Eat Real is a really nice place for brunch, lunch, and everything in between. They have lots of breakfast options, salads, sandwiches. I also appreciated their smoothie and juice options and unique coffee and matcha drinks. The food is organic and there are so many healthy options. It was a 30 minute wait to be seated but the food and ambience made it all worth it. In the meantime, you can walk around the town and check out the other shops. Inside the staff are very nice and the decor is very warm and welcoming. This is a great place for a catch up with friends, dinner with family, or a nice treat for yourself! read more

This was my first time here to Eat Real Cafe and I was not disappointed. The food was very good and the boho vibe inside was very pleasant and relaxing. I ordered the Loaded Chicken Quesadilla to try something light. I had to get it unloaded due to diet restrictions and the server / host who took my order was very understanding. She assured me they would take my allergies and health considerations into full account. Even went back to the kitchen right then and there to remind the cook. The Quesadilla was very delicious. They loaded it up with lots of chicken and jack cheese blend. Even though I couldn't partake in all the fixings, it really held its own. This would make a good shareable appetizer for 4 people or a satisfying light meal for 1. Everything tasted very fresh. They chipotle mayo is made in house, as well as the guacamole. Always walked by Eat Real Cafe but never stepped in until now. Glad we did too. Before a movie around the corner our group stopped in for a quick bite to go. The Chicken Club Sandwich was amazing. On grilled sourdough the sandwich has a delicious breast of chicken with applewood bacon and cheddar. The combination was perfect. Not sure if they season the chicken but it was so good and juicy. The side of sweet potatoes chips was also very good. I'm not usually into sweet potato fries or chips but they were a good compliment. I had a bite of the chicken quesadillas which were really good too. Everything tasted very fresh. We planned on taking the food to go but while waiting we were enjoying the ambiance inside and stayed. The girl at the front counter was super nice and completed the order as requested. The aesthetics of this cafe are so beautiful, I just wish the food was a little but more exciting. I got the OG breakfast. The plate it self seemed sort of empty, and the tomato was kind of random. The garlic hash browns were great though. I also got the cafe con leche: it's basically milk and coffee with a bit of sugar. No real brown sugar flavor there at all. The service itself was great though. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. I might just need to try something different on the menu, because everyone was great to us our first time here. We were in downtown Santa Clarita on Main Street, and thought we would try this Eat Real café. First off, they have a really nice menu with quite a variety of drinks, including specialty juices, specialty coffees and teas, with or without caffeine, and a lot of superfood drinks. The lavender moon latte the best ever! Not too heavy on the lavender, the super food wasn't overpowering, and with oat milk it was absolutely creamy and delicious! We also had the power grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken was a bit dry, but it had kale jack cheese with red pepper pesto, and other than the dryness of the chicken the sandwich was pretty darn good. They have nice music playing in the background, the service is friendly, and we sat outside on their cute patio. All in all, it was pretty good! Not perfect, but a pretty good place to stop, especially if you love lavender because I'm telling you that drink I'm gonna think about for a long time! read more

My cold pressed "Pumped" juice was AMAZINGLY good, dwarfed only by the absolutely STELLAR "Maca Mushroom Mocha Latte" -- the cafés most "must get" drink in my humble opinion. The vegan nachos arrived as a chips plate for a party would - nestled in a large bowl and REPLETE with every topping a nacho lover loves (beans, pico, guac, cream cheese), the vegan cheese was to die for and so were the gluten free Siete chips (so awesome to see). My vegan wrap was warm and just so tasty. If you're an avocado fan, you would love it. My date's vegan bowl (pictured but keep in mind she removed some veges from it for taste preferences) was enough food for a family of 4. My son is a regular here so I had to try them out while I was in the Santa Clarita, CA area this past weekend. The neighborhood is so cute and cozy. As you walk into the restaurant, you get this laid-back feeling that I loved, especially in the morning. The restaurant was clean and very well designed to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling. I started with an iced Matcha with oat-milk & a butterscotch scone...delicious. I ordered the omelette, which was very good with a side of hashbrowns. Yum! The granola has a saltiness to balance out the fruit in the bowl. The location is in the heart of downtown Newhall. Parking was easy on a weekday, I parked in the structure. I'm officially done with Eat Real Food. Every time I sit outside, the server forgets about us, and this last visit was the breaking point. I already know their lattes take forever, but our drinks didn't come out until after we finished eating. The grilled bread is AMAZING, but the plain, non-toasted pita makes everyone rush to get the grilled bread so they're not stuck with the boring pita! I've been here twice. The first time the service was pretty good, the second time it was a little disappointing. We had to keep asking for another water cup after multiple servers kept saying "sure!" And then totally forgetting. Our water glass arrived after our lunch, when the water carafe was empty, and some of our meals were not quite cold, but they definitely weren't hot or even warm. Came here for Saturday brunch on Mother's Day weekend and it was packed but we didn't wait too long considering it was a holiday weekend. We were seated inside and I immediately noticed how cute the inside aesthetic is! We ordered a few different things and the food came out pretty quickly. I got the strawberry smoothie and it was great, yummy without being overly sweet. The shrimp tacos were amazing and the power griller sandwich was delicious as well. I got my daughter the kids chicken plate subbing chicken for salmon and it was great (love that they use wild caught salmon). The service was great overall too. I love that they use organic and clean ingredients. I even noticed they use Redmond Real Salt which is a really high quality salt, and says a lot about how much they care about the quality of their ingredients. Prices are reasonable too. Had some vegan family members come in from out-of-town for Christmas & wanted to take them to a place that could accommodate their dietary needs. I do not think there could had been a better place to take them in SCV. Set aside the fact that ERC is situated amongst the fairly renovated downtown Newhall (within the past couple of years), walking inside kind of feels like you've been transported you to another world - you do get "small town vibes, U.S.A. where time slows down". Maybe a better word to describe this gem of a place is, "quaint", & I mean this with the highest compliments. It's cozy & it's exactly what I wanted. The menu is quite expansive -breakfast, lunch, dinner, alcoholic beverages, smoothies, etc - & I love that you can pretty much order anything at almost any time of the day. My guests ordered vegan breakfast burritos - I had a bite & they were quite on par, if not better than anything that I've had (especially for someone who grew-up getting them across the street at Jimmy Dean's). As for myself, I went with the Salmon Plate & it did not disappoint. The portion was generous & the salmon was well cooked. Personally, I can't wait to come back. Support local & I'd be surprised if you didn't fall in love with SCV with this lovely, local restaurant + shop. Huge shoutout to Riley for being the warmest of servers. This place should honestly be called Eat Real Slow Café. I've been here 3 to 4 times now, and every visit has been painfully slow. Slow to be greeted, slow to place an order, and very slow to get food. On my most recent visit, our waitress disappeared for so long that we had to ask another server to take our order because we were on a time crunch. When our appetizer never arrived and we asked about it after our main course came out, the waitress blamed us and said, "That's why we don't switch servers." The issue was not switching servers. The issue was not being checked on at all. If you have anywhere to be within a 2-hour window, do not eat here. Unfortunately, the food is not good enough to justify the extremely slow service, especially when accountability seems to be lacking. If you want to just get a drink/coffee and chill (what will seem like forever), this place is for you. read more

We were very cold and she sat us at a window seat in the sun and made sure our table was clean and ready for us I ordered the curry chicken sandwich on Dave's killer wheat bread and it was exactly what I wanted. The curry chicken is delicious and the side salad was fresh and tasty. I also ordered a pot of Earl Gray tea and the tea was brewed to my liking. Atmosphere interior is nice and clean. It feels cool and refreshing upon entering. The menu has a lot of healthy items and I went with the breakfast burrito. The wait time to receive my order was 15 minutes at around lunch time with a moderate amount of people. Price for the burrito was overpriced to me. It was ~$17 but they do have organic eggs and good quality ingredients. The burrito tasted delicious; however, the burrito was small and was not filling at all. I did enjoy the server attitude. It was pleasant and she was attractive. There were major problems with the WiFi. I tried connecting to it but it was not working properly. Somehow the WiFi was disconnecting and not working when I really needed it because there is no phone service nearby. Another guest told me he had trouble connecting as well. The other items on the menu were about the same price, but some of the special items were hovering $30 for the dinner although you get good quality food. Quantity was not good. I was hungry after consuming my breakfast burrito. The salsa that came with it helped the burrito taste better as it was already relatively good tasting. The price killed it for me. I have bigger and decent tasting burritos elsewhere for half that price or about $10. Overall, nice service, good quality, poor quantity and value for dollar could have been better if the burrito was bigger. Otherwise, it was worth a try and the interior was beautiful. read more
