Amanda has several other aesthetic services . I haven't tried them out, but might in the future , as she's very detail oriented and a great listener. WOW. I went to Amanda for my 2nd Brazilian ever and will definitely be returning. Her communication, customer service, and personable skills were soooo great! I live in the area so it's an easy place to get to, but if you're coming into Walnut Creek just to visit her, there is a parking garage directly across from her business on the North end of Locust so again very easily situated downtown. She is amazing. The location is in the back room of a restaurant (when looking from the street, it's door to the left of Massimo's main entrance). There is a placard on the door. Amanda was quick to respond to my texts and even waited outside to make sure I knew where to go. She made sure to get me water because it was scorching hot outside. The room is on the smaller side but don't let that make you think that Amanda and her business are not amazing. She's very hygienic (wears gloves and doesn't reuse the wax or wax sticks). She is very sweet and mellow, which is great for someone like me who doesn't do too many waxes often. Her prices are VERY reasonable and I will definitely be going back again! I just had my first experience with Amanda and it was amazing! I would definitely recommend her to my friends. She works on Saturdays, is conveniently located in Downtown WC and was waiting outside for me when I arrived. :) I got a Brazilian, underarm and lower leg wax for a really great price and it was as close to painless as can be (and I hardly ever say that about Brazilians). I just visited Amanda for the first time for a Brazilian. Best wax I have ever had! She is very thorough, quick, yet gentle. She is very personable and accommodating. I first met Amanda at 77 Maiden Lane Spa in SF around 2008. Her "bedside manner" and her magical touch won me over then. Seriously. I asked for her card/number, since she is from the east bay. And I've been hooked on her ever since. I've gone to Amanda for waxing, eyebrow tints, and facials since then. I've sent my mom to her, who now goes in regularly and can't stop raving about her. Amanda has the most incredible hands. I've never had extractions be so painLESS. She's knowledgeable in all skin issues, and gives great advice, if you ask. She also doesn't push to sell anything! Amanda is probably the only person I trust with my brows. She is phenomenal! The salon itself is nice, and her room in the back is so relaxing and comfortable. She makes really good conversation, is so funny, and can literally fix any brow problem. A few months ago I tried to do my brows on my own because I didn't have time to come in, and I completely messed up (no surprise there), and Amanda somehow managed to make it look normal. AMAZING. I've been going to Amanda for waxing for 7 years. I also treat myself to a facial every once in awhile. I don't know what the best part of her facial is because I kept thinking to myself today, "OMG what is happening right now? This feels fabulous!" Amanda's face, neck, shoulder, hand, and foot massages are right up there with my other favorite parts of a facial. My skin looks and feels wonderful! At my last facial, Amanda gave me some tips to help my dry skin (I didn't even know I had dry skin). This was by far my best wax that I've ever had! I was so nervous and she made this the most seamless process ever! For someone who has gotten waxes for about 5 years this was the best wax that I've had. She uses soft wax and executes perfectly. She uses the soft wax so that the process pulls out more hair.
