My girlfriend and I popped in on a Sunday to make a pedicure appointment for each of us either Monday or Tuesday.
There was no one inside getting treatments, so we were invited to stay now. We said we weren't dressed for them and needed to make appointments.
We were told tomorrow what time- we picked 10, and were told, no, booked.
Ok 11? They said yes. We arrived a bit before 11, but were told they weren't ready and to come back. We should have taken this as a sign and cancelled.
We walked to the store next door for a few minutes, but made sure to be back at 11. We had a lot of other appointments that day, and were trying to stay on track
After our appointment time they put us in the massage chairs. Less than 1/2 of them have working massage controls. My friend's was wishing a remote.
We brought the remote to their attention and asked if she could sit on the other side of me. We were told no, that one was broken too. The first time they turned the chair on manually for my friend, but once that cycle ended, they didn't restart it for her.
They gave us a menu to pick our treatment, we both picked reflexology. Don't bother, this was not reflexology, it wasn't even a decent massage for either of us.
When my girl was looking at my feet she said she would scrub my calluses on my heels. She did not say this was an up-charge- the other lady was working on my friend's heels as well with no mention of the heels or up-charge
This pedicure took the longest ever- my back was killing me and I needed to get up and stretch my low back and SI joint
Nothing relaxing about this pedicure at all- my friend and I were getting extremely stressed about how long it was taking.
We had to call other appointments we had made and move or cancel them all together
My girl said oh you very busy today- yes we are. That's why we made an appointment, so we could try and get everything done efficiently.
My friend was done about 15 minutes before me- thinking the add on heel treatment that I didn't agree to
They don't have a drying machine- just told us to wait 10 minutes before we left.
Over an hour later- after we finished lunch even we both put in socks and shoes
We'll neither of our pedicures were completely dry- so be both ruined our big toes on each food.
Completely moved the polish down to the nail on mine.
We did not go back to have them fixed- we didnt have time for that. Just the frustration of subpar treatment
My friend was told $50 for hers plus an upcharge to use a credit card
I was told $75 because of heel treatment... this is a joke- there wasn't $15 improvement- and they never said there was an additional charge.
I didn't want to delay us any longer.
I just paid and we left- but knowing even before our big tows smeared we would find a new place next month. read more
