Got a pedicure on 11/26 in the evening. The nail tech kept digging into the sides of my big toe and cut way too deep. My nails had already been chipped due to a trip to Japan a week prior. I now have swelling on my big toe and while I have mild ingrown I have not felt it sore like this before. It better not turn into an infection. This staff needs better training and to stop obsessing over a particular area and know when to leave it alone. I've been here twice and my nails come out fabulous! The first time Vivian did my nails and the second time Hali did them. These ladies are wonderful and friendly. I paid for a deluxe pedicure and another customer came in and the nail tech said she needed to soak off someone's nails and it would be 5 minutes. 30 minutes later, I am running out of time and I had to skip the massage and paraffin wax. They still charged me for a deluxe pedicure. This place used to be relaxing and excellent and now it's sub par. Been getting my nails done for 25 years, this is definitely not a relaxing experience or worth the cost. I made an appointment and it made zero difference. Also, their polish selection is poor. I had to take her to John Muir ER in Walnut Creek where she was diagnosed with Paronychia of her left thumb. They had to drain her thumb due to the infection that was giving her so much pain, then give her cephalexin antibiotics. To top it off she got nail fungus on her other nails. Overall I really enjoyed getting my nails done (dip) here, and they turned out great! However, I will say the one thing that was a bummer is I had an appointment at 1:30, and around 1:45 I asked when I'd be able to get in at which point they shared another 10-15 minutes. She then continued to file my nails so thin she rubbed the skin off of 4 fingers causing them to bleed and CONTINUED TO FILE OVER THE BLOOD. Here are two fingers that were cut by filing my skin over and over even after asking to stop AND 1 area where I clearly told her the nail was lifting and she said there was nothing there. The lady did one toe first to see if I liked the color. When I said I wanted a lighter color she didn't get mad or make a comment to her coworkers. God awful. Do not come here. She CUT my foot. Everything was fine, until she went to scrub my foot and cut it with the nail filer board. The board she used was rectangle and wasn't rounded at the edges. She was doing the downward motions and all of a sudden I felt this big sharpe pain. I looked down and not only was my foot just cut, a CHUNK of my foot was gone. So I know everyone makes mistakes but this is why I was mortified and left completely upset and will never return. She tried to stop the bleeding and really didn't want me to look at it. After minutes of compressing and trying to stop the bleeding her advice was for me to stick my foot back in the water where my feet were originally soaking. Mortified! Not only is that disgusting but highly not safe for me from a medical standpoint. I had an open wound that wouldn't stop bleeding and is subjecting me fo bacteria filled water. No one offered me any kind of peroxide or alcohol to help clean my foot. Instead they handed me two Band-Aids and said you'll probably need this. I will never be back. read more

I only came back here because i had a gift card but after this disappointing manicure I'll never return. I came here at little early for my appointment as requested. I was greeted and sat quickly. I made a reservation on my app called ClassPass. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. They have a great selection of colors. I picked red. Another lady name Kim came to do finish painting my manicure. She did such a great job. I loved how detail they are about the manicure and coat laying right. Another lady name Diane did my pedicure. I love their gel pedicures. They do such a good massage on your legs and use a bag I think she said it was wax but nice and warm. I loved it, felt relaxing. The place is clean and they are consistent with the customers little to no wait time. They even give massages while you are doing pedicure or manicure like neck arms area. Not quick ones either good one. They help each other out, one doing nails one doing feet it's like a constant go here. Quiet peaceful music. I will definitely return.
