This restaurant was a delightful discovery. Later learned that it's a chain, but not widely advertised. The location I visited was part of the Lodge Cast Iron factory store in South Pittsburg, but they reportedly also have one in the Manufacturers Road area. Cheerful service and an intriguing menu. Includes alcohol. Among the items ordered: eggs, bacon, grits, hash brown cakes, sausage, French toast, coffee. We noticed staff cleaning the tables very carefully and thoroughly every time a customer left. Strongly recommended. Kid-friendly. A little busy for Sunday brunch, but it's a popular spot in a popular location. Parking can be a challenge in this area so plan accordingly. Service was good, and food came quickly. By the way their house hot sauce is Muy excellente! The ambiance is kind of industrial meets southern, and it's a bit noisy inside. Incredibly rude staff experience after they skipped our online check in. We checked in online and were quoted 17-22 mins. Arrive in 15 mins and spend a few minutes trying to find parking. Check the text messages and find out they removed us from the waitlist BEFORE the lowest quoted wait time. We go in to see what happened and they said we never responded to messages WE JUST GOT. Then they said that our table was still available, but it is a high top for our 2yr old. We are then told we would have to wait AN HOUR to get another table. The staff was completely rude and unaccommodating. This was our first and LAST time ever going to this restaurant. read more

What a great find! We try to stick to non-chain restaurants and while this is a small chain it was totally worth it. I got the Mother of all biscuits, which is a dill chicken breast, cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. I wished I had upgraded the biscuit and made it a dirty bird (hot sauce, bacon, and honey) because it was dry and salty. The dill flavor stands out and differentiates the chicken from all the other chicken biscuits places. However, this needs to come with gravy or at least make it another add-on/upgrade. read more

A couple months ago we were in Chattanooga for the weekend. We have a Big Bad Breakfast near us (we live in Hoover, AL), but we have never eaten there. We tried a couple of times, but the wait was too long. Anyway, we saw this one in Chattanooga and decided to try it. Hubby ordered some kind of egg breakfast, and it was enough for two or three people. I ordered oatmeal, and it came in the biggest bowl ever. It was quite easy to order online and my order was ready (and still hot) when I arrived. We both had fries with our meal since we didn't know what the potato cake is. They should add a picture or two to help newbies out. Nevertheless, the fries were hitting!! The steak was good despite being over cooked. I asked for medium and received well-done.
