I'm so sorry to give this review because everyone there was very sweet and had great customer service. But honestly, how does my own regular nail polish last longer than theirs? Two of my nails completely chipped off the very next day. I went back to see if they could repaint just those two nails, and they did -- which was very kind of them. However, they used gel polish on those two fingers, so now I have two gel nails while the rest are regular polish and continuing to chip. I specifically chose regular polish because gel makes my nails very brittle. It's only been two days and my nails already look really bad. I also have to mention that the salon really needs a deeper clean. The tables were covered in nail powder and everything looked messy and unkept. read more

I like this place but I have to not be in a hurry when I come here. They do great work, are reasonably priced and give you a juice drink so it's hard not to like them. I've had a few experiences where I made an appointment and had to wait (which is fine) but taking walks ahead of appointments make me a little cranky. Called for a pedicure and asked if they could take me in 10 mins. Gal said yes but seemed tentative. Please don't say yes if you are crowded I asked. No come in she said. I did. Full house. Waited 15 mins to get into chair and was waiting ten more mins with my feet in cold water. When it became clear there would still be a wait I dried my feet and left. Ask to salon...I am happy you are busy and please let customers know when you are busy and how much of a wait there will be. I didn't have time today to spend 90 mins for a pedicure. read more

I'll start off by saying they're really nice here. My lady was super sweet and I enjoyed chatting with her. I didn't get her name though. Called and got a same day appointment. Same person did my dip powder AND pedi. Dip: she didn't take off my old dip all the way. Just soaked and filed it down a bit but left the old dip on, which is probably why less than a week later everything is chipping/ lifting. I asked for French, and by "looks" she did a great job but she did gel French over my dip. My other dip place can do dip powder in French so this confused me but I went with it. Again it looked nice but it was too thin of dip (2 layers) + gel so my nails were just too thin? Every time I hit my nail on something (accident) my nails chip/ crack/ break. Pedicure: not enough coats either! I can SEE the brush strokes bc it's so thin. It also rubbed off the next day. Paid $80 for both which is pretty average but for the quality of work, not worth it. I've been coming to this salon for a year and a half. Everyone is so friendly, equally talented, and attentive to your needs. The always greet me by first name and are so joyful. Was not satisfied with my visit. I felt like they were dishonest. I went in and asked for a manicure and pedicure I wanted gel toes and dipped French tips on my hands I asked for the price. They gave me one and they got started. They had two people working on me at the same time which I'm not a fan of. They started doing my hands but didn't cut, shape them etc. She said she did that after the dip because it would make the nails stronger. I didn't think anything of it and they started working again. Eventually I had to stop them because it is obvious I was not getting a manicure they were just doing a dip. They told me they don't do a dip manicure. If I wanted my cuticles and nails shapes etc it would cost more. I ended up getting just the mani pedi gel combo for $80 and paid $5 more for French tips. My toes look good but my manicure doesn't look as good. I still have hangnails definitely not cleaned up as well as it should have been. I had to remind them again my nails needed to be cut and shaped that I wanted all my nails one length. They cured my nails with little fuzz etc which will bug me. It looks fine but for the price and hassle not worth it. I thought the man who must have been the owner was sort of rude. And I thought the prices and services were not transparent. read more

Got a regular spa mani & pedi for $55, and the quality left a lot to be desired. While the people are nice, ultimately I did not feel like it justified the cost and will not be a return customer. 1. I noticed a lot of bubbles/unevenness with my manicure after it dried. Could be because of the quality of the polish or the application. 2. My nails started chipping the very next day. I don't expect regular polish to last very long, but I normally wouldn't see chipping until maybe 2-3 days out. 3. This was probably the fastest mani/pedi ever. I am pretty sure they finished in about 40 minutes (mani and pedi were done separately). I like efficiency, but it honestly made me question how thorough / detailed they were. 4. I have low expectations for the massage portion of mani/pedi these days, but this was pretty much ZERO effort. They were basically brushing their hands against me with no pressure whatsoever. Pros: I made an appointment the same day, and when I was running a few minutes late - THEY called me to make sure I was coming in. Event though I was 10 min late they still sat me down immediately. The last time I came in, they also offered Apple Juice or water which was nice. They are decently priced - not too expensive. Cons: She did not take off my dipped polish when I came in. Usually, they soak for 10-15 min and scrape the polish off. She just immediately began using the tool and shaved the dipped polish off. I even asked why she didn't soak and she said because it was acrylic. I even showed her pictures of how it looked and ensured her it was only dipped and she still DID NOT soak to take the polish off. Secondly, I requested for a coffin shaped, but she instead did square and the edges are so sharp. I keep scratching myself. Additionally, when dipping my nails in the polish she did not use the filer to shave it evenly. So now I look like I have balloon nails, the polish is lifted from my nail I feel like it will pop off. She also did not do a massage (maybe because of COVID, but the last time was here she did do a small massage) in the end of my manicure. She was also done in 45 minutes when usually it takes at least an hour. I usually go across the street to Puffin Nails. Puffin is pricey but they take the time to know exactly what you want. Puffin also spends at least an hour doing your nails with care. read more

I love when my nails are cut, filed evenly and the polish is nicely cleaned up around my toes - who doesn't? I left having a decent pedi. Some of the clear nail polish was on my skin and I left having some wax on my feet. Once they figured out I was on my lunch break they wanted to hurry up and get me on my way, which I understand. I can never find a solid nail shop. I had to stop frequenting the last nail shop due to my pedicure being rushed. I will only speak about the pedicure services. This nail shop is somewhat hidden at the Corner or Treat/Oak Grove. I walked in and was quickly greeted and asked what service I needed. I sat down while the water was being run for my pedicure. The cutest lady comes out and starts doing my pedicure. She didn't speak English but I communicated a few things to the woman doing nails and she translated for me. She did an excellent job. She went back and double checked everything and treated me like a princess. This nail shop is smaller then others. Parking is interesting because you share the lot with multiple businesses.The staff is nice and they bring you complimentary juice and water. They prefer tips to be in cash and have a notice up stating that (tacky). But overall I had a great experience and hope to always get the same lady for my princess spa pedicure. My daughter and I have been to this salon many times the last few years. Every person who works there is polite, efficient and professional. Whenever we have an appointment we are seen in a timely manner. Manicure and pedicure are always exactly what we ask for. I love the extra attention all customers get with a basic pedicure....paraffin wax, warm stone massage and warm towel treatment. I've never known a salon to offer that without charging a lot extra.
