Very homey and classic breakfast in Santa Clarita. Always seems busy; so the community clearly loves this place. It's a nice location and they have both indoor and outdoor seating situations. Service is always good here and it's great to hear some of the regulars get hellos. With that said, the preference to regulars is clear here- not a huge knock I get why this happens but others would potentially be bothered by other people getting priority seating. I was here with an ex girlfriend so slightly awkward but the atmosphere and food made it much more pleasant of an experience. The food was solid, was not mind blowing. Wished for a bit more flavor and actual spice on a Mexican inspired dish but still enjoyed it. Pretty big menu so I will have to try something else next time
I had the pesto scream, and the alcoholic chai latte both are really good. The amount of food that came with the pesto scream was more than I was expecting, so I ended up taking some part of it to go. My server was very nice and helpful, the hostess was also very nice. The restaurant was very cozy and seemed like the type of place you could go to every weekend for breakfast. The amount of options on the menu are immense, both food and drink/coffee wise.
I don't really go for breakfast places but I had super a great experience here!! Started off with a white chocolate mocha latte that looked sooo delicious and came with a chocolate chip little scone?? YUM... I dipped it in my latte Lots of menu options and our server was so kind and checked in on us perfectly. I wish I got her name. I got the omelette with sausage, bacon, mushroom, cheese... super yummy and the side of potatoes with my ranch!!! And it comes with a side of sourdough. Would definitely come again an try something new since there's sooooo much
Although it took us a little bit to be seated, it was worth the weight. Our server was wonderful and when I asked for a surprise, she happily agreed. I was the one who received the savory crêpes. I can't believe how big the place is it doesn't look like that from the outside. We're not from here so it was a nice stop off. Will definitely be back.
Warm, homey and friendly vibe! It's always so busy here on the weekends so we tried our luck on an early Thursday morning. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the hosts and shortly seated. Our food came rather quickly as well. My eggs were perfectly over-easy. Bacon was crispy! My husband also enjoyed his Pesto Scram! We totally get the egg plantation craze.
Egg Plantation is a great breakfast destination stop before exiting the LA County area of Castaic. They open at 6am for the early birds line me. We arrived at 7:30am and seats indoor and outside patio was quickly filled. Dog friend on the patio. We were greeted by a friendly host who took us to our seats. The waitress quickly came by and took our order. I enjoyed the casual rustic ambiance and it wasn't pretentious. Great food and great people. Lots of regular customers dinning. We tried the Erin's breakfast sandwich and Simon's English Breakfast. Maybe named after the owners?!? Ice teas and Cafe Latte were delicious. The English Muffin did have more butter than I would have liked so you can put it on the side. Dishes are pricey but very hearty.
Came here with my girlfriend for a little late breakfast. I think we showed up around 1 PM. We walked straight up to the front asked for a table and will see that immediately kind of shocking with how many people were waiting outside, but just bigger parties so we are sitting relatively fast. I lived in Santa Clarita my whole life and probably only been here a few times felt like taking her hair for the ambience and with how popular it is I forgot the name of our waitress, but she was amazing. Cannot thank her enough for how something she was. My girl mentioned to her how motherly and amazing she was and how warm and helpful she was as well. We both got two coffees. I think I got something raspberry chocolate wasn't the biggest fan but I still enjoyed it and ordered a chicken fried steak came with eggs, toast, and potatoes. I thought about getting a two egg breakfast but for two dollars more I could get a chicken fried steak so that just made too much sense. Everything was delicious if I come back again, I would definitely get hashbrowns instead of the potatoes. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back again
I love the vibe of this place and it's so comforting/a nice switch of scenery compared to what I'm usually surrounded by in Los Angeles. In comparison, it has a rustic/laid-back/unpretentious hometown vibe where locals and out-of-towners alike will come in for that big bowl of comfort clam chowder, morning cup of coffee/OJ, and last but not least, all that yummy food. My absolute fave is the Crab Benedict served w/ a side of O-Brien potatoes, w/ extra hollandaise sauce please. Even better if they were to have the CrabCake Benedict year round, but sadly I heard it's only once per year around Mother's Day. They also sell bags of coffee here. I can't wait to try the clam chowder next. I've only gotten takeout here so far, but thus far the service has been good too for my takeout and ordering. Yay for Egg Plantation!
Only found out about this place like last week while grabbing coffee across at Honu! We noticed the parking lot was packed and heard the live music and all the chatter over here. Decided to grab brunch here today and it did not disappoint! We got here around maybe 11am and the wait was about 25-35 minutes. We put our name down, grabbed coffee at Henry's down the street, and shortly after, our table was ready! We were walked all the way to the back inside at a high bar table which was perfect for two. Love these types of seating! This place is much bigger than we expected. Lots of seating inside but also lots outside in like two separate patio areas. We ordered their chilaquiles, side of eggs, bacon, hashbrown, and pancakes. Alex was a great waitress and made sure to constantly check up on us. We ended up loving their Louisiana garlic hot sauce which is homemade so we bought a bottle for $10 to take home. Food came out SUPER quick and everything was absolutely delicious. Very good service! I ordered the breakfast burrito and the Belgian waffle, and both were great. We arrived around 1 PM and were seated right away. The service was amazing and the staff was very attentive. The guitar music at the front created a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere, and the fans outside provided a nice breeze so it didn't feel too hot. Overall a great experience! I'll definitely be back.
Meh...a local favorite but not so much for this tourist. The service was not the best either. They do have 100 omelettes on the menu BUT some of the pairings do seem a bit odd so how often is it really ordered, if at all. I feel like it's a "selling point" or a claim to fame of some sort. Anyways the food and coffee were ok, but nothing stood out much. What got me was the seating method. You have to wait outside by a host stand with nobody there. I went inside to ask about being seated and was directed to stand by the desk. A few minutes passed (about 5) and another group comes and walks right on in. I hear them ask a waiter if they can be seated and they are immediately directed to a table?!?! About another minute later the hosts strolls on out looking bored snd finally seats us. We went on a weekday and they weren't busy so I didn't understand the lack of service. All of this put together and considering there are so many other food spots to try, I wouldn't risk being ignored again.

I came here with a friend on a Saturday morning and we were able to get a table right away inside the restaurant. My friend had a bit of a difficult time finding parking since it's pretty busy for brunch on the weekends in Newhall. The service was pretty good, our waitress took our drink order right away. I got the lavender latte, it was very good. I would have preferred fewer lavender buds on top, as it was not the most pleasant to drink them, but it had a very nice lavender flavor. I really liked the biscuits and gravy, there was a good biscuit to gravy ratio, and the biscuits had a nice, fluffy texture. The omelet was also good and had a nice spice to it from the chiles. The hashbrowns were okay and I would have liked them to be crispier. The portion sizes are very generous, and I needed to take a lot of my meal home with me. The restaurant was packed, so it was very loud and made it sort of difficult to talk with my friend, so if I came back, I would probably come on a weekday instead. if you're looking for an authentic brunch spot, egg plantation is definitely the vibe! their menu is amazing, full of so many choices you'll definitely find something for everyone. i recommend the eggs benedict, it was so delicious. a huge shoutout to our server Jeremy for the amazing service, he always had a smile on his face & checked in truly 10/10 service! i will be back to try more of the menu read more

We recently moved in the City , and we Love Breakfast /Brunch. In our hopes to try something new in our new hometown, we started looking around to decide where to have our Sunday morning Breakfast /Brunch Date. Thank Heavens for EGG PLANTATION ! Breakfast Served as good as it gets.! We ordered The Delicious Plantation Benedict & Biscuits in Gravy. The Biscuits in Gravy were so Bomb!, I forgot to take pictures of it for my post. For drinks my gf ordered the Salted caramel latte & I had a BOURBON BRAMBLE Everything was delicious, Service was attentive and prompt. Everything freshly made. Definitely will be going back for breakfast/Brunch or Lunch with the whole Fam. read more
Cozy, cottage-style charm with food worth the wait! Egg Plantation in Newhall delivers big flavors in a compact, lively setting. My filet Benedict was cooked perfectly with generous portions and great side choices (yes, even sweet potato fries!). Famous for their omelets but also strong on lunch options. Service is friendly and patient, and their full espresso bar (and bar-bar) seals the deal -- the espresso martini was fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating both have a great vibe. Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and it was such a pleasant experience! The wait time was about 15 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. The staff was very accommodating, especially with a baby, which I really appreciated. I ordered the chicken fried steak--it came in a generous portion and was delicious! Service was great and overall, I really enjoyed the visit. I'll definitely be a returning customer. read more

Looking for a spot for breakfast before our trip to Six Flags, we ended up at Egg Plantation. While the amount of people standing outside gave us a little fear we were luckily sat within 10-15 minutes. The restaurant is a little cramped but it's not unmanageable and it helps the wait go faster. My only complaint is maybe the bathroom line as there are only two individual bathrooms and a cramped space for a line. Our server was very friendly and on top of it. We got to enjoy some champagne with the Sunday special. Us girls decided on the full breakfast with our choice of eggs, potato/side, toast and protein (I went for turkey sausage) while the guys each went for one of their 101 omelette choices (some of which look really strange/interesting). Not impressed. Waited 30 minutes to be seated, waited 30 minutes to get our order take, and waited 40 minutes for our food. And then the food was mediocre. It wasn't bad but not worth the wait. They were extremely busy, every table was filled. So maybe due to lack of staff is the reason everything took so long. But idk what I ordered was good but again not worth it. Unique though I haven't had anything like that before and they had a ton of options. Classics and unique items. My boyfriend got chicken fried steak and we've gone to other places with better. Their coffee was very yummy though, I really liked the drink I got. Perfect about of sweet and caffeine. I have gone here in the past though before doing yelp and the food was great so I might give it one more try on a less busy day. Service was meh, as mentioned we waited awhile. Not very attentive. Still nice though No parking lot all street parking. There are cute little antique shops near it. Not many places to stand or sit while you wait, or shade. Inside again was very very loud, a bit overwhelming honestly. They do have out door seating. It was hot inside. Idk a lot of dislikes honestly but again I have gone here before and I really really like it. So maybe it was just an off day. read more

Parking can be tough since the restaurant is always busy but wait goes by pretty quick. Came for Saturday brunch for 2 and had a 25-30 minute wait. Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating - cozy feel. The blueberry muffin french toast tastes exactly that but I want to come back and try the crunchy french toast! Today, I was reminded of how incredible this place is with customer service. Sat next to a customer who practically sent every item back because "it was wrong". The staff was amazing and I don't know how they continued to be accommodating and respectful because I would've lost it. Just goes to show how good the staff (and the food is). This place is truly awesome and so are the people that work there. Just be nice, ITS NOT THAT HARD! read more

I had the green pork chile rilleno omelette, forgot the name. My husband had the protein omlette. The pork one was tasty!!!! The restaurant has a great vibe, the staff is professional and super clean (that's important)! When a restaurant is super clean, it shows they care on every level. Food is very good. Egg Plantation does not disappoint. I wanted to order a latte, but it was just too expensive. I did see other people order it, and it looked very pretty and substantial served with a biscotti. But even then, $7.25-$7.45 for a fancy coffee drink is too expensive. read more
I came here to meet one of my girl friends for a brunch day. It was packed here on a Sunday morning but I got there early to get our names on the list as it's a first come first serve kinda place. The hostess told me it would be around 30 mins but it was less time then that as we were only two people compared to the groups of people ahead of us. We sat down outside on a chilly overcast day, but it was fine as there were outside heaters near us on the patio. They have more breakfast items here then lunch as they are known for their breakfast so that's what we got. I got a hot chai tea with almond milk and she got a coffee. I also ordered two eggs any style (scrambled) with a side of country potatoes and gf toast. The eggs were perfect, the country potato's not so much. They must have changed their recipe because they used to be really good, they were on the bland side even with whatever seasoning they used. The chai was good and creamy, however if I'm ordering gf bread with my meal why add a biscotti I can't eat? My friend got the egg Benedict (the original one) she ate it all and said it was really good, but didn't care for the potato's as well. Our service was really good and our waiter was really attentive, even with how busy it was on a Sunday morning. It was a great place to catch up with my friend and enjoy some good food. Also parking is crazy on the weekends so street parking is your best bet as the lot gets full in the back with other stores/restaurants around. If you don't mind walking there's a parking structure a block or two over. read more

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 10 years. The food and the service are amazing. Danica, our waitress was so considerate, enlightening, and personable. I ordered the results protein omelet special with eggs white, mushrooms, spinach, and turkey meat with cottage cheese and fruit and it was pleasurable. They give you a large quantity of food, so it's more than enough for you to share your food if you like. They have 101 omelets to choose from with a massive menu of other foods to select from. Very unique coffee drinks and quality ingredients. The atmosphere is cool with plenty of seating indoors or outdoors. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Note: Brunch on the weekends, with a variety of alcoholic drinks and mimosas. read more

This place was packed on this Sunday morning, but we didn't wait too long. We were called in 25 minutes for a party of 3 and were seated outside. The weather was perfect and I heard it gets a bit crowded inside. I also noticed people brought their dogs, and that was cool! Maybe next time, I will bring mine! Jeremy, our waiter, came shortly after and brought us our drinks after a while. I know it was busy, so that was fine. He took our order. That was my chance to use the restroom. There are 2 restrooms in the restaurant and there was a line of people. It wasn't a long wait. The restroom was clean and there was a small table to set my purse, which was nice. Our food arrived soon after I came back. I chose the Classic Eggs Benedict with hash browns. I asked for extra hollandaise sauce and thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. My daughter had the breakfast sandwich with country potatoes and my son-in-law had the eggs, bacon, sausage and toast with country potatoes breakfast. Everything was delicious and Jeremy was a pleasure to have as our waitperson. I haven't been here for years, but I would love to come back and try another wonderful breakfast! read more

We saw that this was a popular place on yelp and since we were in Valencia for Magic Mountain we went to check it out. The ambiance was pretty simple but they had beautiful drawing for sale. The food was amazing but the bacon was way too salty. We just got a chicken and waffle and they can with a drumstick, wing, thigh and breast. We also ordered potatoes on the side just because it's very popular. Overall the service was quick and polite. read more
This place was excellent from the service to the food. Twelve of us went there when visiting a friend's son who lives in Newhall. The place was packed for lunch, thank goodness we made reservations. There are 101 omelettes on the menu (plus other breakfast and lunch plates) so a great selection. Our server was amazing and took all 12 orders without writing them down and got every one 100% correct, including those of us who changed some of the items in our omelette. If you're in the Newhall area for breakfast or lunch we'd recommend making a reservation and trying this out. It's mostly outdoors but covered in case of bad weather. read more
Excellent! Our server Joel was awesome too! We waited around 15min on a Saturday morning around 10:30am - no bad at all! To start we tried Raspberry Limeade and chocolate milk! Yum! We ordered stuffed strawberry French toast and Cobb omelette with toast. We also got hash browns with sautéed onions and gravy. LOVED it. Outdoor seating was lovey and inside was nice too! The service was superb!! As other staff members were very assisting when our server was occupied with another table and forgot our to go order. The other staff member ran and obtained our order!! 2nd time visiting Egg Plantation, and it didn't disappoint! Our waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful. The ambiance is simple, unrushed, and enjoyable. The food was amazing!! The plantation Benedict didn't disappoint. I had the tomato basil soup with grilled cheese on sour dough - so good on a chilly day. HAD to have the cinnamon roll, and the salted caramel latte - both made my taste buds happy!! The lavender latte was good, but liked the salted caramel better. Can't wait to go back!! read more

Arrived to a wait but got in by the sixth minute mark. Very cramped seating. Had to keep my left elbow clear for the wait staff passing through constantly. I ordered the Randall's 4-Egg Omelette. Chorizo, avocado, mushrooms, tomatoes and Monterey Jack cheese with O'Brien potatoes. It was a 4 out of 5. The salsa was good. I really enjoyed the rye as well. There's a lot of good eateries in Newhall and I'm not too sure if Eggplantation is at the top of my list. read more

Sunday brunch was packed!! Of course it would be since this gem of a spot has literally 101 different egg omelets combos. Also has a full menu of pancakes, French toasts, a full bar....what else can one ask for? Oh wait ...... the service incredible. :) We sat outside with perfect weather but inside is a little noisy but that's totally fine because the smells are worth the noise. We were just passing through the area and happy to find Egg Plantation. I don't think you could go wrong with anything you choose. read more

Came through last weekend for breakfast with the family. Quickly seated inside and was quite busy when we first sat. Extensive menu with over 100 omelet options but we opted for the full breakfast plate and the fruit crepes with Nutella instead of marscapone. Both delicious and filling, the crepes were loaded with nutella. It was nice and cool inside so we also got some hot chocolates which were tasty. Everything hit the spot and service was very friendly and quick. A nice cozy spot for breakfast with ample street parking nearby. read more

Does Egg plantation still give free birthday meal?
Can dogs be on the outside patio?
Yep, leashed dogs are welcome on the patio - we've taken our dogs and haven't had an issue.. It is often very crowded though, so just keep that in mind if you have a very shy/nervous pup.
How many years in business?

No. They just have Udi's bread
Is there a limit to how big your party can be?
I saw a party of 6 there not sure if can be larger but I know that the bigger the party the longer the wait.

Yes. They have outdoor seating to dine and I've seen patrons with their dogs on leashes.

As far as I know, it's first come first serve. You Walk up and they take your name and you wait for a table.

Whatever you order will be fantastic. I usually order Eggs Benedict which is my personal favorite. They have the absolute best Bloody Mary's ever. Bon Appetite
