Egg,sausage, and cheese with fruit and an iced coffee

Service was great and the food was delicious! I got the iced salted caramel latte with an egg, sausage, and cheese biscuit. I subbed the biscuit for a croissant. It's not listed as an option on the menu, but I highly recommend it! The croissant is soft, buttery, and flaky...literally all you could ask for in a croissant! The fruit was also fresh and my latte was tasty, too. I will definitely be back!

I love this place so much and come to it every time I go to Chattanooga! Everything I've had off the menus has been great! 45 min wait but well worth it on a Saturday for brunch. Staff is great and it's so cute!

Tanka Jahari here Pt.2, on a very serious note, shout out to our server Tanner. He was on that grind, and it was pretty busy. The last time we came in, we felt like our last server didn't check on us enough, and I really wanted syrup. Regardless of that, she was very sweet. (Again, I didn't ask, but by the time I could, I was about done with my food.) Tanner came and checked on us a lot, and I got my syrup this time (I asked this time lolll). But thank you, Tanner, for making our experience smooth even how busy it was

We went for brunch on Sunday and there was 45 minute wait. The service was really great. People are all very friendly and warm. Food was also on point and generous. There are good vegetarian and vegan options available. I loved how huge the beverages menu was. It was a busy ambience but loved the vibe. Highly recommend!!

Stopped here while visiting Chattanooga. The inside is very mellow and sleek. Service was great. We were greeted warmly and everything came out within a good amount of time. I had the Hot Mess sandwich and it was very tasty. The hubs was pleased with his chicken and waffles. I will eat here again on my next Chattanooga trip.

Milk and honey is a chatt staple and I come here almost every time I come home for break. My go to is the hodgepodge hash but I've had a few other of their sweet items. The service is always pretty fast.

This was a great lunch spot with an attached coffee and gelato spot. We came on a busy saturday, so there was a bit of a wait but it was not bad at all. There was indoor and outdoor seating, the indoor seating was a little cramped though. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the kale salad on the side. I loved the salad and I just wish there were less raisins, but overall it was excellent. The sandwich itself was definitely a little dry, but i fixed it up with some ranch on the side. Overall I would return here! Lots of great options.

Ask the Community - Milk & Honey

Any gluten free biscuit options or bread?

Hi Molly, we offer Udi's Gluten Free bread but do not have a gluten free biscuit option. We also offer a gluten free Lemon Poppyseed muffin. Our omelets are gluten free and so are our fries, we cook them in a separate fryer to keep them this way.

    Is this restaurant dog friendly?

I doubt they allow dogs inside other than service animals. They have a patio though, they may allow pets out there, a lot of restaurants do. I'd give them a call to verify

Is this place open tomorrow Sep 2, 2019?

    Yes!

Does rupi kaer own this place? or did she write her collection based off of this? i really need to know

No. Taylor Monen is the owner.

I was hesitant when we arrived, seeing a line out the door and around the corner. However that line moved so fasts Nied did amazing getting people in and out. They had a huge selection of merch that was themed perfect to their mission and goals. The "We're all bread inside" design was probably my favorite. For meals, I got the Niedlov's Breakfast and my friend got the Ham and Gruyère Skillet. I loved what I got, but when I go again I think I will try a skillet because they all smelled amazing! I also got a Gruyère Bacon Chive Scone and a Orange Pan Suisse to take on the road. Both were outstanding. For my drink, I got one of their Blueberry Basil Matcha. I was a little nervous about the basil, but I can genuinely say it was my favorite drink of my entire trip. Lastly I want to say a special thank you to the staff. We thought we weren't going to be able to find a table, but when we found one at the last second, they actually offered to switch my meal to a skillet since they can't do those to go. Absolutely a five star experience and I am already anticipating my next visit.

If one can't walk that far there is parking around the warehouse that Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and other shops are located in. It was a quiet afternoon around 2 pm. Our waitress was prompt and answered our questions. I was happy to see they had gluten free bread/buns. I ordered the Whisky and onion smash burger on a gluten free bun and it was so good I tried to replicate the topping with what I had back at the Airbnb we were staying at. When I get home I'll check out the ingredients better and give it another try. I had a side of green beans nicely seasoned with bacon as my side. My husband, bless his heart, ordered the honey pecan chicken salad sandwich on gluten free bread so I could taste it. It was also delicious and he had a side of home fries to die for. We would definitely come back and try more of their menu if in the area again.

I wasn't too sure where to stand when I entered off the patio side on this lovely early afternoon, but when I figured out where the hosting station was, I was welcomed and seated in a spot I would have chosen for myself. Sometimes people sit single dudes in odd spots because maybe they don't think we care about kitchen doors and dark corners, but I had a really nice table where I could soak up the retro revamped vibe. I doubled the eggs order to four and chose the bacon and added a side of stewed black beans (so glad I did). First, I started with a glass of Beaujolais, which was quite nice. When the food arrived, the first thing that struck me was that I got cold butter in its own nice tin. I can't tell you how uncommon this is, even in finer dining. Usually, you get olive oil instead of butter, and if you ask for butter, it's in one of those wrappers. This was the real thing, not whipped, and I didn't have to ask specially for it. The eggs were delicate and seasoned beautifully, and the bacon was hearty and high-end and crispy. The grits are unbelievable, and the stewed beans are homemade and subtle, smooth as butter. I was amazed; the sides were really at the forefront. The kitchen isn't fast, so don't be in a hurry when you're here. Even the glass of wine took a few, and it was not busy. But it's also a nice place to relax and soak up the ambience, either indoors or out. And I appreciated that the food was so well made that I didn't mind the wait. Hats off to Stafford, who was my server. She checked up on me frequently. She was efficient and personable. They are lucky to have her! I had a beautifully crafted cortado espresso at the end, served traditionally with the fizzy water on the side. This is my favorite espresso as it is a strong pour but has just a bit of hot milk at the top to cut the acidity. It was excellent. Frankly, I was impressed they even knew what it was, so if you're just getting coffee, they'll also be the right place. I obviously recommend this place for its food, ambience, service. It was a treat and I hope to go back next time I'm in town.

Food was good across both visits--consistent, which matters as much as a single great meal. My son particularly liked the Brunch Sausage Burger. Looked good, and seemed entirely appropriate after a late night. Large space, tables well spread out, and located not far from downtown. Easy place to settle in whether you're with a crowd or just the two of you. Good for: small kids, business meals, casual meals, groups Would come back. Already did once.

They also have a refrigerated grab-and-go section with fresh juices, rice paper rolls, chia seed pudding, and a lentil casserole. The glass dessert case is full of vegan treats like peanut butter and chocolate cups, bliss balls, and donuts. The menu is extensive with tons of great organic vegan options. I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough (they also offer gluten-free and multigrain) with cashew cheese and a side of chili. I also got a beet juice, a lemon lavender muffin, chia seed pudding, and a decaf oat milk latte. The sandwich was pretty good. The bread seemed really fresh and I enjoyed the cashew cheese. The side of chili had a slight twist that elevated it above most regular chili recipes. It was good, but had a little too much corn for my taste personally. The beet juice was delicious and a generous portion. The desserts were just okay, but I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet and didn't have any weird ingredients. Honestly, it's just so nice knowing your food has no weird ingredients and everything is organic! The only downside was the coffee. Honestly, it was probably one of the worst I've ever had. Maybe it was just an off day or a mistake, I'm not sure. Everything else was good though! I would definitely recommend this spot. The decor is really cute and inviting. I love that they offer plenty of seating options too -- indoor, an enclosed outdoor patio, and an exterior exposed patio. Logistical Notes: Parking was super easy with a lot right out front. There are two accessible bathrooms for people with disabilities, and I love that they have a gender-inclusive restroom as well.
