The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Chicken St. Charles Benedict with the stone-ground grits, and both were so good. I also tried the Pride Takes Flight mimosa flight, which was the perfect addition to brunch! Our server Crystal was excellent. She made our experience this morning so great! She knew the menu from the inside out and was able to make the adjustments that we needed. Came here for breakfast during IronMan weekend. The staff were very accommodating, efficient and welcoming. I sat at the bar and in just 15 minutes the entire restaurant became packed. Great spot! Got here early in the morning so not busy at all. Our waitress was so sweet and even reached out to a friend to help us with questions we had about a local distillery. This breakfast was my favorite from our entire trip. The goat cheese in the Florentine omelette was fantastic! And the homemade biscuit was muahhh! They are tasty, but the fried green tomato wasn't the star of the show. Cuban bowl was yummy! A dash of hot sauce and it was perfection. Hot sauce was already on the table. Came with these fried plantain chips. Would have preferred real fried plantains. Chips were tasteless and useless. Vanilla latte was tasty, but the cup was overfilled with ice so I might have gotten 4 oz of drink. Food was absolutely delicious! I love a place that served migas and they did not disappoint. The Benny was delicious too, as were the peach cobbler beignets (the actual best part of the meal!). We sat on the patio and it was absolutely lovely. Service was great too! The only downfall, and the reason for the 1 star deduction was the cocktails (well mocktails). They were highlighted on the menu and were both undrinkable. They tasted old, watered down, just absolutely terrible. And expensive! I have been to this location in Florida the one in Florida was much better. The food at this one wasn't terrible, but definitely nothing to write home about. For instance we both had eggs Benedict. Everyone knows that eggs Benedict. The eggs are soft cooked meaning you cut the middle the yolk comes out . There were actual hard boiled egg type not an egg Benedict for an egg. The coffee wasn't that great and the service could've been a little better. The food was a three stars meaning if we're in a pinch, I would go back here for breakfast. Talk about the highlight of our overnight stay! A truly wonderful meal. My friend and I started off with cocktails (I had the blood orange mimosa, and she had the amaretto iced coffee) that were excellent and really set the tone. Not a bad bite for me throughout the meal. We ordered the apple pie beignets to share, and I had the florentine omelet and my friend had the sweet heat chicken with grits and brussels. The side salad for my omelet was not dressed, but other than that no issue in my meal. I checked in with yelp and got a free starter, so we added the fried green tomatoes to our meal. Mixed review on that as my friend was not a fan, but I liked them a lot. Overall, this was a great place for a casual weekend brunch. After a long time a man that seemed like a manager brought out our cold food and eventually the long pricey bill. unfortunately the omelet was dry we couldn't eat it, my sons apple juice tasted like it was expired. french toast was well below average and didn't come with syrup. we had to ask for (and then wait) for syrup. The biscuit and scrambled eggs were pretty good (my lovely bride brought them to life with her own bottle of Valentina sauce), but the potatoes were old and had clearly been reheated. I LOVE RUBY SUNSHINE. Can I just make that my review? My husband and I were looking for a new breakfast spot and tried Ruby Sunshine almost a year ago. We instantly knew it would become one of our favorite places! I've had their breakfast tacos without meat- which are delicious. It comes with a few side options. I have tried both home fries and grits as sides and enjoyed both. I've just had plain grits with butter but you can get cheesy grits which I'm sure are amazing. My husband usually gets chicken and french toast bites which he says is packed full of flavor and is delicious. His grandmother tried a BYO omelette and enjoyed it. And, his grandfather tried the regular pancakes and was without complaints. I recently took my Mom to Ruby Sunshine and we tried the build-your-own omelette. We really loved it but it is pricey. You will be charged an egg surcharge but you will also be charged extra for veggies and certain cheeses. Our two omelettes and grits were very pricey. We did add pico as a side for additional flavor but would skip that next time. The pico was not very good and wasn't worth the extra charge. Though I enjoyed the omelette, I wouldn't order it every time because of the price. The staff are always nice. The restaurant is clean and usually easy to get into. I would suggest making an appointment if it's a weekend. Parking can be a challenge since it is all street parking. read more

Took 30 minutes just to get drinks and then the waitress Hannah spills an entire glass of water on my friend doesn't even say sorry then proceeds to take another 15 minutes to get the rest of drinks. Food was subpar. They forgot half the tables food and didn't get the rest to us until half the table was already done eating. Booked a reservation on line Saturday night for a group of 12 Sunday morning - so easy! Seated quickly upon arriving, staff were very friendly and accommodating. Bloody Mary, Peach Bellini, Mimosa, all were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their food selections with the Trifecta being especially notable.
