Went there March 25th, 10 am. I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time going there but the photos are very clear to what they did to my nails. After complaining that my nails look REALLY bad and i would have done a better job at home they gave me a 10$ discount and another technician fixed it after spending 1.5 hour with the first technician who obviously did an awful job. Two hours after, my gel manicure started to get BLACK. Seriously black,,, after googling it turned out that the problem is with their Gel manicure that they used on me. Note - cash only salon! Hanna did an amazing job fixing my nails. I had to remove nail extensions from another salon, put acrylic on, and change the nail length. She did all these at an amazing speed. The salon gets busy easily so once you find your fave nail technician book in advance as walk in appointments might not be available. I got in right away without an appointment. The television is OFF, which is a huge deal for me; it's nice and quiet. The employees are not talking to each other, which is also peaceful. They have more than enough color choices too. $30 for a basic pedi; I paid $45 for extra massage and a sugar rub. read more

Hannah is AMAZING! She is quick, but also super precise in getting the shape and color you want. You can show her any color and she is amazing at matching it! Honestly, the best nail technician I've ever had in my 20+ yeees of getting my nails done. I just moved home and wouldn't go ANYWHERE else but to Henry for my nails. I love that he completes a new set in 30 min and a fill in 25-30. He's so efficient! The hand and foot massages are great, and the pedicures and manicures are done well. But to me, it is more important that their tools are adequately sterilized. Adequate sanitization of the tools used at these nail salons cannot be emphasized enough, but not a single customer seems to inquire - go figure. Oftentimes the technicians here also seem to slide on that aspect, even though it is obvious that each one of them is really experienced. Not sure - I'll probably hold off on returning to this salon in the near future, for that reason. read more

It was nice that Olympic opens earlier than the rest of of the shops in the area. I was in the area and needed a pedi and noticed while at a nearby business they they were opened already at 9am. From the outside it looks really small and I thought for sure there would only be one or two people working and I would have a lengthy wait. To my surprise when I walked in I was taken immediately to a chair. Nice chairs, friendly people. I wish I would have taken a closer look at my toes before leaving. Having returned today, after my 1.5hr drive to get here, I sit in my massage chair with my calves and feet being honored with an exquisite massage and reflect upon the convo I just had with a lovely woman, Jennifer, who was getting her pedicure next to me. Jennifer has just today dealt with a life changing event which coincidentally is very salient to my own life. One, meets the most interesting, friendly, engaging women at Olympic Nails. The clientele obviously are as notable as the services here are. It is a hot record breaking Tues in mid June, every salon chair and waiting area seat is filled and I have heard NO ONE turned away. Some may walk away because they may have a slight wait, but none are refused service. To me this is practically unheard of in the beauty service industry. Oh how I love Henry and all the ladies. I feel like Norm from cheers every time I go there. They treat their loyal customers like gold. Henry does the best acrylic nails and I love that I can get a shoulder massage while my nails are being done. I go every three weeks and it makes this mama of four feel like I'm at a spa. I've been going here for 7 years and love it. Today I told Henry I had no idea what color I wanted and told him to decide. This is what I got. Chrome white with one sparkly nail. I have been going to Olympic Nails for years and have always had an excellent experience! My go-to for nails is Amy - she does amazing work! She is the sweetest person and so is everyone else in the salon. My go-to for pedicure is Cindy, but truthfully, they are all excellent! Cindy also gives a great neck massage which I have her do while getting my nails done. A few weeks ago I saw one of the top 3 Warriors players chillin in a massage chair while getting a pedi. I've contemplated finding a new place but who has time for that? Well, I had my last bad customer service experience. Made an appointment and saw I was running late. With plenty of time, I called and rescheduled. When I arrived with my daughter, they began to berate me until my manicurist realized from her coworker the message did not get relayed to her. They exchanged words before turning to me to "fit me in and do the best she can." No thanks! I'm done!! So disappointed. I checked customer reviews here and made appointment with Henry. He started nagging that since I haven't done them with him before he wants to take them off And do the job again. As you see in the pictures my nails are not even and he damaged my own nails underneath the acrylic. He was so fast and just trying to finish the job. At the end he charged me extra. I was paying 20$ for filling at two other salons and he charged me 30$! I don't recommend at all and please don't go for the wrong advertising that people do, that Henry is awesome. It's just BS! This place is fantastic! Henry does my acrylics and every time my nails look so beautiful. I usually come in with a picture of what I want to do, and he always has the best ideas to make them look even better. He's also incredibly efficient, professional and fun, as are all of the employees. I also love getting the lavender salt scrub foot treatment while I get my pedicures. One of the best parts of my visits is Gracy's amazing neck and shoulder massage. Even while I'm getting my mani pedi done, I'm more relaxed than after getting a full body massage at a salon. Their rates are low and they can always fit me in when I call. I can't say enough great things about them. read more

After years of waiting at least 20 minutes for my nail tech while she ran late, I started scheduling the first morning appointment so I wouldn't have to wait as long for her to finish up with other clients. One morning I overslept and missed an appointment. When I called to apologize and reschedule Hannah rudly explained how her time was more valuable than mine and wouldn't make me a new appointment. This place has really gone down hill. It used to be the best. Henry and Jimmy did the best nails in town. The nails are still decent, they're just not worth the the horrible service. read more

I love the nails and unlike many other sets i've gotten she managed to fully cover my nail without touching my cuticles instead of intentionally not coving my whole nail making them need a touch up sooner. TLDR: Pros: lots of chairs, cheap for the area Cons: too long of a wait, too many customers vs. staff, 3 people worked on me, cash only, not a great mani Had a bad experience... went because a friend recommended it. Was maybe 8 minutes late for my appointment at 4:30pm today (Friday). Sat and waited for over 30 minutes as people who came in after me were helped almost immediately. Finally someone started on me - I was there for an acrylic full set with gel. This was 1 of 3 people who touched my hands during my visit. The first lady put the acrylic on, then asked me to go back to the waiting seats (like I was not already just sitting there) and I proceeded to wait another 15-20 minutes. I wanted to leave so bad but I had already committed. Finally a second/different lady called me over and shaped my nails. The shape was not great or symmetrical between my two hands. Not too soon after they move me to a new chair, without brushing all the acrylic dust and a third/different lady painted my nails. The paint was far from the nail beds and just sloppy, without the tips being capped off. The dust was under the nails she painted. I was just so irritated. At this point I've already been in the nail place for an hour and a half... they didn't even end up dusting off my hands even after the manicure was done. I've never spent that long in any nail shop, ever, and I only had a mani... if you look around and observe, they are literally trying to churn out as many customers as possible. Great, I'm all for being fast. But I felt like no one actually gave 2 craps about me or my nail quality. It was hilarious to me, the third lady painting my nails was doing 3 people at once! (Including me). Not a spa feel at all. It was like hot potato, but not fast in my case. This place only accepts cash, and my acrylic full set with gel was $40. I'd recommend paying just a little bit more to go to other nail shops in Walnut Creek that take better care of you and do everything 1000 better. I'm sorry. I had such high hopes. read more

Excellent spot for manicures & pedicures. I've been going for many years. Typically I see Amy for manicures and have been happy with the pedis from many of the technicians. They offer natural nails, gel, dip powder and you can tell they really focus on making the client happy. It is my boyfriends moms birthday and she has never had a pedicure. had an appointment for 3 pedicures and one dip. I even requested that it would be possible to get my nails done the same time as pedicure so we could all leave together. Henry started on my nails and then took off to someone else, not a word to me. I just visited this salon for the first time. I paid $65 for a manicure & pedicure, paying extra for the "chrome" gel nails. My gel manicures typically last 3 weeks when I go to my usual salon, but after only 3 days they are chipping and peeling on the ends. This place also has inadequate ventilation and I found it very difficult to breathe in there. Also, they are CASH ONLY (who carries $75 cash in their purse?). Ridiculous. Overpriced. Waste of money. I will go back to my old salon who only charges $45 for a gel manicure that will last 3 weeks, not 3 days. read more
