A little busy for Sunday brunch, but it's a popular spot in a popular location. Parking can be a challenge in this area so plan accordingly. Service was good, and food came quickly. By the way their house hot sauce is Muy excellente! The ambiance is kind of industrial meets southern, and it's a bit noisy inside. Incredibly rude staff experience after they skipped our online check in. We checked in online and were quoted 17-22 mins. Arrive in 15 mins and spend a few minutes trying to find parking. Check the text messages and find out they removed us from the waitlist BEFORE the lowest quoted wait time. We go in to see what happened and they said we never responded to messages WE JUST GOT. Then they said that our table was still available, but it is a high top for our 2yr old. We are then told we would have to wait AN HOUR to get another table. The staff was completely rude and unaccommodating. This was our first and LAST time ever going to this restaurant. read more

I met some friends for brunch at 12:30 today. Quickly, all of the tables were full, with Christmas music playing and an industrial feel. We all ordered drinks and food. Our server was attentive and efficient. She checked on us multiple times. She brought out our food and it was great! I had the Shrimp and grits which was a little spicy, but I loved it! All of our plates looked and tasted wonderful! Yes, I asked. Lol I would say though for you to save your drink money for another plate, have water with your meal and make a run to the store if you want a mimosa, etc. I have had them at many other places around town for minimal cost. Their's were about 6 oz for $9 which seemed to be about standard for their menu in the cocktail section. Just saying.... I'm frugal that way. read more

We were seated right away and our server took our drink order. I ordered the yard skillet which is scrambled eggs and veggies, it was delicious. My hubs ordered the creole omelet. It was huge! He said it was good. Since they are a breakfast and brunch place, they serve cocktails however I just had coffee. There big screen TVs at the bar but on a weekday for breakfast it was quiet so you could hear what was being said. Prices are commensurate with First Watch. read more

Ambiance nice for a breakfast place , I might go back to give them a second chance ? IMO the biscuits & gravy are Premade & out of a can & we're served cold and tasteless ! Pancakes apparently were ok, Potatoes were extra & again tasteless!!! Chef's obviously don't taste their food Or they are smokers ? Overpriced food . Good luck read more

A couple months ago we were in Chattanooga for the weekend. We have a Big Bad Breakfast near us (we live in Hoover, AL), but we have never eaten there. We tried a couple of times, but the wait was too long. Anyway, we saw this one in Chattanooga and decided to try it. Hubby ordered some kind of egg breakfast, and it was enough for two or three people. I ordered oatmeal, and it came in the biggest bowl ever. We enjoyed the food and will definitely go back to a Big Bad Breakfast when the opportunity arises. read more

My sister is visiting and we both wanted steak and eggs. I heard things about BBB so placed a to go order. And I'm glad I did. It was quite easy to order online and my order was ready (and still hot) when I arrived. We both had fries with our meal since we didn't know what the potato cake is. They should add a picture or two to help newbies out. Nevertheless, the fries were hitting!! The steak was good despite being over cooked. I asked for medium and received well-done. Sk you may want to go one level diem to be safe. I would definitely return!! read more

I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. Once I looked at the pastry items, I knew the Blueberry Lavender scone had my name all over it! We didn't know and went straight to outdoor seating, which worked out because we got a table and about a minute later we figured out the ordering process. I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!

I have eaten at this specific restaurant over 15 times. The quality of service has gone downhill since it first opened. The girl at the front counter took my phone number and name 3 different times. Then she called out my name incorrectly and I almost did not get my table (Valentine's Day after waiting for 45 minutes). The girl that delivered the food to our table flung the plate and half my fries went on the table (Nasty). She did not apologize or offer to replace fries, but simply walked away. The waitress came to our table after we finished eating. We almost decided to get up and get our own water and coffee refill. I will be eating at Milk and Honey and First Watch. I actually live across the street from BBB. Please train your employees on manners and service. I will be telling my friends about this experience. read more
