I decided to go to lavish nails because they had good reviews and it was easy to make an appt online. When I arrived, I was surprised by how messy and unsanitary it looked. I have never seen a salon with so much stuff everywhere. There were nail polishes in boxes stacked on the floor and counter space in the back looked messy and cluttered. My gut feeling almost had me turn around and leave, but I did not want to be rude. I was seated next to the fridge in a pedicure chair. My pedicure was actually really nice. The lady took her time and gave a great massage. I probably would not have taken the time to write a review if I just had the pedicure. My terrible experience was with the nail tech, Simon. I asked for an acrylic fill and asked him for natural looking nails. Half way through, I looked and they were thicker than I like. I asked if they could be thinner and I thought I heard him say mmhmm. When he finished shaping, he showed me them and said he did a curve and that is natural. He stated he was skilled. I did not want to be fussy and now that I look back, I should have said something again because I went home and could not get over how thick my nails were. They looked bubbly and I could not put on my own jewelry on because they were so thick. I convinced myself to go back the next day. I went right when they opened and Simon asked what was wrong and I told him I loved the color and the shape, but my nails were too thick. I was very nice and he told me my nails go up and that is why he had to make them thick. He then said they will break easily once he shaves them down and can't gaurantee them next time. I said, that is fine. (My nails are very sturdy 1.5 weeks later). He begrudgingly filed them down and told me I should never get fake nails if I want them to look natural. I did not respond, but I have had so many fake nails that looked great. He went so fast that my nails have ridges. He did not say bye or anything. The cost for my nail fill and pedi was $120 and I tipped $20 btw. read more

I am writing this review as I sit here in the salon waiting for my polish to dry. My feet are super sensitive lately and I have a toenail growing back but I needed a pedicure so bad, so I headed here because last time i had such a good experience. Once again, my experience was pleasant and I did not feel weird about my special feet. Em was my gal this time. I did however notice one of the male nail techs there somewhat rude to a lady.. had that been me, this review would be very different. So the owner may want to check that. This is a terrible nail salon...don't even bother. I'm surprised the health department hasn't shut it down it is so unsanitary and disorganized. I went there because my regular nail person was on vacation and it was close to my home. I asked for Simon because the reviews were good, mistake. The application of gel polish was thick and sloppy. I started noticing air bubbles and was worried about bacteria. I went back and expressed my concerns to Simon. He shrugged it off and buffed off bubbles and applied two coats gel top coat. Never apologized. Next day bubbles reappeared. Had the gel removed while on vacation. *Nine Days after I had my nails done by Lavish Nails was the first time I could come in...and after researching air bubbles in gel manicures. Not Simon or anyone else ever offered to redo my gel manicure. What Simon did was all I got. A Bad bandaid over his mistake. Did I say anything about cuticles? Although they were neglected as well. And I'm sorry but you need to Clean up your shoppe in more ways than one! read more

My daughter needed a dip fill, when I was checking out the lady told me $65, I Venmo'd $72, then another guy came over and said wait and was asking if it was more money and said full set, I said no she got a fill, how much is the fill and a different man said $50. So they completely ripped me off, over charged me. Ask for pricing before you start your service. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm retracting my previous rating because after giving this place multiple chances, the pattern is clear -- and it's unacceptable. I've come here numerous times with an appointment and yet I'm consistently left waiting while walk-ins, particularly those who are not of the same race as me, are seen immediately. It's hard not to notice the pattern -- especially when it keeps happening. Today was the last straw. I called right when they opened to see if Simon could fix a broken nail. I was told he had a busy morning, so I made an appointment for 12:00 PM. I arrived on time -- no surprise, I wasn't seen until 12:30 PM, and only because I spoke up. In the meantime, Simon took two other clients, neither of whom had appointments. Again -- not the first time this has happened. When someone else finally did fix my nail, she clearly rushed through it and did a terrible job -- why? Because two white clients had just walked in, and it was clear who they prioritized. Let's not pretend like this is a coincidence. To top it off, the last time I got my nails done here, Simon himself told me he'd rather have someone else do my nails. At this point, I've seen enough and felt enough disrespect. Never again. read more

After a disappointing first experience, I decided to give this salon another chance for my birthday. Unfortunately, it was even worse. I came in wanting a deluxe pedicure and an extravagant French-tip style full set with designs and gems, but my requests were repeatedly dismissed. My nails were never properly cleaned, trimmed, or had the cuticles addressed. Uneven clear tips were glued on, the shape was nothing like the long ballerina/almond style I requested, and I ended up with uneven chrome-coated nails that looked nothing like what I asked for. I paid $130 and left in tears. This was supposed to be a special birthday treat, and I was extremely disappointed with both the service and the final result. When I tried to go back and address my concerns, the doors were already locked despite staff still being inside. The lady who did my toes was extremely kind although pregnant with swollen feet and a deluxe pedicure should take more than 20min time to complete thats all the time spent on me read more

Based on reviews I decided to come here. I walked in, asked for a mani, pedi, and underarm wax. An elderly lady sat me in the pedi chair, turned on the water which was freezing cold, then it turned scorching hot. She never checked in on the temp. This was the most lazy, apathetic, uncaring serive I ever had. I wanted to just relax and let her do her thing, but when she did the final coat I looked and their was colored polish on my skin, the polish looks crappy, the nails were unsmooth, and just every part was pathetic. I had to correct her like 4 different times. She never checked in for comfort, preference color etc. Today I woke up in so much pain! It is so red and swollen. Idk what she did to my toe but it does not look OK. Also ambiance sucked, no music or anything. This on refund worthy. Terrible nail techs that don't know what they are doing. I usually go elsewhere but today decided to stay closer to home. I went for an acrylic fill and the lady working filed my nails so harshly that the side of my nails started bleeding. She then goes to blame my skin and that it's dry. She charged extra for cuticle oil. I order the same service every time I go but somehow get charged differently each time. Terrible customer service I was charged twice once and had to call the manager to get a refund and they didn't help me in the store. Would not recommend and respectfully will never step foot in here again. The nail shop is also very dirty as well. read more

I made an appointment for two of us. But they were only able to help one of us. That was fine, but the lack of communication and the poor disposition of the woman helping my mother was uncomfortable. It clearly looked like this nail technician was very unhappy to be either servicing us or to be servicing my mother who is elderly. She was extremely slow, never smiled never talked. Never asked what we wanted or if anything felt OK. we will not go back. Pretty disappointing. It's not hard to smile at people and it's not hard to ask if everything is going OK. **edit after response. Just to clarify. I had my feet in water in one of your pedicure stations. Not sure what you are talking about. I asked for two pedicures and we were both seated and had our feet put in the hot water. I got up and put my shoes on. It's not a big deal about not getting my pedicure as much as the lack of customer service. We felt as if the poor tech was just depressed and not wanting to be helping anyone that day. I've been coming here every 2-3 weeks since the end of December. Everyone is always really nice and welcoming. My techs have been Simon, Lisa and Daisy. While all 3 have been super nice, I do prefer the work of Daisy and Simon because my sets have lasted 3+ weeks. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a nail salon. I've been to this salon 4-5 times and always make an appointment, though each visit they seem surprised I'm there. During my most recent appointment for a gel pedicure and hard gel manicure, my experience was extremely uncomfortable. My pedicure started smoothly, and the technician (I believe his name was Daniel) was kind and professional. However, when the man doing my manicure (I believe his name was Simon) approached, he asked if I wanted tips. I said no, but he still began taking out nail tips. I politely reminded him that I did not want tips, and he abruptly responded, loudly and aggressively, "Yes, I know, no tips!" I then asked him to explain the process because I've had hard gel many times and had never seen it done this way. Instead of simply answering my question, he continued speaking to me in an aggressive, raised tone, saying that "everyone does it different" and insisting he knew I didn't want tips. He was loud enough that the entire salon turned to look, and I felt incredibly uncomfortable as other customers watched him berate me. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. It's unfortunate because the pedicure service was great, but the way I was spoken to during the manicure was unacceptable. read more

Worst manicure! My regular manicurist was on vacation so went here. The pedicure was so so. The manicure was done by a man. He was rough on my nails. Had to jerk my hand away from the dremel multiple times. Did not clean my hands after filing so left powder on my nails when polishing so they are not smooth. The heater to dry nails was dirty inside, gross! He was so rude. I would say worst experience ever. read more

Lee does excellent acrylic! He takes his time and makes sure they're thin and well shaped! Definitely recommend him. The pedicures here, though, are not great. They're priced like a great pedicure and they have all the add-ons, but the people doing the pedicures don't know how to do them. The guy who did mine told me I had to have long toe nails for a French pedicure . That plus they don't actually clean your nails out or do the basic nail care. Finally found a place that is local to my area that is worth every penny! The location is in a shopping plaza which has plenty of parking and a simple right turn into the plaza you find them. Called in to see if they had time for a today for a full set and a spa pedicure. And kindly greeted over the phone and was offered to come soon as they were ready in a view mins with other clients. 15min later I drove up and walked in to a warm environment. I let them know I called and was seated in a spa chair to wait until one of the artists were ready. The water was started and I'm not a hot water pedicure person so when the water was lukewarm and more to the cooler side in this heat I was able to relax. Opted greeting tea pedicure with gel polish, and it was incredibly relaxing. The wax was hot enough for my feet to just enjoy and the scrub was so relaxing as I've been recovering from working out too many days in a row to finish off with the hot stone massage my legs and feet or in heaven Once another artist was able to clear his seat, we were able to get my full set done. I was originally supposed to look into dip powder or gel X as I've done them before, but I took his recommendation with going out with acrylics as I do work in a bar and I also Work out with heavy weights, so I'm leaving it to faith. My nails turned out beautiful exactly what I wanted more natural than anything with a slight bit more length and more of a rounded oval shape versus the square oval and coffin shape. I will be back to see them again as I probably found my new location since I've moved here. Absolutely reasonable pricing for the amount of work that they do in the detail that they put into working with you is wonderful . I didn't feel rushed. Two have already chipped. My pedicure was decent, but the tech never asked what kind of pedicure I wanted to a I had to ask for a paraffin dip at the end.
