Red lobster is one of our favorites places to eat, went for lunch , new menu , some specials and the rolls never disappoint! I had the shrimp trio , honestly thought it was going to be small portions, like an appetizer, but no it wasn't, served on a huge dinner plate and delicious! Kimberly our server was the BEST, she was so attentive and kind, smiling always , definitely understands and applies Great work ethic!! Not that many Red Lobsters around so if you get a chance, check them out !! I love their decor and theme too so cool

This is our favorite spot, the ambience is always nice. Service is excellent and food is always prepared to perfection and always fresh. Our server, Shay, made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She was sweet, patient (yes, I do tend to change the entrees to my liking see the photo) Well, what can I say, I know what I like and want she was very professional and hospitable, 10/10 service from our dear Shay. Will mention, their manager Peter, who was attentive, courteous and made us laugh, which put us in even better mood. Love seeing people like that. Great food and great people are the great reason to always come back to our favorite spot. Worth mentioning. Their clam chowder is just so flavorful, I love when I don't have to fish for clams and my spoon is full of it with every time I try. Great great experience every time, highly recommend this location

$5 happy hour drinks? Sign me up. I haven't been to any Red Lobsters since the major location closures but I was driving back from a trip and decided to stop in the Valencia location near Magic Mountain. Place was packed on a weeknight. Happy hour is 3-6p weeknights (my $5 Mark West Pinot wine was so needed that night while consuming my cheddar biscuits). I ordered a Lobster Shrimp/Salmon plate ($47.99) was so tasty on a huge plate that anyone would need a doggie bag. Lobster tail was so delish which was my favorite. I did like the shrimp and salmon as well. Sides I opted for potato and broccoli. Everything was buttered and seasoned well. My server Roxy was attentive and amazing. Parking lot was huge and plenty of room. It was a lovely time overall. Thank you Red Lobster for bringing me back to old memories that I miss so much. I will stop by again when driving on my trips.

I don't get to visit Red Lobster often since there aren't many locations in Los Angeles County, but I happened to be near the Valencia location during happy hour and decided to pop in. I started with a $5, 20-ounce Blue Moon. It was crisp, ice cold, and served in a chilled mug nothing beats that on a 90°+ day. For an appetizer, I asked my server Edwin, who was great, by the way for a recommendation. He mentioned the seafood dip with flatbread or the seafood stuffed mushrooms. I went with the mushrooms. They were served piping hot with melted cheese and a buttery sauce, but the imitation seafood stuffing wasn't my favorite. I'd give them 3/10 for flavor. For my main, I ordered the Mariner's Boil $50.99 and added Cajun sausage (loved the sausage since they were well done) $6.49 plus an Old Bay butter ($3.49) on the side. The boil came with lobster, crab, shrimp, 1/2 dozen red potatoes, and two corn cobs. Edwin suggested mixing the roasted garlic butter with the Cajun butter so good! The crab was sweet and easy to eat, and the shrimp was good. The lobster was decent but a touch undercooked for my taste. There were a lot of red potatoes, but they were undercooked and the corn was clearly frozen and a bit mushy but the butter helped. The atmosphere feels like the early '90s classic Red Lobster nostalgia from back when we'd go for birthdays or graduations. While a little dated, it's part of the charm. And they didn't offer me biscuits not too sure if you're supposed to ask for them either way I didn't get them :( Overall: * Appetizer: 3/10 * Mariner's Boil: 6/10 * Service: 10/10, thank you, Edwin! Total with tax was $86.11 before tip. Would I return? Possibly, but I'd make a few tweaks to my order.

I couldn't even tell you when our last Red Lobster experience was. The last time we were craving, we were sadly met with a closed location. Fate brought us to the Valencia location, obvi! Sitting a traffic, a glance to our right, then immediately drawn into the big Lobsterfest signage at the roofline. See fate! The decor was exactly how I remembered it to be. Could use an update but then again, it's what you expect to see. Decent size lobster tank right in the restaurant lobby as you walk in. Several split off dining rooms and seating areas. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. We order the cheddar biscuits right away, a must! Came out hot and fluffy just like we remember them. Oh the nostalgia! We also ordered: -Fried Calamari -Lobsterfest meal: Lobster & Shrimp Linguini. Garlic Butter Lobster Tail, Caribbean Rock Tail, Bacon Mac & Cheese, Crispy Brussels Sprouts Fave dishes were the biscuits, duh. Also both lobster tails, and the Crispy Brussels Sprouts. I am a sucker for brussels, will always order them if I see them on the menu. Glad we shared meals instead of ordering full plates for ourselves. The 3 item Lobsterfest meal with the 2 sides was plenty for the two of us.

Red Lobster is one of our favorite places to eat, so we stopped by for lunch to check out the new menu and daily specials and of course, the rolls never disappoint! I ordered the shrimp trio and honestly expected smaller, appetizer-sized portions, but I was pleasantly surprised. It came out on a huge dinner plate and everything was absolutely delicious. Our server, Erwin, was outstanding super attentive, friendly, and always smiling. You can really tell he takes pride in his work. Huge shoutout as well to Pete, the manager, for running such a great operation and making sure everything flowed smoothly. There aren't many Red Lobster locations around anymore, so if you get the chance, definitely check them out. I also love their décor and theme such a cool vibe!

Lobsterfest Boil with Old Bay and Butter seasoning

We were supposed to go somewhere for lunch but as we passed by Red Lobster on the 5 freeway, he started talking about it and I mentioned that I have never been to a Red Lobster. We made the immediate decision to exit to head out here. I read the reviews and saw that "smell" was an issue so I expected to smell something. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted right away and didnt have to wait to be seated since they just opened. I can immediately smell the old musky smell but it wasnt that bad. It was expected since they have a tank with lobsters by the front desk. Not long after we got seated, our server took our drink order then brought us a basket of complimentary biscuits. It was warm and good. It wasnt anything like Popeye's biscuit. We ordered the "Lobsterfest Boil" which came with 4 decent sized Maine Lobster tails, a dozen shrimp, some 2 corn on a cob and several red potatoes. For the seasoning, we got the Old Bay and Butter and opt for medium spicy. I cant tolerate super spicy and this one has a kick to it. The flavor of the seasoning was good. Our only complaint was that the shrimp could have been a little bigger. The shrimp that came with our order was really small. Service was great. Our server checked on us a few times and refilled his drink twice. The price is decent being that its seafood. We both had to use the restroom to clean our hands and face to get rid of the shrimp/seafood smell. Yes, there is a weird smell inside the bathroom which I suspect is from their sewage or pipes. Overall, my first time at a Red Lobster was great.

    Crab Your Way

I haven't been to Red Lobster in almost ten years but last Friday I decided to see what the new menu was hittin on. I ordered the Crab Your Way and it did not disappoint. I order the bairdi crab with cajun butter and a side salad. The crab was so fresh and full of meat. I felt like a pig eating a pound of crab at the bar. Lol! The bartender, Kevin, was so nice and sweet. He recommended that I come back for happy hour next time because the drinks are 5 bucks. Needless to say, I went back this past Friday with a friend this time. We sat at the bar with Kevin and ordered the new Mariner's Seafood Boil. Again, the crab was fresh. The lobster was delish and those potatoes were bomb. Lol!! Big ups to the nee CEO. He did his thing with reviving Red Lobster.

My party and I decided to stop by Red Lobster after a full day at Six Flags Magic Mountain, and it really hit the spot. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server. Biscuits came out hot and fresh - cracking a little black pepper between them takes to the next level. Service was quick and efficient, both for the apps and mains. I decided to split an entree with a friend, and the portion was very generous. Food really hit the spot!

Lobster & shrimp linguini, cheddar biscuits, and crab carbonara.

This was my first time dining at a Red Lobster and I have to say that the food and experience are quite underrated. I think most people tend to dine at a Chili's, Yard House, or Applebee's but Red Lobster has the potential to be as popular as its competitors. I personally think Red Lobster is the underdog because of its expertise on seafood, which can be tricky among different customers. Anyway, my husband and I had lunch at this location last Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it wasn't busy at all. We were seated very quickly and our server's name was Anya, I believe. She was kind and accommodating to our needs and requests. The food was also delicious and filling; the cheddar biscuits were fluffy and savory, and the crab carbonara I ordered exploded with flavor. My husband had the lobster & shrimp linguini, which was also delectable. We probably won't be back soon since we are actually not from the Santa Clarita area, but if we ever are, we may dine in again!

You're drawn in by the familiar, comfortable design featuring mirrored signs with writing in Victorian style fonts that continue onto the menus. They have marble tables and counters, with comfortable chairs, and lots of light coming in through the windows. The staff is all smiles and very welcoming, happy to help you navigate the very interesting bill of fare, and making sure your cocktail is made exactly as you like. I was dining solo, so I sat at the bar, and James took excellent care of me from start to finish. I asked for a Bombay Sapphire Martini with Olives; James immediately offered regular or blue cheese-stuffed olives, and asked if I preferred the martini shaken or stirred. The drink that emerged was well-balanced, cold and very tasty. The menu is filled with all sorts of interesting choices. Some are familiar items like salads and fishes and hamburgers or cheesesteak sandwiches done in their way -- but my eye immediately went to a very unique starter: Duck Fat Potato Confit. Say what? As James explained, it is a whole potato that has been slow cooked in duck fat (confit, as we know) and served as the main attraction in the dish as one might similarly feature a duck leg or short rib. I had to order this, and it turned out to be one of the most rewarding dishes I've eaten in a long time. The aforementioned, slow-cooked potato initially appears a bit like a whole boiled potato, but looks are deceiving. Because of the cooking method, the potato holds it's consistency and shape much more than a boiled or baked potato, cutting almost like a protein. It's solid but tender, and as it has absorbed quite a bit of flavor during the cooking, this potato is far tastier on its own than those other iterations. But you are NOT eating this potato unadorned. Oh no, this potato is dressed with caramelized onions, smoky bacon lardons, wild mushrooms and a rich, very flavorful demi-glace. All together, you've layers upon layers of flavor that make you ignore all distractions and really concentrate on the pleasure you're getting from your food. But that's not all... Perhaps the cleverest element of a dish composed entirely of clever elements is the Mornay Sauce. Snow white, and with enough of just the right cheese to add texture to the Bechemel without becoming too powerful, the sauce is plated on the bottom, with the potato resting atop it. Visually, this looks like mashed potatoes served underneath a protein, and it plays the same role texturally -- but because you wouldn't serve potatoes with a potato, the sauce is a lighter accompaniment, whose flavor marries perfectly with the more complex sauce coming from above, and you cannot help but marvel at this stroke of culinary magic. Just wow. I finished with a dessert of Key Lime Budino, which was rich and creamy with a serious hit of sour from the Key Lime. A nice and refreshing shift after the savory richness of my entree. How lucky are the people of Newhall and Santa Clarita that they have a restaurant making such interesting and excellent food? I come up at least once a month for a music event, and how lucky am I to have discovered this place to eat beforehand? And by the way: if you live in the San Fernando Valley, this place is really less than 30 minutes away (without traffic), so the next time you're thinking of going over the hill to a place in Beverly Hills or Santa Monica, you may want to head North instead. I promise you, The Old Town Junction will become your new favorite.

Flash forward to 2026, it's a Monday around 8pm and knowing that this place doesn't close until 10pm, we figured we'd give it a shot. We arrived around 8:20pm, and asked for a table for 2. We were immediately directed into the bar which I thought was a little odd but I figured maybe they had just cleaned the main dining room for the night and it would be easier for them if they sat us in the bar. There was one customer at the bar, but he left about ten minutes into us arriving. After the bartender closed his tab out, she came to our table and took our order. She offered us bread, but it never came out. We started with an order of the figs prosciutto and salami flatbread, and the Monterey Bay tempura calamari. Both dishes came out in about 12 minutes. My partner and I enjoyed the calamari but were more impressed with the flatbread. The way the fig, and cheese, and prosciutto all blended with one another was deliciously sweet and savory. Once the appetizers came out, we put in an order for our entrees and drinks. My partner got a watermelon spritz, and I got a sparkling water. For dinner, my partner ordered the Penne Bolognese and I ordered the Linguine Pesto. The entrees took about an additional 20 minutes to whip up. I think if you're in the mood for pasta, these are both great picks. Personally, I thought the Penne Bolognese had more meat than I would have preferred, but I recognize that I'm not a huge meat eater, and for someone like my partner who has to have meat in every meal, it was incredible. My Linguine Pesto was perfectly cooked, cheesy, and the pesto flavors were prominent. I'm guessing this is a one off thing, but when we were seated in the bar area - I was getting bit by mosquitos like crazy. When I got home, I had at least 3 bites on my stomach, and then a handful running down my leg. To be honest, mosquitos love me, so I normally wouldn't have mentioned this but my partner who doesn't typically get bit as much as I do, started getting attacked too and we had to leave because we were so itchy. Overall the food here is fantastic - and I think would be a great date night spot. For 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks (1 alcoholic) our bill was $115 subtotal. There's also plenty of parking which is a plus.
