This place is hit and miss Sometimes they don't send out prescription even though you just talked to them in the phone and placed an order from them No fallow up call from them if something went wrong. You have to call them back and have them do it again to receive your prescription in the mail. After a few days go by and nothing in the mail. Give them a call back again !! And hopefully it doesn't fall over a weekend or you're screwed for your weekend meds. I have type 1 diabetes and this place doesn't seem to care if you get your meds or not . great little mom/pop pharmacy that goes out of their way to make sure you get the best pricing. they are always prompt with refills and will call you to make sure you are on top of your refills. they also use an app or website which allows you to refill and pay, which saves you some time. my endocrinologist recommended them to me as they are next door in the same medical center. recommended. read more

I love this pharmacy!! I have chronic conditions and require medications and DME which get filled by this pharmacy. They are so on top of filling and shipping my orders in a timely manner and call me if there is a price change. The staff are genuinely kind and remember me when I call in, despite never being there in person! When I accidentally left insulin in the car in 120 degree weather during the summer, they helped me navigate insurance and find a way to get a different insulin and get it covered by insurance which is above and beyond! Nadine in particular is so helpful and the male who answers the phones (I can't remember his name). I will stay here as long as possible and avoid the big chains! read more

Unfortunately one star is the least amount of stars one can provide to this "pharmacy". As a customer, it's unfortunate to have had to scold a representative named Diana for being nasty. I put her in her place in front of all her staff, and shortly after was fired. The entire ABC pharm as a whole will treat you as less than scum should you require ANY controlled substances despite having a 16 year track record of needing them. They are disgusting as a team My only relief was Zack. An incredible part of the staff who also needed controlled substances for his own issues. He not only looked at me as human, he ensured my meds were always on time and the brand I reacted best with. This guy was the most solid of them all. Oliver?? I think was his name, should only work behind the scenes or for customer complaints in person. He's of management material. Why can't you guys get it right?!?!? Zack soon informed me that my need of Alprozolam for my extensive childhood sexual abuse rubbed this as*hole the wrong way and thought should I no longer be alive. Apparently this bald guy took Gabapentin and even hated that affect on himself because it was similar to opioids or benzos. These are the ppl serving the public Zack was of sound mind and CEO material and was never treated as he deserved. I tell you, they should actually be out of business And after the bi**h Diana demanded my ID for their record, I found out that it was not needed and not even in my chart. The good reviews have to be fake. This pharmacy should be reported to the BBB . Shouldn't be in business. Every person you talk to has a different answer . They will lie and delay you picking up medication just to make sure you get it from them instead of saying we don't have it or you can get it elsewhere faster. Apparently they aren't contracted with Blueshield anymore so now go through a third party instead of saying you will need to go to another pharmacy they tell you they will deliver the medication but they don't. Before finding ABC Pharmacy, I was looking for a pharmacy that would accept a coupon from the manufacturer as the out-of-pocket price for me was too high. I had called other pharmacies but most of them told me to send the prescription first to them and then they could check. However, when I called ABC Pharmacy, they kindly checked my coupon over the phone and assured me that they could honor me that price. When my prescription arrived to their location, they quickly processed it within minutes. Although I live in Riverside (about one hour from the pharmacy), they were able to ship my medication the next day and I received it before noon. The courier was super nice and even left my package in a safe spot. Lastly, I really appreciate the small candies in package. Overall, I highly recommend ABC Pharmacy. I must've caught ABC Pharmacy on a good day because every single interaction since then has been HORRIBLE. They have to order your medication when you request it, which they say will take 1 day. You don't receive it as promised, and have to call them back. They claim to have left voicemails BUT NO ONE CALLED! This is especially a problem when you're on a medication that you can't live without. They offered to call my doctor and give me a different dosage???!!!! Thyroid medication does NOT work that way!!! And no matter how nice you are, they get upset and short with you, even though it's all THEIR fault. I've been a customer for many years. At first it was great. Over the past year, it's gotten worse and worse and worse. They're very unreliable. They don't answer their phones. Sometimes I have to call multiple times during the day in order to reach someone to place a refill. This week, I placed an order on Monday to be shipped to my home. Usually, I'd get it the next day. Today is Thursday and I STILL haven't gotten the order. I called and the representative was very confused. It was like, "Uh, it looks like you'll get your order today." For some reason my endocrinologist keeps sending my prescriptions here instead of to my pharmacy. After talking to the staff it sounds like it's because ABC will fill out the prior authorization forms so my doctor doesn't have to. I don't understand how that's even legal, but I guess when someone does your work for you, the patient's preferences no longer matter... This last Wednesday I called ABC pharmacy to ask about my prescription and they told me that it was ready to pick up. Since I was going to be out of my medicine on Friday and needed the refill, and because unlike most pharmacies ABC is only open during the day when I'm supposed to be at work, I immediately drove the 30 minutes to pick it up. When I got there they told me oops, sorry, they didn't have it! They had given it to someone else, they said... In the last 30 minutes! But they said they would have it delivered to my house free of charge on Friday. Little consolation for just having wasted an hour of my time... Friday came and went, and surprise, surprise, the prescription didn't arrive. Unlike most pharmacies, ABC isn't open on the weekends, so due to their incompetence I'm now without my medicine, and I have no recourse until Monday. I'm sure when I call tomorrow they'll have some cute excuse for why they didn't deliver it as promised. Besides, it's only medicine, what does it matter, right? Are they closed??? I have been calling for last 2 weeks during business hours to reorder injectable medication that they have delivered to me in Redondo Beach for the last 2 years. Less expensive than CVS. However, now no answer- only elevator music plays for 6 min. Then phone starts ringing and then get a message from Verizon that call cannot be connected at this time. Sharon, William, and Don among other staff members at ABC are awesome and very supportive in dealing with customers and getting them their needed medications. I always appreciate the staff going out of there way to acquire the needed doctor's scripts and running interference with the insurance companies to get pre-authorizations done without the need for the customer to seek that assistance. I have 2 stars because I get them delivered to my house. I get a delivery from them every month and it's the only place I can get from do to a special medication but they always forget to give me something. I call them every month for the same exact reason never fails. They put it in the computer what I need and again the same thing happens the next month even if I call in advance and remind them 2 days before shipping it out. I don't know what or why they can't get it right but it's so beyond frustrating. Really frustrating experience here. I was suppose to get a mediacation delivered Thursday after my Wednesday visit with my doctor. The doctor recommended this pharmacy and said they are great and deliver super quickly, so instead of picking it up at cvs like I normally do- I went with this pharmacy. I called both Thursday and Friday to check on the delivery of my medication- and received rude and Un-informative responses. It's now Saturday and I have to wait until Monday. They tried to tell me my insurance didn't cover my medication so they could charge me $118 instead of my usual $10 copay! They told the representative from my insurance (who confirmed that I should only be charged $10) that they had the medication I needed and were aware of my copay but didn't want to take the financial "hit" by honoring what is on my insurance. I called the pharmacy back after I talked to my insurance and told them I know exactly what you are doing and it is wrong! Once again, they tell me that the order is ready and to come down to pick up. Then I get there and they only have 23 out of the 30 pills available for my daughter's ADHD medicine. It has been two weeks and they still do not have the remaining pills. They claim they have the higher MG, but will need a prescription from the doctor to fill it. It will be another version of getting there and then, "Oh, we don't have the entire prescription!" I don't know what happened to this pharmacy. They used to be amazing but over the last year it has drastically gone downhill. They never answer their phone. Either the answering machine is on, during business hours, or it rings and rings and rings. Their online chat feature goes unanswered as well. It makes it so difficult to try and fill prescriptions when you cannot reach someone via phone. I really wish they had a mobile app that one could easily see status of prescriptions and schedule deliveries. Sadly all but one of our prescriptions have been transferred out to Alto. read more
