One of the most underrated restaurants in town. Great place for dinner with specials each week. Some great burgers that are a staple in the menu each week along with a weekly creation from the chef. You can see the French cuisine influence across the menu. Some of the best sauces I have experienced in Chattanooga. Now Sunday brunch is one of the best in town. The jalapeño gravy is beyond addictive. Specials each Sunday and today it just happened to be breakfast nachos. See attached pic. Of course I added the jalapeño gravy as well. Service and ambiance overlooking the lake and the dam is hard to beat. Ask for Sydney or Morgan for great service. read more

The view is still awesome and we continue to bring visiting family here but we no longer go for the food. The service has sadly been lacking lately. Today, we literally had a small ant crawling on a toast which we quickly pointed out to the waitress after she set the food down- and she removed the toast from the table. They did remove the $3 for the order of toast - but ew and they might be challenged with kitchen cleanliness now perhaps. The weird last point is that our bill was $89 - we gave the waitress $120 in cash and asked for $10 in return (equating to a 23% tip but giving her easy math and quick cash-out). She brought back $9. We didn't say anything of course. Will we return soon? Probably not honestly. read more

Had reservations for 7 and we weee seated immediately upon arrival. We like that it's a nice meal but in a casual setting. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal and drinks. Service was properly attentive and of course it's always nice to walk along the river and take in the marina and views. read more

This was one of my favorite places to eat, especially for a Sunday brunch. I must say this was the worse experience from a "service" standpoint I have had. First, the food is good and always is. Love the menu and the atmospher. I have alwasy had great service until now. BTW, parking is off street but it can be busy and they have a parking area across the road from the restaurant. Now the sad part. I showed up with 6 of us for lunch. We asked for one pineapple Mimosa while waiting for others to arrive. When the waitress brought it out, it was in two plastic cups of champagne and one cup of orange juice, not pineapple. I was confused and was wondering if she expected us take a drink of OJ and then a drink of champagne. She also said she accidentally put in two orders of Mimosa instead of one and kind of paused to see what we would do. We said we would go ahead and accept both. That is when I asked how we supposed to drink this with no way to mix them together since the cups were full. I also asked why did we not get a real Mimosa already mixed together in glass, which is how I have had them before at this restaurant. She said they did not allow glass on the porch and walked away. When she came back with more plastic cups and kind of dumped them on the table (see pic), I told her I was confused again because the people behind us had their Mimosa in a glass, which is what I have always had in the past. It was at this point the waitress got very irritated and blunt for most of the rest of our meal. I asked the other waitress that was also serving us and asked if I could speak with the manager. The waitress who was irritated came out and asked what is wrong. I told her I wanted to express my displeasure with the manager. She said the manager is busy tending bar and that she was the "head waitress". At this point, I just wanted to finish my meal and get out of there. Even then I had to go flag down a waitress just to pay my bill. I would point out the other server was very helpful and even apologized for the "confusion". Service gets a 2 and food gets 4. read more

Enjoyed Easter brunch. Somewhat limited menu. Waiter was pleasant but must have been new. Did not tell us about specials. When he did come to the table he was friendly and kind but did not come except to take our order, bring it to the table and bring the bill. He stood there over my shoulder waiting to take the bill even though I was reviewing the bill. He said he'd come back with change but never did. He did not check in with us after serving our food to see if everything was ok. States French cuisine but nothing French that we noticed about any of the brunch dishes. The food was good that we had. And prices were reasonable. read more

Nuts in a lot of food choices. My veggies and my wife's were undercooked. Wife had shrimp and grits grits were undercooked. Sat outside noisy inside, but seating outside not real comfy. Shrimp was average at best. Pricey for the quality. read more

The food was average at best. Not really sure what makes it "French inspired" other than the prices which are a bit high for what it is. It's basically elevated bar food. Service was good. It's a bar atmosphere with a lot of high top tables. There is a decent view of the lake but also a lot of the marina. Not impressed. read more

Never had a bad meal! Service is typically very good; enjoy the view while waiting; chill! Went there last nite for the third week in a row; following the specials posted on FB. The Queso Corn dip appetizer was very good. My wife n I shared it; next time I want one all to myself. Planning togo next Friday to avoid Trick n Treaters only because the doorbell drives them crazy. Going into week #4 Will we need reservations to sit outside with our dogs? read more

Morgan was our server bubbly and very friendly. She knows the menu & recommended items of drink menu as well as appetizers and entrees. Describing the way things were prepared & the different sauces & side items. On Morgan's recommendation I ordered a Lakeshore Mule made with Gin it has fresh lime juice, ginger purée & topped with sparkling water. DELICIOUS!! Bill had tropical margarita. We had the Lakeshore Fries they were yummy. I had the Balsamic Salmon it was seared crisp on both sides, moist & cooked perfectly. Loved this dish. Bill enjoyed his salmon fettuccini said it was best. Dessert was perfect finish to our meal. I had the key lime pie made @ a local bakery. Bill had chocolate cake with ice cream. Can't wait to go back when we are here spring 2023. read more

WORST F'ing PLACE EVER I honestly feel like the way my family and I were being treated was targeted and racist asf. We arrived and were sat... 20 minutes passed by and no server came and 3 TABLES we're sat and even got drinks!! We still had nothing until one of us went up to the host and told them the issue and finally a server came after 10 minutes to get our drink orders, we went ahead and placed our food orders as well then after another 10 minutes we finally had our drinks! It took them 40 MINUTES! To get our drinks( I should mention it was NOT busy) whenever we did get our drinks she threw our straws at us as in a passive aggressive manner. Food was mediocre at best. Whenever it was time to pay(in cash) server did not take long at all she was quick with picking it up unlike the whole time she serving us no refills not once! The atmosphere was so off putting I did not like the way we were treated if I had to guess servers were most likely racist I'm definitely letting friends know and to spread the word because the ambiance was not it. read more

One day I stumbled upon this place while driving and I knew I wanted to go sometime. I finally went and absolutely loved it. I went on a Thursday( which is girls night) so there were incredible deals which was a steal. Me and my roommate just went for cocktails and appetizers. We loved what we had! The tuna lollipops were nice and fresh and the fries were to die for! Our server was kind and made it an enjoyable experience. I will be back again for the tasty food and the beautiful view! read more

My wife and I were in town looking for a home. We came upon this amazing place right on the lake. We came for Sunday brunch right around noon and noted a vibrant crowd. We chose to sit at the bar where the owner, Brooke, waited on us. Her sense of humor and welcoming spirit was infectious. For drinks, I had a Screwdriver while my wife had a Bloody Mary. Both were super fresh and wonderful. For mains, I had the Filet Mignon Benedict while she had the French Toast with Country Sausage. Best we've ever had. This place is rustic while being extremely well kept. Well worth the visiting this family business. read more

The brunch menu is elegant while the venue gives off a comfortably casual marina vibe. I ordered salmon, spinach, mushroom eggs Benedict with a very tasty she-crab hollandaise spread. It was prepared perfectly. The server was cordial, helpful, and seemed to enjoy her work. All in all the experience was worth the time and the drive since I live over an hour away. I will be back for dinner some night soon. read more

Definitely a locals spot, this place is FANTASTIC! We had a great seat by the window after a short wait, and had a great sunset during our meal. Service was extraordinary, fast and efficient. Our server Rachel was very attentive and made some spot on recommendations. I ordered the mussels. Absolutely to die for. The broth made it and I could have just had the broth and a loaf of crusty bread. The flavors were just that good! In fact I took the leftover broth home and plan to pick up a loaf of bread for later! Seek this place out! We came on a Thursday which is ladies night, so my wife and sister in law had plenty of wine! Try the Chatt Tea which made this bourbon lover very happy!! I am a huge fan of, and the drink featured Chattanooga Whiskey. GET HERE for the mussels!! They are on the apps menu. You won't complain about the prices and the service is worth a trip from anywhere!! read more

Very good seafood! We stopped here after dark so we couldn't see much, but could tell this place would have an amazing view during daylight. We started with the shellfish dip and then got sea scallops and she-crab snapper for entrees. The entrees were cooked to perfection and came with a delicious sauce. There were a couple other appetizers that sounded great that we would probably try instead next time. The food was a little slow to come out but they have a great drink menu to keep you occupied during the wait. The sides were underwhelming but the seafood mains truly made up for it. Service was top notch! read more

This chicken sandwich was delicious. It had jalapeños and I believe chipotle dressing on it. The fries were very good also. I very much enjoyed the view of the lake and I really liked the server. I can't remember her name but she was a little bit older with blonde hair, and she made my time very enjoyable there on Sunday. We will be back for dinner next time read more

I wish I could give it a 4, heck even a 5, but the food was just...bleh... Service, however, was amazing. And for that alone, I plan to return...one day. Every.single.item (fresh) had a fridge taste to it...you know, like something that's been left uncovered and has picked up flavors of the rest of the items in th walk in cooler. The tuna lollys had that freezer burn taste that tends to linger even after swallowing. The fish and chips plate was ....ok, like the hand cut chips were awesome but the fried salmon was BLEH... And I LOVE salmon. That's where I noticed the most taste of a walk-in cooler, not sure if it was the batter or what, but it was overpowering to the say the least. The spouse tried the shrimp and grits and from my perspective it looked like a soup. He doesn't discriminate and ate the shrimp and some of the grit soup. We brought home a burger and fries for teen and she said it was fine...so maybe I should try it the next time I go. read more

We just left the Lakeshore Grille, and what a disappointment. I have eaten here before, and really enjoyed it.. but we won't be back anytime soon. The food all tasted like it was several days old.. even the Bloody Mary tasted stale! Bacon, gravy, sausage, everything we tried was old. My wife asked for limes for her water.. they had no lime juice in them.. they were dry as a bone. Finally, and this was the worst part, we found not one, not two, but THREE hairs in our meals! Until they get things figured out I would recommend avoiding Lakeshore Grille at all costs. read more

This has always been one of mine and my family's favorite spots for dinner with a view, so we decided to bring my dad here for his father's day dinner. Normally, everything is delicious at this spot, but this time we ended up leaving a little disappointed. We started out with the appetizer house made chips with chipotle ranch and they were delicious as usual! I ordered the grouper almondine, which was served with veggies and potatoes and was absolutely delicious. My mom ordered the she-crab snapper, which was also really good. On the other hand, my dad ordered the ribeye special and ended up being pretty disappointed with it. It seemed to not be a good cut of meat with it being mostly fat. This being a special, it also ended up being pretty pricey. All in all, th8is was definitely disappointing to my dad, as it was supposed to be his Father's day meal. But I will say, of the many times I've been here, this is the only meal we've ever been disappointed with, so I'm sure we will be back. read more
