The parking was crowded and we definitely needed to park a little down the street. It's a bit loud but nothing too ear shattering. They had live music playing when we went on a Sunday and they have indoor and outdoor seating with misters working overtime to keep customers cool. There's a ton of workers constantly moving and taking orders, cleaning, making drinks and etc so service was very fast. I think from the entire visit took us about 20 minutes and we walked in at 1:30 pm and ordered a pretty large ish breakfast for 2 people. The eggs are fantastic, the bacon is crisp with no soggy bits, the French toast is thick and comes with some pretty cool toppings. The only thing that was a minor let down was the biscuits and gravy were a little lack luster but we chose to believe it was because they were closing soonish. Their coffee was incredible. Love this place! Even though they were very busy, we were seated within about 10 minutes. The staff was attentive, polite, and efficient throughout our visit. This restaurant is a beast! I have never seen such an extensive breakfast menu before. My husband and I stopped in on a road trip. I called ahead and was told there was no wait as long as we got there soon. We were about 20 min away. The restaurant was PACKED. Luckily, we got seated right away. My husband had an omelet with ground beef and it was fantastic. I had one with turkey sausage, which was good, but his was better. We ordered the smaller portioned omelets, and they were still massive. I enjoyed the option of getting an English muffin. The potatoes were also great. I enjoyed my iced tea, and my husband enjoyed his latte. If you sit outside, you might catch some live music. We sat indoors, since I just took whatever was first available. Plenty of parking, when you walk up you're greeted by usually 2 hosts that are very friendly and get you seated promptly. Inside there's plenty of seats and normally is busy. Food comes out quick and coffee is hot! Always great service and my go to breakfast place when I'm in town. Very homey and classic breakfast in Santa Clarita. Always seems busy; so the community clearly loves this place. It's a nice location and they have both indoor and outdoor seating situations. Service is always good here and it's great to hear some of the regulars get hellos. With that said, the preference to regulars is clear here- not a huge knock I get why this happens but others would potentially be bothered by other people getting priority seating. I was here with an ex girlfriend so slightly awkward but the atmosphere and food made it much more pleasant of an experience. The food was solid, was not mind blowing. Egg Plantation is a great breakfast destination stop before exiting the LA County area of Castaic. They open at 6am for the early birds line me. We arrived at 7:30am and seats indoor and outside patio was quickly filled. Dog friend on the patio. We were greeted by a friendly host who took us to our seats. The waitress quickly came by and took our order. I enjoyed the casual rustic ambiance and it wasn't pretentious. Great food and great people. Lots of regular customers dinning. We tried the Erin's breakfast sandwich and Simon's English Breakfast. Maybe named after the owners?!? Ice teas and Cafe Latte were delicious. I love the vibe of this place and it's so comforting/a nice switch of scenery compared to what I'm usually surrounded by in Los Angeles. Only found out about this place like last week while grabbing coffee across at Honu! We noticed the parking lot was packed and heard the live music and all the chatter over here. Decided to grab brunch here today and it did not disappoint! We got here around maybe 11am and the wait was about 25-35 minutes. We put our name down, grabbed coffee at Henry's down the street, and shortly after, our table was ready! We were walked all the way to the back inside at a high bar table which was perfect for two. Love these types of seating! This place is much bigger than we expected. Lots of seating inside but also lots outside in like two separate patio areas. We ordered their chilaquiles, side of eggs, bacon, hashbrown, and pancakes. Alex was a great waitress and made sure to constantly check up on us. Came here with my girlfriend for a little late breakfast. I think we showed up around 1 PM. We walked straight up to the front asked for a table and will see that immediately kind of shocking with how many people were waiting outside, but just bigger parties so we are sitting relatively fast. I lived in Santa Clarita my whole life and probably only been here a few times felt like taking her hair for the ambience and with how popular it is I forgot the name of our waitress, but she was amazing. Cannot thank her enough for how something she was. My girl mentioned to her how motherly and amazing she was and how warm and helpful she was as well. We both got two coffees. I think I got something raspberry chocolate wasn't the biggest fan but I still enjoyed it and ordered a chicken fried steak came with eggs, toast, and potatoes. I thought about getting a two egg breakfast but for two dollars more I could get a chicken fried steak so that just made too much sense. Meh...a local favorite but not so much for this tourist. The service was not the best either. They do have 100 omelettes on the menu BUT some of the pairings do seem a bit odd so how often is it really ordered, if at all. I feel like it's a "selling point" or a claim to fame of some sort. Anyways the food and coffee were ok, but nothing stood out much. What got me was the seating method. You have to wait outside by a host stand with nobody there. I went inside to ask about being seated and was directed to stand by the desk. A few minutes passed (about 5) and another group comes and walks right on in. I hear them ask a waiter if they can be seated and they are immediately directed to a table?!?! About another minute later the hosts strolls on out looking bored snd finally seats us. We went on a weekday and they weren't busy so I didn't understand the lack of service. This was my first time at this restaurant. They serve only breakfast and lunch foods with breakfast being their speciality. I absolutely love breakfast burritos and felt this is a place where I could get a good one. I was wrong. The menu said the burrito contained bacon, sausage, egg and hash brown potatoes. Apparently, what they did was blend all the ingredients together into one bland concoction and wrap it in a tortilla. Not a single ingredient was identifiable. Also, the burrito arrived blazing hot so I assume it was also microwaved. It was served with a small bowl of salsa. I was with a fairly large group and it had taken awhile to get our orders taken and food delivered. To send back my food and order something new would have had me receiving my new order as the rest of my group were getting ready to leave, so I ate about half my burrito and kept my mouth shut. Everyone else at my table seemed to be pleased with their meals, so apparently I had selected a poor choice from their large menu. If you want a good breakfast burrito, I recommend getting one from a food truck and at half the price. read more
