Busy Bee with Oat Milk

We come to this cute, little coffee shop every time we come to Cleveland. The service is very friendly and there is a lot of seating. The vibe is very warm and the coffee is always amazing! My only advice would be to not go at the same time school gets out. The coffee shop will be overrun with kids ordering drinks.

Hooray for #LocalCoffee, I was first through the door this morning when Ocoee opened at 7am. This is very obviously a former home. Coffee machinery in the kitchen area and the remaining ground floor rooms have been converted into coffee shop seating - chairs that might have been purchased from the local Goodwill, two- and four- top tables in the parlor, dining room, back bedroom, etc. There is a big space with counter seating, there is a free wifi and there are restrooms. It's cute that the floor outlets are still two-prong. Thankfully, they have converters for those of us with laptops that need three prongs. My cortado was delicious and just the right dosage of caffeine to keep me going through the morning. Drink more coffee! [Review 18167 overall - round number 300 in Tennessee - 1689 of 2022.]

Was stuck at Lee University for summer camp with average-to-undrinkable coffee on offer. Then, I found this place. Swung by 4 minutes before closing, and the one bro with immaculate vibes made me the beverage of my week--an oat flat white. I would describe the temperature as perfection. I'm going "dark chocolate" and "tobacco" on the coffee notes. 10/10 would recommend.

This was my first time here, and I'm in love. The interior is fantastic, but they also have a back deck, greenhouse, and boat house. You can dine outdoors and distanced easily. They serve in mugs or to-go cups. I had a lovely honey, cinnamon latte! Super instagrammable!

Cute air conditioned "boat house" great for studying or working from laptop. Also a cute "green house" with seating as well!

10/10 recommend! Great coffee, friendly staff, some food options (including some gluten free!). Lots of seating, nice environment with natural lighting, reminds me of the house I grew up in :)

Great service and a delicious Latte.

Ocoee Coffee Company offers delicious brewed beverages, light meals and a warm vibe in a reconstituted brick home. What I enjoy the most is eight different spaces in which to enjoy your menu selections, friends or work. There are five different rooms in the main house, a solar room, carriage house and a good sized outdoor deck. The service staff is friendly which is also reflected in the "barely there" cafe music. There is a drive-through window if the limited parking is full. Most importantly, their restroom is easy on the eyes and always clean. I do hope that they expand their hours into the evening during the traditional school year. Until then just plan to visit during standard daylight hours.

great coffee / ample seating / adorable! While visiting my parents for a long weekend, we decided to try out Ocoee Coffee Co., which had just opened up about a month prior. It's in this cute, little old house and the inside has little vintage chic touches here and there. There are several different rooms with lots of seating, so it would definitely be great for small groups. They also have a large back patio, as well as a little glass greenhouse that has extra seating. There is a small parking lot in the front that was full when we went, but there is plenty of extra parking around back. They also have a drive-thru if you need your joe on the go. Their coffee / espresso menu is pretty basic, with syrups you can add for flavoring. The pricing is relatively cheap in my opinion. I pay about $4 for a cortado in Dallas, they charge $2.50 here, and it tastes just as good. They have a nice selection of sandwiches + pastries to go along with your drinks. I grabbed a muffin, which was decently sized and delicious. Also, make sure to check out their mural in the back. It's the perfect backdrop for that instagram post. I can't say enough good things about this place. The service was amazing, they were super friendly + patiently answered all of our questions. We loved it so much, that we went back a second time while I was visiting. I only wish we had a cute coffee shop like this when I lived in Cleveland.

TLDR: cute little coffee house. Amazing scones & quiche! Small parking lot. Ventures to this adorable coffee house while on a road trip. The staff here are so professional, kind, & aware of safe protocols during the Covid 19 pandemic. Most of the places we have ventured into to grab food on our journey have shockingly not had employees wearing masks. But, I was so happy to see all of the baristas working here we're wearing masks & so aware of how to properly keep service sanitary. Huge Thank You for being so responsible!! Onto the food!! The blueberry scones were soft and warm and had a slight hint of lemon!!!! Wow!! They were the best scones I have ever eaten!!! I also had the spinach & feta quiche which was heavenly! My husband had the ham & cheese quiche, it was so good I couldn't even snap a picture first! I had the coconut vanilla latte & it was pure perfection!! My husband also said his cold brew coffee was solid. Overall this place is a diamond in the rough!! Go out of your way to stop and enjoy all they have to offer, you will thank me!

Coffee was yummy (I had snickerdoodle) & ham and cheese quiche. The person who took my order was very friendly. The place is super cute and inviting. Would definitely go again!

I discovered this place a few weeks ago! I was highly impressed with the quality of the coffee, I got the banana foster latte so so good. The baristas are very friendly and the atmosphere is just perfect! I have made this my every Friday stop. I live about 30 min away or I would come everyday lol

Golden Yolk - Reese's Peanut Butter & Nutella French Toast, side view with ruler

Golden Yolk

I arrived at 1:16 PM on 2025-07-27. The restaurant was pretty packed at that time, but it wasn't…read moreoverly loud. I told the person at the front that I just need a table for 1, and she said the wait would be about 10 minutes. Thankfully though, I only had to wait 2 minutes and 12 seconds. The booth area I was seated it wasn't dirty or damaged, and it had a very classy look to it. I ordered the "Reese's Peanut Butter & Nutella French Toast", which comes with 2 eggs (I ordered sunny-side up) and sausage (I went with turkey sausage). The food took 17 minutes and 50 seconds to arrive. I note how long it took for transparency purposes only (I had a book with me to read, so I didn't mind the wait). After ordering, I did use the men's bathroom, which is a single bathroom (thankfully, it was vacant). Its not a very big bathroom, but I didn't feel claustrophobic in it, and was well kept. Here's my thoughts on each part of the meal: The eggs were cooked well and tasty The sausages (it came with 2) were not dry and didn't taste like frozen brand named sausages from a grocery story The French toast was great. Very peanut butter-y flavor (which is what I was wanting), and the strawberries were vibrant and sweet. It came with syrup on the side, but honestly, the French toasted was great even without the syrup (though I did put the syrup on after I tasted the toast as is). Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal and experience at the restaurant. Thanks to my server Kayla for being friendly, and thanks to Fisch (I hope I spelled your name right) for making a tasty meal. Now, I had mentioned to Kayla how I was interested in trying out the "American Dream Golden Pancake" meal at some future point, and after I had paid for the meal, a guy came to my table (I'm sorry, I didn't ask for your name) and not only inquired if I was satisfied with my meal but also offered me the "American Dream Golden Pancake" meal to take home for free. This was a highly unexpected goodwill offer which I took up. This meal also comes with 2 eggs (I chose scrambled) and sausage (I chose pork). Now, as with any meal you take to go, its not going to be as good as when you have it in the actual restaurant. Despite that however, I was able to reheat the meal good, and here's my thoughts on the items in the meal: The eggs were flavorful and not rubbery The sausage patty wasn't dry and was tasty The pancake was crispy (I toasted it in my oven), the strawberry and blueberry cremes were great. The strawberries and blueberries were sweet. Golden Yolk was a truly great spot to eat it, and if you're in the Cleveland, TN area, I'd highly recommend coming here. Update 2025-12-09: I came back to Golden Yolk for a lunch a little more than a week before my birthday. This time, my order was a Southwest Power Omelette with a side of Mixed Greens and Cinnamon Raisin Toast (I could've picked Sourdough or Wheat Berry). Everything was great, and since it was close to my birthday, I was given a free birthday biscuit topped with their Blueberry Dream Creme and whipped cream. I'd recommend coming here for birthdays.

It came with a huge flaky biscuit topped with a generous scoop of sausage and bacon gravy. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, the potatoes were seasoned really well, and the bacon was nice and crispy. My husband got the build-your-own omelet, and it was very well made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was lively and a little loud, but it fit the restaurant perfectly with its modern Southern vibe. Pricing was a little high, but nothing crazy in today's market. Will return!

The cakes were $30 for a whole cake and $10 for a HUGE slice. If our route had taken us back anywhere near Cleveland, we would have bought a cake or two. I had one thing I wanted anyway: the cinnamon swirl biskit. The website describes it as, "Our special BiskitNV dessert that'll make you forget what a cinnamon roll is." THIS IS THE MOST ACCURATE STATEMENT FOR HOW I AM FEELING. I am cinnamon roll obsessed and have been looking for the best one in the Chattanooga region for a while now. I guess I don't care about cinnamon rolls anymore and will make the trek to Cleveland for this beauty whenever the craving hits. It's immaculately, clean and plenty of seating. The chalkboard menu is a cute touch as well. Plus behind the register is a barn door with their sign and logo. The service was amazing and quick, but the salt content of the tomato gravy was a bit high like not edible. Instead of providing a new biscuit, they said to scrape off the gravy and eat it anyway. That was not the best way to handle things because the person eating it has high blood pressure . They could've just offered to have the biscuit without the gravy and she really eat any of it. Well I'll be back absolutely I can't wait to try the rest of their menu. I had a turkey gravy with biscuit. Great ambiance to also just hang out or study/journal. Service was friendly and timely. I got the Iced Lavender Latte with oat milk. It was delicious, the lavender syrup was perfectly flowery and sweetened. There were so many food options on the menu, it took a while to order because everything looked so good. I ended up getting the Bruschetta Toast and the Nutella Croissant. My friend had the Acai Bowl and French Toast. The croissant was nice, pastry was large and filled with nutella. I shared with my friend and really liked the Acai bowl. It was presented beautifully and tasted very fresh. The French Toast was smaller than I thought and pretty sweet but good nonetheless. For me, the star of the show was the Bruschetta Toast. I loved everything about it: from the avocado spread, the soft mozzarella balls, the cute microgreens on top, the cherry tomatoes that add a little acidity, and the balsamic sauce. At first the balsamic smelled strongly of vinegar but it worked so well with all the ingredients, it was not overpowering as I thought. Such a well-balanced dish. I had to end the whole experience with the last bite of toast because everything else was pretty sweet, and it was just that amazing. I highly recommend this place and I'll be back to try other things off their menu.
