I don't know exactly what Garner's Market is trying to be... and more importantly, I don't care. It's half market, half deli, half collection of random memorabilia... yes, that's three halves. The math doesn't work, but neither does this place, and somehow that's exactly why it does. I got the Natural sandwich and even as I'm writing this review, I wish it was still in my mouth. It was outstanding. The kind of sandwich that makes you wonder if you've been wasting your life eating lesser sandwiches. They also had old-timey bottled sodas that were fantastic, plus a bunch of random chip brands I'd never heard of but was immediately willing to trust. No regrets there. I grabbed a cookie that looked soft, gooey, and delicious. It nailed the delicious part but missed on the soft part. If you're a crunchy cookie person, you're in luck. If you're like me and prefer your cookies to have the structural integrity of a wet sponge, you may be disappointed. The tables were lined with comic books, which is exactly how I would decorate my house if my wife weren't constantly protecting me from myself. The staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. Garner's is quirky, unique, and packed with personality. Highly recommend if you're anywhere nearby. read more

Me and my granddaughter came into gardeners market on Broad Street a few days ago and the atmosphere is very nice, but the food is way overpriced for the value and kind of food that we're getting. I got a blackberry lemonade that was very overpriced but still tasty. It was very hard to find a table although seeing that it was extremely packed their sub sandwiches were all right, but once again very expensive. They had some seating outside, which is where me and my granddaughter ended up sitting although it was very chilly. I wish they had more space inside their little café. I hope that Gardner market is able to learn from this experience and maybe drop the price down on most of their menu items. We wanted to get a dessert, but we did not want to have to cough up a kidney for it so we went to the next shop over and got Greek yogurt, I'd rate my experience overall two out of five . read more

Let me add my name to the list of those praising Gardner's Market. If you want reliable, fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced food, go here! Not to mention, great service with friendly welcoming smiles and a unique atmosphere that makes this place the perfect spot for a good conversation over a great lunch. For our visit, we ordered a "Tea Sandwich" ($10) and a "Chicken BLT Sandwich" ($12). These are some of the best sandwiches we've had in our lives. I'm not exaggerating. Seriously, I couldn't stop gushing about them to family and friends. Every ingredient was very fresh and clearly high quality. Our meal was so good we came back the next day. The only downsides I'll note are that finding a place to park is difficult, which is not their fault. We ended up finding free parking at a parking lot located at 2nd Street and Worth Street. Secondly, there's no outdoor patio seating (would love if there was). Third, they no longer offer sprouts for their sandwiches. Lastly, be prepared for a small wait as they are making the food fresh. Regardless of all these considerations, we'll happily continue to visit and support Gardner's Market any time we're in town. read more

Loved the way placed. Loved the sandwiches the deli, I had the triple Decker don't remember what the name of it was, but the sandwich was phenomenal. The service in the deli was phenomenal the girl behind the counter and the gentleman behind the counter. We're incredibly attentive and customer orientation. The only issue I had was we bought the milk in the glass jar. It had an expiration of 3/21, but after we opened it, it was chunky and curdled on the inside and no, I am not talking about the little cream plug at the top. It was chunky throughout. First thing I want to mention is that this place adds a 3.75% processing fee if you pay with a credit card. So bring cash and your spare change. Second thing I want to mention is that they don't offer free water here. But I asked the owner and he said you can bring your own drinks. Anyway, I arrived at 1:30 PM. If you have trouble pinpointing the exact place this restaurant is at, its the one with the "Earl's Restaurant" sign on it. There is no dedicated parking lot, so you'll need to park along the street (but thankfully, you don't have to pay to park [let's pray it stays that way]). This restaurant doubles as a general store, and they have plenty of things to purchase (teas, spices, baking mixes, puzzles, etc.). The place is also full of various knick-knacks that really help nail that old timey general store vibe. They also played old timey crooner kind of music and had a TV playing 3 Stooges episodes in the dinning room area. I ordered an Amish Chicken Sandwich, and for my side, I asked the cashier (who had some great sideburns) what his recommendation would be between the Loaded Potato Salad or the Pimiento Cheese, and he suggested the Loaded Potato Salad. I asked if the sides on offer are what they typically have, and he said that while they always have the Superfood Kale and the Loaded Potato Salad, the other sides will rotate. Regarding the bathroom situation, there's only 1 bathroom. It was in decent enough condition, though I think the sink was a little low to the ground (I had to crouch to wash my hands), but that's probably because that 1 bathroom is meant to accommodate all customers. And while the bathroom had both a hand blower and paper towels, I do wish the paper towels were perforated so that you could easily tear off some. My order took about 4 minutes to arrive, and it came with a pickle spear. The Loaded Potato Salad was thankfully not overly mayo tasting. In fact, you could taste practically everything in it, and it tasted good. As for the sandwich, I'm not much of a horseradish guy, but thankfully, the horseradish spread they used wasn't overpowering. The apple slices also gave the sandwich a nice crispiness, and overall, it was very delectable. For dessert, I got a Cinnamon Pecan Muffin. I was worried that it would either be too sweet because of the sugar topping or have too much cinnamon flavor. Thankfully, neither turned out to be the case. It ended up being a very tasty muffin. It's a fun little sandwich shop with eclectic items, different drinks, and a consistently delicious menu. All the food is fresh and made by hand from some of the warmest and kindest people. Side Choices were good, and they got some crazy good drink choices like blueberry lemonade, hot teas, etc. I have no specific sandwich recommendations because you should try several different ones each time you come. Negatives are the prices are high (we had 4 people and it was almost $100), seating is limited on busy times, and bathrooms are not great. Deli type restaurant located down town Cleveland. I liked the ambience of the inside that it brings out. Tables are made of glass that you can see coffee beans that fill the inside. I got here at a perfect time which was about 10:45 am and was only the second customer in the store. I placed my order and sat down at a table where they will bring it out to you when ready. At about 11am their customers really started coming in. I got the grilled turkey philly and you can see pictures I took. I was surprised of how good it was. The bread had been toasted just right for a turkey sandwich. It was a pretty good size sandwich too for the price. So, I thought it was a good value. I parked on the side street to the left of the restaurant facing the front. I was only there for about 30 minutes. In summary, the turkey philly sandwich was great, there was no problem parking and by the time I left, they were getting busy.
