I am so disappointed with Walgreens pharmacy at this location. They should not promise when they couldn't deliver. Their staff is not well trained and the pharmacy manager doesn't care much about the customers. When another customer and I asked to speak to the RX Manager, he refused to come out. This pharmacy is a mess and a nightmare. A doctor called in a prescription. When I arrived they said it would be twenty minutes, they didn't fill because they " didn't know it if I wanted it. " An hour later when I returned, they didn't fill because they couldn't find my insurance. They just helped person after person behind me because they couldn't find my insurance even though I said I would pay out of pocket and handle later. Two hours later, they discovered they were spelling my name wrong. Three and a half hours after I arrived, I got partial fills because they didn't not have the medications. Picking up refills was almost an identical rerun. I will never return to any Walgreens. Try Amazon, you'll never return. read more

They refuse to fill your prescriptions even if you have a medically diagnosed condition. Once they receive the correct diagnostic code, they refuse to accept your insurance. Once they decide to accept your insurance for your medical condition, they switch your brand-name medications to cheap generics, even when the doctor handwrites the brand-name medications. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like they charge my insurance the brand-name price but give you cheap (cheap medications have many side effects) generics. Once you finally get your brand-name medications for your medically diagnosed condition in their system, and your insurance covers it correctly, they make you wait two to three days after your medications run out because somehow their electronic phone system says your doctor didn't send the refill, even though your doctor says he has. You literally have to go inside the pharmacy and speak to the head pharmacist if he's there at all or get him on the pharmacy phone, which takes forever (calling multiple times because the phone system drops your call), while everyone laughs at you behind the mirror because they don't want to give you your medications for some unknown reason. Like, why are you a pharmacist and a technician if you don't want to fill and give the medications to the patients? What kind of pharmacy laughs at its patients while they pick up their medications? Worst experience ever. The medications they gave me caused massive headaches. They also refuse to accept my daughter's insurance and prescription medications. They refuse to fill her pediatrician's prescriptions and force you to buy expensive over-the-counter equivalents. What's the point of having insurance if the pharmacies do not use it to cover all the meds that doctors prescribe? Lastly, they refused to update my name in their system, which they claimed to have done. When I finally received my meds after a 3-day delay every month caused by them, my name was still incorrect on the receipt. For certain meds, we have to carry the receipt with us at all times, and it must have our correct name. P.S: What's the point of paying FICA taxes my entire working life, if when my daughter and I need to access those benefits, pharmacies, technicians, dentists, doctors etc...refuse to take the card, use it, run it, they double bill it, and try to upsell you on services, demand only cash for prescriptions meds, laugh at you, and mistakenly say it's free money and to make matters worse they won't treat you at all. Had a vaccination scheduled for Sept 9 and there was absolutely no one in the pharmacy. One person cut around and found an individual filling prescriptions but they seemed slow and unprofessional. I come here every so often for the printing services. I get Christmas cards printed here and just recently used them to print 20x30 posters for my mom's memorial service. Everything I've had printed has turned out great. They are good quality and they often have 50% off deals so they have the best prices. When I bring my 2 year old we hang out in the seasonal toy aisle and he gets lots of entertainment. They have some uniqe and reasonably priced things here that you dont really find anywhere else. I usually cave in and buy my son a toy or 2. I always get good customer service and am very happy with our purchases. read more

The cashier Dahlia (spelling) was a terrible representative of this Walgreens location. I watched her interact with an Asian woman in a very unpolite manner. No greetings or pleasantry. Until two Caucasian shoppers came up she started being a pleasant cashier by greeting each one with a "how are you" and "have a good day". Now as my turn came around, again her pleasant demeanor went away. She never said one word to me and just stared at me in disgust. She rang up my items without telling me the cost and handed the receipt in a get lost gesture. I called the Walgreen after I left to speak with the store manager. The same cashier transferred me to the pharmacist when I specifically asked for the store manager. Store manager and pharmacist does not sound alike, so she did the incorrect transfer purposely. I spoke with lead after the pharmacist transferred me to her. The lead was very kind. But that cashier needs to be disciplined and retrained in customer service. Since she represents this Walgreen in a racist way, this store should receive negative stars. read more

This location refused to give vaccinations to people with an immune deficiency, and basically required documentation to verify immune status which, is different from what the CDC and California department of health states on their websites. What happened to this walgreens?! And, can you atleast hire people who care, specifically managers. Ive ordered 2 photobooks 2 weeks apart and its never ready when its supposed to be. The excuse both times were..."The photo guy is on lunch" I drove all the way over 2x with my infant. Gas is not cheap and its not like its "hassle free" lugging my baby around. I was waiting in line to pay when this lady (the Manager of this store named Diane) was yelling at this poor employee named Jason (saw it on his tag) She was yelling at him like if he was her child. Need to print out a custom photo poster for a last minute inspired gift? You came to the right place! You know how certain people are sometimes paralyzed with indecision of making the right choice for an anniversary gift and wait until the last second to get something? Well, that's this guy right here! Lol. So I create a photo collage for a 24x36 poster through the Walgreens website after uploading a dozen photos. I click order and apply a 30% discount which becomes $21 after its initial $30 price. Not bad! The expected ready time for the poster was 6:45pm but I get an email after 8pm that the poster is finally ready. Only an hour late, I guess. I make a U-turn while driving from a long day of work and head here instead. After arriving, I walk over to the photo area and there's nobody manning the station. There's a cashier talking to a customer and I suppose he's the one who is supposed to work here. Thanks goodness it isn't too crowded tonight! After a few minutes of waiting, the cashier comes over and looks for my photo poster. I recognize the poster and I point out that I think I see it lying near the printer. Well, he doesn't pick up the poster and doesn't know how to run the photo processing. He has to bring in some other guy to help. After a few minutes, a second guy comes over and retrieves my poster and rolls it up into a plastic poster sleeve. I pay for it and leave. The photo poster itself is a decent print. It seemed like the top of the poster is cut prematurely because the edge of the poster seems awfully close to my head in one of the photos. Well, it will have to do, right? Walgreens on the corner of Alton & Jeffrey in Irvine CA must be very short-staffed. They called me this week to ask if I was going to pick up a certain prescription. I requested delivery. The lady agreed & asked about 2 more of my prescriptions. I told her to mail them too. I got the 1st prescription yesterday-by itself. Today I got message that the other 2 scrips were "picked up" yesterday. I didn't go to Walgreens yesterday...so I called today & a lady checked- my scrips are ready to be picked up by Fed Ex. But I explained message said scrips were picked up yesterday & she's saying those 2 scrips are at pharmacy waiting to be picked up for delivery...so confusing. I've never gotten prescriptions here but have gone in for over-the-counter medicines, various sundries and - okay, I'll admit it - their Good & Delish brand ice cream. The "Celebrity Apprentice" flavors are especially good (Vanilla Chocolate Magic Swirtle and Maple Macadamia Mash Up). This Walgreens is always very neat and tidy. Things are easy to find. Went to pick up the order a few days later and the staff said that since I didn't pick up the item within 24 hours of the email, they restocked the item (a policy that is not listed on their website, on my order confirmation email or order pick up email) and no longer had my order available despite the fact I had already paid for it online. Walgreens customer service line wasn't much more help. After being transferred to 4 different technicians, I was transferred to someone who worked at this Walgreens location who then proceeded to tell me they found my order. This location is one of the current location just because of where the building six. It is right off of the main road so it's pretty easy to get there. I'd like to stop at Walgreens before I head off to my sons basketball games and football games because this Walgreens is located right around the corner from the school. I also stop at Walgreens when I drop my son off to school but lately he has been getting a ride from his friends so I haven't had an opportunity to stop by as much as I used to. The parking lot is pretty clean at this location there's not a lot of trash in dirt in the parking lot like other Walgreens locations.. I always get the aspirin packets want to go to this Walgreens. They always have a really good price on the aspirin packets here. Every other store I go to they charge so much money for those things. But this Walgreens usually have a pretty good deals on them so I try to buy as many as I can when I am there because again I don't always get a chance to go there as often as possible. read more

Don't try calling the pharmacy a head of time to fill your prescription. I spent 21 min on hold while driving to this location. No one in Line, I walk up to counter and I can hear my call on hold just ringing away. I need a prescription and had to wait 30 min to be filled. So I left my phone on too see if they would ever answer it. Nope. Some one picked up Phone after 38 min and with out say anything just put me back on hold. One hour later I gave up. Paid online for Christmas cards and everything was looking good! But when we went to pick it up over a day after it was ready, we were told: 1. Their machine was broken so they couldn't make any of the cards 2. We have to re-make the order online at the Huntington Beach location 3. Have to drive all the way to Huntington Beach in order to get our cards I am aware this may not technically be the fault of this Walgreens location - but we didn't receive a phone call when they found out the machine was broken. It may have been broken by the time we made the order even. They accepted our payment online of course, and gave us no information about a refund...so I'm currently out 50$ (confirmed processed by my bank) and have to re-pay 50$ to remake the order and drive way out of my way to get it? What if the machine there is broken too? Lack of customer communication and care. Out 50$ with no cards and no help from the workers on how to get reimbursed. Now they speak to you like you're stupid, take twice as long to fill a prescription, while talking loudly enough that the entire waiting room knows what medications you're taking.
