They're gentle, incredibly detail-oriented, and always leave my brows looking clean, natural, and perfectly shaped. I never feel rushed, and they consistently do such beautiful work. I've also had my hair done by Pam, and I can't recommend her enough! She's so talented, takes the time to listen to what I want, and always makes me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I leave feeling refreshed and so happy with my hair every time. Beyond the services themselves, everyone here is genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. It's rare to find a place where every person you've worked with is consistently excellent, but this studio truly has an amazing team. I highly recommend them and will definitely keep coming back!

Edit- I mistakenly reviewed the wrong address. The incident…read morehappened at the Pleasant Hill location, which is at the border of Concord. Sorry about that! This review is not for the owner- rather one particular worker. I have been coming to URS Threading for many years and have visited all of their locations. This is the first time I've felt the need to leave a negative review for this location (my 5th time here). I arrived at around 6:40 p.m. (the salon closes at 7:00 p.m.). A broad-built Indian woman at the front desk said she would do my threading. I asked her to start with my upper lip, and it was noticeably painful from the beginning, though I didn't say anything. What really concerned me was that she brought the thread inside my nostril while threading my upper lip. I immediately winced in pain. In all the years I've been getting threaded, this has never happened before. It felt very unprofessional and made me question her experience. She has no communication skills at all. The people who have helped me previously in this location were all nice. I told her what had happened and left immediately without completing the service. Based on my experience, I would not trust her with threading. Very unprofessional and unapologetic.

I went here once and my lashes turned out good. Average quality and the lashes lasted the normal…read moreamount. I think my lash tech was professional and did a good job. It's their cancellation policy and front desk that made me not want to go back. I think a deposit being forfeited for a cancellation within 24 hours is reasonable. But paying for the entire service when you have to cancel within 24 hours of service seems excessive, and contradicts their own reservation confirmation email. Secondly, I've only gone once, but have made 3 different appointments. The first appointment time was switched to a different time and I made it work and got a full set. The second appointment was cancelled by the salon the day before. The third appointment, they reached out twice the week of to ask if I could come in earlier. The first time, they switched it and sent a confirmation email for the new time with a text asking if it worked. I figured I'd rush over after work to make the earlier time work and not make it a big deal. The second time they reached out (a few days later), I said I couldn't push it to even earlier- at that point they were asking me to come in at 3 or 4 pm when I had originally picked a 7pm appt on a weeknight. Since they were asking me to switch times again, I told them we could just do a different day. They said that would mean I'd pay for the service I wouldn't receive today. I said I'd show up at 6:30, the time they assigned me, but I thought that their policy is strange. They texted back thanking me for understanding and then asking if I had time to talk about a membership... It all felt like poor customer service and general apathy or lack of awareness. But then they called to tell me that they were attempting to charge me because no one can do check outs after 6pm. They had tried to charge my cancelled card multiple times already before resorting to calling me for a card number. If they're going to charge prior to an appointment and then rush you for a card number, they should mention that when you book- or they could have on one of their multiple calls to ask me to reschedule. Telling me as I'm trying to rush to finish at work and the. acting like it's my issue that they do not have staff available to take care payments during their advertised operating hours was strange. I don't know. This is the first review I've left for a business that isn't 5 stars because the whole experience communicating with their receptionists has been frustrating. The lash tech was fine. Just the operation that seems poorly run.

When I returned and reached out again, she pressed me repeatedly about whether I had already seen her before. I explained that I hadn't, since her June time via our text didn't work, but she kept harping on it. Then it became hard to schedule her and I had to send follow up text message. I thought the issue had been resolved, but when I arrived at her studio, she brought up the same question again and kept harping on it. I finally had to shut it down by suggesting she check my Groupon account to confirm. The only brief conversation we had was her asking how far I lived from the studio and telling me to text her when I was ready to book my next appointment. I also noticed she seemed very reluctant to assist with the placement of my finger during the threading, almost as if she found it unpleasant to touch me or to spend more time explaining to me. I've never experienced this before. In the end, we just let my finger be in imperfect positions while she threaded carelessly. The threading itself felt extremely rushed and turned out uneven. I didn't say anything at the time because I just wanted to get out of there--she made me so uncomfortable that I felt my whole body tense up. I still left a tip out of courtesy, but I will not be returning.

But Samira reassured me that they'd look like what I showed from my personal photos lol. Tattooing was super easy, not painful at all compared to my actual tattoos. It just feels like a light scratch, like if you accidentally rubbed against the edge of a plastic soda cup lid (??? IDK how to describe this pain level lmao I hope this helps anyone out there) The first follow-up after a few weeks was a part of the initial payment, which focused on filling in any parts where any ink may have fallen out or healed incorrectly. The final result was symmetrical, evenly colored, and extremely natural. I love having brows without makeup :3 Thank you so much to Samira!!!
