I asked "this looks good to you?" She said just top coat --- over lumpy polish?? Not

removal of dip mani for a reg basic mani along with a basic pedi. The lady doing the pedi insisted I put feet in basin before she added cold water. (Water was hot!!) then started cleaning around nails etc, pulling the skin /cuticles so much they started bleeding. She continued on.... Then the manicure began and that lady started removing the dip polish with the buffer - which should be done carefully IYKUK - she buffer more than necessary and I said you need to talk to each other because she's using a buffer! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was at this time the pedicure lady ( I don't understand the language but I understand when someone is speaking about me in any language) she said to the manicure lady something to the extent off "too hot too cold " she was rubbing feet with hot HOT stones![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Now the manicure lady tells me my pinky nail so thin- well yeah, you just buffered it down!! This picture was what I took as soon as she told me she was just waiting to do top coat!! I asked her "this looks good to you?" She said something about top coat - at this point I wanted out! What do I owe you, I'll pay and I'm out!! What's most upsetting- this is my usual PLACE and although I have never expected perfection from them, I did expect to be treated a tad bit better than I was today. And with this, I just won't be back. Toes never got a top coat btw.

I really enjoyed my experience here with Tracy! She knows what she is doing, makes me relaxed and is super sweet. The place is very clean with a calm and atmosphere. I shop in the plaza often and they take me when I come by.

They always take thoughtful care of their customers and meet every need while you're there (peaceful atmosphere, massage chairs, snacks & water, cozy vibes). They make sure to do my nails exactly how I like them every time, no matter who does them. It's honestly such a lovely treat for me every time I come in.

So glad to have found this spot! Was able to squeeze in some "me time" during my son's music lesson, in the same shopping center. They got me right in for a standard pedicure, which included a scrub, massage, and warm stone massage. Pedicure turned out great. I'll be back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Elite owners and employees are the best.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They go the extra mile. Very difficult to find that quality and professionalism in this day and age. I was out of town. My, 90 year old,husband was home and had a problem with his toenail, he was in a lot of pain. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I called and finally got a hold of the owner, which was on vacation. And the owner called in an employee to see my husband and they had him come down immediately.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] And by that afternoon, he was so much better they go the extra mile. read more

Dirty. Cut my toe badly. Wouldn't listen to me. Did the wrong color on my nails (asked for black many many times and she started painting them purple). Shortest massage ever. I can't say a single good thing about this place and they still charged me full price. I rarely ever write bad reviews but this place was awful. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I came in and asked for gel removal on 1 toe nail on each foot, then to just clean up. I made it clear I had only 20 mins.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Then they filled up the tub with water, did what I asked, brought out stones, massage my feet with oil. 20 mins was up and I asked how much I owe you. She said 40.00, I said 40.00 to have 2 nail gel removals, and a clean up. They said they gave me full pedicure. I said I thought a full pedi was a hour, they said but you had 20 mins. ugliest nails looked like a kid did them did not listen to my suggestions huge on my nails looked big ass press ons couldnt even do simple white nails this was the manager too there so UGLY idk how the reviews are good these are the ugliest fucking nails ever dont come here unless u want lumpy big ahh nails they where 130 too and kept forcing me to get gel went i didn't over charged read more

I had an amazing experience with Lisa at Elite Nail Salon! She did the serum spa pedicure, and it was absolutely fantastic. She took her time and was so thorough, making sure every detail was perfect. My feet felt so much better afterward soft, refreshed, and completely rejuvenated. My usual salon cancelled last minute so was driving past and came here. They were surprisingly busy for 3pm on a Friday. Mostly elderly customers. My pedicure was 30m with very little done, so disappointed. I won't be back. It was also considerably more expensive for a basic pedi. read more

At $65 + tip, the pedicure + manicure (shiny buff), with the massage were quite good (really depends on the technician, as usual). I didn't get the impression that they were going to open a fresh sanitized nail kit unless you insisted, so I'd recommend that folks definitely insist on sanitized nail equipment, *always*. It is 2024, and troubling to see how many customers have no notion of sanitized nail equipment. I didn't care for the decor, it looked cluttered and outdated, and definitely not ventilated enough. Probably because they have way too many chairs crammed into the space. It is a cookie-cutter Walnut Creek nail salon, not too bad and not too great. read more

With this being said I will not go anywhere else but with Katie. I live in el cerrito so it is a drive and with traffic can take over an hr but she is so worth it. Her space is always clean the having slight ice this puts me at ease. The wax is always top quality and never once over a dozen times too hot or caused any irritation. She is also extremely kind and works at a speed I don't feel rushed but it is fast I can get in and out writhing 30 min if I don't chat her ear off too much. Her booking system is easy but I find it best to reschedule ahead to get my desired appointment she books out. If you are new to waxing or a seasoned waxed looking for a fabulous wax Katie is your girl. I appreciate her making a service that can be scary and painful as painless as possible. I hate to have to even write this, but this experience was so bad that I feel like I have to help them. I regret to say that my experience at Elite Nail Spa was extremely disappointing. From the moment I walked in, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the place. The environment felt unclean, making me worry about potential fungal or bacterial infections. The customer service was lacking. The water for my foot soak was initially scalding hot, and when I mentioned it, they turned it to freezing cold instead of finding a comfortable temperature. During the stone massage, I was burned again, adding to my discomfort. The pedicure itself was bizarre and poorly executed. The technician focused only on massaging my right shin, neglecting my feet entirely. It felt unprofessional and careless. It was clear that the staff did not care about providing a quality service, and it seemed like the entire business lacked passion for what they do. I have been getting full leg waxes/brazilians from Tracy since she was in Berkeley, and now I go all the way to Walnut Creek because she's amazing! She really takes her time and is as gentle as someone can be conducting such a procedure, and I've been other places that are really rough and don't do a good job. Her husband Johnny is a lovely man, very friendly and helpful. They recently remodeled the salon and it looks very nice. There are 8 manicure stations and 9 pedicure chairs with massage controls. I have been coming here for over 20 years. The service is great and they've recently remodeled. Lee always accommodates me even when I am last minute. The owner Johnny is also very helpful and they know me by name. If I walk in and they can't take me right away they make space for me.
