Do not use this Walgreens. The pharmacy is terrible, the wait is ridiculous, I just stood and waited for nearly 15 minutes behind 4 people and not one person was helped in that time, I had to give up and leave without getting my Rx. And that's typical, I have never picked anything up there in a reasonable amount of time so am switching pharmacies. They are always terribly understaffed and the people they do have working there aren't at all efficient. It's a disorganized mess and I'm not wasting anymore time in that place! read more

Gerri is one lady who is totally messed up. I do not want to call her racist but let her actions speak for themselves. I was standing in the queue behind one customer and waited for my turn to ask Gerri for the availability of a certain hair product. She finished with the customer which took time and then I moved toward the front. She moved away from the desk. She was snobby and condescending while saying she would be back. She never came back to the photo area. After about 10 minutes, I went to the cashier area to ask for help. This "Gerri" was doing the cash register for a white woman even when there was another register open. There were no waiting customers. I asked her about myself. She said that she has to take care of other people and did not apologize or come to the photo register. Make your own conclusions. The pharmacy here is awful. It always takes forever!!!! You can never expect to just drive up, pick up your prescription and drive away. If there's any cars in front of you, you might as well just drive away and come back when there's no line and even when you're the first car to pull up, still expect at least 15 minutes to wait. I don't know what they're doing in there. Drove up tonight at 5:12, took until 5:18 until someone acknowledged me after ringing the bell 3 times. Finally she gets my prescription and comes to the window shortly after, rings me up and says the pharmacist will be right with you. Worst Pharmacy experience. Went there on Sunday afternoon to drop off prescription and saw someone's car was broken-in in the pharmacy parking lot. The pharmacist asked me to come back next day since she need to check with doctor for medication type. Actually it is very clear on the prescription. To pick up next day, the another pharmacist says need the original prescription, not a print out. I don't know why the pharmacist didn't tell me this when I dropped off. I just brought the prescription to a near by CVS, I got the medication just like a click. The pharmacists in this Walgreen just have not intention to server customers!!! read more

There is never any wait at this walgreens, it doesn't get much business. the rest of the stores in this shopping center are targeted to chinese customers. it seems like they don't carry certain products, maybe because they are so low-volume? The employees here have been pretty helpful to me with only one exception, which seemed to be an instance of apathy. overall, its pretty standard for a walgreens. useful to have nearby. there are 2 longs and a rite aid within a mile or 2 of here, on de anza, and on bollinger, they seem to get more business than this store. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I got my pictures from Vegas and Disneyland developed here onto 2 cds. They charged me $19 for it! The quality was TERRIBLE! Some of the pictures on the cd showed only half of a picture! Every single one was super grainy. One cd didn't even work on my computer, so I tried it on another one and that didn't work either. The other CD only had 17 of my 24 pictures on it. What happened to the rest of them? My pictures are ruined. It was a waste of money. I fully intend to go back there tomorrow and demand a full refund from them! Ridiculous. read more

Unfortunately no 0 star. Dropped off my prescription and was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes. I asked if I could come back later that afternoon to pick it up and was told yes. Returned a few hours later and was told my prescription would not be ready until the following week. Walgreens never tried to contact me about the delay in filling and I needed it filled asap. read more

Why does anybody in SF have an opinion about this place? Look, I can walk to this place or the Rite Aid on Miller. I prefer this place, possibly it's just because it's newer. That preference in no way reflects on the actual pharmacy staff which is proficient in both stores. If I had to make the same choice between this store and the two CVSs nearby in Cupertino, I might go with CVS, I don't know. I've used the photo services, just got two passport photos last week and they had them done in 15 minutes or so. In the past I have had problems with the speed of photo but I just don't try to time my photographic processing needs on that tight a schedule so I don't really worry too much about it. read more

I have to agree with Nisha- the pharmacist Shah is AWFUL! Rude, unprofessional, incompetent. A month ago I called asking if he could check his stock if they had product for a new toothpaste prescription my dentist had given me, so I don't have to drive around to different pharmacies looking for it- response: "NO! You will have to bring the prescription in!". Whoa there buddy, take the volume and the aggression down a notch. He talks to you like "do you have this product in stock" is actually saying "would you like me to punch you in the face". Then a couple of days ago, I asked for a 90 day fill of my medications that they offered me the previous time, to which he responded "NO! I will have to call your prescriber to get authorization!" I had 5 refills on my prescription, that is not necessary. As long as you are not filling a controlled substance or a psychotropic medication, you can get 90 day fills after an initial 30 day fill. Like I said, incompetent. He continued with his loud, aggressive and unprofessional demeanor after I mentioned to him the update in the laws in 2012 where a 90 day fill is fine without prescriber authorization. Transferring my prescriptions to another pharmacy immediately, even though this location is incredibly convenient for me. Reading the other reviews, looks like they make a lot of filling mistakes too. No thanks! UPDATE: transferred my prescription to WELLNESS PHARMACY (408-356-4848), which has rave reviews on Yelp. I can tell why everyone likes them- they are super friendly and really cool people. The pharmacist is intelligent and professional. They even deliver to your door & have a pretty large delivery radius! See ya, Walgreens! read more

do not use this pharmacy. i have never had a good experience when picking up my prescription, they are always always losing my order even though i get multiple calls from the pharmacy that the order is ready. they never followup and the pharmacist is rude in every possible way. the other workers are also not trained well ever. read more

This Walgreens pharmacy is getting worse and worse. The older asian pharmacist never smiles and always seem annoyed and overworked when I saw her. The wait time is long. My doctor faxed over prescription at 6pm. I showed up at 8:30pm assuming it should be ready. The lady searched around, found the fax, said she just saw the prescription and said she can not fill it the same day. I can't blame her wanting to go home at 9pm. The pharmacy management needs to add more staff and train them how to talk to customers. I'm transferring all my, my parents', my kids', my husband's prescriptions to a different pharmacy. read more

My family and I have shopped at Walgreens for many years in Cupertino (even at old loc. on DeAnza Blvd.) The store & pharmacy employees including Management at the now Bollinger address are so very poorly trained. They are extremely ill-informed, disorganized, ill-mannered to customers, not only myself. However, have seen their uncalled for behavior with other shoppers. One never ceases to be amazed going into to this store for a quick perhaps 10 minutes only to be delayed by uninformed, slow, condescending clerks and Management. Ten minutes always ends up to be on average (yes, timed it) 23-35 more wasted minutes due to ill-trained employees and Management. Going to this store, only wish had a GPS as isles are blocked with full pallets just left in middle to cause a shopper much inconvenience, attempting to move them while trying to make a purchase. Going back to Walgreens again tomorrow, for yet another overcharge of $2.00 (have receipt). Expect to be delayed yet again another approx. 20 mins. by incompetence. Won't write further re: pharmacy. Just to say several times incorrect prescriptions for family and overcharged. This is not acceptable! Walgreens at Bollinger needs an overhaul, extensive follow-up training by Corporate for employees and especially Managers or close down this location. read more

Walgreens is always a death trap for me I manage to go in for 1 item or two and because I am apart of their rewards program I start seeing all these deals and ways to gain rewards points. I love it but the one or two items in mind initially turns into those items and a lot of other things and a cha Ching for both Walgreens and for me. Customer service is a hit or miss the regular older staff that work their are always pleasant but they younger staff tend to not have much personality especially the males. Terrible service. I ordered photos to be printed at the store, and they canceled my order without notifying me there was a "technical" problem until I was went to pick up the pictures. A simple phone call or email would have been the basic, decent thing to do and save me a trip there since it was out of the way. They don't care about wasting their customer's time. I'd prefer to go to Target over Walgreens because it's cheaper...but I prefer Walgreens over CVS because their prices are less than CVS. This location is less than a minute away from my house. This is our neighborhood pharmacy (unfortunately) and we use this pharmacy because of our need to use the drive thru. Our family has a few standing prescriptions we have been getting filled there for YEARS. Everytime we attempt to get our refills they don't have the medication available. Instead of placing an expedited order to receive the medication or pre-order the medication because they know we get it like clockwork, they just give a blank look, literally. Leaving the burden on us to walk the staff through the process of assisting them with their job. Time consuming and annoying. We also ask to be called once the medication is in - due to the special ordering. They never call. It usually takes several follow ups calls on our part to get the whole transaction accomplished. They are horrible and quite shamelss with their poor customer service. read more

Last Saturday I went in to help a friend, who does not speak English, with here refill. The male staff was slow, rude and clueless. His first question is : " What medication do you want to refill?". I said, "Everyone that she is entitled to refill". Thereafter, he treated us like garbage, as if we are some free loading immigrants trying to take advantage of his great country. He insisted that we have to get Part D medicare or else her insurance will not cover. In the end it turned out that he had no access to her insurance record so he does not know if she does not have part D. We are no beggars. We are paying customers and we do not appreciate being treated this way. read more

While I was sitting in my doctor's office, doctor faxed in a prescription to Walgreens. Several hours later I went to pick it up and was told it was called into CVS and CVS had processed it. Went to CVS and they looked at me like I was an idiot. Fortunately, CVS went ahead and took care of the prescription. I then called my drug plan and yes, the prescription had been called into Walgreens. When I contacted Walgreens again to complain, I was told that it was the doctor's office fault. Went in to get my flu shot today. Took almost an hour even though there was only one customer ahead of me picking up a prescription. First they told me that my insurance was rejected by their system. I was the one that had to tell them to call the 1-800 number on the back of my insurance card. The calling and approval process plus the preparation time and waiting for the actual shot took nearly an hour. Will never go back to this pharmacy again. Friendly people, but unfortunately WAY TOO SLOW. read more

I have seen several reviews regarding the bad customer service at this Walgreens location. I must agree with them whole heartedly. I think the pharmacy manager, a man by the name of Keyur Shah, himself is under trained in customer service. Once I was asked to wait for 15 minutes to fill my order. But in reality it took them 45 minutes. When I enquired about it, this man actually came back and yelled at him. He took a very aggressive stance. It was clear that he was overworked. But rather than deal with it, he went totally postal. I have since vowed to never go back to this Walgreens. Well...not unless they fire or transfer the pharmacy manager to another location. He is probably the reason the employees appear stressed out. read more

I still wish yelp would let you rate minus stars, because i would put a -5, my wife went down to pick up my prescription for me and had i Very frustrating time pinking it up, she came home and related the whole story to me, I then proceeded to call the pharmacist and asked why this took place over a simple thing as just picking this up, i told her on Monday i had 2 cervical discs removed and had 3 vertebrae fused, and i didn't need her coming home upset and then upsetting me , she was basically ,, Whatever, then she said that she didn't feel my wife was upset, i told her a couple times that my wife is very non confrontational, again the response basically,, Whatever, they told my wife i could take 4 pills of the old prescription instead of 2 of the new one, i said this is what my Dr. prescribed, and that i would prefer to take less pills for my liver and kidneys, and you can probably guess what the response was, again a Whatever, ..after i bunch of Whatever to blow me off, i got an Extremely Lame apology, i said Ive been using them for years, i told her never again, there's alot more places i can go, and yet again Whatever I'm just very disappointed with their service and her attitude I will NEVER use them again use at your own risk, you've all been forewarned read more

Most of the store items are overpriced, except for sale items. Service is on the slow side. I never see too many customers. Usually there is only one cashier or you have to wait for a cashier to come back to the front. read more
