This place is great for dudes, too! Being over 40, it's important to get pedicures at least a few times a year to avoid the gross cracked yellow edges on your feet and mandatory toe nail removals. When we get older, we surely don't want to be in a place where we can't wear our flip flops to the beach without scaring children. They do a great job of descaling everything, and they are very health conscious with screens and liners everywhere, and everything being washed and sanitized after each client. Great job on no polish nails both hands and feet, and a little extra for the manicure and pedicure will get you massage on the shoulders and arms with strong (gloved) hands and hot stones!! Great deal for the money. Complimentary wine with some packages and/or water, iced tea, etc. Massage chairs for the pedicure, too! I have had 3 of the women, and all are excellent. I have been going to Queen Nails for about 3 years and can't say enough about it. I always get a smile when I enter. The Manicurist at the first chair greets me with my name. Special care is taken to ensure hygienic practices are used. This week I was overcome by the compassion expressed by all the Manicurists when I told them I would soon have knee replacement surgery. I got tender care during my manicure, a genuine hug, and watchfulness as I made my way out and to my car. The salon is clean, has nice music playing, displays of calming photos, and a video of interesting travel sites. I highly recommend this salon. read more

They are pretty good, not sure that I get the negative reviews. Possibly the only place that uses screens between customers as well as between the customer and the manicurist/pedicurist, while being very covid conscious. I've seen them use sanitized nail equipment, and liners for the pedicure bowls. I got lucky both times that I was there and had Cathy/Kathy do my pedicure/manicure. She is extra diligent, very sweet to work with, and did a very thorough job. The cost for a basic pedicure and a manicure (with nail buffing) is a reasonable $55. My rating is a 4.5, and I do see myself going back to this place. read more

I decided to try this salon again after a year or so, and the service was even less than what I expected. I asked for my nail tech for a regular pedicure, no polish/gel. She cut my nails too short without asking for a shape preference. By the time I mentioned the shape was not good, she said it was too late to fix, to which she tried to cut them down again without asking me. She could have fixed the shape by filing but did not ask me to, maybe because she was rushed as she booked 4 pedicures at 1pm and they all waited at least 25 minutes before 1 client was seated. So I left with a bad (and painful) pedicure. I want to say they could do better- maybe under new ownership one day. read more

The ladies here are very sweet and warm. And honestly that's half the reason I get manicures and pedicures in the first place so that was great. The manicure was ok to pretty good. I got upsold pretty hard on getting a more expensive spa pedicure and it was just not wonderful. I got burned a couple of times by hot liquids or stones. This place is terrible, cut me three times while cutting my nails, there's nail polish all over my cuticles and fingers, and the nail polish is spotty. There's gel polish all over my finger tips and sides of my nails. I usually will be easy going with nails but this place is literally terrible, I'm sorry. It's $35 for gel nails and tbh I think it's too expensive for this place. This place is worth probably $15 for gel nails. I did no design, just a light pink color cause I wanted to give her an easy time but she still managed to do it terribly. Super careless and rough with my nails and hands. My cuticles weren't trimmed well at all. Every time she painted my nails she went along the sides with her fingers to wipe off excess nail polish every. Single. Time. This made it so that my nails were super bumpy and uneven on the sides. I've never had such a bad experience with my nails in my life. Thought I'd try this place since I had some free time for my next appointment. Worst place ever for manicure and pedicure. Staff name was Quon something, 2nd station on your left when you enter. She was forcing me to tip her before she even finished the job. Did a very bad job with filing, hurt my skin on my right toe and was pushy to up sell me a different pedicure when I insisted on simple one. Didn't even paint my nails correctly. Not worth $40 at all! She also was rude in the end because I didn't tip her to her expectation. If I get what I paid for then you get tipped for your bad service. read more

My daughter went in to have her nails done for her birthday. She got acrylic nails put on and two were crooked. She asked for them to fix them and they weren't. Her dad went in to see what was going on and they apparently were going to fix it. He left, they removed all her polish and then told her to go, they didn't have any more time for her. They had spent an hour on her nails already and they wouldn't be spending any more time on her. I got on the phone with them ( I was at work) and I said it's her birthday Dan you just fix the one nail?! She said no to her daughter isn't happy I've spent an hour already and I'm not spending any more time. I said then just remove the nails! At this point my daughter is walking around with acrylics no polish and the lady STILL refused. I have never been to some place so in professional in my life! I was very pleased with the outcome, I am a man that's 6'2" 230lbs with athletic feet that are difficult to do. I found the work superior to other local providers. It's my one stop shop for an incredible mani, pedi and eyelash extensions. They do an incredible job and I will be using them for everything for my wedding! I think it depends who you get here to do your nails. Personally I won't return. I'm not one to complain but I had already had a poor job done prior and had not been back for a year. Thought I'd try again and told the girl to shape my nails square round- shape only for the pedicure. She repeated it to me " shape only" grabbed the clippers and cut my nails off. I had to grab her hand to stop her. Also she put a fan on but it was not hitting my feet to dry. The next day both big toes had no shine. The top coat was dull. Painted myself with top coat at home. For 50.00 pedicure I expect them to listen. I dont think it's too much to ask. I left with one foot short nails and one long. read more

When I am in town I come here to get my nails done, which is at least 6+ times a year. I have received excellent gel manicures every time. They last forever - most of the time the still almost perfect polish has to be removed due to grow out when I need a new manicure. I don't have any issues with premature polish peeling or any of the other complaints. You can't make everyone happy - but they really do a great job. This is my go-to nail salon in Northern Cal. I get pedicures a few times a year which last FOREVER (hence only needing them on occasion). They are very friendly, the shop is always clean and orderly. Horrible place, stopped in to get a full set of acrylics after work and was told it could be done. They had me go to the one available person and now I see why she was available. I told her how I wanted them shaped and the color. Well the only thing that was correct was the color. I have never gotten such a horrible set of nails in my life. They were flat uneven and not straight. When I mentioned this I was told that my finger wasn't straight. I spoke to Jennie (probably the manager or owner) and she asked me to come the following day and she would correct. When I came in to see Jennie I was told that she would only fix the 1 nail that wasn't straight. I showed her my hands and asked if she was ok with me walking around with my nails like this from her shop. That I wasn't and I would rather she remove them. Jennie then proceeds to ask a client sitting in her chair about how I was 15 minutes late for my appointment. (Which has nothing to do with the horrible set of nails I have) This place is absolutely horrible, and Jennie has zero customer service skills to want to argue with me about my nails. read more

I told her I did not want to spend that type of money for a pedicure I pointed to the type of pedicure I wanted on the sheet she handed me, but and she continued to try to upgrade. From my initial choice of polish to why I should get a wax job for my feet. Be very specific what you want, or you will pay more than you thought you would. I went to Queens in WC today to get a full set and a pedicure and was very upset with the customer service and the quality in which my full set was done. They were very rude , pushy, and unhelpful. The woman who did my pedicure was great, except for how she tried to push me to get a more expensive pedicure. In total it cost me $99 for a full set and a gel pedicure when it's never costed me more than $60 anywhere else. To be honest, I don't even know why it costed me that much since I didn't ask for anything special regarding my full set. They also just threw the price at me when we were done, because had I had know I would have left at the beginning. 10/10 would recommend finding another place to spend money. read more

Don't even know where to begin with the horrible service this "salon" is. How do you give a place zero stars? 1) Blood. I was BLEEDING after my service. The technician blamed it on the fact my cuticles were bad. Isn't the point of a manicure to get cuticles cleaned up? Every. Single. Finger. Bleeding. She literally ripped my cuticles apart. 2) Gel polish should be applied to nails, not skin. Nail polish EVERYWHERE. On the undersides, around, it attached the nail to my bleeding cuticles. In addition, she would take her own sharp nails to "clean up the edges" and under my nail, my fingers were inflamed & red from her doing this. I asked her to STOP but she said she had to. OUCH. 3) She stopped my service half way through to attend to a woman who was in a rush and had to be out in 45 minutes. Soooooooo she just stopped. Left me sitting there, with half my nails done, to go help this person without an appointment who was in a rush. WHAT THE ACTUAL EFF???? 4) I asked for a refund. They "couldn't". What????????? I'm paying for a service, it's my money to use and spend, I shouldn't have to pay for HORRIBLE service, HORRIBLE detailing, oh and BLOOD. The only time I should BLEED is SURGERY. 5) They don't know I can speak Vietnamese. I have been going to Queens Nails for 8 years. I've always had a positive experience- I actually was quite shocked to read some of the negative comments, ( taking them to small claims court?!). Someone needs a lot of attention, and clearly has nothing better to do with their time. Then again, some people are just never happy. First off, this salon is CLEAN- I know because I have to work in a sterile environment on a daily basis. This,in of itself, is exceptionally important to me, and quite frankly, it should be for everyone else too. By clean, I mean the use of sterile equipment is essential in a nail salon. The sterilization unit is within eye sight- unlike those " bollinger nail salon" chains. If you cannot see how things are being sterilized, you can be sure it's not being done properly. Consider the fact that you are taking a huge risk, and possibly jeopardizing your health. This also shows a conscientious level of care by a small business to provide a level of cleanliness- not a small feat considering all the OSHA standards. Secondly, Jenny, Lisa, and everyone else is kind, good natured and joyful. They engage you in conversation, and have a genuine interest in you. Lastly, my nails are beautiful, only because they make them that way for me. I constantly get compliments on them and am always proud to say Queens Nail is THE BEST!! read more

My wife (Leslie) has been bugging me for years to get a pedicure. I've been quite resistant to the idea - Real men just don't do those things. Alas, after having reached my wit's end, I relented and I succumbed to the pressure and heat my wife had been laying on me. The ladies who run the place, placed me in a big recliner with an awesome massage function. At the foot of the massage chair is a little Jacuzzi like tub thingy containing warm water infused with magical powders, designed to sterilize one's hooves, prepping them for what is yet to come. Unlike clipping my own toenails at home, resulting in chunks of jagged nails to fly off, breaking windows, chipping paint, or maybe even putting an eye out... The girls gently cut and trimmed my dainties of dainties, rendering them shapely and lovely! Then, there's the cleaning ritual and cuticle work with the the sanding of callouses. Where I would use a belt sander at home, the girls gently, and with very little tickling are able to get my former hooves, now rehabilitated feet, as smooth as the hand sanded quarter panel of a '64 Mustang being fully restored. But, it doesn't stop there... The girls throw on to my legs, a neon-colored guacamole looking preparation which resembles a fine accoutrement intended to be served with a plate of tortilla chips. It looked yummy. I felt as if I wanted to run a tortilla chip up my leg to try some. Then a massage from the knees down ensued. Heavenly! Essential oils are then massaged in, with hot river rocks being applied to the skin, to finish things off. Oh, man... This is living! The price was right, too! My feet are pretty, in a manly way... So my wife tells me. And, It's also a great place to hang with the wife for an hour, strategizing and talking shop, while the boys are left at home, not able to "bend an ear" to our conversations... And I can't wait to go back for my next regularly scheduled appointment. Yeah, That's right. I said it... "Next regularly scheduled appointment." I'm going back for more! Today was my first visit to Queen Nails. I was at a Yoga class and was in need of a fill, plus I broke a nail earlier that morning. I have been going to another salon in the area for 2 years now but my person was on vacation. Called and got in after my class. Jenny did my nails and I have to tell you, she was SO gentle (as I am paranoid of getting cut) and shaped them exactly as I wanted. The price a bit higher than what I usually pay at my other place but I would pay a little more for a service that hasn't cut me. They did not seem to want to be there, and when I asked if my little girl could sit next to me she said flatly and loudly "she doesn't need to sit by you". So I could not view my child the entire time and when I finally got to her afterwards she was crying. Especially do not bring your daughters/children here. And they tried to add a 50% tip to my bill. Great salon!! I've been coming here for years for manicures and pedicures and everyone does a great job and is so friendly! Prices are reasonable. Leg massages included in pedicures. They have other services too--Jenny does my eyelash extensions and she's fabulous!! My lashes look completely natural, last a long time, and she is very careful--it never hurts nor irritates my skin. I've had so many compliments on my eyes since Jenny started doing my lashes!! I highly recommend Queen Nails. (Note: I noticed a couple of negative comments on Yelp and I wanted to say that while everyone is entitled to their opinion, I've never had a negative experience here. Went here with all of my bridesmaids to get our nails done the day of the rehearsal dinner. There are 6 chairs total but it wasn't a problem taking turns. My nails were fantastic..I can't remember my girls name. My MOH was very unhappy because the woman that worked in her got polish everywhere and super glue on her finger tips.
