They're gentle, incredibly detail-oriented, and always leave my brows looking clean, natural, and perfectly shaped. I never feel rushed, and they consistently do such beautiful work. I've also had my hair done by Pam, and I can't recommend her enough! She's so talented, takes the time to listen to what I want, and always makes me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I leave feeling refreshed and so happy with my hair every time. Beyond the services themselves, everyone here is genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I came here for eyebrow threading because the reviews looked really good. However, I've been here twice and I feel like they miss major hairs each time. I bring it up to the tech and after they fix it there are still hairs left. I usually have to go home and tweeze after when coming here. read more

I have been to this location twice for eyebrow threading and both times I have been very happy with the results! Quick, clean and precise work, walk-ins welcome, and a short wait. I prefer threading to waxing for my eyebrows & sensitive skin, and they always do a great job at Urs Threading. Shop is clean and chairs are comfortable. Reet who works here is an impressive technician. Her technique is completely non-abrasive and thorough. They also seem to bring in these other temporary technicians on occasion who have been equally impressive. There aren't very many threading shops in Walnut Creek, and this place seems to get the job done. They however NEED to wipe down those chairs/sanitize them after each customer. Really, it is a basic expectation with the kind of traffic they seem to get. Another suggestion for them is to stop shoving that obnoxious tipping screen in front of the customer with a minimum of 25%. Goes all the way up to 45%, I think. It says greedy to me, and is not a good look. I'd think that a customer who is genuinely excited for their work will reward them well, but they need to be discreet about it. read more

I called today and spoke with a very nice woman. I'm assuming this is the owner. I asked if it was a good idea to bring my 12 year old in to get her eyebrows cleaned up, for the first time. The owner was so sweet and gentle with me, and told me that she does a lot of tweens/teens. She also told me that threading can be painful the first time, so it's up to my daughter's pain tolerance. She even suggested to bring my daughter in to give it a try, and if it was a no go, she would not charge me. What a kind lady and gesture. She really took the time with me, and wanted to make us as comfortable as possible. This really speaks volumes for the business. read more

I stumbled upon Urs Threading in Walnut Creek (there's another Urs Threading location outside of Walnut Creek but Walnut Creek is the ONLY location handles waxing!) while on the hunt for a new wax guru. Trust me, it isn't easy entrusting your skin to just anybody. But from the moment I met the shop's owner, Neha, I knew I had come to the right place. First off, let's talk affordability. I had been paying $90 for a Brazilian at my last spot, and Neha's got you, all for just $55. She took the time to teach me about why it's so important to only use hard wax on sensitive areas, even though my prior ladies had been using the soft stuff--that's a no-no! I went here since the reviews were good. So dissatisfied. They left my eyebrows so uneven, and the lady did them in less than 5 mins. She clearly did not care and now my eyebrows look like shit. I wish I didn't try a new place, if u want someone to actually take good care of your brows and even care in the slightest don't come here. I had time between practice and my brows needed a quick cleanup. I don't really go into the whole shaping or brow lamination thing because I prefer to keep it pretty natural. I forgot who did my brows, but she managed to make sure to clean up my arches and took some hairs off the top. So my brows look pretty natural, but I may still need a clear brow gel to tame one piece of hair that seems to stick out. Threading was more painless than the other places I've gone to. Because it was a clean up, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Aloe is provided for cooling after your threading. Cash discounts seem to be available, as it was $15 for my brows. They also have a stamp card after 10 visits. They're in the plaza next to Trader Joe's, across from the Kaiser parking lot. Cons: Paid parking. read more

She had another girl getting her eyebrows tinted, so while that was processing she told me to take a seat so she could work on my eyebrows in the meantime. She rushed the entire time, my entire service for eyebrows and upper lip took 6 minutes. And because she was rushing my eyebrows are now uneven. For $25, I don't think a 6 minute service is worth paying for. read more
