I asked for a full set of acrylics and the guy I got didn't seem to know what he was doing and didn't speak much English. He was very rough with anything he did. I asked for coffin shape but my nails turned out like a mixture of stiletto with a hint of coffin. Most of my nails aren't the same shape. The paint on my right hand came out perfect and shiny but that's not the case on my left hand. Not to mention the fact he gave a pretty gnarly cut on my left middle. Going back to the staff that actually work there, there's only one guy that is in the that seemed to know what he was doing and gave the lady next to me the perfect set. The shop is decorated cute...It wasn't very busy when I walked in but I could hear them telling anyone who called to just come in after 3pm. The woman who did my nails literally didn't speak to me the entire time lmao it was so awkward I even had to ask her for the color display. I've been going to various nail salons, but this is by far the best. They took me on a walk-in, the lady who did my fingers nails was very precise and accurate. She took her time to make sure my nails were all the correct size and shape. As for the lady who did my toes, it was great as well! She even gave me a towel to cover my legs due to the fact that I was wearing a dress. It even had massage chairs! Their service was friendly and it was just all out great. The guy that helped me was very nice so two stars for him. But my nails look horrible. I originally asked for a gel full set and he said ok $25 I ask for gel again he says oh it's another $10 so there was just a misunderstanding. But if I knew gel was an additional $10 in the first place I would have left and went to my a different nail place and got it done for $25. After my nails were painted there is still paint on the cuticle area even tho he had went over them. He had me dry my nails with a fan (uhh wth) there's bubbles all over them looks HORRIBLE. Well, my 10 year old went there for a special treat-mani-pedi. She misplaced the gift certificate, and apparently no records are kept about gift certificate purchases. Businesses avoid paying tax when they operate this way. And the man who apparently is a gay man's dream is barely literate in English-he deliberately hung up on me TWICE while I was trying to straighten out our dilemma. VERY RUDE. So we paid cash-and what a crappy nail job. The tiger stripes on my daughter's toenails were all perfectly lined up like a ladder. Honestly, my 10 year old and I do better with the stripers at home. Total waste of money and energy. When I find the certificate, I'm going to try to get my money back-but I bet the owner will refuse...if that happens I'm going to give it to a homeless person with filthy nails, and drive them to the shop to redeem it. One day, I just decided to give this place a try. I walked in with no appointment and they took me within 15 minutes. The lady who did my nails didn't use an electric drill to get the shellac that was one my nails which I found quite refreshing. Most nail shops use electric drills as a short cut which is not good for my nails. So I was very pleased to see that the shop was not trying to cut corners. She also did a great job of trimming my cuticles before she painted new shellac on my nails. Also got a pedicure which was very nice. They had a great selection of colors both shellac and regular nail polish. Lots of design choices and a tongue of jewels for acrylic nails. This place is a win in my book. read more

I am not a fan. I went there to get a shellac manicure and it was terrible. My cuticles were not pushed back, they were drilled, and what was left of them is now painted. When I requested that the drill not be used the manicurist had a little fit. I will not be returning and I would not recommend this place to others. read more

Taking the advice that I read here, I made an appointment at Citi Nails. When they are ready to start the pedicure they open a sealed package of tools. When I was there, it was full of regulars. They suck. I used to like them but truly they suck as a business. Don't go there with any personal expectations of what YOU may like or dislike. They will think it's too much of a problem for them to handle... I've been faithful going to their nail shop for like 10 years now. I don't go every two weeks but month to month. I may have complained about not liking a color that was painted like 3 times max. I don't want nail techs cutting and pulling on my nails to finish removing them. And I don't want them digging on the inside of my big toe nail bed because it leaves my toe hurting for months upon months so I make it clear to please not pull the old dead skin or whatever it is that's pulled from the sides of the nail. Today the owner Lee politely told me no one wants to do my nails for I'm "too picky" and now after being a faithful slave paying my $5 tip after every pedicure and $2/3 after a nail color change and $2 after eyebrow wax. I am so disappointed. I even bought their new born baby a gift... Like 6 years ago. But I always kept them in mind. And in favor to give them my money. And I lived in Walnut Creek 16 yrs but I've been driving my silly self over there for years. And I've honestly always felt they didn't like me. So women. Go with your guts. If it's telling you something believe it "Any thing" believe it. I've always went there humble and thankful. But I have expectations. I didn't know they were so sensitive, but I am and I'm glad they told me how they Really feel so I can stop wondering stop continuing to show up. This is a great place to go, very clean family owned. They sanitize for sure, this is important people! I always wonder about places that you can not see how they clean their equipment (shady). I love the pedicures here, I moved from Concord and have tried desperatly to find a place that compares, with no luck. Le is great with the nails, however I only really only get the manicure, he is busy all the time. They have waxing services and are always trying to expand to give the customers what they want. One of the best acrylic sets I have ever got and I have gotten dozens upon dozens. There are always two types of nail salons- friendly staff or grumpy always seeming annoyed staff and this was definitely friendly! Super sweet woman and man that were here tonight. They are CLEAN CLEAN. New tools with every pedi and mani which is soooo important to me. They use new plastic covers per customer on the pedicure tubs. Great experience, simply amazing!!! The man lee does really good shaping when he wants to. But if you upset him or go to another nail tech he'll try and charge you more for going to someone else.
