A great little gem. Food is like you remember it should be. Lots of different seating options. Outstanding food at outstanding prices. Options you wouldn't think of at a place that is frozen in time!

Nice stop for breakfast. Good food and service. There isn't a kids menu, but there are several small portioned options for kids. I ordered my kids (4 & 5) each a pancake and it was plenty for them.

I didn't have bread at home so I went to Wally's for breakfast this morning! I called the order in and stop to pick it up on my way to work! It was a very inexpensive breakfast and it hit the spot! The eggs were cooked in butter, and tasty! The sausage, toast, and grits were also good! This was a quick and easy fix for breakfast this morning and they had a good crowd there! I will definitely be stopping by again, maybe in the morning!

Us outside after breakfast, so good!!

Every Friday for I bet 20 years, my two friends have had breakfast together here. Whenever I'm in town I get to join them. Lifelong friends and amazing breakfast! I got the breakfast special with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy. She must have known I like my bacon a little done. It was so good. Always is. If you need a new breakfast spot in Chattanooga, this is it. It's been here forever and hopefully will remain. Restrooms right by the front door which is nice as well. Great service. All around 5 stars!!

Every one of the sides looks so good and fresh that I wanted to get each one of them just to try it! The fish was cooked perfectly and was nice and tender. The added little muffin I didn't expect was a nice touch and delicious. The collard greens were SO GOOD. I'd get them again. So flavorful and cooked well. The beets were fresh and the goat cheese carried so much flavor. For the desserts, we got the carrot cake with pecans and chocolate cheesecake. Both were soooo good. I would get both of them again, especially the carrot cake which was so warm and moist. And the candied pecans were such a nice complement to the cake - not too sweet at all. The ambience is super nice and fresh, and our server was so sweet and engaging. The hostess as well. Everybody there was so nice and welcoming. We each got a different sandwich and they were each delicious. I got the Harvest Turkey - the fig jam is delightful! My oldest got the cubano - excellent! My daughter got the chicken salad - it was good but it is a chunky style, so if you prefer it with smaller chunks it may not be for you. My youngest got grilled cheese - you can't go wrong with that! (It's not technically on the menu but the waitress offered it when he said he didn't know what to get.) Finally, my husband got the catfish po-boy and said, "It's the best piece of blackened fish I've ever had!" (I agree!) The remoulade and cajun sauces were good, too. The varied salt and pepper sets added whimsy to the homey atmosphere, too!

Those that are in the know, come back frequently. The staff is spectacular, the owner is always working the floor, engaging with his customers and they have found a head chef, who is getting recognition locally, for the quality of the food he puts out each and every day they are open. You drill down into the ingredients, where products are sourced, OLR buys local, buys premium, buys fresh, and it all shows in the product they put out onto the table. We were back today for Father's Day, and of course we arrived early as no reservations are accepted. Not a problem, happy to do it, we wanted to be part of that first seating when OMR opened at 11:00a. I would have been happy with ANY ITEM on the days menu, and I went with the Strip Steak and eggs, but got to sample the other selections at the table as well. Two gotcha moments today above and beyond the meal itself, the fresh fig with peach and bacon served when we first sat down.....and for the first time, I had coffee while dining here, it was absolutely delicious. Folks, I recognize it is a turn-off for some when you can't make a reservation, but my recommendation is to look beyond that, you have to enjoy a meal here at OMR, you'll be glad you did!

We walked in a little after 1:00 on a Sunday and were seated right away. We sat on the patio, which was delightful, and enjoyed the smooth country live music while we ate. The fried chicken was definitely the highlight--crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and exactly the kind of comfort food you want when you're in the mood for a hearty Southern meal. The casual, quirky atmosphere also gives Champy's a character of its own and makes it feel like more than just another fried chicken restaurant. The only thing keeping my visit from being a five-star experience was the pace of the service. They weren't particularly busy while we were there, but service was still noticeably slow. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and pleasant, so it wasn't a hospitality issue at all--we simply spent more time waiting than I would have expected given how quiet the restaurant was. That said, the food and friendly atmosphere made for an enjoyable visit. If you're exploring Chattanooga and craving fried chicken with a side of local personality, Champy's is certainly worth a stop. Just give yourself a little extra time and come hungry!

The tenders were cooked fresh and were piping hot when they arrived. The chicken was dusted with mild heat seasoning. Outside of that seasoning, they weren't seasoned with anything else. We both remarked that we've had better Nashville hot tenders and better tenders in general. The Mac and cheese was just okay but the greens were the star of the meal. They were flavorful, meaty and had just enough kick to keep things interesting. Good meal overall. I recommend that you try them out. We will return to try other menu items.

Everything about this experience was top-notch! From being seated quickly upon entering, to explaining how the ticket validation thing worked (more info at the end), customer service was some of the best I've been shown. The ambiance is chic but casual-great for both cozy date night or fun family night. Our server was so friendly and patient as we asked questions about the menu. I ordered the grilled salmon with spicy crab remoulade and my guy ordered the smoked wings with a side of fries. I was happy that I was able to select my own sides from the ones on the menu so I opted for the fried Brussels sprouts with maple and bacon and the buttermilk whipped potatoes. After a short wait, our food was brought out. This was truly one of the best salmon dishes I have ever eaten! The salmon was cooked to my liking, the potatoes were soft and fluffy and the fried Brussels sprouts were absolutely divine and perfect. The remoulade was a little salty but it may have been just been my taste. The potatoes helped with that so it was not a deal breaker. My guy was pleased with his food as well and I could tell he enjoyed everything he ate. We agreed that we would take this trip back just to eat this meal again. It was truly a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. I highly recommend trying this gem out! Pro Tip: The restaurant validates parking. If you park in the lot across the street, do not prepay on the app or online. Ask the servers at the front to validate to save the $18 parking fee before you order and within 15 minutes after entering.
