Ive had my nails done many many times before, and this had to be the thinnest full set I have ever received. In fact, same day aprox. 4 hours later- one broke off! I returned the next day and he told me $7 for one nail. I couldnt hep but feel that he makes nails intentionally thin. Anyway, I ended up going to another place where they charged me only $5 for my broken nail. And the nail technician also noticed that my nails were very thin to last the standard two weeks. My one redone nail will definitely be the last one standing next to the other weaklings. I had tried Citi in the past and I must have not been impressed; otherwise, I would have become a regular. Just be warned, when he keeps sanding off the product, say something. Trying to be polite ends up making you waste not only your money, but also precious time in having to return for premature repairs. He also mentioned prices were going up in a few days which really confirms my decision not to return. Nails for me are not a necessary, but a luxury. Main points.. ALL my nails are different shapes. They need to work on scheduling and accurately giving people times for their appts or walk ins. Poor customer service. Poor work. Not what I asked for. Postives.. my nails are smooth and the polish is nice. My boyfriend suggested this place to me even though I normally go to same person in Oakland but we were already in the area and his sisters go here. So he called and they said they had time for me to get a full set and pedicure. But when I get there they say they don't have time but he could do the full set and by the time it's done I could get the pedicure (gave me an hour wait time for my pedicure). I told him I wasn't sure if I wanted to get my nails done, based on not really liking the nails I saw online done by this place but I decided to go ahead and do it since I had to wait for my feet. When my nails are done a girl walked in saying she had an appointment for her and her friend. The nail tech then told me it's going to be an hour from him finishing. I questioned him since he gave me an hour wait time from when I came in and it had been about an hour. He said he didn't say that. And that he said it was an hour from when he finished.. which doesn't make sense because I confirmed with him about the time and I would go ahead and get my nails done since it'll be done around the time I should be good to get my pedicure. I was very annoyed and decided to leave. Then noticed my nails were not the same shape. I asked for coffin nails. Some are square. Some look okay. Some are not straight. It is not a huge difference but you can tell and the difference will both me till I get it fixed. I don't even want to go back there. I will be going to my nail tech to fix them. I wish I would've just listen to my gut and not come here. I would not recommend this place at all. I'll be sticking with my nail tech from now on. read more

More like 4.5. This is my go to nail place! Personally Vivian is the best nail tech. Emily usually takes care of me though BECAUSE Vivian is always booked. Emily does do a good job! They're really good about taking me in for walk-ins, so I'm sure they're good with others about that too. When the shop is busy, the nail techs usually do a decent job, but I feel like the quality becomes better when they're slow(for obvious reasons-busy so they wanna get everyone in). So can't be too mad. Fullset Acrylics are the cheapest here in my opinion $21 is good for the standard Square shape. Any other shape, $25 usually and I still think that's pretty good. Call to make appointments, because they do get busy. Or you can try to get lucky with a walk-in like I usually do! read more

Update: it's been one week since I have gotten my dip set and I've been back twice and the owner was VERY unprofessional, no patience and just plain rude. They need to switch products because whatever they're using is trash. I've NEVER had this experience with DIP! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by going to them to fix it because that's BS. I was actually referred to this place and now I'm wishing I would have never gone here. In the past precovid I would say OK customer service. Decided to go back a couple weeks ago and the pedicure person did my feet And they came out absolutely horrible.  One of the owners came over to take a look and thought she might be able to fix some of them but they were so bad she had to do my entire gel pedicure over Which meant I was in the nail salon for  2 hrs smh.  I decided to go back again today and requested that 1 of the owners do my nails and Polish change on my toes. I was told OK over the phone  but when I got there after getting my nails done I was told the same person who ruined my toes before would do them again so I canceled but of course they didn't care. The male  owner is very rude I tried to ask a question and got an extremely rude response. They are not very friendly or personable at all but possibly only to their regulars.  My nails were done in a complete rush they don't even feel like they were buffed so my nails continue to snag on my hair and anything I touch smh.  This was a waste of my time and money today very disappointment I do not suggest this nail salon at all. I will say I have noticed over the past few months the customer service has went downhill and other customers had voice their concerns in the shop and my girlfriend who recommended this place stop coming here. Today 3/10/18 My 4:30 appointment with my friend turned out to be a horrible experience. By 6:45 my nails were finally completed and my friend still had not had their regular mani yet! DON'T COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PHYSICALLY VIOLATED, TREATED POORLY AND HAVE YOUT TIME WASTED. Typically I get my nails done at a shop in Oakland, but since I've been in Concord, I'd been looking for a new nail shop.I called prior to walking into Citi Nail on Friday just to check the prices for a full set. I found them reasonable for a full set and Gel Polish , so I decided to go in and give them a try. Lisa was my initial nail tech and was very polite at first. I mentioned to her my thumb wasn't straight and said she'd fix it. It wasn't until I got home and got a second opinion from my sister that we noticed the thumb nail on my left hand still wasn't straight after she "fixed" it. I called the shop right away to ask if I could get it done over and let them know that I would be in the next day. The man on the phone (owner Lee) said okay come in. I came in Saturday and Lisa began to fix the nail. I explained to her atleast 3 times that the nail would need to be removed since it's already molded in acrylic unevenly and can't be fixed by filing. Instead she proceeds to file my nails on both thumbs in too far instead of just redoing my left thumb to match my right. Now making both my nails uneven, stiletto shape as opposed to almond which is what I asked and paid for upon initially getting them done.The man that owns the shop comes over and taps me on my shoulder 3 times EXTREMLEY hard with the back of his hand(First Physical Violation) than points for me to sit in his chair instead of politely asking me to come over so he can fix it.I found that to be EXTREMELY aggressive and rude. He proceeds to clip down the tip of my nails only removing the tip, not the whole Acrylic. He then adds another tip on my nail then proceeds to put the acrylic over the old acrylic making my nail extremely bulky, like a bubble, causing alot of pressure on my natural nail underneath. As well as them being to long. As I am looking at my nail he then tossed the nail file at me and tells me that I can file them down myself.(Second Physical Violation).I explained why I was unhappy about my service and had asked for a refund. Even telling him he can clip the nails off because I just want my money back.The owner ,Lee proceeds to laugh in my face about the situation, being absurdly rude in front of other customers and tells me how it doesn't work like that and that I can't have my money back. I left the shop in tears, frustrated and traumatized by the treatment I'd received. I was never rude, raised my voice or came off with the slightest bit of aggression. All I did was ask for a service THAT I PAID FOR WITH MY HARD EARNED MONEY ,to deserve how I'd been treated.(even tipped the first time I came in). I don't see how this place has gotten 4 star ratings or is still even in business. I had to go to another shop to have them cut down, refile and soak my nails in acetone to thin them out because the acrylic was so thick causing pain to my thumb nail which COST ME MORE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY. EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. If you have a preference on how you want your nails to be and are paying for a service DON'T EXPECT THAT FROM CITI NAIL. It's as if asking for what you're paying for is an inconvenience for them to do. If that's the case you shouldn't be in the service industry. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! read more

I was skeptical about coming into the shop because of its reviews but I decided to walk in to get a gel pedicure anyway and I was seated right away! There were other girls in the shop as well but I believe they were waiting to get acrylics. The lady who seated me was super friendly and did a nice job. I like the fact that they had liners on the pedicure bowls and she opened up a fresh package of tools and she discarded them afterwards. Definitely recommend! I suggest the next time Lee make rude comments about a customer he should make sure they don't speak/understand Vietnamese or at least wait until they walk out the door. I came here to get a fill and color change on my feet. I'm actually really satisfied with my fill and color change. I usually go to my lady in Oakland, but I live in walnut creek and its REALLY hard to find someone who's good at acrylics out this way. I didn't have time today to go all the way to Oakland and was around the area and went to Citi Nails. One again, I was happy with my fill and color change. Lee was nice at first. However when I sat down and told my nail tech I glued on of my nails because it was lifting he suggested that he usually just take the nails off and do a new set since my set is old. Completely understandable as "water can get under lifted nails". But I told him it's okay I just need a fill and if he can just drill off the lifted part, I usually go to my lady in Oakland and I love her full sets. He seemed a bit put off by it. When he was almost done with my fill I told him "this is really nice, i haven't found anyone out here that does good acrylics, but I like these fills". He goes on to say you should probably go to your favorite lady in Oakland next time. I kind of just brushed off the comment, and went on to say these are really nice I like them. After I paid I was about to tip him, but he tells his wife, all the way across the room in VIETNAMESE in a very RUDE manner that "that little girl sitting in the chair should just go back to her nail lady in Oakland next time and don't come back here". He made another really rude comment using Vietnamese profanity about me which I can't accurately translate. But it was something along the lines of "...with her stank face". I really liked going to Lee because he shaped my nails perfect but this last time was my last time going. the previous set he put on me my pinky nail cracked, when I went in for my new fill I told him the nail cracked across and was painful. when he went to do that nail he just put acrylic on top and I asked him if he was going to fix and he said putting the acrylic on top would be fine. well here I am, I had to cut the tip off myself because it was throbbing. after the acrylic was removed my real finger nail was cracked across half way down my nail. he can shape great but I've never had something like this happen to my nail. very disappointed I'll have to look for a new technician read more
