I know this is a local favorite in Cleveland and I hate to come across as negative, but this place is not good y'all. Nothing against the people or the servers - in fact our service was excellent! But the food is just not good. We tried an omelette w/toast and gravy, french toast, and pancakes and it was all very below average. Truthfully, I've had better tasting food at iHop. Tried this for the first time today as were really thinking we wanted breakfast. However once here changed our minds and opted for lunch. I got the Philly cheese sandwich with ff, and my husband got the patty melt with onion rings. For the price and the fact that this is a diner, I was impressed. Hot, made to order and tasty. Our waitress was fun and kept us laughing. My only complaint (if you can call it that), was the cashier kept going outside for a smoke and never saw her go wash her hands. Kinda grossed me out. Ok so I heard about this place from a neighbor and finally got by there a couple of times this week. I tried breakfast once and stopped by for lunch to get both angles. I had biscuits and gravy the large one with a side of scrambled eggs and my girl had the French toast special with 2 eggs over easy and a sausage patty. First the place is homey you feel welcome and the people who work there are super nice and super nice it's a great feeling and a plus for me. The b&g was incredible the biscuits are huge all home made and the gravy was sausage gravy was perfect. The French toast my girl had looked awesome but the eggs over easy were perfect and ended up on top of my b&g . Now they sent me home with a menu to check out some of the other things they served there and WABAM. I saw where they served a pretty big burger and I had to make a lunch run there. I live way out in Polk county so we just don't pop into town there has to be justification for driving that far haha. Well just so happens a couple of days later I had to run by the boat shop on 64 and it's only a mile or so from this restaurant. So you know big burger = let's roll so ordered the 1lb double cheese burger with tots and um um we have a winner this place is a true hidden gem in Cleveland. The burger was a true smash burger made by a real person. Not pre made or pre cooked that was warmed up in a microwave. I definitely have a new favorite place to go when I make it to town. They are open 7days. It's a family run restaurant just trying to survive in today's world. The prices of everything on the menu were excellent. The building looks great with plenty of parking in front and the side. I have one picture of my burger that doesn't do it justice but I'll throw it up anyway. I came here for Sunday brunch with the family I was staying with in Cleveland. They warned me it wasn't any kind of upscale or fancy place, but that's totally fine with me. If the food and service are good, I don't care if I'm eating out in a parking lot. They have a giant menu but I decided on the all you can eat buffet, located in the back of the restaurant. This buffet had your down home favorites: chicken fried steak, macaroni and cheese, chicken pot pie, Salisbury steak, and a selection of desserts. The only thing is I wish the assorted salads on the back wall had a label on them. I could distinguish the pasta salad and potato salad, but a few items I had no idea what exactly they were. Our waitress was friendly and everyone was happy with their meal. I enjoyed my experience at Cameron's and would recommend it to anyone who needs some classic, stick-to-your-ribs type food. read more

Second time here. Second time disappointed. First time i had to go up to the owner to get sweet n lo for my already cold coffee. Today, i ordered a bacon snd cheese omelette. It arrived and it was AMERICAN CHEESE! Which as any smart human knows is a "processed cheese food" and not actually cheese. I have never ordered an omelette and not have it automatically come with cheddar or a choice of cheese! When i re-checked the menu it only said Bacon and Cheese omelette. When i asked the waitress about other options..., she was rude and replied "it's cheese everything here comes with american cheese"!! and then never returned to refill my coffee. They may have the biggest fluffiest biscuits in town..... but i'm not sure it's worth the hassle. If you eat here make sure to ask for shredded cheese and your own pot of coffe! read more

We were in town and decided to try this place based on the reviews. It's a seat yourself restaurant and it took well over 20 mins for someone to take our drink order and she rushed off before we could order our food. It took another 10 mins to get our drinks and order our food then it took 45 mins to GET our food. When we asked they claim it's a small local spot so they get really busy, which it is but people that had gotten there and sat down AFTER us got their food BEFORE us so that claim was bogus. I ordered the loaded hash browns and the hash browns were undercooked and be aware the green peppers and ham are raw, not grilled. My husband got an omelette that he described as ok and my kids shared a pancake that was burnt. We will not be returning to this place. read more

Driving through and found three diners closed, which brought us to Cameron's. What a pleasant surprise! Despite a staff shortage, the staff is clearly a family! Nice little country restaurant which is kind of hidden beside a daycare. They have a buffet here which is served during the week. However, you can order off the menu too . The buffet was good as I may not have to eat the rest of the day or night. I got corn and mashed potatoes and gravy for my sides. Also, got turnip greens with corn bread. Furthermore, I got desert which I chose peach cobbler. Of course, I got sweet tea to go with my meal which I had to remind the waitress that I ran out of at one point. I went to the bathroom where they had no paper towels to dry my hands. So, Cameron's get a solid 4 stars from me on this visit. So, congratulations. read more

We came in from out of town due to the great YELP reviews. The food was delicious and seems to be a sweet little local spot. If you use the maps on yelp it takes you to an old abandoned house so out it in your own GPS. Waitress was great. Buffet was delicious. Biscuits great. Bacon cooked perfectly. Coffee was so good. Try their Breakfast Bar! They have the buffet on Friday - Sunday from 8:00am - 1:00pm. They have cathead biscuits (I'm talking as big as your fist!) On the bar they have sausage, bacon, chicken strips, ham, eggs, oatmeal, grits, gravy, French toast sticks, donuts, cinnamon rolls & fruit. The price is reasonable @ $5.99. Cameron's is somewhat of an iconic breakfast spot in Cleveland, TN. It's southern breakfast food at its best, and very cheap. Expect a dingy, somewhat smokey, somewhat clean atmosphere, and southern hospitality from the waitresses. You'd be hard pressed to find a better biscuit than from this greasy spoon. This is a great place for breakfast. Now lunch and dinner is another thing all together. I went with a friend for lunch which cost us over 25.00, the food we where served tasted like it had been frozen and had a bad freezer burn taste. The sides were all canned food. The food was horrible, and that's an understatement. Like I said great place for breakfast, just don't go there any other time, you'll regret it. read more
