This review is not for the owner- rather one particular worker. I have been coming to URS Threading for many years and have visited all of their locations. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review for this location (my 5th time here). I arrived at around 6:40 p.m. (the salon closes at 7:00 p.m.). A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

I've had such a great experience here that I felt like I had to leave a review!…read more I've had my eyebrows threaded by both Reet and Neha, and they are both amazing. They're gentle, incredibly detail-oriented, and always leave my brows looking clean, natural, and perfectly shaped. I never feel rushed, and they consistently do such beautiful work. I've also had my hair done by Pam, and I can't recommend her enough! She's so talented, takes the time to listen to what I want, and always makes me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I leave feeling refreshed and so happy with my hair every time. Beyond the services themselves, everyone here is genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It's rare to find a place where every person you've worked with is consistently excellent, but this studio truly has an amazing team. I highly recommend them and will definitely keep coming back!

I brought my sister with me for the first time, but I didn't love how my eyebrows turned out, so I wasn't planning to tip. When it was time to pay, I was charged $17.54 and was never given an option to select a tip. I was confused but paid anyway. My sister got the same service and was only charged $12.99, so I asked why mine was $17.54. She went through the transactions on her machine and said it was the tip. I told her I was never given the option to even select a tip. Then, in front of my sister, she said, "Yeah, I was confused too because you never tip." I was a little taken aback. Not only was that a very unprofessional comment to make in front of another customer, but I was also somewhat offended because I tip nearly every time I visit. I would have gotten over being accidentally overcharged this time, but being told that I "never tip" as a longtime customer left a sour taste in my mouth and made me never want to come back. I don't see how I could maintain a good relationship with this business after hearing something like that.

When I returned and reached out again, she pressed me repeatedly about whether I had already seen her before. I explained that I hadn't, since her June time via our text didn't work, but she kept harping on it. Then it became hard to schedule her and I had to send follow up text message. I thought the issue had been resolved, but when I arrived at her studio, she brought up the same question again and kept harping on it. I finally had to shut it down by suggesting she check my Groupon account to confirm. The only brief conversation we had was her asking how far I lived from the studio and telling me to text her when I was ready to book my next appointment. I also noticed she seemed very reluctant to assist with the placement of my finger during the threading, almost as if she found it unpleasant to touch me or to spend more time explaining to me. I've never experienced this before. In the end, we just let my finger be in imperfect positions while she threaded carelessly. The threading itself felt extremely rushed and turned out uneven. I didn't say anything at the time because I just wanted to get out of there--she made me so uncomfortable that I felt my whole body tense up. I still left a tip out of courtesy, but I will not be returning.
