Great service/food on my first visit to Finney's Craft House in, along with a solid hot honey pepperoni pizza and garlic wings. The best thing about this place is the simplicity of the menu -- mostly appetizers. If I had to be picky, it would be the lack of entrées, like a ribeye dinner or something more substantial than snacks and appetizers. The wings were loaded with garlic and Parmesan but lacked that deep fried flavor of a really good chicken wing -- still good, just not great 3.5 /5 stars . The pizza,: hot honey pepperoni, loaded with cheese, and pepperoni was honestly worth the visit on its own. 4.5/5 stars The waitress was a bit slow with just about everything, but she never dropped the ball -- no forgotten drink refills, no missing napkins or extra plates. I really enjoyed the carnitas nachos and the crispy tuna appetizers. Loved the watermelon margarita. The espresso martini has a yummy sweet cold foam on top. We were seated in the corner, and unfortunately the service wasn't the best. We had to ask multiple times for our water to be refilled, but it never was, and overall the service just felt a bit inattentive. It was also a little confusing trying to request a birthday dessert. We ended up being charged for it, which is totally fine, we had just misunderstood when we were told it would be "taken care of." Just something for future customers to be aware of so expectations are clear. Overall, it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for, but hopefully it was just an off day! read more

I visited this location for lunch around 12:30 on a Thursday and met with my Yelp Elite Mentor. She was already seated when I had joined. After my arrival, our waitress, Brooke, came by and noticed that I already had a water bottle and asked if there was anything else I wanted to drink. I declined, but give a thumbs up for her attentiveness. I ordered the BBQ ranch chicken salad as a wrap, and our waitress asked if I wanted the dressings on the side. I agreed that would be nice as I probably wouldn't be finishing it so that would prevent it from getting soggy. I also asked if I could be placed on a separate check, and she said that we can do it at the end on the Ziosk machine. The wrap was more than enough for lunch. I ate half of the wrap and was full. Everything in it tasted fresh, and delicious. I also noticed throughout our meal, two or three other employees stopped by our table to check on us, and to clear empty plates and glasses. When it was time to check out, Brooke told me that she had separated my check out and set me up on the Ziosk machine to pay. I really appreciated that she has remembered my request. My BBQ ranch chicken salad was $16 with the tortilla wrap being an extra $1 for a subtotal of $17. We came here last night around 6 o'clock for dinner and it was pretty packed. I'm assuming that they're busier during Happy Hour, but this seemed to be a popular place in my mom's neck of the woods of Stevenson Ranch. They have a pretty extensive menu for a Crafthouse and our food was served to us rather quickly. I had the *menu recommended* mahi-mahi tacos, one grilled and one fried, and they both were good. However, I preferred the fried one. Next time, I would like to try other items on the menu since they have a variety of options. read more

So glad I finally stopped in & tried this spot out. Pub style, host of regular patrons, many craft beer choices, and delicious food. Everything we had was really tasty. I couldn't resist ordering the deviled eggs AND the Brussels sprouts for appetizers because I couldn't properly decide between the two and let it be known that both were extremely tasty and delicious- especially the sprouts. They had a yuzu ponzu sauce that was absolutely divine. If you like dark beer, let me suggest the mountain goat blend. Sooooo deep, tasty, and delectable. Highly recommend. I visited for the first time on a Saturday evening. There was a short wait so they took my name down and texted me when our table was ready. The restaurant has a mix of bar seating, high-top tables, and standard tables. They also have a few tables outside. I tried the Spicy Mango Margarita and it was good! We shared the chicken quesadilla which comes with guacamole and sour cream. For my entrée, I ordered Gary's Pepperoni pizza and it was good too! I do wish the crust was more well done. My wife and I have been here several times since they opened up in Santa Clarita. We first found them in their Porter Ranch location. In all visits, they have been consistent in delivering good food combined with good service. We we part of a small birthday lunch today (seven people) and received excellent attention. The hostess quickly assembled a table for us, even though it was lunch hour on a Saturday, and the server did a great job with the table service. Two of our party are gluten-free, and he explained how they prepared their food for people with that food allergy. I ordered their crispy chicken sandwich with a side of fried pickles. The sandwich was a large portion of chicken breast with assorted toppings. The overall flavor was very good. The pickles were "OK". I didn't prefer the way that they prepared them, but there was nothing wrong with them. They just weren't the best I've had. My wife ordered the prosciutto and arugula pizza. It has a hot honey topping and is excellent. It's her go-to at Finney's, and I always steal a piece or two. Or, three. Their pizza is a flatbread style and tastes really good. They have a large assortment of beers and cocktails. I think they're a great choice for lunch. read more

Our first time here and so happy we stopped in for lunch. The hostess was so very friendly and she asked us if we had a table preference. We let her pick for us and she gave us a comfy booth. We had been there a bit and asked a young woman if she was our server. She said no but she would be happy to take our order. She ended up helping us most of the time, although there were many other wait staff who checked on us as well. I ordered the mini ahi poke tacos off the starter menu and a chopped wedge salad. The tacos were perfect, so fresh and flavorful. The chopped salad was also delicious! My husband ordered the hickory bbq burger on a gluten free bun and loved it. So large and tasty. He orginally added a house salad but when it came we noticed is was more of a spring mix and he really liked the look of my chopped wedge. They were very understandable and offered to switch it for us and did not charge us for the house salad. The dining room has many large screen tvs and a large bar area as well. Plenty of nearby parking. We got there before noon and by 12:30 it was getting very full. We will most definitely be back and encourage you to try it as well. A second visit this month. Matthew was a wonderful server! We sat outside which was a nice change. It is a small cozy area with plenty of greenery providing privacy from the parking lot. We had the chicken club sandwich. The parmesean aoli sauce was the ticket! The house made chips were so unexpected and delicious. We also had the Margherita pizza. I love the thin flatbread type crust. My home run hit for the week is Finney's Crafthouse. I was meeting with my prayer group. They drove from Bakersfield and I drove from LA to go here. The Nike store was closed, so I was just so glad I came in here. Our waitress name was Shanta and she was absolutely amazing, very kind. I told her it was my first time here and she did not disappoint. I asked her, what is the most popular? She said the cheese steak egg rolls. We had those, and by the way, you can check out my pictures. Those cheese steak egg rolls were good. My guests usually don't eat more than one appetizer, but I talked them into getting a couple. I got that and they consented to the onion ring tower. I think I'm going to come back one time and get the nachos too. But we got the cheese steak egg rolls and the onion rings and they're really good. Then I got a side salad, a Caesar side salad, it was good. Then I was going to get a smash burger, but instead that Wagyu burger is actually very good. It attracted me because I like ribeye. That was extremely good. I just didn't get the bacon on it because I don't like pork. And then got sweet potato fries, shared with the table, and it was just a lot of food. But this is the best part, the atmosphere. This was during a FIFA game and oh my goodness, every time USA scored or every time they scored, people were screaming and yelling, and I felt like I knew everybody. The waitresses, waiters, the people, I'm complimenting the people sitting around us. If you weren't a soccer fan, you would become one, because it was almost like a home game in there. We were so happy when they opened a location here in Valencia. We'd been to the Burbank one a couple of times, and always loved it. Finney's food is always solid. The Buffalo Cauliflower seems to be the one dish we order every time. But we've tried ordering something new each time, and we've not once been disappointed. Their beer selection and cocktails are absolutely solid as well. But what really stands out is their service. Even when they're slammed, the food comes out quickly, the staff is attentive and friendly and we've never had even the smallest issue. read more

I'm about to fall asleep face first on my office desk now bc food coma. First off, I ordered the lobster rolls appetizer, the California Cobb salad with extra ranch, and the bison burger medium well and added crispy onions, bleu cheese, and bacon in it. Went to Finney's Crafthouse a couple of times. Loved the layout inside the restaurant, food was great. You got to try their onion rings. Not fat and greasy like some places serve. These were a plate of thinly flaked onion rings staked high on the plate and yummy! I'm not big on onion rings but these were tastefully done. I treated a friend to a birthday lunch and I had a Ceasar salad. She had a chicken dish which she loved. I went back weeks later with my family and everyone loved the meal they ordered. When I walked in I was impressed with how open and spacious the restaurant was. It wasn't too busy, maybe because we went for lunch on a weekday. The server's attitude was lack luster, not too friendly but we did appreciate the manager coming by and checking on the customers. We ordered the Peggy's crispy chicken sandwich (recommended as one of their specialties) and the Mahi tacos. The chicken sandwich did come with chips but we ordered extra add on, truffle fries and sweet potato fries. The chicken sandwich had some sauce to it so when I picked up the sandwich, some of the sauce (or maybe hot oil from the chicken), which was still very hot, dripped down on my legs and it burned a little. The chicken itself was extremely hot as well and overly fried, the batter just fell right off of the chicken. When one of the managers passed by, I did mention the chicken sandwich being too hot, suggesting maybe having them rest it a little before serving it to the customers. I mentioned how the sauce was extremely hot and burned my leg a little. He didn't seem too apologetic about it but did mention that he would let the chefs know. I did like the ambience but overall the food was just ok and service was mediocre. We might go back and give it another try. But I wouldn't order the chicken sandwich again. read more

Came for dinner on Saturday and while there was only a 15 minute wait for a table, we decided to sit at the bar and found a seat immediately. From start to finish the service was fast and friendly. I ordered the raspberry cocktail (forgot the name) and the watermelon margarita but switched out the tequila to Lalo tequila. Both were 10/10. They also have about 30 different beers to choose from! I ordered the smash burger and it was better than I even expected. For dessert, we shared the churros and both agreed they were better than most other restaurants! I've visited this location several times and have only had great experiences! It's always busy but I've not had to wait more than a couple minutes for my table. The service has always been relatively fast and always friendly. I love the jalapeño egg burger, and sometimes get the veggie burger patty because it adds more spice. One of my favorite appetizers is the ahi poke tacos, which are about two bites each but packed with yumminess. The cheesesteak egg rolls, chicken & waffle bite, and mini Finney cheeseburgers are also great appetizers. The restaurant is always clean and it's just a nice setting to sit down for a delicious meal, and if I'm lucky a great game is in the several TVs they have. I hope you enjoy it too! read more

We absolutely love this spot! The menu is fabulous, and the staff are so friendly. We've been coming for months, and we recently had the best experience ever. We were greeted by Michael, who I believe is a Bus Boy or bar back... we noticed that there were no outdoor tables, and we were worried that we could not eat at Finneys since we had our dog with us. He kindly invited us to the side where there were outdoor picnic tables. He also helped to get our order started, and checked in with us at the end of service. He and the rest of the staff were absolutely magnificent. I wish the service were as fabulous at all of the restaurants in Santa Clarita! Special shout out to Michael. read more

We ordered the Parmesan Wings which were large and had great flavor. We also had a Tri tip sandwich which was perfect. The flavor was outstanding. We also had the Nashville chicken sliders. The sliders were huge, but very hot. We order Nashville chicken often wherever we go, and this was some of the hottest we have ever experienced. You should be aware that it is very noisy here. The music is way too loud for us old folks. First of all I have to give a shout out to our server Kian! He was amazing and the main reason for the 5 stars! I came in with my family of 5 around 4:30 and was seated immediately. Kian came over very quickly to take our drink order and answer any questions. They changed their menu so it took a minute to figure out what we all wanted. The ordering process was smooth and easy. The food came out very quickly and everything was delicious! They have plenty of booths and tables and outside seating which is nice. The parking lot is big and plenty of shops for you to shop after eating. I had the ahi tuna poke bowl which was delicious! The crispy rice with spicy tuna was also amazing and the rice was perfectly cooked. The margarita flight was the best part of the night and I will definitely get that again! Finney's beer selection for the price is the best in the area. The service is fast, especially with the ziosk self checkout. The ambiance is similar to yard house, with a wide selection of TV's. Finney's has been one of my favorite spots in Burbank, so I was excited when the Stevenson Ranch location opened after we moved to SCV! The new location is great plenty of parking, lots of open space and seating, including a great bar area with TVs playing sports. Between both locations, we've tried a good portion of the menu, and the food is consistently solid at each one. The burgers are definitely a highlight--you really can't go wrong with any of them. The Italian Chopped Salad is delicious and a great option to share. As for wings, delicious! I prefer the Yuzu Buffalo flavor--the Parmesan Garlic is good but runs a bit salty. Cheesesteak egg rolls are so good! We also tried the Chicken & Waffle Bites as a starter, and while they were tasty there are definitely better things on the menu to try. Lunch! Met friends here for lunch. The place was moderately busy. It's located off the freeway in a shopping plaza. Pretty casual place. I ordered the hickory bbq burger with a side of tots. My boyfriend ordered a pepperoni pizza. One of my friends ordered the southwest bowl. The burger was good and tots didn't seem like the usual but still good nonetheless. The pizza is more like a flat/thin crust pizza. Shareable but also can be eaten by one person. The southwest bowl looked good as well and a healthy alternative. There were lots of brew options. I didn't get a chance to take a picture of any of the food but it's a nice place to grab a meal and do some shopping after. read more

This is the second Finney's I have been to. My first was in Redlands and I had a really good experience there. That goodness was repeated at this location. I met some coworkers before our school's graduation. I got the cheeseburger sliders and some sweet potato fries. Two others also got the sliders with fries and onion rings. Went here with the fam for an early birthday dinner for my sister and I. Before going, I've never been, my sister described it as a TGIFridays, BJs type restaurant-- accurate. I got the same vibes. Our server was good, as attentive as he could be once business started picking up more. He got our drink and food orders as soon as we were ready and we didnt wait very long for the food to come out either I would say. Service only got slower once they got busier, which I get, but I'll explain why this was a bummer later on in my review. I wasn't very hungry so I didn't order a full entree... I just ordered two small sides. I got the Loaded Tots and the Poke Tacos. Both were just okay... I expected better. The tots were a little overcooked for my taste and was a little dry to me... they skimped on sauce or cheese or something, I don't know. The tacos were good but also lacking a bit flavor-wise. They were cute though-- but just didn't hit like I'd hoped. I tried one Deviled Egg from my niece, that wasn't bad... and my sister gave me a bite of her burger to try-- it did its job. My niece had a plate of Nachos that she seemed to enjoy, she got her fixings on the side--one being 'Fresno Chile'-- so I asked her for them since she wasn't going to eat them. They were nowhere near the Fresno peppers I've had lol not even an inkling of spice... added a little flavor to my food though. On to the best part of my visit-- the Margarita Flight I ordered. Very yummy and refreshing... I love me some good Margaritas. I've gotta say-- the one I expected to like the least was actually my favorite! The Blood Orange (so good)! Followed by the Guava... then the Strawberry, and in last place, Watermelon. My expectations in reverse. All were good but the last two were verrry light. I'd get it again though. Now, to end our night, we had a cake I had made special for my sister that the restaurant was holding for us. Our guy brought out a birthday treat (cookies with ice cream) which I took for me, since we had a cake for her, but he didn't bring out her cake. We asked him to bring it... it took probably 10 mins (maybe even longer?) before it was finally brought out so that we could sing together... by then, my ice cream was melted. See? Bummer. Anyway, I'm sure many would/do enjoy this place. I'd go back for the flight, for sure... but, I can't say I would feel the need to go back or that it would be my first choice amongst others. read more
