This is only about the photo service. I recommend the service despite my complaints. I was trying to order photo cards online. Their online service kept dropping my order so I had to start over several times. The final result was excellent and inexpensive. I tried to call the store directly to get help with the website but I was left on hold so long that I hung up. Finally I received an email telling me to come into pick up the photos and the pickup process was easy. read more

I was there for my rotation. The pharmacist and the technicians are nice but the store manager, didn't even say hi to me and she ignored my presence there and saw me as only free labor. She even didn't get to know me and in the last day when I was explaining to the new pharmacist what I was doing there after he asked me she just walked to the window and told him " she is not licensed, she is a FILLER". I was so upset after helping them so much instead of thank you on the last day she called me a filler. I'm happy that I'm not going to work there. I prefer to work somewhere that I'm being respected. My mad dash for Rimmel lipsticks at 50% has prompted me to visit three Walgreens in a day! This location on Alton has the best prices! I remembered that I had previously shopped here for baby items, and they are significantly cheaper here than at the Woodbury location! This is a tiny store, but they have great deals! Look through both their monthly coupon book and weekly, sometimes they have coupons you can use together (channeling the extreme couponer in me). I'm usually prone to go to Target for their massive selection, but really, you can find great deals here, like a box of Q-Tips for a $1, spices for $1, things you need but don't really think to buy! Anyhow, the lipsticks came out to $2.64 and $2.74, whereas the Woodbury location charged $3.24! RSM location was $2.99. I like coming here because parking is easy and the employees always greet you on the way in and out! read more

I'm not sure how well this Walgreens will fare seeing CVS is across Jeffrey Road and has a lot more stuff at more competitive prices. The store's layout is chaotic and it looks and feels really messy even though this location only opened not too long ago. Don't think I will be shopping here as often as I thought I would even though it is closer to me than the CVS. I think I'll stick with CVS thank you very much! read more

I go to this Walgreens because I live across the street from it. Otherwise I probably would stick to cvs. They are definitely overpriced, more expensive then cvs for sure but it's convenient. The staff are friendly. Every time I walk in they always welcome me which is nice. First time I've ever used this Walgreens and will be the last. They advertise delivery online but fail to mention that delivery takes 3 days. They tell me the prescription will be ready in ten minutes and they'll send a text so I can set up a delivery for this afternoon but an hour later, still no text. I call back to find out that they didn't send the text, they take 3 days to deliver and they're just plain rude. They seriously could not care less. The prescription is for a cancer drug to enable the patient to eat. Hasn't eaten since yesterday because of the pain but they don't care. I would think that it was due to COVID but I've had similar problems with other Walgreens - taking days to fill a prescription because they're too lazy to call the doctor, telling us to pick up the prescription and then we go to the store that same day to find out it's still not filled or it was restocked, restocking the prescription before we can get out there after I've told them repeatedly that transportation is difficult for us and to not restock. However, this is something of a new low even for them. What is the matter with pharmacies that don't care at all about their own customers? People need their medications desperately and they couldn't care less about common courtesy or basic ethics. Similar problems with Rite-Aid which is why we switched to Walgreens. Now going to CVS. Word to the wise. Don't pay online with PayPal for your order pickup. I ordered photos and paid online with PayPal to speed things up and when I went to pick up the pictures, Angelo in photo center said their system didn't show it was paid for even tho I had a receipt from PayPal. I am 77 yrs old and have been going to Walgreens for 60 yrs. The soda fountain in S.F. on Market St way back in the 50's. Been mostly using them all this time. Now I'm at the age where I need some meds once in while so why not a familiar Walgreens. So at the Huntington beach store where I have been getting meds for a couple yrs now, I go in and there 6 people behind the counter playing with there phones. I ask for some help to pick up. They say in a minute, ok. 5 minutes and two more customers come in. I ask again, nothing. After 15 min I raise my voice and say you have customers out here. Still nothing, then a guy comes out and starts threatening me and yelling. At my age I didn't feel like a confrontation, so I shut up and obey. So after 60 yrs I pull all my business from them. Will never step foot in that chain again and will tell everyone I know what jerks they are. read more

I went there to pick up my medication and initially was okay with customer service. The lady helped me transfer my meds from another pharmacy to this one and told me to take a seat and wait for her to confirm it for me. This was at 7:45 pm. I literally sat there until 8:45 with no word whatsoever if the transfer was confirmed. I assumed it must have been so I went back in line to pick it up. Here I am in line and the manager calls out "Kat," so I think it's just him calling out to an employee. A couple minutes later I make eye contact with him and then I hear him tell an employee, "She's just standing there" in a sort of rude tone. Soon after the employee called out my name. That's the only time I hear my full name called out at any point during this whole visit. When I went up to pay, the total came out to a higher price than expected. But because the manager and her were talking, I couldn't tell whether or not I should say anything right away about paying. Since I wasn't swiping my card, she then look at me and rudely asked, "aren't you going to swipe it?" with a completely annoyed face. I asked her to get rid of the medication that cost the most and she didn't even answer and carelessly threw my medication off to the side. When I was about to swipe, I had a problem swiping because i needed approval from the cashier side. So I stood there and she looked annoyed when I asked if my card went through or not and that's when she approved whatever she needed to. All in all, I won't be coming back to get my medicine here. The pharmacists have made mistakes about the medication that I regularly use 3 times in the past 3 months. Even calling and asking to come back and bring the bottles and then saying that it's been an error. Once I stated explaining that this has been happening every time since Feb. the person got mad and hung up the phone. Just accept that you make too many mistakes and don't be dismissive about it. It must say something that even though I have a penchant for shopping at drugstores, and this Walgreens is about two blocks from my house, I still opt to get in my car and drive to the CVS in the next strip mall. When I absolutely have to go to this store, I will, but it vexes me greatly. I mean that may sound funny to most considering it's just a drugstore, but it really does bother me! The layout of the store is such that finding anything is difficult. Store clerks are few and far between, and if you have a question and are lucky enough to be able to find one and ask, their annoyance with you is made quite apparent. Now the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one, is there is one employee who does go above and beyond and actually seems to care about his job and helping you. If I could remember his name I would give him a shout out here. He's a younger kid with brown hair and plays the guitar. If you're reading this, good job! Thanks for being helpful!! Other than when he is working, forget about anyone manning the register. You practically have to hunt someone down and beg them to be able to pay for your goods and leave! I am only writing about the photo department. I had a passport photo taken. It looked ok on the tiny camera they use. When I saw the printout though it was terrible! I seemed to have lost the bridge of my nose. It looked flattened0. I guess the store's florescent lights didn't help either because I looked a little sick even though I was smiling. LOL It was $16 which seemed like a lot for the quality photo I received. I guess I should have looked up passport photo places before I went to Walgreens. I probably would not have gone there if I did and would suggest you not go there either. It just seemed convenient at the time. One positive is they prepare your photo quickly. I am going someplace else to retake it. I don't want to look SO awful in print for the next decade! read more

I admire you for your Lotto machines and in-house scratcher dispensers. And for your Chase ATM when you're located next door to a Chase branch with more Chase ATM's (if that's not convenient haha). I also like your strange selection of magazines that take a little longer than usual to stock with new issues. Your pharmacy is fast and nice, and your employees are pretty cool. I was doing delivery with Uber and this was my first time in the store, I had to pick up a certain drug, I had no idea what it was and I patiently waited to speak with one the staff, and this guy with HUGE HOLES ON HIS EAR told me that he can't help me find this item, but he told me he can tell what aisle possibly is the item and I went there observed the aisle to 20 minutes but couldn't find it, before I was looking for this item I did a google search on this item, so I can see what did it look like, but that unfortunately did not help, then I searched the neighboring aisle, still couldn't find it, then I looked for this guy again with HUGE HOLES ON HIS EARS , I told him that I still couldn't find this item and before I asked him to help me find it, he told me, that he has "BUSINESS TO DO and IM NOT GONNA DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU" even though he was in the front desk as cashier not doing shit. LOOK guy WITH HUGE HOLES ON HIS EARS, YOU DONT WORRY ABOUT MY JOB, YOU CAN'T EVEN DO YOUR JOB, you WORTHLESS Piece Of Shit. By far the worst customer service at a Walgreens. For starters I am not from the area, I came to visit a friend speaking at Concordia university. I want to wipe my makeup off as I think I had an allergy or something. I came internationally to buy makeup wipes. When it was time to pay Matthew was unresponsive as to the total, he didn't engage in any acknowledgement or response he did give me a dirty look and looked away. I had no idea this Walgreens existed until I attempted to go to Tall Mouse...which is now Walgreens. But hey, I rolled with the punches and figured it would save me a trip to Target. I was pleased with this store! Yes, it is smaller and more cramped then CVS across the street, but the layout is almost exactly the same. I got my Walgreens brand cold medicine and tea and was quickly on my way. The cashier was really friendly, even though I was sneezing all over the place. I MUCH prefer the parking lot at Oak Creek over the one across the street where CVS is...so that might be my deciding factor in where I go! read more

I live around the area, so I come here quite often for whatever I need at the drugstore. I noticed the customer service here has gone down a lot in the last couple of years ... I noticed they hire high schoolers a lot more now, maybe that's why? No greeting as you walk in, nobody asks you if you need help, and when you do need help, it takes a while just to find someone. On most days, I don't really care whether someone greets me or not, but I know from my past working experience that most places tell you to greet the customer. I find it most irritating when I want to find a product and no sales associate is to be found on the floor. The cosmetics department really upsets me, because whoever is working at the cosmetics counter always eyes you. It makes me feel really uncomfortable because they make me feel like I'm a shoplifter! I think they also make you pay for cosmetics at the cosmetics counter. Other than issues with the customer service, I actually really like coming here because their clearance/last chance items are REALLY cheap, so look for the orange stickers/tags!! This location usually has a good selection of last chance items, so keep an eye out. read more

Dear Walgreens, You know what I find hypocritical? That your employees are instructed to say, "Be well" as you leave the store, yet the tables directly in front of the store have like the majority of the staff blowing SMOKE on you and your kids (NOT cool) as you enter/exit ALL day long. It could be that your employees are turning to cigs to cope with how their treated by their managers. I have been in the store countless times and watched managers micromanage and berate employees right in front of customers. I have also seen employees instructed to do ridiculous things, like re-label and entire wall of products for "better visibility." I've had to come by a few times to pick up bulk meds for our medical practice as well, and they have always been professional and courteous. The store is clean and well-stocked, but the customer service is in a "crisis". To begin with, I ordered pictures, picture books, and Christmas cards and relied on their "same day pick-up service" with their 100% satisfaction guaranteed promise. My orders weren't ready on time, some were cancelled after four valuable days - without a given reason. When I went into the store to inquire, it was hard to find an employee in the photo area. (The store had only two other customers - who also stood in line.) When the photo "specialist" finally came out of their back room, he couldn't care less. They had problems with photo paper or whatever. No apologies. Since it's closest to our home, we returned to that place for pass photos, but apparently their machine is broken. If you go there to buy from the shelve, you may be lucky. Just don't rely on their services... read more

Last weekend mom was in the ER and was sent home with an RX, I looked for the closest Walgreens from Hoag and this one popped up, my mom deals with Walgreens for their home delivery system but when she's given a paper prescription on the spot she usually has go to a retail pharmacy location unless we are in the area of her main pharmacy. After dealing with the horrible Walgreens in Nevada I was truly hoping for a better experience and my prayers were answered! I walked in on Saturday afternoon and no one was in line! A friendly PhT greeted me and knew his stuff, he informed me ahead of time (which I greatly appreciated) if my RX would cost, I hate when you come back to pick it up and your slapped with it, better to know a head of time! I ran to Walmart while it was being filled and by the time I came back it was ready, the pharmacist was just as nice and wanted to make sure we didn't have any questions which was nice. Review is for pharmacy only. There is an Asian woman that works here that doesn't speak clear English and was incredibly RUDE and short with me after being on hold for about 40 minutes! She didn't want to help me out and told me I should call another Walgreens location. My pharmacy was supposed to transfer a prescription to this location since they had the medicine in stock here. I specifically wanted to pick up my prescription from here since I knew for sure they had it in stock instead of risking another location not having it. She suggested I go to Walgreens closer to me (even though I was willing to drive further) and getting my prescription transferred over there. She then hung up on me. This review is for the pharmacy only. I just recently discovered that my insurance covers vaccines at the local drug store. When I needed my tdap, I found this Walgreens and made an appointment for later that day. I don't think appointments are required, but I didn't have to fill out paperwork when I arrived. They were pretty quick about the vaccine and didn't give me a hard time, like the Rite Aid did earlier that day. There were a lot of people in line for the pharmacy, so I think I was in the store for about an hour in total. They were really nice to everyone, even the people who seemed to have complex problems or complaints. I didn't get a chance to look at the Walgreens- it seemed a little small and older as I rushed to the back, but since I didn't need anything I didn't give it a fair chance. read more
