First I fell down the Kdrama hole. Then I fell down the BTS hole. And then I found joy for Korean celebrities. Next thing I knew I was getting curious about Korean skincare. So, here I am, passing through town and come upon an interesting Korean skincare shop right Irvine. Understanding Korean skincare is still a bit of a mystery to me as there are many steps to caring for your skin and this store has so many products to support that method of loving on your skin and taking good care of it! Of everything I've bought here, I love them all (except for the one mask that irritated my skin a bit, but I think that is just because it was my skin. Perhaps it's great for other people). I have gotten many masks here and have loved them all. I've also gotten moisturizer, toner, cleanser here. I did try a shampoo once but my hair didn't totally love it. That's ok. Someone else's hair will. And their little hand creams are great gifts and perfect for throwing in your purse. They moisturize well. My most recent risk buy was lipstick and I love it! One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The man working there was extremely disrespectful and rude. All of the other reviews are not exaggerating in the slightest. I had planned to visit the store for a while and I was so excited to try out new products. The man's tone and response when I asked a simple question was extremely rude. He also did not tell me it was final sale until after I paid and responded with much attitude. There was a female employee in the store and she was so sweet, but her kindness was overshadowed by this man's behavior. You don't know what people are going through, kindness goes a long way. I understand that customers aren't always right, but I was simply asking a question about the product because I have very sensitive skin. The man I spoke to cut me off before I could even finish explaining my concern. When I told him that was rude, he responded, "I don't think that was rude." Again, I understand this isn't a high-end brand, but that doesn't excuse the lack of basic customer service. I'm not sure if he felt I was criticizing the brand, but that wasn't my intention at all. I genuinely wanted to learn more about the product and was planning to purchase it. But with that kind of attitude, I don't want to buy it. My family and I visited Nature Republic in Irvine, California on Father's Day 06/15/2025. I want to give a great review to sales associates Dani and Joselyn for their informative input on the product we purchased. Dani is very knowledgeable with each product for men and women and she is a very polite and friendly associate. We spent approximately one hour in the store and both Dani and Joselyn were very patient and helpful with our needs and purchases. I previously visited the store In July 2024 and at that time Dani was there as well and was very helpful in helping me with my product and purchase. I look forward to returning to Nature Republic soon to make more purchases, but what makes it even more pleasant is the fantastic customer service by Dani, and Joselyn. read more

Received a Xmas gift from a younger family member. Took it back to exchange for something that I could possible use. The manager said they will not exchange or refund anything. It would be very bad business if they did. He also said it is not their job. to let every customer who buys anything that every sale is final. He was rude condescending and I would never ever shop there and would tell everybody I know not to shop there. I've never heard of a reputable store have a policy that you can't return and or exchange something . Especially when it has not been opened. The manager himself would be one reason I would never step foot in that store again. His business practice is extremely shady. read more

The selection here is great! Nice, clean, and very spacious! They always have great deals or promos going on. The one in Brea suddenly closed but I'm glad this one is still around! I highly recommend their Sun Sticks. I've tried many brands of SPF sticks but they all burn my eyes! Nature Republic's doesn't! This store plays a major role in my trips to OC, lol. I first went to Nature Republic back home in Hawaii a few years ago. Absolutely fell in love and never turned back! This particular location is at the Irvine Spectrum, closest to Target and entrance #8. This is the nearest location to me, as there are none in San Diego or the IE! =( Finding this line of beauty products has truly been a godsend! I love everything here: the skincare, hair care products, makeup, even beauty tools! My skin has thankfully been problem free for most of my life. I'm grateful to have inherited great genes, and a glowing complexion! Never really had any skin problems aside from the occasional dry patches in the colder months and a zit here or there. Recently went in for their 1 year anniversary sale and found a gel cream to make those dry patches a thing of the past! I've tried a lot of creams, gels, lotions, all of which claim to help with dry skin. None of them really can compare to the stuff I've found at Nature Republic! The consistency of the gel cream feels so good on my face, I feel like I'm getting a facial every single time I put it on! The best thing about it is it moisturizes for 72 hours which is beyond me...but it actually does work! They sell another product that is similar, and moisturizes for longer than 72 hours, but this one's good enough for me! They always have promos going on, or some type of sale. I've walked out spending way more than I had planned, but it's always worth it when you have amazing skin! Their peach body lotion is one of my faves, too! Definitely leaves you soft and smelling like a snack, lol!! Everyone who works here is so nice. The few times I've come in, I am always greeted by an employee with a smile. They always let me know what specials they have going on and assist me with sampling products upon request. Pricing is really good imo. Compared to those big names and department store prices, I will choose to come here over and over again. If you are wanting to jump ship from your current skincare line, I highly suggest coming here to try some of their products. They give you samples with every purchase. Sometimes you can score a sample kit of skincare products with a $50 or $100 purchase. I got the Vitamin C kit the last 2 times!! Try out their facial masks, too. They have different ones for every skin type. Come in and go on a little skincare shopping spree, and walk out without feeling guilty or breaking the bank! Special shout to Adriana (I hope I'm spelling it right) for making my shopping experience inside the store today so pleasant. I have always heard of the store coming to Spectrum ever since the signage was up. I was also excited to visit once it opened and I'm excited to share my first experience. : The store is located near the fountain area by Target, 85 Cafe, Q clothing store, and the Merry-Go-Around. : The closest parking spots to this store would be the one by Target, Nordstrom, and in front of Free People/Apple store. : The store is very clean and neatly organized to make it easy to navigate. I personally love nature aesthetics so I really love their vibes. : Although I've heard of the brand many times before from my mom and other asian friends, I've never actually shopped from the brand myself. So I was not familiar with the products. I wondered inside to simply explore and I came out with a big bag of goodies. Special thanks to Adriana for helping me. TL;DR Employee marketed cotton as dark spot serum to my mom, tricked us into spending extra for a "free gift box" that was empty, and didn't inform us of the All Sales Final policy until after payment. Get ready for a wild bait-and-switch ride. A couple of weeks ago, my mom and I visited Nature Republic looking for a dark spot serum and some face masks. One of the store clerks pointed her to a gift basket with a little bottle of dark spot serum, which was exactly what she was looking for. However, when my mom asked the clerk where to find the serum, the clerk said, "Oh, we don't have this anymore." Confused as to why she then pointed it out in the first place, my mom asked, "Can I purchase it with the gift basket then?" The clerk vaguely said, "We don't have it in the gift basket, either." Even more confused, my mom continued to question until a second employee approached, said the serum bottle was fake and just filled with cotton, then proceeded to take the gift basket display to the back. 1) Why were they displaying something they weren't selling in the first place, and 2) why would the first clerk point the serum out to a customer if they didn't have it in stock? Hold on, it gets better. Once we were ready to check out, the first store clerk rang us up and said, "You're $3 away from the free gift box," and pointed to a bunch of holiday boxes lined up in the back. I asked what was in the box, and she said, "Uhh, you need to spend $3 more to get it." I grabbed two more face masks to get us over the $50 she said we needed. "Actually, you need $10 more. Yeah, tax didn't count. Sorry." My mom pointed out she just said $3, why is it suddenly another $10? The clerk ignored her and said, "You need $10 more." My mom threw in a $10 hand cream. The girl rang us up, gave us the box, and -- surprise! -- the box was empty! My mom started arguing with the girl. Why did we just spend $50 to get an empty box? Why did the clerk get us to spend an additional $13+ we weren't planning to spend for cardboard? My mom said she wants to return the additional masks and hand cream. "Oh. Sorry. No refunds." Nature Republic either forgot to train their employees for good customer service, or the girl was purposely negligent. Either way, we're never coming back here again. I'd advise anyone who values their money do the same -- just shop the online store for better deals and better service. read more

I love going to this store. It has a great aloe Vera gel, that to be honest I DONT KNOW how to wear it. Some people wear it as a moisturizer, but I use it to remove my makeup. I love how it remove my mascara. I also use the aha line they have and so far enjoy it on my skin. So so many things to pick from. Their sunblock is nice to wear too. I've also used their chamomile oil and green tea which I wear only under my eyes, just because I have mixed skin. So far nothing has me me break out or made my skin oily. read more

This is my first time I tried their skincare products & so far so good! The reps have great recommendations & friendly. The store is clean & they have their products grouped together with a brief description of what they do. I really liked how when you purchased a certain amount you get free gifts. I got a travel pack that included some of their products that I can sample more of from their hair care line. They also gave out smaller samples of their products like masks & creams. read more

I was at the Irvine Spectrum and was so happy to find a Nature Republic here! No idea they were stateside but I'm happy I walked by. I haven't shopped outside much since the pandemic but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious this store is. The girls there were really friendly and helpful and made me feel comfortable talking my time to shop which is a different experience from the Korea stores where they constantly hover or ask you questions LOL. I saw they were sanitizing the baskets and counter which is nice to see staff taking safety precaution. The products are the same as in Korea, maybe different prices? Very affordable compared to other Korean and Asian skincare IMO for the same quality and ingredients. My favorite is the snail and sheet mask skincare. They also have the gifts when you spend a certain $$! If you've bought skincare in Korea the best part are the samples and gifts they give you so it was nice to see that they do that here too. read more
