I love Walmart. The prices can't be beat, especially for clothes. While you probably font want to make your whole wardrobe out of Walmart clothes, getting the basics from here is definitely the way to go. I also love that you can get pretty much anything you need all at one store, from food to clothes to automotive accessories. HOWEVER...THEY ARE NO LONGER OPEN 24/7!!! I love shopping in the middle of the night to avoid the crowds of parents with their rowdy herds of kids. Also, for the most part, customer service sucks. The employees ignore you until you ask multiple times for help and then are usually still very rude. Basically, if you go late and don't need help, its a good place to go. I honestly don't know where to begin. This is the closest store to where my boyfriend lives, so we come by once in a while. I can recall a few visits: I went in to look for some film for my instax camera (which is always sold out) and Walmart is the only store I've seen that actually sells this film in store. I didn't see any of the film, but there was miraculously someone in the photo department. He confirmed there was no film, but took down my boyfriend's phone number and said he'd call when they got some in stock. It's been over a month and no call. I doubt they ever will, but I got my film at another location so whatever. I was looking for film again, so after searching the store for an associate for about 10 min, I found someone and asked him if he knew when they get film in. He told me to ask the person in the photo department. I told him there was nobody there. So he manages to find another associate and I ask her about the film, she said she had some boxes and was gonna unpack them and see. I didn't want to wait around all night for her to unpack everything so I left. This past weekend I was looking for some school supplies and we stopped by on the way to his house. It was between 10-11pm. I found what I needed and headed to the line of one of two registers open. It was busy! The lines and self-checkout were both loaded with people ready to pay. I guess the cashier in my line was having trouble with a customer up ahead because she was stuck on that person for about 5-10 min. We were towards the end of the line so the bf stayed in line while I quickly went to the restroom. I came back and the line was smaller, I thought maybe he had let people cut in front of him while he waited, but apparently the people ahead AND behind him in line had given up and moved to self-checkout. Right as we were next in line, the cashier said, and I quote: "hey guys I'm not ringing anybody up anymore, I'm going to lunch." No apology. At this time we (well the bf) had been waiting in line for about 15-20 min. I was furious. We dropped our things off on some nearby boxes and left. Wasted at least 45 min in there for nothing. Terrible customer service. Employees don't care/know anything. Store is messy every time. I know it's Walmart, but come on. Get your sh*t together. read more

Im updating my review to 1 star. Only cool thing is that theyre 24/7 but their shelves are never stocked. I went in one day and they had nothing I came in for... and that's been happening more frequently lately. I use to do all my shopping for work here until one day when I went to return something and the employee takes it upon herself to go look up the security footage to see if I really bought the stuff or if I was stealing. I have a receipt why am I getting profiled for stealing? She comes back 15 mins later and refunds my money. It pissed me off and I do not come here like I use to. This Walmart needs help! A management change or something. Its the grossest, messiest, unorganized Walmart ever. The staff there is really rude and not willing to help. If you ask where something is they all have attitude. They are forever stocking, or at least have their stock out, yet they never have inventory. The only 5 starts was a worker named Juan! He went out his way to help us and I truly appreciate it! Its workers like that, that can keep customers. This store has a new policy, they lock up small toiletries for men, things like shaving cream, aftershave, men's small and low priced accessories. To buy them, you have to "electronically summon" a sales clerk, said clerk shows up around 3 to 10 minutes later, and can only let "one" (1) person into the cabinet at one time, which means they will hand you the item, close the cabinet, then let that party pay, then re-open for the next client, and then close again; so if you have 4 people in line waiting to buy out of the cabinet, that can take another 10 minutes, because of the "open and close" procedure. I stopped buying shaving items, toiletries and other sundry men's items from them, as it has become a pain in the neck. read more

I accidentally dropped and broke a bottle of OJ and some dollar above minimum wage clerk tried to kick me out the store. She told me I had to leave even after I told her that it was an accident. Apparently there's a zero tolerance for black peoples accidents because I shop there frequently and see white kids and adults breaking things left and right and no one ever asks them to leave. This dollar an hour heffer literally followed me throughout the store and called for "backup" to have me escorted. I just ignored them and casually picked up another OJ and went to the self checkout register and purchased my items. I let them know that if anyone puts a hand on me it'll be the last time they have a functional hand. Needless to say no one laid a finger on me and I went about my way. I don't know who that uppity clerk thought she was. Maybe she was bitter because this black man spent more on his little groceries than she made for the whole day. read more

This Walmart has made me not want to be a customer there. Now they have a stupid new policy of where if you buy anything from the beauty department, you have to check out at their register (which is one with 10 people in line and each person can only have 5 items, though that rule only applies if your female, if your a male the cashier won't halt you) and half of the stuff in the beauty department is locked up and of course the person at the register doesn't have the key, so you get to wait an extra 15-20 minutes for them to unlock it. Expect 45 minutes-60 minutes if you buy anything from that department. Basically I'll go to target from now on, because I don't need to spend money at a place where they treat their customers so poorly. read more

Yes, the parking lot is always crowded and you have long lines even on weekdays at 11am. However, the store has everything for a reasonable price. It's not the cleanest store and the employees generally can't help you find anything but you don't come the Walmart for customer service, you come for the cheap price. read more

This Walmart is always PACKED!! I've never seen so much foot traffic at a Walmart on a consistent basis! The only reason I come here is because they are usually very well stocked on hard to find items. I like to utilize the furthest checkouts from the exit- they always move the quickest! I forget how much I appreciate Walmart and the cost savings I find when I shop here. I came here looking for a calf compressor for my husband. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I needed. I decided to do other shopping. I purchased a six-pack of Dole pineapple juice for $2.69. At Stater Brothers and Albertsons, this same item was $1.00 more. I loaded up! I also brought bread and a few neck scarves (one marked down from $6.97 to $1.00 and another marked down from $4.97 to $1.00). Amazing savings! The employees here are absolutely helpful and friendly. THREE employees (manager, assistant manager and another employee) stopped to help me look for the calf compressor. There's also six self check out stations if you want to avoid the long lines. I absolutely appreciate Walmart and thank them for the low prices. This helps me save money so my husband and I can do other things (i.e. go out to dinner, movies, baseball game, etc). Store has a small produce and ready made food section. It smells like sewage outside the store (on the side closest to the mall entrance). Meanwhile inside the store, I get asked if I want a Wal Mart credit card every time by the same lady. Lol I don't want to sound like a snob but some of the folks that shop there....yikes! I have been going to this Walmart a couple years now. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because they decided to use self checkouts which means cutting back on jobs. There are many college students in need of a job right now to pay off their college. Walmart buys their things overseas for much much cheaper and resells here. I understand that is part of their marketing. However, we don't need more jobs cut off, especially when you are saving a ton of money on profit. Companies like you are the reason for less jobs. Keep supporting companies overseas. You guys think you save money on checkstands? Guess what?!!!! For 4 check stands at $10.50 an hr each, I can assure you that you were making more money. Why you may ask? Because now it is so damn easy for thiefs to cut out a scan bar code and attach it to a more expensive item. The person in charge of the checkstands can only observe to see that people do not walk off with items or forget items in the cart. As for the reciept checker, they do not go through your bags, therefore, people can get pay cheaper for items. So in the end, you guys only hurt yourselves. Anyone can scan a barcode they attached to an item and walk off snickering. How do I know this? To catch a thief you must think like a thief! I thought about this since day one that these stupid things came out. Hopefully you guys will consider removing those things. Plus it is so effin annoying when it does not weigh the items properly and then asks for an associates help, or how about when inly cash or only card is accepted? read more

Poor Sarah, I'm standing in line right now, have been for the past 20 mins. There is one associate working one line with at least 10 employees standing around doing nothing. Poor Sarah, she is doing her best and can't help that her fellow managers don't care about helping her or providing good customer service. Oh as I'm writing this review, after complaining countless time, someone finally comes to Sarah's rescue. This Walmart literally has boxes all over the place and is a safety hazard to children. If I could I would honestly put no stars!!! We always have came to this Walmart for years but I can tell you after today's experience I will never be giving my money to this location EVER AGAIN. Earlier a call was made to put another persons name to pick up an item that the original person couldn't get anymore. It took 10min to reach the pick up center and then the guy who answered said he put the alternate name for us. Well... he lied! We got there to pick up the item and my name wasn't on there. Not only that but when I went to the pick up place initially the guy Dennis was so beyond rude and did not know what customer service was. Then he brings an assistant manager who you thought might be useful but she was even worse! My brother who I was with asked a question and Maria (the manager) got completely ghetto on him for no reason. They were so unprofessional. The secret shoppers there are horrible always right up your back when your not doing anything wrong. They follow you around everywhere all for nothing . they also take pictures without permission . This is not a place you go, it's a place you end up! I only come here when I need something after hours and even then, the crowd is scary and the workers run you over with pallet jacks restocking the shelves! This evening I went to the Wal-mart at 2300 N. Tustin Avenue in Orange, CA . As I was walking past the registers I noticed a small, chihuahua-type dog sitting in a customer's cart as she checked out. There is no indication the dog is a service animal and it is sitting a cart. A cart the next unsuspecting customer may put their food in. The employee standing by the exit door saw me take a picture with my phone and told me that no picture taking was allowed in the store without the approval of the customer and the manager but was not able to provide me with a reason why. Frankly, this is gross & I won't be going back there since the staff does not seem to care about the safety of their customers. read more

This Walmart sucks. I mean they all do, it's Walmart, but most of the people that work here don't give a damn about the customers. After buying a few things from here, my boyfriend asked the cashier if she could give us change in exchange for a $20. All we wanted was two $10 bills or some fives. The lady looked half awake like she didn't comprehend what we had asked her and told him "We don't give change." You mean after spending almost $100 here you can't even break a $20 for us? On top of that, you're giving us attitude? Screw that. So we went to the McDonald's inside the store and one of the other Walmart employees was in line in front of us asking for rolls of quarters. My boyfriend told the cashier he would like some change, too holding up the $20. The cashier right away said "I don't have tens". Okay?...then give us four $5 bills. No need to make this so complicated. Moral of the story is that this place has horrible customer service. I know that McDonald's has nothing to do with Walmart even though they're in the same building, but I honestly can't believe how bad their customer service is. I'll stick to going to Target next time. I understand you can't expect much from Walmart, but this is EVEN lower than expected! I placed an online order for store pickup and this store was closest for same-day pick up. I place my order in the morning, check online status that says it should be ready for pickup by 3:12 pm. I get no notification of items being ready, so I call the store - the girl asks me to hold and hangs up on me. By this time, while I'm driving to the store (already regretting it), I call a total of ELEVEN times and no answers in any department with the exception of Electronics, who places me on hold right away and doesn't come back to answer. When I get there, I'm told the items are 'out of stock' and I was going to get an email once they got around to inputting it in the system!!! I show the associate how many times I called the store and her only response is 'we've been busy' - needless to say, I won't be returning to this store! read more

Worst customer service ever! Went in and purchased items for my Cubscout graduation. We are doing a craft and purchased some fabric. The item was 5.29 the item had no tag. We get to register and everything was added but the last item This fabric. They cashier switched her light on for a manager. Then he came up and took the item and said I would be right back. Mind you... It took him about 10 min to get to the register... Then he disappears... After 20 min he comes past our register to another one the then comes by and said let me get the price. At this point it's 30 min... Like WTF!!! Are you kidding me... I start to raise my voice to get him to come back and use his key to override it but ignores me... At this point he returns 10 min. Later... We have been standing at the register for over 45 min waiting for a 5.29 item... Then he comes back with a UPC code. The cashier added the final item and because they took their sweet ass time the transaction was voided for time. So now they have to re ring the entire transaction which requires unbagging all items. At this point I have talk to the gent who took his time getting the UPC code and has the balls to give me attitude and Walked away i requested another super and again nothing but attitude and no apology or effort on their part. read more

Came to pharmacy at 9:00 am they still we're not open. pharmacist arrived about 10 minutes late five minutes later a checker came then she left for another 20 minutes without saying a word. I asked the pharmacist to call the manager she said she couldn't they weren't there. so I called and they said the manager wasn't in so they transferred me to the assistant manager. In a very calm and professional manner manner I stated to him (Joe) what the problem was and asked if he could at least send a checker and he hung up on me. I called back because I thought maybe we just got disconnected but he hung up on me again. Something very unethical must be going on in Walmart and their employees must be extremely unhappy. I intend to write corporate office to let them know so that nobody else has to experience absolutely ridiculous customer service I received today. I was stalked at this walmart on 2 separate occasions by the same man. First in the womens clothing, the creep kept brushing up behind me, then the same man was there again and did the same thing again about a week later in the fabric/craft section. I was completely disturbed and had to get a security guard to kick him out. The staff are hit or miss, a lot of the time they lead me in completely the wrong direction when asking where something is. It's full of rude out of touch customers who run into me with their cart and don't even acknowledge it. The huge aisles are somehow completely barricaded by slow walking obese people and their obese children constantly getting right in my way and having been taught no personal boundaries. I'm surprised that they never really have what I'm looking for. This place has a nasty hostile vibe, the only nice thing about the whole place are the old people greeting you at the door. Once I found a half eaten chicken nugget in the bathroom. Ugh, I could go on and on about everything wrong with this walmart and walmart in general, but where else am I going to go at 3 in the morning when I need something they don't sell at 711. read more
