The food used to be great and today I had a burrito of beef and threw up everything and had diarrhoea. Last time I come here .

Since I started going to this truck they have expanded their offerings. They have plenty of delicious options to meet all of your Mexican food needs. My go to is always the tacos. They're inexpensive, yummy, and filled with meat. If you won't like spicy be sure to ask for no salsa or salsa on the side. Their tacos come with a tostada topped with refried beans. My son particularly likes those and will just eat that. They also give you cucumber and limes with your tacos. When I get tacos, the food always comes out quickly. It takes a little longer if you get something like loaded fries, but it's still reasonable. Parking is on the street in front or in back of the truck. You could also park at the gas station and walk over. read more

I cannot say enough about how much we love this place! They have come through for us on a few occasions where we had to feed a lot of people! Recently, we had a party of 40+ people and they supplied all the food and it did not disappoint! Communication with this company went well and they are very nice and we will most definitely continue to recommend them and use them for any of our future events. Everyone loved their tacos, rice, and beans! It's the simplest meal but the taste was EVERYTHING. We have people from out of state that request this truck once they land into town! LOL. My first impression walking up to the truck was that it was super clean. The person taking our order was friendly and patient with us especially since we weren't sure exactly what we wanted. The food tasted so good they put the salad under the fish which complimented it. It was definitely well seasoned in my opinion maybe a little too much but I didn't mind it. Have made a regular stop here for several years driving from San Francisco to San Diego. Tacos Jimenez has 2 trucks, one on each side of the road paralleling I-5. This time we tried the truck on the east side of the road in front of the truck stop. Three of us got burritos (2 carne asada and one pork.) They tasted ok, not great, because the meat wasn't crisp, but more like steamed. Unfortunately, all three of us came down with food poisoning the next day. All had diarrhea for several days and felt very queasy. I had violent chills the first night. Clearly not a good experience, but I thought it was important to post my experience. read more

Beautiful park, playground and sidewalk that surrounds the gorgeous park you can walk your dogs or also push your babies or just go for a walk alone or with the family. We've been here about 10 times now and although it's pretty good, I wouldn't say it's outta this world. A big issue we have is that they are super stingy with their salsas. Stopped by on the way to SoCal, and it was worth the extra 15 minute detour! It wasn't too much of a detour though, since this food truck is right off the 5 freeway, across from a truck stop. We were recommended this taco truck by locals claiming that this is "the best taco truck by far" so we had to give it a try. We ordered 5 tacos between 2 people: 2 buche, 1 lengua, 1asada, and 1 Al pastor. The lengua was my favorite. The asada was my second favorite - it wasn't too dry unlike a lot of other taco trucks! The sauce they put on was pretty spicy (but I have a low tolerance level of spice). I enjoyed the refried beans on a chip that they added to our order - it was a nice change of flavor that complemented the tacos! I would've asked for one more if I were to go again, although I'm not sure if they charge extra. Highly recommend if you feel like making a pit stop off the 5 freeway! I made a trip to LAX and back recently and on the way to LAX I stopped and ate here alone. At about 1:00 pm I got three lengua tacos and one buche taco. The meats were plentiful and tasty, it was almost too much food. Myself and the bird ate at one of the little tables beside the truck. Coming back I had my wife and it was her idea that we stop at our favorite taco truck in Castaic. At about 8:45 pm we pulled up and ordered tacos again. She had the lengua tacos and this time I went with birriaquaso. The food was hot and fresh and we really enjoyed it. They had some small very hot peppers this time but the plates came with two. I was severely disappointed with the food. I was charged $15 for a carne asada fries that was only filled 1/4 of the whole plate. WHO CHARGES $15 for a meal that is made like an appetizer! Today after stopping for some tacos for lunch in Frazier Park I realized I had not ever given them a yelp review and they deserve the support! 1st, YUM, 2nd, authentic! and 3rd, reasonably priced! My go to's are carnitas and carne asada tacos and the carne asada torta! Everything perfect and the same recipe I can count on!
