Nice breakfast spot with plenty of choices from simple eggs and biscuits to wonderful huevos rancheros . Eggs were cooked perfectly. Pleasant waitstaff.

Stopped in before our lodge purchases. I got the breakfast sampler with eggs, spicy bacon-great flavor, hash brown triangles that were so good, and a huge biscuit. The cold brew was also tasty.

Great coffee and they had heavy cream and honey on request

Fantastic restaurant with Great ambiance, service and delicious farm fresh food. Went on a Monday morning, wasn't too crowded. Delicious Coffee and they had honey and heavy cream.... I ordered the Low Country Skillet and it was large enough for two, came with biscuit and homemade blueberry jam! Perfection!! Hubby ordered the Creole Omelet and it was fab! Lots of shrimp and a light creole sauce.... highly recommend this spot and we'll be back

Amazing place!! The food was delicious and very affordable. The Vietnamese cold brew was awesome. Our server was very kind and attentive. The inside is like any other breakfast place but the food was worth it!

We got sat right away and the server was friendly. The food was really good and my drink was nice. It was spacious inside and had a small outdoor seating area.

This place was fun, funky and offered really good food! Our server was so good, and handled our large party very well! She was so interactive and I loved that she was very sweet to the kids we had with us! Everyone loved their meals! I'm sure I would visit this place again if I'm in the area! Make sure you plan well as they do have limited hours!

Plenty of parking but lot gets full with other businesses so may not be as close to door. Can join waitlist online prior to arrival to help with wait. Was seating fast during busy Sunday brunch time. Service was great and food came fast and was food. Nice coffee and latte, cappuccino options as well.

Fried Oyster Scramble "Hangtown Style" Huevos Rancheros Tomato Gravy with side of Spicy Bacon

What a great find! We try to stick to non-chain restaurants and while this is a small chain it was totally worth it. I was hooked when I saw the Hangtown Fry and tomato gravy on the menu & they did not disappoint. It was actually so good that we went back a second time. My husband got the huevos rancheros both times!

Brûlées grapefruit, spicy bacon, Weisenberger grits, biscuit & soft butter. Fresh squeezed grapefruit with vodka!

Everything is perfect! Breakfast & bar atmosphere! Like a dream! Find one and fall in love!

The jack benny
Cherry K.

The jack benny, a version of eggs benedict, was so delicious! The wait was minimal, even to get seated and receive our food. I also had an order of the vietnamese cold brew, and I strongly recommend! Check this place out if you want to enjoy a nice brunch.

Vanessa N.

I got the Mother of all biscuits, which is a dill chicken breast, cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. I wished I had upgraded the biscuit and made it a dirty bird (hot sauce, bacon, and honey) because it was dry and salty. The dill flavor stands out and differentiates the chicken from all the other chicken biscuits places. However, this needs to come with gravy or at least make it another add-on/upgrade.

We loved this place the first couple of times. Lately the poached eggs are over cooked, hollandaise sauce is very thin even frothy.

We went for breakfast, and despite the fact that they…read moredon't take reservations, we didn't have to wait at all which already felt like a small miracle. Our server Katie was fantastic. Since it was our first visit and everything on the menu spoke to us, she helped steer us in the right direction. I ended up ordering the pistachio croissant, and honestly... I'd go back for that alone. It was warm, huge by croissant standards, and absolutely heavenly. I even grabbed another one to take home because Future Me deserved a little happiness too. We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Your only regret will be not getting a second one.

We spent some time outside before being seated, but the food and service made it worth it. I stayed in my carrier throughout the meal and was able to join my humans indoors. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and never made us feel out of place. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was attentive even though the restaurant was busy. Now for the most important part of this review. While enjoying brunch, I witnessed something I never expected to see: a baby goat riding around the restaurant in a pet stroller. At that moment, I realized Chattanooga may be one of the most pet-friendly places I've ever visited. Between the great food, kind staff, and unforgettable people-watching opportunities, Milk & Honey ended up being one of our favorite brunch stops of the trip. Dogba's verdict: Excellent brunch, friendly service, comfortable carrier dining, and unexpected goat encounters. Five paws !

My husband ordered ahi tuna bowl and it was fresh, great veggies and ahi was great. I had the chicken po boy with confusion potatoes. The seasoning on potatoes was so excellent we bought a bottle of the seasoning. (And one is on every table for use in case you want more). Their glasses baguette was fresh and chunky with yummiest sauce. Chicken was juicy and seasoned perfect. But the best sort was put altogether with the cucumbers, lettuce and tomato...it was a hot sandwich that was refreshing and not too filling on a blazing hot day. A lot of the seating here is outdoors, which I liked and there is also a large indoor bar area. Parking was tough as this is in the entertainment district and it was a Friday night. We were seated at an outdoor low table as they had high tops as well. Our server was with us quickly, but then disappeared for awhile. She was good at suggestions and knew the menu. We got the Mexican Ceviche to start as it had shrimp. It took a long time to come out, but was so good and worth the wait. The cojita cheese was unique and went well with the dish. We also didn't have enough chips, but htey brought us more free of charge to polish off the rest of the ceviche with. For my entree, I got the Parilla steak and shrimp and it was a large portion. The sauce was amazing and the potato crisps were a nice touch. It took some time to pay as well as that was the theme of the night, I think they were understaffed, but otherwise a great experience.

Even a little after 10am on a Saturday, you can tell this place is a very popular hangout. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, but the line moves fast. I concur with other reviewers that the staff is so friendly, helpful and energetic. I ordered a Cafe Au Lait with a shot of caramel syrup. Once I looked at the pastry items, I knew the Blueberry Lavender scone had my name all over it! I sat outside on a sidewalk bistro table and enjoyed both items immensely on a gorgeous Chattanooga morning. This place also has inside seating as well as a nice patio setup. So happy I got to experience this place! (P.S. The line is still out the door when I left!) :)

You enter into a broad space with merchandise and tables with a counter of breads and dessert…read moretreats. The idea is to order and pay at the counter and to receive a number for your table. We didn't know and went straight to outdoor seating, which worked out because we got a table and about a minute later we figured out the ordering process. I ordered the chicken salad croissant for my wife, then the California club for myself and then I had to order quiche Lorraine for the table. I had filtered tap water for my drink and my wife had a can of Diet Coke with a slice of lemon and ice in a cup, provided. Service was pretty quick, between our order placement and table delivery it was 7 minutes. The quiche was custardy inside with a delicious hint of caramelized shallots to go with the bacon and cheese/egg filling. The bacon did not overwhelm. The crust was perfectly baked and a nice flakey crust. The accompanying arugula and onion salad dresses with oil and vinegar and seasonings was an excellent pairing of freshness with the richer quiche. This is a big hit, as expected when advertised on the menu as "available until sold out." The California Club was on 6 grain toasted bread with an avocado spread and aioli, bacon, turkey, tomato and lettuce. I really liked the balance of each component in this sandwich, such that nothing dominated the flavors and each distinctive was individually identifiable in the contribution to the whole sandwich. The portion was just right. The chicken salad was also good, but was the bronze medal winner compared to the other two. The croissant was flaky, but not too much. The chicken salad had just a hint of lemon and was not overwhelmed with aioli, just the right balance. This was a fantastic meal. We liked this so much, we chose to buy two loaves of bread to go, a Chattanooga Sourdough and a garlic Parmesan and also a 5 lb bag of in house ground bread flour. I need one of these in Greenville, SC, my hometown. Last thing to note, you bus your own table and there is a dish basin nearby the outside dining area in which to place your dishes. This was an excellent lunch spot. The staff were also friendly and patiently helpful. This is a must visit spot when visiting or living in Chattanooga!

I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough (they also offer gluten-free and multigrain) with cashew cheese and a side of chili. I also got a beet juice, a lemon lavender muffin, chia seed pudding, and a decaf oat milk latte. The sandwich was pretty good. The bread seemed really fresh and I enjoyed the cashew cheese. The side of chili had a slight twist that elevated it above most regular chili recipes. It was good, but had a little too much corn for my taste personally. The beet juice was delicious and a generous portion. The desserts were just okay, but I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet and didn't have any weird ingredients.
