Brought my kids here after Magic Mountain and we were seated immediately. The staff was so friendly and ready to talk about anything. Despite the great conversations, our food was ordered and brought the table with perfect timing. My kids had the burgers - these guys are HUGE and quite delicious. Care has definitely been given to each ingredient when designing the burgers! I had the Ruben Sandwich (which was a special) and it blew my mind! One of our favorite things is that they offer the option to swap any burger with a plant-based patty, which makes it easy to enjoy a great meal without feeling limited. The standout for us was the Gochujang Tofu--this was hands down the BEST! Packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, it's something we'd come back for every time. They also always have pre-curated mixed cocktails that are so good and pair perfectly with the food. Stopped by on a Saturday (walk in) and hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating - we moved 3 times lol I really wanted to eat outdoors so that was our final move; thanks to the staff for their patience. We ordered a round of drinks - Aperol spritz, skinny margarita & the whiskey blueberry drink (one of the 3 out of the whiskey category Ty) overall our drinks were 10/10! We then ordered the artichoke dip this was good- not thick like most where there is a cheese pull. I ordered the meats lover pizza but added jalapeños- recommend it! My sister ordered a wedge salad which was a big portion like half of a whole lettuce. My friend ordered the fish n chips which was also tasty; not a lot of batter. Overall our GM food 10/10. Join the Pub Locally-owned spot that evidently replaced a similar restaurant called "Big Wangs" (not joking) back in 2017. The Local serves up typical sports bar pub fare (e.g., burgers, sandwiches, beer, etc.) in a family-friendly and welcoming environment. The Good: * Large shared parking lot * Dog-friendly, covered, and heated outdoor seating * Local brews and a full bar * They've donated over $146k to local charities through patrons purchasing select food and drink items. * Great service by "Nancy F" * The lunch special menu is a really good value. * Burgers were really great and cooked perfectly medium. You can also tell they're not your typical store-bought patties. The Meh: * Their tots had a strange texture/taste that was just okay. I think I actually left a few on my plate, which is unprecedented, to be honest. The Ugly: *I ordered my Shroom burger with Pastrami ($4 upgrade), but it came out without it. I wasn't going to send it back and figured I'd wait to check the receipt to make sure they didn't charge me for it. When the receipt came, it didn't show anything about Pastrami, so I figured no blood, no foul. It wasn't until later that I compared the price on the menu ($19) versus the price on my receipt ($23) that I realized they did, in fact, charge me. It's not that I care about the $4 so much as why the receipt wasn't clear about the upcharge. Conclusion: Good food, cold suds, but keep an eye on the receipt. read more

Awesome place to eat. It doesn't look great from the outside, but inside it is interesting. It has television sets maybe about 15 of them attached to the ceiling corners and they play football, basketball or soccer etc. sports on the screen. There is a bar in the front that caters to alcoholics, or people who just want to drink casually. In the back side, there are places to sit like a restaurant. It was full when I got there. My uncle came by to meet up with his cousin and we all stayed and ate together. I ordered the three tacos recommended by the restaurant called the shrimp tacos. It had an interesting seasoning on it, but sure but it was $20. What made them great was the taco shell. It was hand made and authentic. It was made to order, it came with chips. Overall I enjoyed it, it filled me up. My friends ordered a pasta dish called a penne Alfredo with chicken, a roast beef melt with tater tots and a salmon and cod sandwich. All great! But all over $20. The service was awesome. I had a beautiful young blonde girl taking our orders and she was really nice. I don't know her name but she was one of the waitresses there. The girl who escorted us to our seats was also nice and very pretty. I don't know her name either unfortunately. SMV must have been decent. The food, ambiance, wait time all within respectable limits. I enjoyed the food, value of food and quick receiving of food. The personality of waitress and looks were great. The food presentation and taste was authentic. I'll be back again. I enjoyed every minute I was there. The con was the bathroom did not have any towels to wipe hands after washing them. This is the second time I've been to this restaurant. I love the location as it's across the street from our apartment. Awesome to be able to walk over to a restaurant/pub and get served relatively quickly. we love the sandwiches that we've ordered and tonight I had a Red Bull with vodka it was awesome. Great place to come and eat. Great places to eat! Kind of funny, the name of the location is called the Local Pub and Grill. Apropos for the name of the restaurant! Stopped in here with the oldest child after a day at Magic Mountain, just down the road. We tried the chicken nachos and had them add guacamole. They were absolutely delicious and there is enough to easily feed 3-4 people. They put regular cheese but also add their beer cheese...SO GOOD. Then we tried the Churro dessert...oh my goodness...the churros were crispy, but also light and fluffy all at the same time! And they definitely do not skimp out on the cinnamon and sugar. They paired so well with their ice cream. We are so glad we stopped in on a Sunday afternoon before heading back home. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our waters filled, and the restaurant had a nice social buzz going...not too loud with plenty of different entertainment options on their many TVs. Food and service are consistently good. Been to this restaurant several times and have yet to be disappointed. We went for lunch during the weekday around 12 and were seated right away. They have patio seating so we sat outside. From the hostess to our server, everyone was friendly. We ordered the lunch combo. My friends got the humus wrap with the soup of the day (lentil soup) and I got the 1/2 coup sandwich (crispy chicken) and the soup as well. We also ordered fries to share. Everything was very tasty and well seasoned. Loved the crispiness of the fries. Usually lentil soup is a hit or miss but this definitely was a hit. First visit - 1/22/26 3PM - 4PM Food: I had to eat light on my first visit so I ordered the fish and chips. It was just okay, nothing special. Their pretzel was terrific. The brownie, however, was incredible -- easily the best brownie I've ever had. Service: The server was very attentive and friendly. I wish I remembered her name (Latina). She did a great job. Second visit - 2/27/26 3PM - 4PM Food: The pastrami sandwich was really good, though I wish it had a little more meat. The fried zucchini was excellent and they have some of the best ranch I've had!. The kitchen is clearly doing solid work. Service: The service the second time was disappointing. The hostess who seated us had a terrible attitude (Angry looking). She looked completely miserable and like she didn't want to be there. My waitress (Caucasian) left dirty plates sitting on the table and never once offered refills. She came off snobbish and acted like she didn't care about the people she was serving. On the way out, there was what appeared to be a new server (Caucasian) standing near the exit saying goodbye to customers as they left. When my kids and I walked out, she just stared at us and said nothing. Meanwhile, she was acknowledging other customers. It honestly made me wonder if it was because we weren't white. I can't stand servers who act like they're better than the people they're waiting on. That kind of attitude ruins the whole experience. It's a shame because the food is good, but service like that drives customers away. If that's the standard there, I probably won't be going back. read more

This was my second visit to LP&G in the last week. On my first visit (inside), my party of 2 tried the wings (decent) the pretzel (good) a couple of burgers (average) and a couple margaritas (good). The worst part of the experience was our server. The server was inattentive...badly inattentive, like literally +20' with no drinks or water during the meal and no chance to reorder more alcohol. We had to get water and another drink from the bar. My second visit was on a Friday night on the patio. Brought friends because the atmosphere and other reviews were so outstanding. The live musician, Ellis Bryant, was AWESOME - if you like country, he's real nice. The food was better than my first visit - tried a few different things - fish tacos (decent), shrimp (better) tacos, nachos (large, meh), chicken parm (decent), mozzarella sticks (a hit), and different alcoholic beverages (all good). Food was probably a 4 star review, but the service again basically stinks like a 2 at best. We'd have to ask other servers to find our serve, go to the bar to get water or alcohol for our table (or a beer for the musician) and it's just really, really poor service - at least from the two servers I had. Hopefully the servers can figure out a basic rotation for checking in on tables. Others around us had similar experiences waiting for service during their respective meals. read more

Ok let me start by saying my workday started off pretty lousy so I was in a not fabulous mood. Needless to say, I had to get out of the office. I'm not super familiar with the area so decided to check out Yelp for some ideas, despite almost never dining alone. Let's start with the obvious, any place that's busy during the middle of the week at lunch is saying something; and for being in a shopping center, the restaurant is adorable and offers a nice respite on the patio! I was greeted right away and was offered to take a seat anywhere I liked. I took a seat at one of the high top tables outside and within minutes, my server, Avery, was there with a smile and the menu. Despite watching Avery as well as the other staff bustling about, every employee that went by checked in with me to make sure everything was ok and see if I needed anything. Fairly quickly after ordering, my food was served and again despite being busy, Avery remembered my request for ranch for my fries- what can I say, it's the little things... I ordered the lunch special with club sandwich and aforementioned fries, which were both amazing! I can't believe I finished it all!! I'll leave off by saying Avery works every Wednesday and Thursday, although probably shouldn't say that, but as I was leaving, I was addressed by name welcoming me to come back! read more

Place is still just ok for me. We met a friend who was in town and this is where she picked I got the Tri tip tacos which were good. The tortillas were nice and thick and I liked the fried jalapeño slices on top. I think no would have liked it better if the cabbage had a little acid like A dressing or even a squeeze of lime The tiramisu was just meh for me. I felt like a layer cake and was a little dry to my liking. I didn't detect any espresso or gran marnier. Every bite was amazing -- fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell they really take pride in what they do here. Places like this are hard to find. We visited them again, and found things better than ever. We went early on a Saturday, and we were able to get seated on their patio right away. Glad we did, because it got busier and busier as the evening went on. Our server (Ian) got to the table right away and took care of drinks. We ordered the fried pickle chips and fried zucchini appetizers, which were delivered promptly. It's a good thing my wife doesn't like fried pickle chips, because it leaves more for me. The Local serves them with ranch and chipotle mayo dips and they have a nice kick to them. The zucchini was good, and is served with ranch dressing for dipping. My wife was craving a burger, and she said it was excellent and ate everything. I ordered their crispy chicken sandwich, served on artisan sourdough. It was very good, maybe a bit under-seasoned for my taste, but I enjoyed it. We both ordered their tater tots, which are perfectly cooked. They're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Local serves the expected beer and wine, but also has a full bar for anything else you want. It is a family friendly restaurant, including providing games to play. What a wonderful place to have nearby where you can come on a moment's notice, get a table and eat delicious California style gastropub food, for very reasonable prices. We just didn't feel much like going anywhere this weekend and decided to go back to Local Pub because we had such a great experience last time. Could we duplicate it? Yes! The food is fabulous we've been here 4 times now driving from Northern CA to Disneyland. Found this place by chance last year and have stopped by going and coming 4 times. Worth the stop. Starting off this was my first time trying this local pub. The customer service was great the waitress insured that we had all our questions answered. She even helped with the substitution and was very patient when ordering food came out very presentable and nicely looking we tried the chicken nachos the fried pickles and we all did burger sliders. Overall the food was good, a bit on the higher side of prices but definitely good spot for some beers and food! The inside of the pub was similar to an older sports bar. But spacious, bathrooms were the negative experience from this restaurant. The bathrooms were not clean, walking in there was an unexpected surprise in one of the toilets and trash on the floor. I rarely give 5 stars so you know I love it here. I came to this place twice while on the road from Northern California to Southern California. This is going to be my go to place from now one when heading down to either way. We came here on a Wednesday night and the place had a good amount of people in it for a weeknight. The hostess sat us right away and was very friendly. The second time we came the hostess sat us outside because we had a dog with us and she offered us a small dog biscuit for our dog. The service both times were top notch. The first server was very knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly and the second server also was very happy and helpful. The first time I came I ordered the brussel sprouts for a starter. The sprouts were tender yet still keeping their shape. You could taste the sharp cheese and the acidity of the lime. For dinner I had the fish and chips. The fish batter was crispy and the fish tender. The fries were some of the best I ever had. So light and crispy. I wanted to eat them all but didn't have the room. The second time I came I had the teriyaki salmon with asparagus and vegetable rice on the side. The salmon cooked tenderly and asparagus grilled crispy yet tender the rice was my favorite. The rice was flavorful and fluffy. It tasted just like fried rice should. The outside patio we sat the second time was nice because they had games you can play while you wait which was a plus for my small grandchild. read more
