I wish there was some way to have known about the parking lot as friends who were in a separate car ended up paying the $12.45. So we arrived at the coffee shop just before the rush and I ordered a strawberry lemonade and a almond Joy doughnut. The strawberry lemonade was so sweet that I added water twice to it, but could not drink it and eventually took it home and later the next day at additional water to help balance out the sweetness. The donut on the other hand, was not that sweet. It was a basic donut with a little bit of chocolate, coconut flakes and almond flakes. It was not that good and I was quite disappointed. My friend ordered a cinnamon roll and raved about it the entire time plus other friends ordered coffee and they all enjoyed it. So definitely a place to come back for coffee.

We also tried the raspberry lemon danish, which was a delicious combo, but the pistachio croissant stole the show without breaking a sweat. We started with the poutine, and while it wasn't the traditional version I've had before, it was incredible. Instead of cheese curds blocks, it came with pulled pork and melted cheese, and somehow it just worked. Comfort food with a little Southern flair. For breakfast, we had the ham and cheese omelet with breakfast potatoes. It was exactly what you want it to be--classic, satisfying, and impossible to regret if that's your usual order. I also tried the Liquid Gold juice. Their juice selection is impressive, but I may have accidentally found my forever order on the first try. It was so refreshing, with just a hint of ginger. For a hot drink, I highly recommend the London fog. I'm not usually a tea fan but if you don't want coffee, this is an excellent option. Before we left, we picked up some of their salted caramels to go, and they make the perfect little gift... assuming you have enough self-control not to eat them all in the car. The vibe here is upscale southern diner. One of the signs on the wall said, "All are welcome, but you need to act right," and honestly, that's the kind of life advice we could all use. I also really appreciated that parking was free. In Chattanooga these days it's hard finding a place where you don't have to scan a QR code, download an app, and pay to park just to eat. Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Milk & Honey is absolutely worth a visit...and if you're debating the pistachio croissant, stop debating and just order it. Once I looked at the pastry items, I knew the Blueberry Lavender scone had my name all over it!
