    The pounder double cheeseburger
    John M.

Ok so I heard about this place from a neighbor and finally got by there a couple of times this week. I tried breakfast once and stopped by for lunch to get both angles. I had biscuits and gravy the large one with a side of scrambled eggs and my girl had the French toast special with 2 eggs over easy and a sausage patty. First the place is homey you feel welcome and the people who work there are super nice and super nice it's a great feeling and a plus for me. The b&g was incredible the biscuits are huge all home made and the gravy was sausage gravy was perfect. The French toast my girl had looked awesome but the eggs over easy were perfect and ended up on top of my b&g . Now they sent me home with a menu to check out some of the other things they served there and WABAM. I saw where they served a pretty big burger and I had to make a lunch run there. I live way out in Polk county so we just don't pop into town there has to be justification for driving that far haha. Well just so happens a couple of days later I had to run by the boat shop on 64 and it's only a mile or so from this restaurant. So you know big burger = let's roll so ordered the 1lb double cheese burger with tots and um um we have a winner this place is a true hidden gem in Cleveland. The burger was a true smash burger made by a real person. Not pre made or pre cooked that was warmed up in a microwave. I definitely have a new favorite place to go when I make it to town. They are open 7days. It's a family run restaurant just trying to survive in today's world. The prices of everything on the menu were excellent. The building looks great with plenty of parking in front and the side. I have one picture of my burger that doesn't do it justice but I'll throw it up anyway. Times are tough but I'm a big supporter of the little guys. A+++

    Big biscuit and gravy.

Great place for breakfast. Great staff. Well worth the drive from I75 for good country breakfast !

A sample from the buffet bar: Salisbury steak, macaroni and cheese, chicken pot pie, potato salad, chicken fried steak, and a dinner roll.

I came here for Sunday brunch with the family I was staying with in Cleveland. They warned me it wasn't any kind of upscale or fancy place, but that's totally fine with me. If the food and service are good, I don't care if I'm eating out in a parking lot. They have a giant menu but I decided on the all you can eat buffet, located in the back of the restaurant. This buffet had your down home favorites: chicken fried steak, macaroni and cheese, chicken pot pie, Salisbury steak, and a selection of desserts. The only thing is I wish the assorted salads on the back wall had a label on them. I could distinguish the pasta salad and potato salad, but a few items I had no idea what exactly they were. Our waitress was friendly and everyone was happy with their meal. I enjoyed my experience at Cameron's and would recommend it to anyone who needs some classic, stick-to-your-ribs type food.

Driving through and found three diners closed, which brought us to Cameron's. What a pleasant surprise! Despite a staff shortage, the staff is clearly a family! Smiles, genuinely caring how we were doing, constant refills. The food is super good and huge portions! Skip the chain restaurants and support local, smile back and tip generously!

They have the best biscuits in town. They have one that is so big you can't eat it all.

I arrived at 1:16 PM on 2025-07-27. The restaurant was pretty packed at that time, but it wasn't…read moreoverly loud. I told the person at the front that I just need a table for 1, and she said the wait would be about 10 minutes. Thankfully though, I only had to wait 2 minutes and 12 seconds. The booth area I was seated it wasn't dirty or damaged, and it had a very classy look to it. I ordered the "Reese's Peanut Butter & Nutella French Toast", which comes with 2 eggs (I ordered sunny-side up) and sausage (I went with turkey sausage). The food took 17 minutes and 50 seconds to arrive. I note how long it took for transparency purposes only (I had a book with me to read, so I didn't mind the wait). After ordering, I did use the men's bathroom, which is a single bathroom (thankfully, it was vacant). Its not a very big bathroom, but I didn't feel claustrophobic in it, and was well kept. Here's my thoughts on each part of the meal: The eggs were cooked well and tasty The sausages (it came with 2) were not dry and didn't taste like frozen brand named sausages from a grocery story The French toast was great. Very peanut butter-y flavor (which is what I was wanting), and the strawberries were vibrant and sweet. It came with syrup on the side, but honestly, the French toasted was great even without the syrup (though I did put the syrup on after I tasted the toast as is). Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal and experience at the restaurant. Thanks to my server Kayla for being friendly, and thanks to Fisch (I hope I spelled your name right) for making a tasty meal. Now, I had mentioned to Kayla how I was interested in trying out the "American Dream Golden Pancake" meal at some future point, and after I had paid for the meal, a guy came to my table (I'm sorry, I didn't ask for your name) and not only inquired if I was satisfied with my meal but also offered me the "American Dream Golden Pancake" meal to take home for free. This was a highly unexpected goodwill offer which I took up. This meal also comes with 2 eggs (I chose scrambled) and sausage (I chose pork). Now, as with any meal you take to go, its not going to be as good as when you have it in the actual restaurant. Despite that however, I was able to reheat the meal good, and here's my thoughts on the items in the meal: The eggs were flavorful and not rubbery The sausage patty wasn't dry and was tasty The pancake was crispy (I toasted it in my oven), the strawberry and blueberry cremes were great. The strawberries and blueberries were sweet. Golden Yolk was a truly great spot to eat it, and if you're in the Cleveland, TN area, I'd highly recommend coming here. Update 2025-12-09: I came back to Golden Yolk for a lunch a little more than a week before my birthday. This time, my order was a Southwest Power Omelette with a side of Mixed Greens and Cinnamon Raisin Toast (I could've picked Sourdough or Wheat Berry). Everything was great, and since it was close to my birthday, I was given a free birthday biscuit topped with their Blueberry Dream Creme and whipped cream. I'd recommend coming here for birthdays.

It came with a huge flaky biscuit topped with a generous scoop of sausage and bacon gravy. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were seasoned really well, and the bacon was nice and crispy. My husband got the build-your-own omelet, and it was very well made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was lively and a little loud, but it fit the restaurant perfectly with its modern Southern vibe. Pricing was a little high, but nothing crazy in today's market. Will return!

So with the parking situation, a little stressful for me but eventually I found a space and made it work. I got an Iced Moon River latte with oat milk, which is pretty much an iced honey lavender latte. It was delicious. The sweetness level was perfect, it had great floral and lavender notes, and it blended well with the oat milk. It was a solid iced latte. I'm interested in their other signature lattes, but the Moon River Latte blew me away that I would just order that every single time. Unfortunately I didn't explore the back area, but I was in the front lobby area with the couch as I waited for my drink and found a small table by the window. I loved how cozy it was inside, there are so many seating options and green plants within the repurposed home. I brought my journal here and it's a great place to study, journal, and just hangout. Baristas were nice and friendly. This place deserves all stars, I look forward to returning :)

It's immaculately, clean and plenty of seating. The chalkboard menu is a cute touch as well. Plus behind the register is a barn door with their sign and logo. The service was amazing and quick, but the salt content of the tomato gravy was a bit high like not edible. Instead of providing a new biscuit, they said to scrape off the gravy and eat it anyway. That was not the best way to handle things because the person eating it has high blood pressure . They could've just offered to have the biscuit without the gravy and she really eat any of it. Well I'll be back absolutely I can't wait to try the rest of their menu. I had a turkey gravy with biscuit. I had one thing I wanted anyway: the cinnamon swirl biskit. The website describes it as, "Our special BiskitNV dessert that'll make you forget what a cinnamon roll is." THIS IS THE MOST ACCURATE STATEMENT FOR HOW I AM FEELING. I am cinnamon roll obsessed and have been looking for the best one in the Chattanooga region for a while now. I guess I don't care about cinnamon rolls anymore and will make the trek to Cleveland for this beauty whenever the craving hits. The only negative is I wish they were open more days/longer because I want to bring friends, but they're always closed when I try.

I ended up getting the Bruschetta Toast and the Nutella Croissant. My friend had the Acai Bowl and French Toast. The croissant was nice, pastry was large and filled with nutella. I shared with my friend and really liked the Acai bowl. It was presented beautifully and tasted very fresh. The French Toast was smaller than I thought and pretty sweet but good nonetheless. For me, the star of the show was the Bruschetta Toast. I loved everything about it: from the avocado spread, the soft mozzarella balls, the cute microgreens on top, the cherry tomatoes that add a little acidity, and the balsamic sauce. At first the balsamic smelled strongly of vinegar but it worked so well with all the ingredients, it was not overpowering as I thought. Such a well-balanced dish. I had to end the whole experience with the last bite of toast because everything else was pretty sweet, and it was just that amazing. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back to try other things off their menu.
