A little busy for Sunday brunch, but it's a popular spot in a popular location. Parking can be a challenge in this area so plan accordingly. Service was good, and food came quickly. By the way their house hot sauce is Muy excellente! The ambiance is kind of industrial meets southern, and it's a bit noisy inside. Incredibly rude staff experience after they skipped our online check in. We checked in online and were quoted 17-22 mins. Arrive in 15 mins and spend a few minutes trying to find parking. Check the text messages and find out they removed us from the waitlist BEFORE the lowest quoted wait time. We go in to see what happened and they said we never responded to messages WE JUST GOT. Then they said that our table was still available, but it is a high top for our 2yr old. We are then told we would have to wait AN HOUR to get another table. The staff was completely rude and unaccommodating. This was our first and LAST time ever going to this restaurant. read more

I got the Mother of all biscuits, which is a dill chicken breast, cheese, and buttermilk biscuit. I wished I had upgraded the biscuit and made it a dirty bird (hot sauce, bacon, and honey) because it was dry and salty. The dill flavor stands out and differentiates the chicken from all the other chicken biscuits places. However, this needs to come with gravy or at least make it another add-on/upgrade. read more

I met some friends for brunch at 12:30 today. Quickly, all of the tables were full, with Christmas music playing and an industrial feel. We all ordered drinks and food. Our server was attentive and efficient. She checked on us multiple times. She brought out our food and it was great! I had the Shrimp and grits which was a little spicy, but I loved it! All of our plates looked and tasted wonderful! Yes, I asked. Lol I would say though for you to save your drink money for another plate, have water with your meal and make a run to the store if you want a mimosa, etc. I have had them at many other places around town for minimal cost. We were seated right away and our server took our drink order. I ordered the yard skillet which is scrambled eggs and veggies, it was delicious. My hubs ordered the creole omelet. It was huge! He said it was good. Since they are a breakfast and brunch place, they serve cocktails however I just had coffee. A couple months ago we were in Chattanooga for the weekend. We have a Big Bad Breakfast near us (we live in Hoover, AL), but we have never eaten there. We tried a couple of times, but the wait was too long. Anyway, we saw this one in Chattanooga and decided to try it. Hubby ordered some kind of egg breakfast, and it was enough for two or three people. I ordered oatmeal, and it came in the biggest bowl ever. My sister is visiting and we both wanted steak and eggs. I heard things about BBB so placed a to go order. And I'm glad I did. It was quite easy to order online and my order was ready (and still hot) when I arrived. We both had fries with our meal since we didn't know what the potato cake is. They should add a picture or two to help newbies out. Nevertheless, the fries were hitting!! The steak was good despite being over cooked. I asked for medium and received well-done. I told her I was excited to dine here, specifically in the bar, based on reviewers comments. Her friendliness and positive attitude assured me I made the right decision. However, the bar area was not as inviting or welcoming as the evening progressed. My bartender was cordial and asked if I wanted a cocktail. I asked if this place makes a good Cosmopolitan. He said "Do you like it tart or sweet?" (Never been asked that before, but I appreciated the question.) I said "tart" and he made me the BEST Cosmopolitan I've had in a while! It was served half in a glass and the rest in a small decanter surrounded in a glass of ice. Great presentation and even better drink! Just a touch of pink and nice and strong. 5 star start! Then, it went downhill. I ordered the Wedge Salad ($9) and the Seared Scallops ($18), both under the "Starters, Small Plates" section. Both were very good, with excellent presentation. I should have realized the "Small Plates" would only provide a few scallops (3), but they were very well prepared and quite good. After I ordered and the food was provided, little customer service was given thereafter. I had to ask for water refills twice. (When I finally asked for my check, I got a refill without asking.) During this time, only one other customer was in the bar. The two bartenders were talking to another employee about a streaming finale one recently watched. Eventually, the second bartender came onto my side and I asked if I could order one more item from him since my bartender never came back. (The first bartender was Josh, which I discovered when I got the bill receipt.) The other bartender took my order for the Pot Roast Nachos (as I still somewhat hungry) and the Nachos were absolutely fantastic, just like the reviews recommended. At 8pm, I left as I was the only patron left in the bar (I wonder why?) and they were cleaning up even though closing was still an hour away. The bill for two cocktails and the food mentioned above came to $77. Then, $13 was added for Tennessee state/county tax and also liquor/wine tax!!! Was my meal and service worth $100, not really. As I left, I saw the personable Drew and she asked me how the evening went. I explained and she apologized that it did not meet my expectations. I said I just think I came on an off night. However, maybe she should tell management that if only one customer is left at the bar, you should treat them with the attention and respect as anyone who came in earlier. I don't feel I received the service I deserved for the price I paid so sadly, I can only provide a review based on this one time experience.

I have eaten at this specific restaurant over 15 times. The quality of service has gone downhill since it first opened. The girl at the front counter took my phone number and name 3 different times. Then she called out my name incorrectly and I almost did not get my table (Valentine's Day after waiting for 45 minutes). The girl that delivered the food to our table flung the plate and half my fries went on the table (Nasty). She did not apologize or offer to replace fries, but simply walked away. The waitress came to our table after we finished eating. We almost decided to get up and get our own water and coffee refill. I will be eating at Milk and Honey and First Watch.
