First, the pharmacy technician looked all over the place, and it took several minutes just to locate my prescriptions. Then, their system would not accept my correct phone number. When asked to help/override, the pharmacist ran onto the floor instead, bumping me on the way. If you want to wait in line, then be "helped" incredibly inefficiently, this is your place. I left. I really needed the medicine, but I wasn't prepared to wait even longer, so I had to leave. I will never go here again. I suggest they look into new management, the pharmacy receives way too many poor reviews. read more

The only 24 hour pharmacy in town! :-(. Forget about customer service, or friendly staff... Neither at the pharmacy nor at other counters in the store. The pharmacy staff and the pharmacist are not customer friendly, it seems as if the whole store is angry that they are here 24 hours a day. While being ignored with a pharmacy prescription to drop off, I called CVS down the street... They closed in 20 minutes so I had no choice but to stay here and endure. You have to wait in lines for 15 mins to drop off the script, they say 20-25 mins to get ready. After 50 mins from drop off (65 mins in the store) I asked if they call out when prescription is ready. They said mine was ready and pointed me to the same line I waited in to drop off the script. Another 15 mins in line.... Horrible place, poorly run....and rude staff Give me an alternative and I'd never return... They operate as if they know there's no where else to go read more

I am NEVER coming here again. I brought my prescription in at 7:00 PM and wasn't able to pick it up until 11:00 PM. Pick up and drop off had 20 and 15 minute lines, respectively. That's insane. They are totally understaffed and disorganized. I heard 2 telling comments from fellow customers while I was waiting in line: "I've been waiting here forever" and "this place is always like this." This is the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff is rude, the wait is long and they have screwed up my prescriptions multiple times. The last time they screwed one up (today), I called the dr office to make sure they called it in right, because the pharmacy lady was adamant the error was on the dr side. The dr's office was willing to wait on the phone until the pharmacy tech was done her current customer so I could hand her the phone to clear the issue up on the spot. The pharmacy tech refused to take the phone call on my cell phone, said if the dr would like to speak to her they needed to call the direct line. Whatever. This is THE WORST 24hr Walgreens pharmacy I've ever dealt with!!! I am a prescriber and the first time i called, I was on hold for 20min to call in a prescription for a patient and when the line finally started ringing, it rang for a couple minutes and then it hung up on me! It did this 2 times and on the third time, i called back and asked to speak to a store manager and all they did was transfer me back to the pharmacy where I was put on hold again! If they are this F#@%ing busy, they need to hire more F#@%ing staff! Unbelievable!!! I was finally able to give my prescription request to the pharmacist after almost 45 minutes of being on hold and she denied that there was anything wrong with their phone system and told me that it's embarrassing how understaffed they are. No stars! Worst Walgreens pharmacy EVER! From the pharmacists to the window staff....horrible service! Bad experiences with them all each time I come here. I said I wouldn't come back here yet shame on me I did. Waited 4 hours before I called to check status with a human so I wouldn't be waiting 2 hours again and surprise surprise I am asked to come in and wait. Explained I had my sick 2 year old and that's why I called before I came and no I did not want to come inside and wait. So now I'm parked waiting as requested. Ridiculous. I love this Walgreens! I used to live in Nevada were everyone at the Walgreens knew me by name and had more than excellent customer service, so its hard to compete with that. Every time I come here I mostly buy beauty products and Faye at the Beauty counter is always so sweet and help full. I come here only because of the good customer service she offers, she always tells me about the upcoming ads, clearance deals, and a bunch other offers. Love this location! read more

The worst pharmacy I have been too. My prescription was sent by my doctor the night before here because that was the only pharmacy that is open 24/7 and I came to pick it up the next day and they didn't even process it. And made me wait for an hour. They have the worst customer service. It's a busy pharmacy and short staff, there was one girl processing everyone in line and the drive thru customers and the ones on the pharmacy phone. There were two more girls in the back that I don't know what they were doing. I'll not come back to this pharmacy again. I like Safeway pharmacy way better on contra costa blvd. read more

The customer service is poor, the photo machines are always broken, the lines are long for no reason. It always appears that there are more staff in the back area than on the floor. Second two files with my name and when I ask about how that was possible they couldn't tell me how that was happening . At the end everyone seem confused and were not listening to my need. Their customer service is terrible and there is always new staff in the pharmacy so obviously their employees don't stay. Everytime I call it is a 45 min wait. They just put the phones on hold and leave them there. They need more staff. I can't stand the wait times EVERYTIME I go, and I go regularly. If I could give no stars, I would. Worst pharmacy ever. It is 24 hours so that's the plus. Came yesterday and line was 13 deep so I left. I would have just waited for me to tell me it's not ready. I called them but you can't get thru. They need to hire more people or open another location. Right now next day Sunday morning there are not w 12 people in line. They can't figure out my insurance and didn't even ask if I have insurance and CVS and Safeway I have no issues. Save yourself some frustration and go somewhere else. After making it to front of line, I've been waiting 30 min and they aren't listening to me saying the insurance is rejecting it because they need to update my address. They should have called and asked for insurance info or answered their phone when I called. They have a 1.6 rating on yelp. They have two ppl helping from front of store and still can't do their job. Just heard someone else say they would leave and eat breakfast, then come back. Better make that breakfast and lunch. read more

They had a lot of makeup variety. I bought Carmindy's book from What Not to Wear and she recommends a few product lines that I've only found here and kmart of all places... they also sell Jane which can be hard to find if you're looking for their eye zings. The parking lot is crazy and people go way too fast when you're backing out btw. read more

The pharmacy service is deplorable because the corporate office refuses to adequately staff them. The CEO, etc is making a ton of money off their contracts with the insurance companies but not returning enough of that money to provide the level of service they ethically should be providing. If you don't mind wasting half of your day each time you need to pick up a prescription and don't mind constantly getting the phone hung up on you when you call without even so much as a "hello", then this is the pharmacy for you. I dont know if writing for big corporations like walgreens changes their poor performance or not but they are not doing a good job to satisfy customers. Does it have parking spot? Yes it has. It also has drive thro pharmacy which usually takes a long time to get ur prescription. They also have done wrong prescription for me TWICE! And they charged me 130 $for a medication that supposed to be free with my insurance. I got my money back after 2 month calling my insurance and visiting this wakgreens branch!!!! I would have given them one star but they gave me a 5$ giftcard for my troubles. Their western union kiosk does not function properly, one was entirely broken. The young lady in cosmetics was obviously new and called a manager but no one ever came. However they have an amazing selection of everything you might need, so if you need a one stop shop in the area this is your place. I have experienced very slow lines at checkout here, though. Every single time I come here, they are late with my prescription and it takes hours to get a RX filled. This time, called in the morning and was told a couple hours, gave more than enough time and showed up at 5PM and they still hadn't got it ready. Did the same to the gentleman ahead of me in line. I can see they are busy (not sitting around) but they either need a better concept of time (and time management) or clearly need to to hire more people as they are one of the only 24hr locations around. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Usually only one person staffed to handle phone calls, drive thru, and drop offs/pick ups in store. Employees change weekly, none ever seem to know what's going on. Managers here are just as clueless. My prescriptions are never ready on time and I have to carve out at least an hour and a half of my day to get my medication from this location, even when there is no line. There's never an apology for the wait or a "hi how are you doing".... always just a very rude pharmacy tech stealing precious hours of your life while you watch them walk around in circles getting nothing done. read more

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. They have a new pharmacy manager, Jade, who is rude and uncooperative. I needed to fill my medication TWO days early due to a vacation. My doctor wrote an authorization to release it. Jade insisted that that was insufficient and she needed to hear from my doctors office. My doctors office called and gave her verbal authorization to release it, she still refused . My doctor actually called me to apologize and told me to seriously consider switching pharmacies as she had never come up against this problem with any other pharmacist during the span of her career. Why waste both of our times by insisting that my MD call and give verbal authorization if ultimately the request will be denied. My physician and I will both be filing complaints. Customer service is nonexistent and wait times are excruciatingly long. I spoke with the store manager, Jason and he apologized and admitted that their turnover rate is so high that their hands are pretty much tied and urged me to go to any other Walgreens as it would probably be no problem for them to fill it at all.
