This was a wonderful place to get coffee and have brunch. The interior is very minimalist but sleek and clean. I loved the decor, plants, and dishware. Great ambiance to also just hang out or study/journal. Service was friendly and timely. I got the Iced Lavender Latte with oat milk. It was delicious, the lavender syrup was perfectly flowery and sweetened. There were so many food options on the menu, it took a while to order because everything looked so good. I ended up getting the Bruschetta Toast and the Nutella Croissant. My friend had the Acai Bowl and French Toast. The croissant was nice, pastry was large and filled with nutella. I shared with my friend and really liked the Acai bowl. It was presented beautifully and tasted very fresh. The French Toast was smaller than I thought and pretty sweet but good nonetheless. For me, the star of the show was the Bruschetta Toast. I loved everything about it: from the avocado spread, the soft mozzarella balls, the cute microgreens on top, the cherry tomatoes that add a little acidity, and the balsamic sauce. At first the balsamic smelled strongly of vinegar but it worked so well with all the ingredients, it was not overpowering as I thought. Such a well-balanced dish. I had to end the whole experience with the last bite of toast because everything else was pretty sweet, and it was just that amazing. Simple has always been my favorite coffee shop to go to whenever I'm in town to visit family. I've tried about half the drink menu, and have yet to find something I didn't like! My favorite is the Shakarado. The staff is always increasingly friendly, and gets my drink out quick! I ordered a banana nut muffin but when it came out I noticed there was mold on it and when I pointed it out I noticed that there was another muffin out for serving that also had mold on it. Turns out EVERY muffin was moldy, and I don't think they would have noticed unless I pointed it out. They did apologize and give me a different pastry, but it's still bad that they didn't notice to begin with. So, the iced horchata latte is what brought me back! Sooo yummy! I've never had horchata and was skeptical, but I'm so glad I took the chance! It's one of my fav coffee drinks now! The only food menu item I've tried has been the breakfast burrito which is equally as yummy! The space is so light and airy with lots of light flooding in and the furniture being natural colors. I love the built in couch cushions along the wall! This would be a good snuggly reading spot! The service. I've never had a problem the handful of times I've visited. The last time I was there, an older lady had a problem and was being pretty ridiculous and petty. The staff (who are younger, possibly college age) expertly diffused and handled the situation. One of the staff, a young man, didn't let this lady's attitude deter him from being kind and remedying the situation, but he also held his ground and didn't let her walk all over him. My friend and I applauded the way everyone handled the situation after the lady left. All in all, great space, great coffee, and great staff! read more

Colt and Bethany are amazing baristas. Their customer service was phenomenal. I ordered a Vietnamese coffee and avocado toast. The Vietnamese coffee was perfect, not too sweet. The avocado toast was good. I ordered it with an egg on top and balsamic glaze. I should have taken a picture! My daughter ordered an Orchata Latte. She loved it. Love the ambiance. Great place to hangout, read/study, etc. Their coffee/drinks are delicious and they have a lot of unique options as well as your classic coffee drinks. The flat white and horchata latte are my favorite. For those that need it, they have alternative milk options like oat and almond milk. Absolutely the BEST choice today! Everything about the little cafe was fantastic! The wait staff was precious! She was patient while we made our selections and helpful with our decisions. I had a lavender coffee and the hubs had regular coffee...both totally on point. My son chose the açaí bowl and he was beyond thrilled.
