I stopped by this pharmacy today to pick up a cough suppressant and ended up having one of the most helpful pharmacy experiences I've had in a long time. After I asked for suggestions, the gentleman behind the counter actually came out from behind the counter and walked me to the aisle instead of just pointing me in the direction. He took the time to ask what medications I'm currently taking and whether I have any allergies before recommending a couple of options that would be safe for me. It honestly felt like I was getting guidance from a personal nurse rather than just shopping in a store. I really appreciated how attentive, knowledgeable, and patient he was. Dr. Shar and dr. Vera are so helpful. When you are going through a rough time the last thing you want to do is to worry about not being able to get your meds because of the insurance games. I had a MTB Accident, I decided to stop by this pharmacy to support a local business, but the manager Shar, asked me if the packet was open, when it was not, I didn't want my money back, just to exchange for something else, since I paid $18.31. But She asked me for the receipt, that I couldn't find when I was at the store, maybe, because I'm limping and I'm on pain. Anyway, I came home to find the receipt on top of my counter, but it's not worth it to go back, that woman is so mean and the customer service is the worse, everything at that place is trash, not worth the drive. This pharmacy has been extremely helpful and prompt with all of my moms prescriptions. My mom's health has been declining, and has been requiring more and more prescriptions. At times we would need somethings quickly, and MedLife Pharmacy & Compounding has been kind, and efficient in ensuring we get the the necessary items for my moms care. She has taken the time to speak with me in detail on items pertaining to my mom and provided detail instructions and information. Pricing is competitive and on point with other compounding pharmacy, and they work with insurance. The value she has added to my moms care has been extraordinary and we are so fortunate to have found this pharmacy. This pharmacy was very helpful to my mom when it came to filling her prescription when we couldn't fill or find it any where else. The pharmacist was very nice and explained to my mom all the things she needed to do for her to get prescription filled and picked up the next day! Wow- I've never used that word to describe a Pharmacy but that is the least I can say about Medlife. The people are amazing, kind and understand how difficult it can be to navigate insurance coverage to get the right medications. The female pharmacist was very rude. I went in to fill a prescription and she's asking me what the problem is and not willing to fill. I just left the doctor and went here thinking they would be helpful but the lady was very rude acting like I didn't just see the doctor and it made me feel very uncomfortable. Dr Shar is an extremely rude person, my Fiance just picked up a prescription from this pharmacy and was yelled at in the pharmacy parking space for parking in it by this woman. First off you have no idea what patients/customers are going through when they are picking up pharmaceuticals, secondly you should show kindness and respect to all people especially if they are your customers and thirdly she was parked in the pharmacy parking spot picking up medication from your pharmacy. Dr Shar went out of her way to yell at her for doing exactly what she was supposed to be doing. Please ditch the pharmacy chains like CVS, RiteAid, Walgreens... and come to this place for your RX needs and more! The team members here are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Viral, you have been amazing! I found this place by accident when we were looking for sterile gauze. Viral and Dr. Shar took interest on the reason for the visit and answered our questions. I didn't end up needing to buy anything that day, but I switched my mother's pharmacy to them a few days after. Few weeks went by, I went in to pick up my mother's post surgery prescription, not only they remembered me, they also wanted to know how my mother's surgery was and how she's recovering. They also gave me tips and answered my questions about her other medical conditions. It is rare to encounter folks with such compassion and empathy nowadays. I originally posted a one star review. I was then contacted by the pharmacist owner to ask me about my experience. She asked me if I had previously been on long acting or immediately release that this would make a difference. I told her I would find out. ***************************************************** I am modifying my review come to find out I had previously only been on immediate acting progesterone which I do well on. The progesterone I was on through MedLife was long acting not sure if this was my particular issue in experiencing negative side effects mainly an exacerbation of estrogen dominance symptoms which is why I take progesterone to counter act. I have returned to the previous formulation through another compounding pharmacy. read more

Great customer service! I get my pets compounding medication here. My dog is on a LOT of different medications, Shar goes above and beyond to help me understand if I have any questions about a new dose/ medication. Her staff calls when my dog is about to run out/ and if I need to refill. My dog is a senior dog who is also diabetic and her staff answered all my questions about ordering Freestyle Libre for my dog! She's amazing, they all are! I've always had a great experience there. Even during Covid, they have been nothing but helpful. I highly recommend this pharmacy to anyone else with or without pets! I love this pharmacy! I have never been to any location with this personal and loving costumer service before. I have been looking for a smaller retail pharmacy that I trusted and had convenience for so long, I have had such bad luck with chain pharmacies. Just wow, the lady (apparently Dr. Shar) on the phone was in denial and very rude when I stated the medication we received had fewer doses than we ordered, even though I don't care about the replacement or discount. I just wanted to let them know that they made a mistake which is OK; it happens; she accused me of being a liar in response. Wow really? Is that how you treat your customers? We've been buying a medication here for more than a year, and once we had a hiccup, the reaction from that lady was bizarre. I moved on and called again one month later to order the medication and spoke with a lovely gentleman; however, she jumped on a call and started arguing about that again and telling me that I was wrong. My poor dog Arthur got diagnosed with having an inflamed liver and part of his cocktail of medication included compounded medicine. I did a quick search and Medlife popped up on the radar. It's a very clean and well-organized store and they even have really cute cards and stuffed animals in the front. I knew I was in good hands once I walked in with my dog's prescription. The people there were very attentive and the pharmacist was very kind and sweet. She was a little surprised when I told them Arthur wasn't a human but didn't skip a beat in their service. They even waited for me a little bit past closing when I called ahead to say I was running behind to pick up the medication. Arthur loved his medication and maybe it's because it was made so nicely; it certainly made my job easier. :) I returned once I used up all the medication after a month and the pharmacist asked me how he was doing! It's so nice she remembered him. :) No one likes having to get medicine, but Medlife makes it less stressful and even a little pleasant. read more

Medlife Pharmacy has blown us away. We're so grateful to Dr. Shar and her team. My young son needed medication and we were looking for a compounding pharmacy that could make it without sugar (sugar could exasperate his symptoms). Dr. Shar not only worked with our special request with such care and understanding, but also tried a few different "recipes" to see what my little one would like the taste of best. Although they didn't have the medication that I needed when I was unexpectedly ill, the pharmacist was kind enough to follow up with me. She called me back within 24 hours which I thought was good customer service. It's unfortunate that she couldn't have answered my questions any sooner, however, since by the time she'd called, I'd already gone with another pharmacy.
