It's nice to finally have a healthy choice in Castaic!!! I had the chicken and steak plate and it was delicious! My dad had the Rib plate and he too really enjoyed his meal. Chicken is lean and never frozen.. You can modify your veggies to your liking... My kind of place. Healthy Eats on the run! I'd like to add that the staff was really friendly and the place was spic and span! We will be back. :) read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! I ordered a salmon salad & the salmon was not even 4oz. I went back in to ask why is it so small, manager said they didn't have any more salmon. Like really? We waited over 40 mins for 3 items because apparently our orders were mixed up with another customer. They screw up orders all the time. I thought I'd give them another chance as I love WaBa Grill. Never coming back to this location EVER!!! They will rip you off! read more

Love this place! Location is easy on easy off the freeway. After a road trip from SoCal and returning home this place always hits the spot. Healthy and fresh, I always get a boost. Wish they had one in Bakersfield! Similar to flame broiler, maybe just a step up. I like that the offer the salmon bowl and kale salads. Lots to choose from and you can't go wrong. read more

Manager was very pleasant and the food was great will definitely have to stop by again when I'm back in town.

The worst customer service after a 65$ order that was completely messed up and missing items they're response was nothing we can do about it ! Really Well Diane the manager of this establishment reconsider who your are leaving in charge because Edoardo is completely unreasonable and use profanity when I called and completely disrespected me .Never again and no one else should go to this establishment and being in the restaurant business for 30 years I am completely shocked I've never left a Review-before so angry I am I could not help myself. read more

I usually don't go to fast-food that often but this is definitely an exception, and it's one that deserves a review. I love going here anytime I'm traveling and I'm going through the grape vine. The workers here give one of the best services I have ever seen. All are super friendly and they keep the store clean. The food is extremely good for the price it is served at and I've liked everything I've gotten with my favorites being the waba and the salmon bowl. Honestly, I'd like to commend the management of this store. This is a must try location and store, I highly recommend giving it a try! read more

Hit or miss here. I don't remember the good meals but I do remember the salmon that tasted spoiled and trying to place a drive thru order last night at 8:25 pm. Vegie bowl please, no I don't want avocado, diet coke. Then the young lady said the cook says they're out of vegies. ??? Said they were getting ready to close. Closing time wasn't for another 35 minutes...I drove away... read more

Stopped by WaBa Grill after seeing the positive Yelp reviews and boy did it not disappoint! Extremely clean restaurant and bathroom. Staff was very friendly and served our food in a timely manner. The salmon specialty plate is delicious and I would highly recommend it! read more

Had to wait a little while for the brown rice but the wait is worth it. The manager talked with us asked us if we were from the area, he apologized for the wait but we told him we didn't mind. We know people complain about the portions you get but in our opinion the portions are great especially for the price. It is not made to be a drive through because their food does not come frozen like other places. They are getting established. Have some patients and it is well worth it! Get some extra waba sauce it's delicious! read more

5 stars for this place and the way it's managed and handled. I myself am a business owner of a very successful company and I know great customer satisfaction and striving above and beyond to meet needs when I see it; the manager Nune was so accommodating when I dropped by for a late dinner, and she was very personal with me, and truly made sure I felt comfortable and taken care of. The cashier Greg was such a bright and sweet boy, and he began and ended my night with a smile. Everything about this place was exquisite, inclusive of the exceptional service, the great quality of the food and the speed at which it was delivered to my table. I'm so pleased I discovered this gem location and I will absolutely be back for many more dinners here! Thanks so much WaBa grill Castaic for another great experience!!!! read more

Stopped by this location for the first time and was not disappointed! I ordered the tofu veggie bowl. The bowl has tofu, half rice, and half veggies (cabbage, carrots, and broccoli). You can get it with white rice or brown rice. You also have the option of adding half an avocado and teriyaki sauce. The location is very clean and the employees are super nice! read more

First visit to a WaBa Grill ever. Outstanding food quality, friendly staff and immaculate dining area. I had the WaBa (chicken + steak) rice bowl with steamed veggies, onions, and avocado. The portion sizes were just right with generous amounts of white meat chicken and marinated steak. Would definitely stop here again. We both plan to visit the Arizona locations where we live. read more

Sonny is friendly and helpful. He introduced us to excellent food. The choices were excellent. The restaurant was clean

I love coming to this place. I cook a lot of healthy food at home and it is very hard to find places that cook healthy away from home, this is one The healthiest places anywhere. So whenever I am working out here during the school year because I work in the schools, I come here for lunch regularly and I mean regularly. May I recommend the number 15: the Rice Veggie Bowl, which consists of brown rice, roasted chicken and heated vegetables, I like this because there are some other franchises of this restaurant that do not heat the vegetables! Sunny, the manager, is very concerned with the quality; he always comes over to say hello; he will come up and talk to you if you're sitting by yourself; he's very personalable and makes the environment happen. I always like personality in a place, the human place because I'm going to go do something wonderful human, eat and I like a nice experience every time. This is a real place! read more

Ate at WaBa for the first time and I was very impressed with how Delicious and Healthy the food was. Had the WaBa combo with chicken and beef served over rice and a small side salad and half of an orange. Spoke with the owner Lebon who was very pleasant and was pleased to hear how much I enjoyed the food. They have a wide selection on the menu including Salmon, Shrimp and various salads. I would highly recommend WaBa for lunch or dinner, dine-in or take out. They also have a drive-thru for added convenience. Jack G. Valencia,CA read more

Awesome Place! Can't wait until they open the Canyon Country location. Great customer service. I did notice the wait is a little long but it is because the food is made fresh. . And it taste delicious. Plus if I dont want to wait I can always call my order in in advance. First time here and it was good. Ordered the combo plate with brown rice. Chicken was great, not a fan of the beef though, it's paper thin and shredded. Basically teriyaki bowls you would make at home minus the cleanup. Customer service was great, both servers were very helpful and super nice. You won't feel guilty going through the drive-thru. Definitely would come again. read more

I went here with my older brother on a drive back home. The teriyaki chicken was pretty good, but rice was only okay. I mean it is rice, but I found it only okay. I gave it 3 stars because I ordered avocado and paid extra for it, but I never received the avocado. I was pretty disappointed I could not eat my teriyaki chicken with avocado. I felt like I could have given them 4 stars, and maybe even 5, if I did. I will have to consider whether I would avo-go here again. read more

Wow... just wow! I had the salmon veggie bowl (get it every time) and DAMN! For the price it CANNOT be beat! The juicy salmon is beyond amazing with some of the best steamed veggies. Stopped by Waba to buy lunch for my beautiful wife who works on a ranch off the beaten path nearly 20 miles away. I had never bought her lunch from Waba so here goes. Ordered the steak, rice and veggie bowl plus shrimp, avocado, extra teriyaki, jalapenos/carrots and the largest drinks they have. Showed up at her work, she looked at the food and was surprised BUT, she was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The shrimp skewers were not over-cooked! Many places tend to over cook shrimp but not these. A little lemon, some teriyaki and BAM!!! Oh yeah, just like the kool-aid pitcher. Rest of the food was fresh, tasty and the Iced Tea was spot on. Also, place was immaculate. To end this review, I'm certain the guy who took my order was the manager. He was attentive to quality and courteous to the other employees. To anyone reading this review, there are quite a few places here on the Castaic Strip between Parker and Lake Hughes. Most of the fast food places aren't desirable but this place has real good-eating chow. Keep up the good work Waba peeps! read more

TLDR; Customer Service: Fantastic Food: Top-notch, cooked-to-order, fresh Facility: Clean, spacious, comfortable This Waba grill was one of the best I've been to (and I've been to quite a few). From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, I had a good experience. The cashier welcomed me as soon as I walked in and was enthusiastic to help me. I ordered a bowl and he asked if I wanted veggies with it. I said no because most of the veggies I get from WaBa grill are hard and aren't very...veggie-like. He told me that they cook theirs fresh and that I probably had a bad experience from the past. I took a chance and said why not. When the food came, it was perfect. He told me that most of the WaBa Grills' get their veggies frozen and then just boil them to reheat them while they get theirs fresh and steam cook them when the customers order it. The bowl was satisfying and delicious. The facility was also very clean and spacious. If you are looking for a WaBa Grill to go to, I would highly recommend this one. read more

Never disappoints! I've never had any issues with this place. The food never disappoints and the customer service is awesome! Not sure if he's the owner or manager but he's always there and he's super nice. He noticed my avocado didn't "look attractive" and gave me an extra one. That's going above and beyond. Really appreciate that! read more
