The price of medication is crazy so I had to opt to fill one of my prescriptions here for the GoodRX discount. It is so laborious to do this. One of their pharmacy tech, Dennis, is such a grouch. I've had to refill my prescription 3 different times and each time I go, he is the one I have the misfortune to have to deal with. I always have to ask about my GoodRX pricing. This last visit was a disaster. We did the same song and dance. When the scanned price didn't match my GoodRX price, he stormed to the other end of the counter and said I had to reprocess my entire prescription. After 35 minutes of waiting, I go back and try to checkout and they still didn't process the price adjustment. I just paid it and left. Not worth my time. What really made our evening and week wonderful was meeting and being served by an amazing employee name Staci. Our experience is hard to put into words. She is such a bright and wonderful human being. We just felt like we were VIP and so special. She really stacked our individual cones. RiteAid is really blessed to have her as an employee. Last month I had a prescription filled here and when I came to pick it up, I asked the pharmacist if my insurance covered it and she told me yes but that my copay was quite high. My copay? $550. I was shocked but I have to have the medication so I paid. Days later I found out it was NEVER SUBMITTED to my insurance company. So I paid full price as if I have no insurance. would like to start off by saying the name of the employee was NALA I went in with four of my friends to get a cup of ice cream. We did not receive service for the first 10 minutes waiting in line at the ice cream check out when we finally went to go ask the lady to come since no one came. She got upset and told us that we had to wait because there was only one person she got extremely mad and she, in fact, only scooped half of our ice cream cups because for some reason we were really pissing her off by asking her to serve us. We were very patient mind you we waited 10 minutes before this, and even when paying, she raised her voice and snapped at us in front of multiple people which was humiliating given we did nothing wrong, we stayed respectful with her. Yes I'm giving this Rite-Aid 5 stars! This particular location was the last pharmacy I had called looking for the Shingrix vaccine for my mom. She suffers from terrible shingles on a daily basis and the regular zoster vaccine she doesn't meet the requirements for. I was feeling so dejected and sad when I called 5 pharmacies and kept getting the same answer, they were all on backorder until May and even longer! Finally when we called Rite-Aid and the friendly employee said they carried it we had to ask a second time just to make sure we heard it right!! I felt like the gates of heaven had opened up for us! The following week we came in and it was such a wonderful experience and the entire staff (not just the pharmacy) was on it with their exceptional customer service that they gave every customer (and not giving preferential treatment to their usual customers) Seriously the minute we walked in two people greeted us!! Then the wonderful pharmacy technicians helped us out and walked us through the entire process. Within 15 minutes after filling out paperwork and running insurance, my mom was being called for her shot. AND, there is a private room for vaccines! So no one hears other peoples personal health information and everything is confidential! The pharmacist was friendly and took less than 2 minutes to give my mom the shot! I noticed while my mom was waiting her turn to be called, I was looking for Eucerin & Aquaphor since one of her doctors highly suggest it for shingle pain. We had never been to this location and had no clue where things were and a lovely employee who was actually walking the aisles looking to help lost customers like myself! She didn't just tell me where the aisle is, she physically walked me to the aisle and the actual products! It is a serious pet peeve of mines when I can't find help in the stores and there isn't any employees on the floor to help! This was so refreshing and pleasant to have someone willing and ready to help customers! I'm not sure where the bad reviews are coming from since our entire experience was 5 star worthy. Considering my mom's go to pharmacy is Walgreens and we don't venture out to other pharmacies for medications and vaccines this location knocked it out of the park! ^___^ we highly recommend and will be back for mom's 2nd dose in a few months! read more

Very disappointed by the treatment I received by the cashier in the pharmacy today. I was unable to speak and held up my ID and a note explaining what I needed. Then when I went to check out HE pushed the button to skip the rating on the credit card machine without my permission, and also handed me half the receipt that didn't show the code to do a review of my experience. It is very unfortunate when someone has a physical disability, whether permanent or temporary, they are treated poorly through the way they are greeted, served, and when completing the transaction. I think your employee needs a refresher on customer service. AND I HAD A QUESTION WRITTEN ON THE PAPER THAT WAS COMPLETELY IGNORED. I even pointed showing him twice! read more

I was just inside the Rite Aid on Jamboree in Tustin Ranch. I observed an employee scooping ice cream. He had a long bushy beard and was not wearing a mesh covering over the beard. When I asked the Manager why he wasn't wearing a mesh covering she said that he usually does. I pointed out that it's a Health Code violation to be serving food/ice cream without a mesh covering over a beard. I'm very disappointed in the fact that the Manager didn't feel that it was a problem. 11/22/2019 I was able to arrange free autism sensitivity trainings for their OC stores, which the District Manager, Store Manager agreed to. Then come to find out their corp office only approved training for this one store ONLY.THEN I find out that they only required one employee ( plus the store and district manager ) to attend the training. No other employee ! Are you kidding me? They do not see how this horrible incident has affected our son! He is paranoid and anxious when we are out shopping, because he thinks someone is going to approach him and accuse him of stealing! Our son is struggling mentally over this, and you can't even ensure that your employees are trained properly and correctly? And then you send us a coupon for free ice cream? Hello peeps! Many of you might not know the planning that goes into running retail business along with managing staff and catering to the public. It amazes me the little credit that this Rite Aid gets because they constantly follow the rules as So real quick: Yes, no matter what age you are they will card you when purchasing alcohol! No, you can't double up or use expired coupons, "READ THE RESTRICTIONS" first! Have patience when asking the impossible since staff can't always grant everyone's requests & management approval is always needed, especially when cashiers are limited to handle these types of situations. I shop at this store weekly and standing in line waiting for the person in front me that's taking up time especially with everything mentioned above, is ludicrous to me! I feel like these types of people obviously have an agenda. I've personally worked retail as a manager many years ago and people like this make the shopping experience awful.
