Very good experience. Quaint little shop in historic downtown. Excellent selection of tea and coffee. Very good selection of lunch sandwiches. Order at the counter, take a seat, and lunch is brought to you. We were very pleased with our selections. While it is just a little pricey, the food was good enough that we will likely return especially when guests are visiting.

The Tea Sandwich ($10). EXCELLENT and a new favorite!

Let me add my name to the list of those praising Gardner's Market. If you want reliable, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced food, go here! Not to mention, great service with friendly welcoming smiles and a unique atmosphere that makes this place the perfect spot for a good conversation over a great lunch. For our visit, we ordered a "Tea Sandwich" ($10) and a "Chicken BLT Sandwich" ($12). These are some of the best sandwiches we've had in our lives. I'm not exaggerating. Seriously, I couldn't stop gushing about them to family and friends. Every ingredient was very fresh and clearly high quality. Our meal was so good we came back the next day. The only downsides I'll note are that finding a place to park is difficult, which is not their fault. We ended up finding free parking at a parking lot located at 2nd Street and Worth Street. Secondly, there's no outdoor patio seating (would love if there was). Third, they no longer offer sprouts for their sandwiches. Lastly, be prepared for a small wait as they are making the food fresh. Regardless of all these considerations, we'll happily continue to visit and support Gardner's Market any time we're in town.

First thing I want to mention is that this place adds a 3.75% processing fee if you pay with a credit card. So bring cash and your spare change. Second thing I want to mention is that they don't offer free water here. But I asked the owner and he said you can bring your own drinks. Anyway, I arrived at 1:30 PM. If you have trouble pinpointing the exact place this restaurant is at, its the one with the "Earl's Restaurant" sign on it. There is no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to park along the street (but thankfully, you don't have to pay to park [let's pray it stays that way]). This restaurant doubles as a general store, and they have plenty of things to purchase (teas, spices, baking mixes, puzzles, etc.). The place is also full of various knick-knacks that really help nail that old timey general store vibe. They also played old timey crooner kind of music and had a TV playing 3 Stooges episodes in the dinning room area. I ordered an Amish Chicken Sandwich, and for my side, I asked the cashier (who had some great sideburns) what his recommendation would be between the Loaded Potato Salad or the Pimiento Cheese, and he suggested the Loaded Potato Salad. I asked if the sides on offer are what they typically have, and he said that while they always have the Superfood Kale and the Loaded Potato Salad, the other sides will rotate. Regarding the bathroom situation, there's only 1 bathroom. It was in decent enough condition, though I think the sink was a little low to the ground (I had to crouch to wash my hands), but that's probably because that 1 bathroom is meant to accommodate all customers. And while the bathroom had both a hand blower and paper towels, I do wish the paper towels were perforated so that you could easily tear off some. My order took about 4 minutes to arrive, and it came with a pickle spear. The Loaded Potato Salad was thankfully not overly mayo tasting. In fact, you could taste practically everything in it, and it tasted good. As for the sandwich, I'm not much of a horseradish guy, but thankfully, the horseradish spread they used wasn't overpowering. The apple slices also gave the sandwich a nice crispiness, and overall, it was very delectable. For dessert, I got a Cinnamon Pecan Muffin. I was worried that it would either be too sweet because of the sugar topping or have too much cinnamon flavor. Thankfully, neither turned out to be the case. It ended up being a very tasty muffin. Overall, this was a fun place to have lunch.

Oh If I could give a 10 star review I would! The absolute best customer service...one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. And let me RAVE about the fresh cucumber salad. I could've bathed in that dressing. (garlic for days!) I'm happy I found my "go-to" lunch spot when I travel into town for work.

On our way to rafting at Ocoee, we stopped for lunch at Gardner's Market. So glad we did! Ambiance is a 10, so charming and unique inside. They have seating for 2 or more people at each table, many to choose from. Party of 2? Sit by the window and watch life go by. Super nice staff, quaint hometown feel. The Cuban was very moist, served on really fresh bread. The Manhattan was delicious as well. Prices were just over the $10 mark, sodas were $2-4, but so many cool ones to try that we've never heard of. So if you're going rafting or happen to be in Cleveland, GA/stop in!

A gallon of blackberry lemonade

The food is good, but the service is better! All the staff are so kind and funny. My son and I went the other day to get us a couple blackberry lemonades. My son said if he could give stars, he'd give 560 cause it's that good! Cute, quirky shop with amazing people and good food!

Potato salad, chocolate chip cookie, pickle spear, steak and cheese roast beef 6"

Wow. It was a lot better than I thought it would be. Not because interior or exterior lowered my expectations in any way, but I've had potato salad a thousand times before. What's so special about a chocolate chip cookie or roast beef sandwich when it's such a common item? How special can it be? I don't know....but something about the way they make it makes me want to become a regular here. It was SO good. The potato salad is so creamy. The toasted bread is perfect. Everything was great!

Way over priced and nothing for your return. Got a roast beef sandwich for $20 and it had little meat on it. Never again!

Blackberry lemonade is my wife's favorite and I highly suggest "the Sicilian" from the "local favorites" menu.
