FOOD Cheddar Bay Biscuits - 7.1 / 10 I was raised on these & they taste just like they did when I would come here as a kid on Sunday afternoons with my family after going to Church. As expected, the only downside in that their size has gotten smaller over the years. Darn shrinkflation. Endless Shrimp - "Marry Me" Shrimp - 7.0 / 10 Named after the classic "Marry Me" Chicken. My least favorite of the promotion's offerings. I just don't think that tomato sauce + cream make for the best accompaniment for shrimp. The breaded topping was a bit greasy for my liking. Shrimp Scampi - 7.1 / 10 If you like butter + garlic, this is the preparation for you. It's a classic that my parents love. For me, it's a lot of butter. Personally, I prefer to mix my shrimp scampi onto my Shrimp Linguini Alfredo. Shrimp Linguini Alfredo - 7.3 / 10 I was surprised by how hearty a single portion is. Be careful, as the luscious noodles will fill up valuable stomach space if you're going for high shrimp numbers. I like how creamy the Alfredo sauce is. They're also pretty generous with the amount of shrimp that they give you. Also, this is served a bit hotter than warm, which I really appreciated. Walt's Favorite Shrimp. - 7.2 / 10 The classic fried preparation. It's nothing remarkable or anything to write home about. But it gets the job done, especially with a classic cocktail sauce. I appreciate how hot, fresh, & crispy these were. Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp - 9.1 / 10 The "sleeper" hit. I would get just these if I could. They're like crack. The size is quite big. The crunch is wickedly impressive - which I attribute to a well-breaded coconut crust. The shredded coconut works as a perfect crust coating. It blows Walt's Favorite Shrimp out of the water, at least for me. It looked so good & the plating was so impressive, that a fellow patron went up to me to ask me what it was. I don't blame him for asking. I would come back just for this dish. **Also** Whoever invented that delicious "Piña Colada Dipping Sauce" that is served alongside the Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. Seriously, I've never had anything quite like it. If Red Lobster really wanted to make some serious $$, the smart move would be to bottle & sell this "Piña Colada Dipping Sauce" in supermarkets across the country. I mean that. Heads-up: Endless Shrimp is for a limited time only & is not offered on holidays. & one incredibly important thing that Red Lobster truly gets right = they will let you take home any leftover shrimp as long as it's already on your plate. That's fair. 1) It's not right to take advantage of a business that is already being super generous with the "endless" promotion. 2) My biggest pet peeve is wasting food. If an establishment wouldn't allow you to take your leftovers home, then it goes straight to trash. I was taught that wasting food is a sin. I haven't been to any Red Lobsters since the major location closures but I was driving back from a trip and decided to stop in the Valencia location near Magic Mountain. Place was packed on a weeknight. Happy hour is 3-6p weeknights (my $5 Mark West Pinot wine was so needed that night while consuming my cheddar biscuits). I ordered a Lobster Shrimp/Salmon plate ($47.99) was so tasty on a huge plate that anyone would need a doggie bag. Lobster tail was so delish which was my favorite. I don't get to visit Red Lobster often since there aren't many locations in Los Angeles County, but I happened to be near the Valencia location during happy hour and decided to pop in. I started with a $5, 20-ounce Blue Moon. It was crisp, ice cold, and served in a chilled mug nothing beats that on a 90°+ day. For an appetizer, I asked my server Edwin, who was great, by the way for a recommendation. He mentioned the seafood dip with flatbread or the seafood stuffed mushrooms. I went with the mushrooms. They were served piping hot with melted cheese and a buttery sauce, but the imitation seafood stuffing wasn't my favorite. I'd give them 3/10 for flavor. For my main, I ordered the Mariner's Boil $50.99 and added Cajun sausage (loved the sausage since they were well done) $6.49 plus an Old Bay butter ($3.49) on the side. The boil came with lobster, crab, shrimp, 1/2 dozen red potatoes, and two corn cobs. Edwin suggested mixing the roasted garlic butter with the Cajun butter so good! The crab was sweet and easy to eat, and the shrimp was good. The lobster was decent but a touch undercooked for my taste. There were a lot of red potatoes, but they were undercooked and the corn was clearly frozen and a bit mushy but the butter helped. The atmosphere feels like the early '90s classic Red Lobster nostalgia from back when we'd go for birthdays or graduations. While a little dated, it's part of the charm. And they didn't offer me biscuits not too sure if you're supposed to ask for them either way I didn't get them :( Overall: * Appetizer: 3/10 * Mariner's Boil: 6/10 * Service: 10/10, thank you, Edwin! We were supposed to go somewhere for lunch but as we passed by Red Lobster on the 5 freeway, he started talking about it and I mentioned that I have never been to a Red Lobster. We made the immediate decision to exit to head out here. I read the reviews and saw that "smell" was an issue so I expected to smell something. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted right away and didnt have to wait to be seated since they just opened. I can immediately smell the old musky smell but it wasnt that bad. It was expected since they have a tank with lobsters by the front desk. Not long after we got seated, our server took our drink order then brought us a basket of complimentary biscuits. It was warm and good. It wasnt anything like Popeye's biscuit. We ordered the "Lobsterfest Boil" which came with 4 decent sized Maine Lobster tails, a dozen shrimp, some 2 corn on a cob and several red potatoes. For the seasoning, we got the Old Bay and Butter and opt for medium spicy. I cant tolerate super spicy and this one has a kick to it. The flavor of the seasoning was good. Our only complaint was that the shrimp could have been a little bigger. The shrimp that came with our order was really small. Service was great. Our server checked on us a few times and refilled his drink twice. The price is decent being that its seafood. One of the few Red Lobsters standing in the area (the Red Lobster in Oxnard has already been replaced by Kalaveras), my husband and I came here to eat lunch with my brother. They open at 11am on a Sunday morning so we arrived to be the first patrons there. It's located next to In N Out in Valencia and there's a small parking lot between the two restaurants. I really appreciate the layout of the restaurant when we got seated in a booth because it looks like there's separate rooms with a few dining tables and chairs so it's like you have your own private party room lol The decor here is great because it feels like an old school authentic Red Lobstery out-in-the-sea marina vibe lol We had awesome service by a gal (forgot her name) and she brought out the famous cheddar bay biscuits hot and ready for us throughout our meal. We came to celebrate my husbands birthday and left before even getting a drink. Absolutely horrible customer service. Was accused of having a fake ID because of the california ID redesign. The lady came up and hounded our table and when we explained the IDs have been redesigned she tried to show us her ID so we could "see what a real ID looks like". Shrimp Alfredo - Good. Flavorful. Not overcooked. Not watery. Very pleasant. Walts Shrimp - Got this twice. Bomb. Always hot and fresh. Comes with cocktail sauce. Skewered Shrimp - Also hot and fresh. Delicious flavor off the grill. Although I wish they would grill it on both sides. Shrimp Scampi - Very good. Had a craving for lobster tail so we decided to grab dinner here this evening. We all haven't been to Red Lobster in forever so we figured why not! We headed on over after work, being patient in rush hour traffic, and got to a pretty full lot but it was barely even busy when we walked in which was nice. We got seated immediately. She walked us towards the back and more open area and tbh, it can be a maze in here. We commented on it on the way out. Lots of random openings to other seating areas and no signs of where the exit was (unless we just didn't notice it). Finally we were ready to order our drinks but still needed time with our entrees. Everything looked so good! My bf got a shrimp platter since the dragon one looked really good and it was new on the menu. My mom and I shared the chicken garlic Alfredo and also got a side of the main lobster tail since I really wanted it. Food came out pretty quick and was looking really clean and presentable! Definitely made for great photos. All the food was delicious! The Maine lobster tail was perfect. I always wish they had more to them. I can eat like 3-4 of these probably!! So perfect with the lemon and dunk it in butter. I had some of my bf's garlic butter shrimp which was delicious as well. The dragon shrimp didn't look like the photo. Ours barely had sauce on it but the photo made it look like it was drenched in sauce which is what we expected. The chicken Alfredo was just okay to me. Felt like it needed more flavor. I ended up dipping it in the garlic butter sauce and even my regular butter dip for the lobster tail to give it more flavor. Overall, still really good and solid dinner and will definitely come back! Can't remember the last time I had such outstanding service! Great work by Kimberly .

The overall meal is decent. The biscuits are better than Olive and Cheesecake, and the service was not that slow. The pasta was good, and the seafood is great.
