They refuse to fill your prescriptions even if you have a medically diagnosed condition. Once they receive the correct diagnostic code, they refuse to accept your insurance. Once they decide to accept your insurance for your medical condition, they switch your brand-name medications to cheap generics, even when the doctor handwrites the brand-name medications. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like they charge my insurance the brand-name price but give you cheap (cheap medications have many side effects) generics. Once you finally get your brand-name medications for your medically diagnosed condition in their system, and your insurance covers it correctly, they make you wait two to three days after your medications run out because somehow their electronic phone system says your doctor didn't send the refill, even though your doctor says he has. You literally have to go inside the pharmacy and speak to the head pharmacist if he's there at all or get him on the pharmacy phone, which takes forever (calling multiple times because the phone system drops your call), while everyone laughs at you behind the mirror because they don't want to give you your medications for some unknown reason. Like, why are you a pharmacist and a technician if you don't want to fill and give the medications to the patients? What kind of pharmacy laughs at its patients while they pick up their medications? Worst experience ever. The medications they gave me caused massive headaches. They also refuse to accept my daughter's insurance and prescription medications. They refuse to fill her pediatrician's prescriptions and force you to buy expensive over-the-counter equivalents. What's the point of having insurance if the pharmacies do not use it to cover all the meds that doctors prescribe? Lastly, they refused to update my name in their system, which they claimed to have done. When I finally received my meds after a 3-day delay every month caused by them, my name was still incorrect on the receipt. For certain meds, we have to carry the receipt with us at all times, and it must have our correct name. P.S: What's the point of paying FICA taxes my entire working life, if when my daughter and I need to access those benefits, pharmacies, technicians, dentists, doctors etc...refuse to take the card, use it, run it, they double bill it, and try to upsell you on services, demand only cash for prescriptions meds, laugh at you, and mistakenly say it's free money and to make matters worse they won't treat you at all. Omg.

Many other pharmacies in Walgreens, CVS, Target, Walmart, etc. all close at around 5 PM and some aren't even open on the weekend (Sunday), but this one was. Not sure if this is just a change in CVS that I haven't paid attention to, or if it was always like that. There's self check out and the staff working was super friendly and helpful. Shout out to the cashier girl who talked Calico Critters with me, you a real one. Stock is fairly decent for seasonal items and it didn't look super disorganized. Lots of World Cup merchandise randomly and it's always so funny that the souvenirs for Irvine are ocean and beach themed when you're not even THAT close to the water but I guess it works in a pinch for those unfamiliar with California geography. Plenty of parking since it's in a super big plaza and the time where we went wasn't that busy (as many things have already closed).

Call in with a manufacturers discount coupon I was given, told it doesn't work. I call doctor and manufacture, told coupon is valid and instructions to ensure it goes through. Received another "ready for pick up" text Thursday 4/23, go in to pick it up on 4/24, spend an hour troubleshooting the coupon, told it still doesn't work. I tell them "I'll be back with my HSA card to pick up on Sunday" - return Sunday 4/26, told "medication is on hold"...sent to consultation window, told "the coupon does work" and the total is now $500...and it's not filled, in fact, it was never filled... I explain everything, they say "I don't know who worked with you, but the coupon works, but the item was never filled" - provide text showing it was filled, proceed to identify by name the 2 people who helped me troubleshoot on Friday, one of those identified claims "I never helped you"...after some pushback says "you declined the medication"...and the kicker, "the item is out of stock"... tl;dr First, they said it was $400, then they said coupon didn't work, then said they never helped me, then they say it was never filled. Then I prove it was filled, now they say they DID help me, but claim I declined it. Suddenly now the coupon works, it's $500, but it's out of stock? This place is a joke. Other things to note: The nearby hospitals send everyone here because it's 24 hours, so there's almost always a line. There are a few kind and patient staff members, but otherwise the rest are unhelpful and some will lie straight to your face.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE at the front counter for the general store…read more Went in this evening around 7:30pm. Was purchasing several large cereal boxes and an electric razor. The cashier, Eddie, was extremely ARROGANT AND HARSH. He charged me for 2 bags, which was fine because I was using EBT for the purchase, so it would come off and it did, and then he charged for 2 more bags because the other 2 bags came off for the EBT. That means he manually charged me for a total of 4 bags. When I brought this to his attention, he said that since I was also purchasing an electric razor which is not a food item, he was completely justified in charging for the bag charges, even though I was purchasing 2 large boxes of cereal. I told him to cancel my whole order, as I was completely frustrated with him at this point, and he did not even inform me he was charging me for additional bags. To make matters worse, the assistant manager-Jeff was standing there and did not intervene in what was clearly a very bad customer service experience. I was so frustrated, I called the store back when I got home, and Jeff was very apathetic to me. I told him that I was extremely upset about what had just happened and also that he did not intervene, as Jeff has seen me there a few times and knows me as a regular customer there. Jeff did not want to take any proactive actions as part of the managerial staff there, and instead told me to call back in 2 days and speak with the store manager, David. This is actually the 2nd time I have had a horrible customer experience with Eddie. 2 months ago I purchased some food items and a battery for my smoke detector. Eddie charged me twice for the one single smoke detector I was purchasing. It was an ordeal to have him fix his error, as he insisted he had made no mistake at all. Then when he finally took off the extra charge, he was extremely ARROGANT AND HARSH, and made no apology for his mistakes and HORRIBLE ATTITUDE.

At approximately 8:55 PM, a pharmacy staff member in a blue uniform approached me and informed me that the pharmacy was now closed and that I would need to return another time. I was given no opportunity to be served, despite the fact that: 1. I was physically present and in line BEFORE the closing time. 2. The excessive delay was caused by the transaction ahead of me -- not by any action on my part. 3. I was not warned at any point during my wait that I might not be served. 4. No reasonable effort was made to accommodate a customer who had been waiting in good faith. This is not simply an inconvenience depending on the nature of the prescription, a refusal to dispense medication to a patient already waiting in line can have serious health consequences. Turning away a customer who arrived before closing, due to a delay the customer had no part in creating, is both a failure of customer service and potentially contrary to your own service standards.

I went by to pick up a cable cord, found it by myself, total waste of time. Dropped by to pick up a lamp and television because I just moved to a new apartment, and the cashier was beyond stupid. Waited in line for 30 minutes and I'm not joking, the cashier is slow and rude. So she also told me that I was next in line to the cashier next to her, only problem, she only announced it secretly to the cashier and didn't tell the customer. I had to speak up and tell the customer behind her that I was next in line. I don't work here, the original cashier should have established that I was next in line, it's not some secret. So I yelled at her that she needed to tell the customer and the cashier instead of just telling me I had to wait for the other cashier. I was about to leave the store, this idiot just took the next customer and the other cashier took her next customer while I had to wait standing there telling the cashier that I was next in line. These morons play it off like it's normal behavior, so I took a picture of the cashier who originally screwed up, and she suddenly spoke English and got upset with me. She clearly wasn't going to get my phone, but she tried to. Either way, the cashier sucks, she takes forever to do a simple job designed for teenagers. Also, nobody assists you here, nobody cares about their jobs here. When you buy a lamp you have to go to another area to find the light bulbs for it. Plus the parking lot sucks, people hit your car with their doors. If you complain they don't review the cameras, they don't want to be liable for it. This place is garbage. Shop somewhere else.
