Nice southern diner frequented by the older folks in town. Just what you'd expect. Not a disappointment at all. I enjoyed my breakfast.

Food is always great! That being said, it isn't a place you'd go if trying to eat healthier, does not have the healthiest options (Turkey bacon, spinach, mushrooms). Saturday mornings are busy, however, the staff pulls together to get tables cleaned as quick as possible and you served. Nice "home" feel.

Stopped here while on a MC road trip for breakfast and glad I did. It was on a four lane and missed it so had to turn around. Has it's own parking lot and is obviously a local favorite. Typical "Mom and Pop" type place. I had the eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and potatoes with coffee and it was quite a bit of food. I originally asked for hash browns and the waitress told me they are like McDonald's and recommended the cut potatoes instead and they were excellent! Not much to say about the place except great home style cooking with a friendly staff. I will definitely come again if in the area. 4++

Stopped in to Wanda's for the first time the other day and had some breakfast. The meal was great and very affordable and the service was friendly. I had a bacon egg and cheese biscuit a side of oatmeal and a coffee and around me just over $4.

Inside of Wanda's at down time.

Nope, don't care for this place. Don't like the food or the health department reports.

Great little hometown restaurant. Their sweet tea is super light though for some reason. Basically just sugar water. But great food.

Two of our party are locals and regulars and had the Fried Chicken Fried Rice, which they said was their favorite. And they were pleased with their meals. I was hoping for a specific dish to be available, and was glad when I saw that Beef Bourguignon was chalked onto the specials door at the front. It was served with a nice piece of toasted bread and the sauce was nice and thick (if is watery it can ruin the mashed potatoes). The flavors were spot on, although I was saddened that it did not have the traditional pearl onions. It was garnished with curls of carrot which were too dry and tough to enjoy, so I pushed them aside. Service was good and we didn't have trouble getting drink refills. All the orders were correct and the owner came by once to check on us. Their seating also includes a large covered patio, which was actually in use by some brave patrons since the sun was chasing some of the chill away.

They decorated the plate for a piece of cake we dared order after growing full on the main course, saying "Happy Anniversary!" with hearts, which we weren't expecting but were very grateful for. We had one tiny problem with a cracked bar glass for my beer but that was corrected quickly enough.

We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated right away. Our server introduced himself, he was friendly & very attentive. Very pleased with our service! They only have 4 beers from Common John Brewery, but we knew they didn't have the full liquor license yet. We both like Common John, so we were fine with this. Coke products, tea & water were the other choices. I'm always fine with just water with my meal. My husband ordered a couple of beers...he liked both. We started with the caramelized onion dip as an appetizer. It was delicious! We ate it all! My husband ordered the pork chop & mashed potatoes & street corn as his sides. He loved everything! I tasted his pork chop & street corn and I think his pork chop was the best I've ever had! Street corn was so good...I'll order next time! I ordered the NY steak (medium rare), it was cooked perfectly. My sides were mashed potatoes & roasted brussel sprouts. Loved it all, but next time I'll order the street corn & brussel sprouts!! Yum!! We will definitely be going back!! Several items I still want to try! So happy to have Binninger-Schwartz in Manchester!! Highly recommend!

We were promptly seated. The tables for 2 are a little smaller than they should be. I was worried I was going to knock over a drink. The Easter brunch menu was a pre fixed tasting menu that was prepaid through open table. It was absolutely outstanding! It started with deviled eggs and rolls with ground mustard and prosciutto. Delicious! Then out came a salad with beautiful butter lettuce and these fresh roasted carrots. Both were fantastic. Third course was these huge slices of lamb, potato's au gratin and gnocchi. Everything was made with the freshest ingredients. They did not miss a beat. Dessert was a citrus cake with the perfect butter cream frosting. I left there stuffed! I also enjoyed their Bloody Mary. It was spiced perfectly. I would definitely go back and would love ton try their dinner menu. This place is really a hidden gem tucked away on the mountain in Sewanee. We drove over an hour to come here and it was well worth it.
