and will definitely be back. Thank you Kim! read more

Today Mikki (Kim's daughter) truly took care of me! I never know what I want besides "dip" and she was able to do a chrome ombré with metallic blue and green. The staff at this shop are personable and friendly (and will keep you laughing). I highly recommend this nail shop! read more

Kim is the sweetest lady ever. I called about 9:50 on a Monday morning and she was able to do my gel manicure right away. I had a couple of chips from every day movements and instead of cutting all my nails down, she was able to patch them and fix them so I can keep my natural length (my natural nails are really hard to grow). She's super funny and charismatic and is able to grow a solid relationship with her customers. The nail service itself was fantastic. She swatched a few different colors on my nails so I could decide and was helpful with the process. Overall, I spent $35 for a gel manicure and it took her 25-30 min. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend going here and asking for Kim. read more
Mikki is a sweetheart and an extremely competent professional. I have very sensitive cuticles - the kind that start bleeding just from looking at them - and she did an outstanding job. No ouchies for me! I wanted natural-looking nails and that's what I got (think ballet slippers by Essie). Mikki's mom is super funny and charismatic. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I feel lucky to have found a nail salon that is just perfect for me! read more

Love this nail salon, I'm glad I found them. It is small, about 3 nail stations and 3 spa pedicures, and definitely worth getting your nails done here! Kim fixed my nails from another salon and I've been going back to her ever since! She is also very welcoming and funny. They're always busy when I go in so I recommend booking in advance. read more
