Wow what a gem in the area! The experience I had coming here with my brother was amazing! Somehow before we got to eating, we were both super excited for the food to come! The interior and ambiance was small but cozy, well-ventilated and with nice calm Spanish music. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and we ordered the birria tacos duo combo and I got the burrito loco wet style with half-green sauce and half-red sauce. The burrito plate astounded me the most, it was huge and the carne asada was tender and delicious. Paired with the salsas, each bite was so good and tempting to want more. I could only get to eating half but it was so good and I wanted to keep eating more. Would love to come back here again because the menu iis vast and looks really good. *Outdoor seating also available *Bathrooms *Good salsas *Friendly staff

Found one of the most authentic Mexican food places in Valencia! Delicious food, great environment and amazing service! Definitely coming back.

Hair found in the carne asada nachos. Should have never tipped for take out.

Found a hair halfway into my food. Threw the rest out. Should have never tipped on a take out order.

Boasted the best birria tacos around oh they aren't kidding. Fricking delicious, my friend had never had one and the mmm and oh she was making told the story of deliciousness. Two of us a two taco plate (up for a chili rejeno taco) and two drinks about $42. Highly recommended. Small little place with outdoor seating. Yesenia our cashier/ server was sweet and terrific. Do counter for breakfast lunch or dinner if you live close or are passing through.

This had to be one of the most incredible restaurants I have ever been too! From walking in the door the atmosphere and ambience was amazing! Great service and everyone there was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend anyone to go check them out! I travelled from Vegas and found them in the area and I will definitely be traveling back to try more of their food. I had the Birria Tacos Duos Combo and they had to be the BEST birria tacos I have ever tasted!! Their horchata was amazing too! If you're in the area definitely go check them out and give it a taste!

Amazing! Any dish from the menu will satisfy your appetite. Today I tried Pollo À la Diabla and it was delicious.

We've dined in before but that was a long time ago & I couldn't recall the experience. Anyhow, husband made some bomb sticky rice the day before and since we had no ideas for what to make tonight, this sounded like a great solution! I highly recommend this deal! I ordered the 1lb head on shrimp. Daddy sauce. Mild. It was perfectly cooked and very tasty. At first I thought it was too spicy, after a few, I realized it was the perfect amount of spice. The portion was plentiful. Husband had the fish po' boy with garlic fries and said it was great. Total was $31 including tax.

That table opened the dish and ate some of the rice. Instead of immediately discarding the entire plate and remaking the meal, the server brought the same dish back to me after realizing the mistake. I was told "they didn't touch it," which was completely untrue. Once food has been served to another table and opened, it should NEVER be given to another guest -- especially seafood. This is basic food safety. The fact that this was even debated is alarming. There was no compensation, no manager intervention, and no real accountability -- just a casual apology. Only the rice was replaced, which does not resolve the fact that the rest of the dish had already been handled and served elsewhere. This was not a minor mistake; it was a serious hygiene and professionalism failure. I should not have to question whether my food is safe to eat. Serving food that has already been eaten by another table isn't just careless -- it's unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

I stopped in to grab takeout for my husband and me and was told the order wouldn't take long. The server was helpful and answered all my questions, so I felt good about the order: clam chowder, half-order lemon pepper wings, a catfish dinner with an extra side of shrimp, and grilled salmon with two sauces on the side (and cooked medium). After waiting 45 minutes--which already felt excessive for this order--I decided to check the food. I'm glad I did. The salmon was overcooked (well done instead of medium) with the sauce already poured on top. The lemon pepper wings had barely any seasoning, like it was added after they were already dry. And they completely forgot the shrimp. The server took everything back to fix it, but that took another 30 minutes. By then, my husband's catfish (and for $19, you only get one filet) and his cheddar side were cold, and the Caesar salad was wilted and warm. When the salmon finally came back--after another 20 minutes--it was still overcooked, now rock hard, and completely unseasoned. It felt like they were relying on sauce to do all the work, but even that missed the mark. The shrimp also tasted like pre-packaged frozen, not fresh. Nearly $90 later, we didn't enjoy any part of the meal. I'd suggest sticking to the boil if you come here, because based on this experience, everything else fell short.

The street front seating and building architecture is very appealing and welcoming. As you enter the main doors, you are greeting by friendly staff. We were offered any open seating, we decided to take a table against the back wall that was adjacent to the entry. The decor inside is very rustic with a touch of micro brewery, the ceiling has many tap handles that adorn the ceiling. The menu and food, we were initially drawn into the Refinery since they seem to be the only spot that offered Brunch and Mimosas in the downtown street. Key point of clarification, the Mimosas are simi bottomless (you have 90 min) to pour down, some of us really like Mimosas, plus the price was just slightly higher that we typically expect at 27, per person. Were they good, yes, so we decided to go with one Mimosa and an Old Fashion drink, it was very well done, Buffalo Trace Bourbon. We ordered from the Brunch menu, the Steak and Eggs, cooked to your liking, they did a great job on both, the one item that we were less impressed with were the overcooked Oreda looking potatoes that accompanied the meals. We also ordered the Cacio e Pepe Beni, Prosciutto, perfect poached eggs and all of the other fixings, it was great testing and the presentation was amazing. As far as my overall rating I could not give it a 5 star due to what other customers have shared in their reviews, the wait staff is not timely, almost forced friendly and possibly just lacking some restaurant experience, they did not come around or notice things like empty water glasses and a few other things, could have been understaffed possibly on this day. Overall I would still recommend the Refinery due to the location, atmosphere, drinks and main dish prep. Thank you for providing a break from reality during a very trying time in our family.

If the Business Manager / corporate / "powers that be" are reading this, please know that these indiciduals are your secret weapon - the people / the staff / the human beings that are the face of your business. Sure customers will come-in & patronize your establishment for your delicious food. The specials & the "Endless Shrimp" promotion are always appreciated, but the wonderful people that actually work the front lines here are the reason why I will most definitely come back to your establishment. Briana, Shelby, & Perri should most definitely be recognized & rewarded for making their customers' experiences so incredibly pleasant. I can't stress enough that they're a huge determinant of why I believe this locations has many repeat customers / regulars, myself included. FOOD Cheddar Bay Biscuits - 8.5 / 10 Warm, tender, flaky. With the unmistakable bits of real cheddar cheese. I appreciate that the staff is always happy to bring another serving out upon request. Don't ever change this policy. Bigger sizes would be appreciated though. [Endless Shrimp] "Marry Me" Shrimp - 8.8 / 10 A much, much, better improvement since my last visit a few weeks ago. This had a less greasy crumb topping (which I enjoyed) & more emphasis on the cream + tomato flavor in the sauce. I very much loved the superb temperature that these were served at, pretty close to piping hot. Bravo. Shrimp Scampi - 8.9 / 10 I love that these came with a generous portion of that signature scampi sauce. To me, this is the shrimp lover's dish that showcases the crustacean arguable at its best. Traditional, pure, simple. You can't go wrong with that. I also like that they're never over-cooked. The hot temperature could not be any more perfect. Kudos to the cooks in the back. They nailed it. Shrimp Linguini Alfredo - 9.1 / 10 The sauce was so incredibly creamy & thicker - which is exactly how I want it. I was quite impressed with the generous amount of shrimp that are included. The portion alone is nothing short of plentiful. Walt's Favorite Shrimp. - 9.2 / 10 These came out perfectly & not greasy at all. That breading was so lovely with that well-coated exterior. I know why these are a fan (& Walt's) favorite. I like that these always come with a side of that signature cocktail sauce. Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp - 9.7 / 10 Still my favorite of the offerings. The size alone of each individual shrimp is nothing to trifle with. The crunchy coconut breading is insanely delicious. Part of me wishes I could just order these by dozen. Seriously, one of the best preparations of shrimp literally anywhere. The "Piña Colada Dipping Sauce" that is served alongside the Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp is simply divine. I can't stress enough how much I think it would be a brilliant idea that Red Lobster should sell this sauce by the bottle. Key Lime Pie - 9.0 / 10 I've become something of a key lime pie aficionado in the past few months. Their's hit the sweet spot (no pun intended). To me, good key lime is sweet upon the first bite. Then the citrussy sour punch comes with the aftertaste. I particularly liked how well the custardy filling set, but this could be possibly be due to taking it home & allowing it to set for a few hours in my refrigerator. The graham cracker crust was tender & not dry at all. I'm not at all surprised that Briana's section was full to capacity during Friday at lunch time. Red Lobster is thriving & although one could argue that its indisputable menu & brilliant specials could be the reasons why, you cannot dispute that this location's incomparable staff are easily the biggest reason why it has the success that it has. 10 / 10 for the employees.
