I have been coming here twice a month for over 25 years! Ownership has changed a few times but the service is still awesome. I trust that my manicures and pedicures will be done well while keeping my nails healthy. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I can walk in many times, but now usually make an appointment. I love the dip manicures by Mina or Linda... they last 3-4 weeks!! The review that said they don't sanitize equipment is a lie. All equipment is sterilized as I have watched it being done while there. I also don't understand those who said their gel didn't last because my gel and dip always last for weeks to a month. They also guarantee their work and will fix anything you if you go back. I have never needed that. I wish people would understand the ramifications of writing false negative reviews. read more

This was my first time visiting teamwork nail spa! I wanted to get out of the house so did a walk-in visit. I requested for tips and gel extension and Hanna came to help me. From the get go, I would say the establishment itself is modest and friendly, it's not a luxury spa type of experience, but I prefer this more relaxed neighborhood environment. I loved the ladies that worked there! Everyone was so friendly and Hanna was so attentive to my nails. Before long, I had 10 pretty nails looking back at me. Also, I've been to other nail salons to get extensions and I must say, Hanna's skill is one of the best I've experienced. Tips have tended to bother me over time bc of too much glue or uneven gel, placing stress on my nail. My tips feel super natural this time and feels like my actual nails. I got a pedicure done by Mina and two full acrylic sets by Vy on three separate occasions, and they were all nothing less than perfect! I'm new to the area and needed to get my nails and toes done. Finding a salons for all of my beauty services has to be my least favorite part of moving, but I am so happy I found Teamwork Nail Spa! I love that I was able to make an appointment via messaging them on Yelp. They were able to get me in on A Saturday at 9am (right when the opened!). When I arrived they promptly seated me. They had one tech (Phi) so my pedicure and another (Win) do my dip powder manicure at the same time. They were both fantastic (sorry if I misspelled your names!) and I loved they did both services at the same time. I was in and out in an hour because I didn't have dip on my nails they didn't have to remove. Salon isn't updated/anything fancy, but it's clean. And the techs are nice and do a great job. This was my first time getting GelX nails and i had a very good experience! I booked an appointment ahead of time but my friend who came with me made a walk-in appointment and they accepted her without any problem. I decided to get a red french tip with white hibiscus flowers on every finger and i think they did an amazing job. Even though it was very tedious, they finished it all under 50 mins with great accuracy. The environment was also very calm and soothing. I really wanted to love this salon, I walked in on a random Monday and was able to be seen for a dip manicure but for the design I wanted they recommended a tip, I hadn't done my nails in a while so I decided to go for it, towards the end of my manicure I noticed that a few nails seemed crooked, I tried asking them to adjust it but they just filed them. A few days later I noticed that the tip they placed was actually not directly on my nail bed and began to separate, like pretty badly that things were getting stuck inside I went back and asked if they could fix it, my manicurist was off that day and the person who helped me looked at the design I had and mumbled to herself, she told me she could only put clear gel polish to help fix it, I wasn't super happy about this given it was an $80 manicure (including tip) I decided not to press it since I was on a time crunch and also wanted a gel pedi. Anyway, the gel "fix" was not a fix at all, it was actually gross that she didn't even clean under my nails before putting it which felt so odd to me and I didn't notice until after she was done and then I was too embarrassed/annoyed to say anything, I was planning to go back on a day my manicurist was there but never got a chance to. I am now two weeks into my set and today one of the nails that was not placed properly cracked in half and fell off and another one is cracked vertically and things keep getting caught in it, usually when I get my nails done it can last me up to an entire month or 3 weeks at the minimum! I'm pretty disappointed but will give them a chance to do something for me before I decide to never return there again. So I will call when they open tomorrow. I gave 2 stars because they were able to take me as a walk in and because the design was good, my pedicure was also just okay but didn't feel like anything special for $60 with tip Just sharing my honest feedback because I noticed this was highly rated but didn't really have many reviews so want to give them an opportunity to improve and also give people the right expectations Adding photos from how they look now vs the day I got them done Edit: I bumped down to one star because my two week gel pedicure has already chipped, I could go two months without a single chip with a gel pedicure, ended up taking all my nails off because they kept getting caught in things and gunk was getting under my nails. They overcharged us for a pedi/mani. They'll rush through the service, especially the massage part. They don't sanitize their tools!! One of the employees was cutting her nails with her clippings going all over the floor then she put the used clippers without sanitizing it back in the same dirty box for the next pedicure. There is no sanitizer machine.There is no change of equipment the same tools get used on every customer with out sanitizing. A health inspector would have a field day. Never coming back read more

I really wanted to like this place b/c they were really nice and maybe I'll give them another chance in the future but this week's nails were terrible. After only one day, my gel mani had a chip on one nail. At first I was like, maybe it was me even though I don't think I did anything to create the issue. But then 2 days after I got my gel mani, I have 3 nails with the polish chipping off. It's not me- just terrible execution. I had a very comfortable pedicure today on a Friday. Not busy, able to be seen right away. The average price for area. It was the little things that set it apart: quiet and calm, air conditioning (104 outside), comfortable chair, very clean. Noticed and cared for a nail that would have become a problem later; corrected the color I had chosen from the chart as it appeared different. I was not paying attention so I'm so glad she noticed. The chairs have a support where you place your feet, that comes up and holds your leg comfortably while they scrub the heels and feet. I've never had this before. A very nice job and I was out the door in 45 minutes. I will be back. read more

Decided to give this place another try since I wasn't too happy about my nails the first time. And I'm really glad I did! Thao allowed me to come back so she can fix my nails. Thao was very meticulous and took her time. She was very gentle and also made sure I approved of the size and shape throughout the service. I really appreciate that. You can tell that Thao takes pride in her work and is a very good business owner as she greeted everyone that came in by their name. Teamwork nails is around the corner from me so I was really hoping to have a nice experience and find a great nail salon close by. Unfortunately, this shop is very mediocre. I gave it about three tries, but decided on the last visit that this place isn't a gem. Each visit I was rushed, massages were so 'barely there' you might as well axe that from your list of why you're visiting. As for paint, it's clear two of the six or so gals are okay. On my last visit though, the woman doing my nails was messy clipping my nails (I could have done better myself) and she painted two toe nails before I kindly asked her to stop. She was entirely missing the nail and wiping it with her fingers. She was getting gel all over on my toes, so I asked her to stop before I ended up having hardened gel outside of the nail. When she was 'done' I was left with the sticky base coat for gel polish that she left on, and now I have fuzz sticking to every toe nail after paying $95 at check out. I have a toddler and my husband works most evenings and weekends, so I don't have a lot of time to carve out to get my nails done. This was a supposed to be a treat, and now I'm stuck trying to find time to make it to another salon. This salon can surely step it up quite a bit. read more

I've been seeing Thao for years, she is truly the best. My nails are always shaped perfectly and last a long time. I get a gel manicure and never leave disappointed. to book ahead. I usually get a pedicure as well. I'm not picky about who I see for feet, however Sophie is definitely a favorite. Sophie has done my gel manicure as well and it lasted me 3 and a half weeks, not a single chip. These ladies pay attention to detail and take direction well. If there is a shape you like best be sure to let them know or show them a picture of what you're wanting. I would book before leaving if you're a regular, out of courtesy to the salon. But Thao does get me in on short notice if I need a refresh and forgot. Another thing I love about the salon is they don't take a lot(or any, not sure ) acrylic appointments so theres never any awful smell or dust in the air. I used to come here and loved the teamwork staff. I'm a massage therapist, so hand and arm massage are always needed. Today, nothing. After my dip, they escorted me to the pedi chair. My hands and fingers felt gritty the entire time while receiving my pedi. I thought maybe they would massage my limbs while my toes were drying, but they didn't. l, then, had to ask for a clean towel to wipe down. I'm a little disappointed.
