Plenty of parking but lot gets full with other businesses so may not be as close to door. Can join waitlist online prior to arrival to help with wait. Was seating fast during busy Sunday brunch time. What a great find! We try to stick to non-chain restaurants and while this is a small chain it was totally worth it. I was hooked when I saw the Hangtown Fry and tomato gravy on the menu & they did not disappoint. It was actually so good that we went back a second time. I met some friends for brunch at 12:30 today. Quickly, all of the tables were full, with Christmas music playing and an industrial feel. We all ordered drinks and food. Our server was attentive and efficient. She checked on us multiple times. She brought out our food and it was great! I had the Shrimp and grits which was a little spicy, but I loved it! All of our plates looked and tasted wonderful! Yes, I asked. Lol I would say though for you to save your drink money for another plate, have water with your meal and make a run to the store if you want a mimosa, etc. I have had them at many other places around town for minimal cost. Their's were about 6 oz for $9 which seemed to be about standard for their menu in the cocktail section. Just saying.... I'm frugal that way. read more

I got the Mother of all biscuits, which is a dill chicken breast, cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. I wished I had upgraded the biscuit and made it a dirty bird (hot sauce, bacon, and honey) because it was dry and salty. We were seated right away and our server took our drink order. I ordered the yard skillet which is scrambled eggs and veggies, it was delicious. My hubs ordered the creole omelet. It was huge! He said it was good. Since they are a breakfast and brunch place, they serve cocktails however I just had coffee. A couple months ago we were in Chattanooga for the weekend. We have a Big Bad Breakfast near us (we live in Hoover, AL), but we have never eaten there. We tried a couple of times, but the wait was too long. Anyway, we saw this one in Chattanooga and decided to try it. Hubby ordered some kind of egg breakfast, and it was enough for two or three people. I ordered oatmeal, and it came in the biggest bowl ever. My sister is visiting and we both wanted steak and eggs. I heard things about BBB so placed a to go order. And I'm glad I did. It was quite easy to order online and my order was ready (and still hot) when I arrived. We both had fries with our meal since we didn't know what the potato cake is. They should add a picture or two to help newbies out. Nevertheless, the fries were hitting!! The steak was good despite being over cooked. I asked for medium and received well-done. Greeted at the door, immediately seated, asked about drink orders by our server and were given time to look over a delicious-sounding menu. Fabulously comfortable and fun setting. Our table ordered a traditional breakfast with scrambled eggs, a spicy breakfast sausage link and wheat toast with strawberry jam; breakfast hash with oysters; plain pancakes with crispy bacon and the special granny smith apple pancakes. I loved everything about my meal. It was flavorful, dynamic, full of texture. It had that spice from the serrano peppers, crispy and flavorful potatoes, and the sauce tied it all together. I love savory breakfast, and that was it. Now I'm hungry and missing my previous meal just writing about it haha. Afterwards, we got gelato! I was pleasantly surprised that the gelato came with two scoops because I originally just wanted the coffee flavored one. So I had a scoop of Coffee + Cream and Pistachio. Our gelato was so tasty. Mother's Days are challenging, but I think where they hurt themselves the most is that they do not have a method to take reservations or even call ahead seating. I doubt it was a shining example of what they are capable of. I got the Shakshuka and it was mediocre. I'm not expecting it to be as good as what I would get in Tel Aviv, and I've had the real thing in Tel Aviv. But to be honest, the eggs came out nearly hard-boiled not poached. And the eggs are one of the stars of the show for this dish. If you don't get them right, the entire dish fails. Next will touch on the chicken and waffles. The observation from my tablemate was that it was dry and he didn't even eat it all. The same thing can be said for my other tablemate who had the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was exemplary, but the chicken was dry and actually overcooked. Then there were the omelettes, I don't believe they were impressive in any way and the people that ordered them agree. I was a little nervous about the basil, but I can genuinely say it was my favorite drink of my entire trip. Lastly I want to say a special thank you to the staff. We thought we weren't going to be able to find a table, but when we found one at the last second, they actually offered to switch my meal to a skillet since they can't do those to go. Absolutely a five star experience and I am already anticipating my next visit.

If one can't walk that far there is parking around the warehouse that Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and other shops are located in. It was a quiet afternoon around 2 pm. Our waitress was prompt and answered our questions. I was happy to see they had gluten free bread/buns. I ordered the Whisky and onion smash burger on a gluten free bun and it was so good I tried to replicate the topping with what I had back at the Airbnb we were staying at. When I get home I'll check out the ingredients better and give it another try. I had a side of green beans nicely seasoned with bacon as my side. My husband, bless his heart, ordered the honey pecan chicken salad sandwich on gluten free bread so I could taste it. It was also delicious and he had a side of home fries to die for. We would definitely come back and try more of their menu if in the area again.

I doubled the eggs order to four and chose the bacon and added a side of stewed black beans (so glad I did). First, I started with a glass of Beaujolais, which was quite nice. When the food arrived, the first thing that struck me was that I got cold butter in its own nice tin. I can't tell you how uncommon this is, even in finer dining. Usually, you get olive oil instead of butter, and if you ask for butter, it's in one of those wrappers. This was the real thing, not whipped, and I didn't have to ask specially for it. The eggs were delicate and seasoned beautifully, and the bacon was hearty and high-end and crispy. The grits are unbelievable, and the stewed beans are homemade and subtle, smooth as butter. I was amazed; the sides were really at the forefront. The kitchen isn't fast, so don't be in a hurry when you're here. Even the glass of wine took a few, and it was not busy. But it's also a nice place to relax and soak up the ambience, either indoors or out. And I appreciated that the food was so well made that I didn't mind the wait. Hats off to Stafford, who was my server. She checked up on me frequently. She was efficient and personable. They are lucky to have her! I had a beautifully crafted cortado espresso at the end, served traditionally with the fizzy water on the side. This is my favorite espresso as it is a strong pour but has just a bit of hot milk at the top to cut the acidity. It was excellent. Frankly, I was impressed they even knew what it was, so if you're just getting coffee, they'll also be the right place. I obviously recommend this place for its food, ambience, service. It was a treat and I hope to go back next time I'm in town.

The strawberry lemonade was so sweet that I added water twice to it, but could not drink it and eventually took it home and later the next day at additional water to help balance out the sweetness. The donut on the other hand, was not that sweet. It was a basic donut with a little bit of chocolate, coconut flakes and almond flakes. It was not that good and I was quite disappointed. My friend ordered a cinnamon roll and raved about it the entire time plus other friends ordered coffee and they all enjoyed it. So definitely a place to come back for coffee.
