No point in making an appointment. They don't honor appointment times. This is the worst pharmacy near the great park. Better to go to the pharmacy only Walgreens in Lake Forest. read more

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE! The reviews don't lie! If you need your medication ASAP then yo in need to turn around and go to a different pharmacy! My mom has a specialty pharmacy with Walgreens that delivers her medications on a basis. Sometimes when she needs a prescription right away we have to take it to a retail location to get filled. This was the only pharmacy in our area that had the prescription in stock. I called on Monday (01.06.2020) around 3PM to make sure this location had received it and was filling it. The employee over the phone informs me that it will not be ready until 5:15PM!! One simple prescription was going to take over 2+ hours?!! I was stunned but there was nothing we could do but wait since my mom needed the prescription the same day. I run my errands and go home to kill time, I get to the pharmacy around 5:30 just knowing this prescription is going to be ready by now. 20+ minutes in the drive thru and finally we get to the front and an employee goes: "It's not ready yet, the pharmacist hasn't signed off on it and it won't be ready for another 20 minutes." -__- Say what!!? Going on 3 hours to get 1 prescription filled it ridiculous and inhumane! We wait in the parking lot and finally get a text message saying it's ready for pickup. I go into the store and greeted with a huge line at the pick up counter. I feel like they gave us the run around and took their sweet precious time processing this prescription for my mom. I finally get to the counter and one bottle that only contained SEVEN pills took over 3 hours to fill!? This pharmacy is poorly ran with not enough staff and it shows in every aspect. Nobody should have to wait hours and hours for their prescriptions. Majority of people are in need of those medications and most likely aren't feeling good. My mom was feeling run down and fatigued trying to chase this one medication! If you depend on this pharmacy you'll be waiting for pigs to fly! Not to mention this pharmacy has 0 privacy so HIPAA goes right out of the window. Everyone can hear your business and what medications your on. Corporate needs to do an overhaul on this pharmacy and read these reviews. The truth doesn't lie! Hopefully I'll never have to come back here!! -__- read more

Pharmacy at this location is horrible! Waiting line is so slow and more importantly not making any sense. I wish I had read all the 1 star reviews before-head!! A pharmacists told me to wait for 15 mins and I end up waited for 1hr with my kiddo who was sick and no one call us name. I, finally, went to the window and asked again, and they told me they didn't aware I was awaiting and the prescription is just right behind the table. Unprofessional and didn't value customers time at all. read more

Under no circumstances should you ever get a prescription filled here. Incompetent staff and long wait times. Just no. Go elsewhere

This wall greens location is not that bad. Every time I go in to this location I always look at the staff to see if they have a positive attitude. And this location never let me down. They always smiling which is super important. They always gracious and speak to me when I walk into the store. If I have any questions they do their best to answer my question. One of the staff members didn't know exactly where the cough medicine was. Which that is not a big deal but when I asked her how long she had been working there she said over a year. I do feel if a staff member has worked at a store for over a year they probably should know where a pretty common item that cough medicine is located. But that is not really a big thing. Outside of that this location is super chill Everything else in the store is pretty easy to fine. I bought a soda from this location as well and they said it was actually really tasty. It wasn't super flat like sodas or when I go to Walmart sometimes. This Walgreens definitely gets pretty good stars for me. The only other bad thing I don't like about it is the parking. There's not tons of extra parking but it is not too bad. Thank you so much for providing a pretty good product read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They NEVER fill my prescription until I beg them too. It is 4:00 pm and I have been on the phone since 1:00 pm trying to fix my issue. They are out of my medication (which is fine) but I am trying to transfer my medication to CVS less than 2 miles away. CVS tried to call them over 7 times and they will not pick up. The window for me to pick up my medication is now expired and now I have to go through my doctor again. I understand they are always busy but putting me on hold for 30 minutes and then hanging up the call is not ok. Very very rude. In addition, I'm sure every pharmacy is busy. Why is it that CVS can pickup in a matter of minutes while this Walgreens could take days to pickup. My recommendation is to use CVS on Culver and Walnut. It is only a few miles from Walgreens and there service is much faster and their customer service is amazing (they will call you back instead of putting you on hold for 30 minutes and then hang up on you). There's a reason why this Walgreens has such a low rating. read more

This rating is for the pharmacy. They are unorganized, unprofessional and the absolute worst pharmacy I've ever had the misfortune to frequent. There is always a line, and they seem to misplace Rx as soon as they are filled. read more

The people who work at the pharmacy are so rude! I encourage everyone who has an issue with this location to please contact their customer service. They all need to be written up. Not everyone has a car to go through drive through and since when can we only pick up through drive through? ohh and there was give people working in the pharmacy. I don't appreciate having to wait in line doe 20mins all to be told to go through drive through. please call their customer service +1 (800) 925-4733 we all need to complain and get these people out of the pharmacy. it's truly unfair how paying customers are being treated read more

I called multiple times and after the voice system couldn't help, I kept getting transferred to an offshore call center with people who had no knowledge of the pharmacy. I eventually gave up. Don't use Walgreens. read more

If you like waiting in line for your meds like a Disney ride then this is the place for you. At all hours of the day, it's at least a 30-45 minute wait. Get your act together. Go to CVS or plan on wasting a hour of your life in line. read more

Warning: Go to a different Pharmacy! Ralph's is just right next door! My BF came to this location yesterday to get my medicine, they told him the meds I needed had a cut off time and he'd had to come back later that night when they have them available again. My bf had asked to be added to the call/text list, they said it would take about an hour to an hour and a half. He came home and 4 hours later, still no call/text. He ended up going to the pharmacy and they finally gave him what he needed after 15 minutes. He told me there were so many angry customers waiting for their prescription. I wish I had read the reviews before having my BF go to this Walgreens! Avoid yourself some inconvenience and go to Ralph's.... read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Absurd wait times indoors and even worse wait times since they decided to move all traffic to the drive-thru. No option for delivery to help alleviate the hardship of having to wait almost an hour to simply pick up one prescription. Never coming here again. read more

If you're in need of getting the status of a prescription or need to talk to a pharmacist, don't bother with these folks. I've never seen a piss poor staff than these guys. It sucks for the folks that are living in Woodbury. I've switched to a delivery form with another pharmacy and they're immensely better and much more friendlier. read more

The pharmacy is a mess. Today I went to pick up an antiviral using the drive-through, but it was closed. So I was forced to go into the store and wait in a slow, long line. Most of the customers and pharmacy staff were not masked. Even the container of hand sanitizer was empty. This is a good place to catch an illness, not a place that promotes wellness. read more

Horrific. Been going here close to a year, the lines are always long, both inside and the drive-thru. customer service is most always rude, and 9/10xs the medications are not ready when they say they're going to be. This means having to return and wait in that line again. Even though convenient, I'm switching pharmacies. read more

Without a doubt, the worst customer service experience of my life. Utterly rude, ZERO concern for even the slightest issue and apathetic beyond reproach. I understand things are difficult in this Covid era, but it's no excuse for the behavior of the employees and "management" at this location. "When does the pharmacy open (15 minutes post store opening)". "I don't know, when they get here". ‍. Switching all our medication to CVS. read more

This pharmacy is extremely bad; every time I had to wait for my medication for three days, and I had to contact them multiple times just to get my prescription filled. I strongly advise against this pharmacy, and the staff inside were very rude and uncooperative. read more

Honestly the most unhelpful staff I've ever encountered in my life. Waited in line for almost an hour just to be told that I had to wait another 20 minutes for my prescription to be ready. We have significant public health concerns about your drive-thru self-administered nasal test methodology. This technique clearly requires medical training and a certain level of expertise to administer safely and accurately. Our bright, capable 19-year-old son made his best effort in following the instructions yet obtained an invalid result. Are you tracking data on the percentage of invalid findings that come from your test kits? We consulted a reputable covid testing center that indicated they had never heard of this strategy and believed it was likely wasting valuable materials and resources. We strongly urge to to discontinue this inadequate practice and that your nasal swab tests be administered, monitored, labeled, tracked and verified solely by trained professionals. We are considering reporting this to county public health agencies. read more

This review is for their pharmacy. I come here because it's close but I agree that they are SLOW. Not sure if they are just super busy or what. I've also had issues with them telling me something is not covered by insurance when it is. They tried to charge me $80 for a prescription once telling me it wasn't covered and I pressed them to check again and it turns out that it was. Ended up being $10. They apologized but how do you make a mistake like that?! I hate healthcare in this country. read more

If you'd like your prescription filled efficiently and with respect, don't come here. I had one very simple prescription to fill, that I had previously filled at other pharmacies with no issue, and this Walgreens was somehow unable to do so. They kept me waiting for 45 minutes while attempting to use my insurance for my prescription, and then were somehow unable to use my insurance. Without insurance this prescription is almost $100. They told me I had to call my insurance on my own time, then come back and provide them with a Bin number and PCN in order to use my insurance, I have never been instructed to do this in my years of filling prescriptions. To add insult to injury the individual assisting me, August, was entirely unprofessional. Prior to assisting me he was so loud when discussing prescriptions of the people ahead of me that the entire makeup department at the back of the Walgreens could hear. Luckily no one heard about my prescription or condition because he didn't get that far, 10 people just heard that my insurance wasn't "valid". After all this I went back to my doctors office to check on this insurance issue, they gave me a printout of my eligibility, which is ACTIVE, and transferred the prescription and filled it at CVS with NO issue. I will never return to this Walgreens for any of my pharmacy needs. read more

Wait time here is at least 30 minutes. The staff here are rude. They will give you an attitude if you ask them questions. Maybe it's because they put up with so many entitled customers in this community so they're bad attitude shifts towards other customers. I went online to make an appointment for a flu shot for my husband and myself and was really impressed by the ease of use and convenience. We decided to go take their latest appointments to avoid crowds during Covid when social distancing is imperative. I made appointments for us at 8:40 and 8:50 pm - the website says they close at 9 pm. I printed out the confirmation and downloaded their consent and even showed up 10 minutes early as requested. No crowds - yay! But here's where it went wrong - after speaking to the pharmacist, Loan Tran, she said she couldn't give us the shots because they were already closed. Their sign says they close at 9pm, there were 2 cars in the drive-through and I had an appointment but still, she says - oh sorry, we can't tonight because we are already closing up. I asked her - so you close at 9 but you stop helping customers at 8:30 so you can close up? Her response - yeah, I'm sorry can you come back tomorrow? Are you kidding me? What's the point of making an appointment if they can't help you when you show up? Terrible service, lazy pharmacist. read more

The review is basically for the pharmacy. I've been here to pick up prescription at least twice. Once for myself and another time for my husband. I have mixed feelings on the staff. First time for myself, it was late in the evening and this slender Asian lady helped me was very professional. She knows exactly where the items are and I was able to find the items very quickly. Second time was for my husband. His prescriptions happens to be two parts. Half was sent electronically and they were very quick to fill them. Another half, I have to deliver personally. The non-Asian lady told me they were a bit busy and would need some time to fill and told me to come back by 1:30pm (Note there's a sign saying that they go to lunch between 1pm to 2pm, so I'm not sure who would be around?) I was still cool since I need to run a few errands so I told her that's perfect probably won't be back until after 2pm. So, I did my errands and came by around 3pm. This time it's the same slender lady that helped me last time. She told me it's still being filled (about 10-15mins) and one of the prescriptions can't be fulfilled because it's out of stock. That turned out to the fast acting insulin, of which was needed before every single meal. By now, I was very annoyed that the other lady never even bothered to check if it's in stock so I could have asked her to check other walgreens. I was coming from John Wayne Airport so I ended up have to backtrack to Walgreen on Alton to get the prescription. 2 lessons learned: 1) Always ask to check if any of the prescription is in stock, otherwise run the risk of backtracking. 2) Always check the filled prescription! I ended up with another blood sugar tester of which I already received from the hospital. The prescription was only for the test strips and needles but they filled the tester anyways. Fortunately, the slender Asian lady was able to refund me. read more

Prescription for 90 day supply and i was given only a 30 day supply, when I asked the pharmacist who handed me my meds i asked why not 90 days supply she said "your insurance doesn't cover it !" .. so I called my insurance and asked because it was electronically sent twice from my provider's office apparently since September. I found out that Cigna is not contracted w/ Walgreens for 90 day supply of meds. So Walgreens missed that information to explain to me and is not really transparent. Their employees should better know how to communicate with customers properly and politely. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

This place doesn't even deserve a " star". Long lines are the norm no matter what time of the day it is both inside and the drive through. They offered monthly auto ship on my medications but it never happened and still had to wait in that dreadful line. The pharmacist is condescending and has serious communication issues. She is very short and refuses to listen to your questions. It's impossible to get though on the phone and when you do get through you'll be put on hold for a long time again. Clearly they need to hire extra professionals to service its clients properly! read more

I would give this place and the people here less than one star rating if the option was given. Most of the times they don't have the medication ready and the wait is so long. The Walgreens store is great. However, this is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever been too. Every month my prescription is due, there's an issue on their end. They never have my medicine ready on time and even when they do tell you a time it will be ready by, they're always 30 minutes-2 hours late. How can this place be so disorganized? I've been going here for five months since I moved to this area. Never gone smoothly one time. If you live in or around Woodbury, do yourself a favor, and find a different pharmacy. read more

Updated 10/21/11: I had a much better experience yesterday in this store. I went to pick up a photo order, and there was no one in the photo area and they seemed unusually busy at the checkstands. I waited my turn and told the woman I had a photo order to pick up. She came right over, helped me out, checked out the rest of my items as well and was VERY friendly and nice. Because of her, I will add one star :) ~~~~~ I picked up a photo order last week, and the girl at the photo counter was sitting on a stool reading a magazine. I walked up and stared at her until she decided to help me. It was an order that had a zero total, so I said am I good to go? She said no, it has to be rung up. So she said I had to go through the regular line, which had a line. So I got in line behind two people... one of which was in the middle of a serious mess with the cashier. After about 5 minutes the same girl came over to a register and helped the other person in front of me, and me. It took two seconds to scan my zero total and let me leave. Why couldnt she have done that at the photo counter? Because she was too lazy and too into her magazine, then realized she HAD to probably help out since the one lady was busy with whatever she was doing. No thanks! read more

Pros: You can pick up your Snapfish photos here. This is really the only reason I would come here. Cons: For a fairly new store the place feels unkempt and disorderly. How come there's never anyone at the photo desk? How come the workers are walking around eating food and leaving their Starbucks cups on the counters? This Walgreens is to Wal-Mart as the Portola CVS is to Target. read more
