I am so glad I found this place for my wedding nails! I came here with a group of 5 family members and all of us left with the most amazing mani/pedis. I chose this place because it had more affordable prices compared to other salons in the area, but the quality is definitely not compromised. Helen was so sweet and attentive, and we had a great time chatting with her. This was the best place for our wedding crew to get pampered. This place is seriously the best! Everyone's service is great, but I have a favorite (Ivy). The vibe is what you'd expect at a nail shop. They're good at meeting your nail expectations needs. I have a favorite nail tech "Ivy" is who I tell everyone to see. She's super detailed oriented and will be more than happy and redo a nail if it's not to her own standards. Price is very reasonable especially when you go other places! Please, give this place a chance! read more

I came in recently for my nail appointment and the nails are always good quality but a bit pricey, anyways. while I was there (I speak Vietnamese) though it isnt obvious because I'm not asian but I grew up with a viet family. Two young ladies were getting pedicures and the staff working on one of them was saying rude things in viet.. They were being so rude and talking bad about one of the girls for having previous polish on her toes and saying disgusting hurtful things and laughing about her feet, which to me looked like regular feet. They act so nice classy and demure but they say terrible things behind their costumers back. I decided to tip very lightly after that because it's honestly not ok. They first also had said "oh they speak English" as a kind of way to confirm they can talk smack in their language. The girl also had gave her a nice tip, we paid around the same time so I saw. They honestly didnt deserve that tip, the only tip I'd ever give them after that is to tighten those lips because that is disgusting behavior. I've heard other people having the same problems but I never thought I'd sit there and listen to it in reality, their quality of nails is great, their pedicures are too, their costumer service tends to seem like it as well but clearly it's a lie. Very snake like behavior and I won't be returning, of course after I left I pulled the girl aside and let her know. She has the right to decide if she'd want to return after something like that, to each their own. Other than that, sometimes they seem to reuse the same files and drill bits on other people and I watched the girl doing her pedicure drop the scrubber for the feet and pick it up and throw it back in the water. Very odd, my nails looked cute though, a little unsanitary and a lot of snakes. read more

The staff was nice, but charged me $85 for acrylic french tips, which is far more than what other people who went there were charged. My french tips were uneven and not in straight curves. The length of my nails were uneven. I also received rude looks upon leaving the nail salon. I went to tip the woman, and saw two employees give me a dirty look and look each other. read more

A friend of mine recommended this place and suggested I book an appointment with Nina. However, today was her day off, so someone else did my nails instead, as I wasn't able to come back on another day. She was incredibly rude when I asked her about the nail art designs I wanted. They even started gossiping about me in their own language. I felt like a complete joke at the time. And the finished result was absolutely terrible; I honestly can't imagine how they manage to stay in business with work like that.. read more

As someone who is Vietnamese and can understand and speak the language, the nail tech who was doing my nails talked badly about me with her co-workers right in front of me. They cussed at me in Vietnamese and made fun of me with her other co-workers. I understood what they said about me and even left me with awful results. read more

Wonderful service for a very affordable price. Ivy did my gel pedicure while Leena did my dip manicure. Both were really friendly, very meticulous and efficient! I was done with both in an hour. NO STARS....... Worst nail ever done. So I came to this salon 2 week ago with no appointment, I asked for full set acrylic & pedicure with gel but Lyncy I think the young girl told me to do gel extension because look nature and they dont charge for the length but I said I just want to short acrylic she said the same price. It was fine if they work perfect, fews day after on my work trip 3 of my nail broken and I cant get a fill. They tell me have to do new set. Wtf.Why when you put it on didn't tell customers it cant fill. I know the shop very busy all the time & you might dont care about new client but DONT ROB CUSTOMERS like that. read more

I've had 2 bad experiences here & the last one was it for me. I simply just went to "my nail shop" so they could fix the poor work they did and got treated poorly. 4 nails started lifting all within 7 days, 1 fell completely off, and the clear coat was coming off. I went as soon as I could & tried explaining the past week's events regarding my nails, I explained how the guy rushed my nails because I was his last client of the day. The one lady who has been rude before, just walked away when I was explaining so I asked her if she was done with the conversation and she said "yes I don't want to hear you". I come every 2-3 weeks; faithfully, I always tip for each individual service, and I'm always smiling and laughing with everyone. They cut me while fixing my nails & after fitting my bloody nail for a tip they placed the tips back in the box that didn't fit my nail; the nails touched my blood & someone else will have that nail glued on to there's FYI. On top of that I was asked to pay, I voiced my concerns about that not being right but I did offer to tip the tech who fixed my nails; only because I felt bad for the type of people she works for. Sad to say but there are people out there who discriminate and the ignorance is disgraceful. read more

Came here not asking for anything difficult just Gel and chrome because I shaped and trim my nails at home, I specifically only came for chrome and at the beginning I showed the receptionist a CHROME INSPO PICTURE and ASKED FOR IT, so she put all of the necessary supplies on the tech's desk. Mind you I UNDERSTAND and SPEAK Vietnamese, throughout the whole appointment they were actively talking bad about people and making rude comments about the people they were working on. The tech then forgot to do my chrome so I politely asked and reminded her and she began rudely saying things in Vietnamese to her coworkers saying I was a dumb girl for sitting there and not saying anything when she already finished all my nails, I KNOW Vietnamese so I KNOW the insulting words and tone she used. MIND YOU the chrome was on the desk and complained the whole time when she had to do what I initially asked for, and at the end she laughed and specifically told the receptionist to UPCHARGE ME because I asked for too much and charged me $50 PLUS TIP for GEL, no shaping, no trimming, no extensions. UNBELIEVABLY DISRESPECTFUL hiding behind a language barrier but unfortunately I UNDERSTOOD. read more

They just changed ownership and I had a great experience with Jada (sp)? Got a pedicure for $30 and it was really great. I was able to walk in at about 11:30am. They were fairly busy for mid-day. They are seating one chair apart and have glass shields in place. I'll be back more often. read more

I have been receiving exemplary service at Tara's Nails for two years. I had been going to another salon, which I will leave nameless, but butchered my manicure the evening before I was to fly to Las Vegas for my company Christmas party. I showed up at Tara's ten minutes before closing begging them to help me, and completely distraught. My nails looked awful. The girls at Tara's stayed open, removed my horrifying, botched fill set, cleaned up my hands and gave me a brand new beautiful set. Then, because I'd been to angry to sit still after the other place made such a mess of me to get a pedicure, they sat me down and gave me one of the best spa pedicures I've ever received. I haven't come here in quite a long time. They weren't very good so I stopped going. I needed a pedicure in a pinch and they were the only ones close by and still open on a Sunday. I decided to give them another shot. My sister came with me and got a pedicure as well as a manicure. They're AWFUL! All of the girls would helped us were rough, rushing, and made us bleed. There's polish all around my toes. One of my nails isn't straight. The lady doing my sisters manicure shoved the tool so far under her nail it stabbed into where the skin is attached to the nail. They all yanked our legs and feet around. They were rude. On top of all that their rates are ridiculous. Way to expensive for how bad they are. read more

They don't rush you in and out here, they will actually take their time and make sure they do a good job! I love Tara's Nails! They know my name and talk to me, not each other while they are doing my nails. I can almost always just walk in for a pedicure and I feel appreciated here. This is a very cute salon in a strip mall across the street from Whole Foods and just a mile from home, very convenient. Give them a chance and you will be back! read more

At some point, I could even smell cigarette smoke. Not sure where that was coming from. They really should consider getting a few portable air-purifiers. The massages weren't the most therapeutic. In-fact there was no massage with my manicure. But all-in-all, they get the job done. A reasonable $68 for a basic manicure-pedicure with nail buff + tip. I probably won't go back because of the location. But if they relocated to a better location, I'd gladly return.
