What a lovely place! Located in a shopping center right off Newhall ranch road. The food is very authentic. They're refried beans are very tasty. But what captured me the most was the fact that the chips that were brought to the table were homemade fresh and hot. This is definitely a telltale sign that you're gonna get good food. The quesadilla with Carne Asada was so flavorful and tender. It doesn't take much to make this quesadilla delicious; meat and cheese. It's all that it needed. I love that they have a choice of green or red enchiladas. I chose the green and what a delicious sauce. Saving the best for last was a lovely woman who was so kind and so pleasant and just downright sweet. Sabina(?) really just made our visit extra special. Although, this is a order at the counter and seat yourself, she's still made it feel very much like table service. She brought us fresh chips and salsa was very attentive and insured. we had everything we needed, even though she was the only one serving the dining room that day. She really is a hard worker and just so very pleasant. I was so taken by the artwork on the walls. I completely forgot to take pictures of my food, but everything was delicious, including the freshly made dessert that we were served compliments of the house. The interior and ambiance was small but cozy, well-ventilated and with nice calm Spanish music. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and we ordered the birria tacos duo combo and I got the burrito loco wet style with half-green sauce and half-red sauce. I paid $38 for two breakfast burritos and walked away genuinely baffled. Each burrito was a blob of beans, a bit of egg, and maybe two small pieces of sausage. The portions of beans to other ingredients were sad, the taste was just beans, and nothing about what landed on that plate came close to justifying the price. When I brought up my concerns, both the server and the cook gave me the same shrug: "We just work here. We don't know anything about the restaurant, and we don't care if you come back. Not my problem." She also had issues with salsa Then came the kicker: they told me to save my food, hold onto it for 8 hours, and come back at 4 PM -- when the owner would supposedly be in -- to see if I might be able to get a refund. On cold, hours-old food I'd already paid for. Let's be clear about what that ask actually is: they wanted me to rearrange my day, babysit a burrito I couldn't eat, and then return to plead my case to an owner who may or may not care -- with no guarantee of any resolution. That's not a customer service policy. That's a brush-off dressed up as a process. The food was disappointing. The staff attitude was worse. But asking a customer to carry around cold, inedible food for eight hours just to have a shot at a refund? That's the part that turned a bad breakfast into a review worth writing. Skip this one entirely. At $19 a burrito, you deserve both a decent meal and the basic dignity of having a complaint handled on the spot. read more

I loved this place after discovering how good their food was about a year ago. Recently had a not so pleasant experience. We ordered $100 worth of food for take out. Asada nachos, 4 asada tacos, 4 carnitas tacos, chicken enchilada plate, and asada burrito loco. I understand that prices are the way the are due to inflation. But the burrito was $18.99 + $4.99 for the asada and there was literally no meat. That was disappointing part. Food was great and there was a good amount of meat on everything else. But the fact that asada was a $4.99 extra charge on the burrito, to not have any meat in it was not good. I hope they don't do that to anyone else. read more

Fresh salsa and chips are served for those dining in. They have a rotation of salsas that they offer table-side including habanero, avocado, mild roasted and others. The Margaritas are some of the best we have ever had. We had the cucumber, jalapeño margaritas and it was great.
