I've been coming here for over a year, and the eyebrow threading service is listed at $12.99. I almost always end up paying around $15-$16 because I tip on most visits, usually around 25%. I brought my sister with me for the first time, but I didn't love how my eyebrows turned out, so I wasn't planning to tip. When it was time to pay, I was charged $17.54 and was never given an option to select a tip. I was confused but paid anyway. My sister got the same service and was only charged $12.99, so I asked why mine was $17.54. She went through the transactions on her machine and said it was the tip. I told her I was never given the option to even select a tip. Then, in front of my sister, she said, "Yeah, I was confused too because you never tip." I was a little taken aback. Not only was that a very unprofessional comment to make in front of another customer, but I was also somewhat offended because I tip nearly every time I visit. I would have gotten over being accidentally overcharged this time, but being told that I "never tip" as a longtime customer left a sour taste in my mouth and made me never want to come back. I absolutely love going to urs threading. I can always can count on suneeta to do my eyebrows perfectly. I have really fragile I lids and overall just fragile and suneeta knows that I cannot handle the pain so she gets my brows done fast and well down. I've been going to her for about 7 years and I literally won't go anywhere else which means if I can't make it out to see her, my eyebrows will be fully grown out. You can make an appointment if you want to be in and out but they always take walk-ins. The wait time isn't usually that long and on the weekends there are multiple girls working. Very disappointed. Got in the chair, asked " eyebrow clean up. Please don't touch the tails because they don't grow back ". The lady said " ok ". The first time she gave me the mirror is when she was done... and my tails were gone ! So I told her just that. To which she responded " but otherwise they wouldn't be structured " and asked me to swipe my card. No offense, but I feel like she should respect the (only) customer's request. Or at least maybe check In with the customer while she's doing it. Furthermore, they're thinner than I ever had them. So that seems overthred for just a clean up. This is my go to places to get my eyebrows threaded. One, always easy to get an appointment. Two, they always do a great job. And three, they are affordable. Usually, before shelter in place orders, I was able to walk in and be seen pretty quickly. If anything there was maybe a 10 or so minute wait before they could see me. Now, with shelter in place orders I suggest making an appointment first just so you don't have to wait and less foot traffic. During shelter in place it was easy to make an appointment. Urs Threading makes reshaping my brows quick, convenient, and relatively painless! I've had my brows done twice by two different employees and had pleasant experiences each time. No small talk, just fast service. You can expect to be seated quickly (I've never made an appointment) in their reclining seats, threaded in 5 minutes or less, then treated with some skin-soothing lotion. Was looking for a place to get my eye brows done because I don't trust ANYONE going anywhere near my eye brows and since I had grown them out for some time I decided to give Urs Threading a try since they had such great ratings. I went to the pleasant hill location and was helped by a wonderful lady which I believe was the owner. She took a total of maybe 5 minutes and once done, trimmed my eye brows a bit as well and applied some soothing lotion. My skin felt so soft and my eye brows came out looking just how I had envisioned they would! Definitely will be coming back! My mom and I were looking for a threading place through Groupon and this place offered a discount! The place is a little hard to find, but only because we had no idea this place existed haha. It looks pretty new and it's actually big inside! They give mani/pedis and the chairs are huge and look so comfy. My mom and I were the only ones there however so that was a little odd. We got our upper lips and eyebrows reshaped and the woman was very sweet and talented! She was fast, and we even booked our next appointment! The nice thing about this place is that it's close to practically everything - the mall, food, etc. So you can have a day of shopping and then get your brows done! Overall: Get threaded here! They have two locations, one in Pleasant hill literally across the street from the Sun Valley mall and the other one at Concord literally across from the Park n Shop plaza. Very bad service, I told the lady I just want to clean my eyebrows, and she did just the opposite, make it a fine line of my thick eyebrow. She was trying to do a better job with the second brow, and the results, very different eyebrows. I never asked for arch just to clean it up. It was very painful and fast service, she was with me around 2 min. She broke the skin several times in both brows. I'm not coming with her again. Very impolite, she didn't say anything except about the pay time. I'm going to try with another person and let's see if I have a better luck. read more
