I rarely write reviews, but this pharmacy absolutely deserves one. My parents' prescription was sent over by the hospital nurse, and within literally one minute, my dad received a confirmation call letting him know they had received it and were already working on it. Even more impressive, by the time he was discharged and made the 10-minute drive home, his prescription was already filled and ready for pickup. The level of efficiency was incredible. What really touched me was that the prescription label was printed in my dad's native Korean. That small detail speaks volumes about the care and respect they show their patients. My parents tell me this isn't a one-time experience--they receive this same exceptional service every time. I had 2 very BAD EXPERIENCES with PHIL-the head pharmacist in charge at Woodbridge Pharmacy. The first one happened at the beginning of Feb, when I came in for a consultation, and PHIL told me to wait until he helped another older Korean man who came in after me. I was there first, and he didn't ask me politely to wait, but rather told me that I must. The second incident happened on 2/12/2025, when I came in to pick up 2 meds my Dr. had sent over to them. Again, PHIL RUDELY TOLD ME IN A HOSTILE MANNER to wait until he helped 2 other ladies who came in after me, who worked in the same building, and were there to buy chips to snack on during their break. Phil did not ask me politely to wait, but helped people who came in AFTER I HAD ALREADY ARRIVED. Then when he did finally help me when they left, he was very ARROGANT AND DID NOT GIVE ME PROPER ATTENTION AND CUSTOMER CARE. My Dr. told me that my meds cost thousands of $$$, and I wanted to support a local pharmacy instead of going to the big name stores with pharmacies. On top of that PHIL gave me the WRONG RECEIPT because he didn't even bother to check it, as he was very RUSHED AND RUDE TO ME. Hope PHIL does NOT give the WRONG MEDS to others. I lost the chamber for a nebulizer that I urgently needed. No one I called had it in stock until I called Woodbridge Pharmacy. Thinking I could get away with the mask, which they had in stock but realized I couldn't when I arrived. I actually needed the chamber. Found items I can't find at retail pharmacies. Liquid compounds for my son who cannot take pills.

Really disappointed with my experience with this place. A new doctor sent a prescription to them that is only available in liquid form and the dosage accuracy is extremely important. They sent it in a cheap dropper bottle missing the tip and leaking. I emailed them which they never replied to. Ive since learned this place is charging twice as much for this medication compared to other pharmacies nearby. These guys come across as lazy and careless - there are plenty of other compounding pharmacies in the area, save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Woodbridge Pharmacy really deserves six stars. Phillip and his team are all so conscientious, warm, calm, an amazingly efficient. Sometimes they see me coming and already have my prescription at the register. The know their patients names! Yesterday I observed a more mature customer at the counter while I waited at the door. Phillip saw me but continued to speak calmly with this lovely lady until all her questions were answered. She did not even make a purchase, but he treated her with such respect as if she were the only important person in the room. I was just so impressed. The entire team is ALWAYS so kind, polite and amazingly efficient. If there is a difficulty with a prescription, they keep you informed until is resolved. This was my favorite pharmacy, and it has been there since my childhood. Brad and Austin were great! However, under new ownership, it has become a hassle. They never have what we need. This pharmacy has deteriorated under its new ownership. Nothing is ever ready, and they are unable to keep some of the most commonly prescribed medications in stock. They make mistakes with 75% of all orders, month after month. They don't catch simple and costly mistakes, like issuing a month's a very expensive weight loss/diabetes medication on a Saturday, then re-issuing it again two days later. read more

My mom and I have been to other pharmacies and none of them had the medication available that we needed. Apparently it is "not found on the list" and is difficult to find considering how strong the medication is. Luckily, this place had it available however they were only available to supply half of the amount that the Doctor had prescribed. But they told us that we were able to come in later in the week to pick up the rest since they had to order more. Despite this setback, I am still pleased that this pharmacy had the medication that we needed. The place can get busy, so I recommend going in the early hours of the day. GAVE WRONG MEDICATION and tried to blame me After getting my wisdom teeth removed, I was prescribed antibiotics. I received orange ish looking pills with no inscriptions on them, took them home, and started taking them. When I ran out of the pills before I was supposed to, I didn't think much of it and went back and explained to them and asked for more. They were not very friendly even though it was their mistake - and made me pay. When I finally received more antibiotics, they looked different (different color, size, and this had inscriptions). So I asked them if they had changed the way the antibiotics look. They said absolutely not, they had not changed it for years. So I tried explaining to them what they had given me before looked different. I was very alarmed since I had taken them for more than a week, but I tried talking with them very calmly, I just wanted to know what I had taken instead of the antibiotics then. The staff there was confused, which I understand. They had to get the guy who seemed like the head pharmacist (Brad?) involved. He was very unhelpful, ABSOLUTELY NO APOLOGIES, defensive, and seemed like he was trying to find a way to blame it on me. I understand mistakes happen, but the way they handled the situation was not okay. It seemed like they were trying to find a way to shift the blame and make the problem go away to save their reputation. I was the one in the vulnerable spot having taken unknown medication, but rather than trying to find a solution, the man was more focused on shifting the blame. Going into a pharmacy, I'm giving you my trust by consuming what you're giving me. I don't know if I'll ever go here again, but for your other customers, I really suggest you guys work with your patients rather than against.. read more

You cannot compare this pharmacy to CVS or Walgreens. The staff is amazing, I will not go to any other pharmacy. You get quick, personal service, helpful, knowledgeable, you feel like you are not just another number in line. I have spent many frustrating hours waiting in line at CVS and then get to the front of the line and there's an issue with my prescription or something is not on file, or whatever the situation and I am either left with no prescription or have to wait until something can be resolved. At Med Center you are dealing with people who actually care and will do their best to accommodate you. I was in there and needed to purchase a really expensive medicine for my daughter each month and they researched a coupon for me which saved me $80 per month on the medication. Why would you Go anywhere else? The only reason not to go here is because they are closed on Sundays I have been going to this pharmacy for close to 20 years and I must admit at times I've been had to go to CVS or some other place and it's always been a nightmare compared to the service you can get at medcenter. First place the prices are about the same as anybody else. What makes them special is the service they provide and the fact that they treat you like family. My first wife had breast cancer and as we struggled with the disease Brad would always order the epogen nepogen, tamoxin etc. and have the drugs ready for us when we needed them. They are great for day-to-day issues if you come down with something simple need a prescription they will have it ready in a very short time. read more
