Best nail salon by far! Have been coming here for several years, and couldn't be happier! Came first to try dip powder after doing gel for years, and highly recommend! It lasts twice as long, and WAY healthier for your nails! I go 3-4 weeks between appts and my nails have never been so strong (and long!) since I started doing Dip. Not every nail salon knows how to do it correctly, and can look too thick, but Puffin Nails everyone there is great at it! I will never go back to Gel!! I see Lily for dip, who I absolutely love! She's amazing! And Cindy sometimes, and others also, they are all great at it and do an exceptional job! Eric, the owner is so nice! Accommodating and great customer service! The salon is super cute, and has a very friendly vibe. I usually do my own pedi at home, but they recently updated their pedi stations/chairs, and had to try... they are awesome! I've had a few nail technicians and they are all excellent but the one that stuck with me the most was Qwueenie (I hope I'm spelling that correctly). She did my pedicure and it felt like I got a new set of feet! Not only is she talented but she's super sweet. She wants you to feel comfortable and wants you to have a great nail experience. Called to make an appt yesterday and told the guy on the phone, "I'd like to remove my gel x and get builder gel" he said ok and scheduled me in. When I came in and sat with my technician, I said the same thing, "I have gel x, but I want to take it off and do builder gel" she said "gel x?" And I said "yes, that's what I have now. I want to take it off and do builder gel" She agreed and got started on the removal. Things were... fine. She was on the phone a few times and clearly distracted, which was fine, we have our days. However, after removing my nails, she pulled out the gel x extensions. I reminded her I'm doing builder gel. She made a face and sighed and huffed and got the necessary materials for builder gel. After this her demeanor completely changed. She was more aggressive with me, and didn't do a very good job on my nails. When the front desk guy came over to check on us, she clearly was venting about the fact that she had to do builder gel (she used the words builder gel and gel x, looked very annoyed) I get she may have had somewhere to be, and didn't like that she had to put in more work and time, but that's not my fault at all. I didn't feel comfortable that there was miscommunication on their end and she took it out on me. No apology, aggressive with my nails, and didn't even do a good job. By the end I just wanted to get out of there. This was my first and last time here. read more

I absolutely adore this nail salon. Great location, neat, clean, and has a fun relaxing vibe. Since moving to the area, I've visited a handful of times for a polish manicure and have committed to gel about six months ago after finding Queeni. She is incredibly meticulously, clean, and focused in her work and I'm "boring" in my asks (mostly neutrals, with occasional French and bright colors for the holidays). She's also gotten me out of my comfort zone by recommending cat eye, ombré, and chrome but in the neutrals I love.
